szbpool is under heavy DDoS every 2 or 3 days, anybody have a p2pool running up? is worthy to set up one p2pool node? if i set up one node can i have a DDoS atack on my personal computer? i'm thinking on set up a p2pool but i doubt  if i'll be ddos'ed if my personal ip is published here. Someone is interested?

Since no one is really interested in mining then possibly move to pos only. That may get some more interest.

How long does it take to download the blockchain? i started 12 hours ago and i've still got 64 weeks to go, 15 connections

It takes a while thats for sure. I am 7 weeks behind at the moment. When I am synced I will upload it to a file sharing site so everyone can download it quick.

No i don't have any yet, but was thinking about solo mining it with 2 old antminer U2's.
I'm still 57 weeks behind and my pc is always turned on lol

there it is synched up to 4/18/2015. All I did was copy the med folder from appdata I assume that should be everything.
