Yes, the quick new blocks are normal for now due to low diffculty compared to hash.

I would be more concerned about your GPU temps in combination with a low intensity of 1 (Using an intensity of 1 is most likely the reason for the low hash rates that are showing)

I would look at your hardware configuration and figure out how to get those temps down and increase your intensity setting.

Added:

For example, one of my rigs show up like this:

Code:
 cgminer version 2.11.2 - Started: [2013-04-02 12:03:54]
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

 ST: 2  SS: 0  DW: 0  NB: 1  LW: 8  GF: 0  RF: 0  WU: 60.0
Connected to cryptocoinmine.com diff 64 with LP as user xxxx
 Block: 07a09bd37d6eb7f1...  Diff:64  Started: [12:03:54]  Best share: 9
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
 [P]ool management [G]PU management [S]ettings [D]isplay options [Q]uit
 GPU 0:  58.0C 3426RPM | 334.9M/1.468Gh/s | A:0 R:0 HW:0 U:0.00/m I: 5
 GPU 1:  46.5C 3137RPM | 304.2M/1.228Gh/s | A:0 R:0 HW:0 U:0.00/m I: 5
 GPU 2:  54.5C  65%    | 304.1M/1.197Gh/s | A:0 R:0 HW:0 U:0.00/m I: 5
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And that is a fresh start, not completely up to speed. The numbers are closer to  400 m/H per card when start up is stabilized.

Well, this is laptop with dual radeon 6470... I think this Mh/s is quite good :-P
I wondered if this configuration is ok because it says "New block detected on network" but no coins in wallet...

Allright then.
I never had a chance to solo mine bitcoin, so I'm playing with this now and I'm not much familiar with setup/configuration...
thx

Question:
Is this normal?

eh doesn't look like my cpu is helping me a bit   Lips sealed

hoping someone will start a pool soon.

You are doing it wrong  Cheesy

285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [NEW CURRENCY] Maria 2.0 was banned, here is her proof. The birth of Bytecoin! on: April 02, 2013, 04:28:24 PM
Currently trying to mine (for the first time). If my GUIMiner says "Difficulty 1" then there's something not right, correct? Shouldn't it already be at 64?
If someone can send me a coing to start with, that would be great:

Me too
All blocks rejected...

Can someone send 1 BTE to see if this things work?

So, wallet is working... and now I must setup cgminer...

May have been sent without enough fee

is it just a waiting game if theres lack of fee?

If it's just uncomfirmed should be here:
http://blockchain.info/unconfirmed-transactions

But it looks that isn't here...  Undecided

Well that's not good, is it just lost to the ether? or does it eventually return to the owner.

True, that's not look good...
I think that could be related with that 0.8 bug, I hope that one of the bitcoin devs can confirm/reject this statement?

Few days ago I have a situation with 0 confirmation. The problem was that tx have no miner fee included, so it's returned to me after 50 hours or so..
But my tx was all the time in Uncorfirmed transaction zone (http://blockchain.info/unconfirmed-transactions)

Thanks

isn't 0.8 version broken?

290  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: No miner fee on: April 01, 2013, 04:03:54 PM
I don't know how long is too long, but let me see..

I sent tx March 29, 2013 in about 8:00
and its removed about
March 31, 2013, cca 14:00

that's 54 hours...

I agree that should be an option in wallets that you can cancel transaction if it not yet included in block... It will save me much time...
291  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: No miner fee on: March 31, 2013, 08:50:40 PM
I used Blockchain.info for this transaction.

Today I received email from them:

A transaction made through My Wallet has been removed from our database because it was taking a long time to be included in a block..
You may wish to try and make this transaction again, apologies for any inconvenience.

So, BTC was back to my account, I made another Tx with included miner fee. Everything is back to normal Smiley

When will there be a bitcoin auction site like EBay?  Or will that be the thing that makes LiteCoin move ahead?  Seems like a race to replace EBay and PayPal has begun.  Should be an interesting year.

allright, lets mine BTEs  Grin

And this one should be opposite... Lowest H/s gets you more BTE
294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bytecoin [BTE] (Genesis block launch April,1 2013) on: March 30, 2013, 09:03:09 PM
April fools, lets move on now.

+1

I'm getting bored now.

but still here...  Grin
295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bytecoin (Genesis block launch April,1 2013) on: March 30, 2013, 05:30:48 PM
So I'm guessing there will be an upper limit of 2,625,000 bytecoins, correct (i.e. 21 million divided by 8, since there are 8 bytes in a bit).

There are 8 bits in 1 byte.

Thanx for clearing things up. Tx is still unconfirmed but I hope it will go trough after those 3 days...

You can always retransmit a transaction paying a fee to other nodes, which may help, but it would require some degree of technical ability with the software; I'm not aware of any GUI that makes such functionality simple.

I think that this is something which have to be implemented in a wallet, if possible.

Noob.
299  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: No miner fee on: March 29, 2013, 02:14:17 PM
There isn't enough information to answer but ...

if the tx is a high priority tx (based on age, size, and all outputs 0.01 BTC of more) then it likely will be included by a miner as a courtesey within a dozen blocks or so.  Could be more, could be less.

I hope this will be it because tx value is 0.356 btc
So I have to wait...

300  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / No miner fee on: March 29, 2013, 01:46:40 PM
I send this morning some btc, but I didn't include miner fee...  (mobile app wasn't properly setup)

So what now? How long will it take to be confirmed?

I'm so angry I could shoot myself in the leg...  Embarrassed
