Do they have 20nm asics ready?
I hear Nvidia has delayed 20nm parts till 2015, and I very much doubt knc can get them before Nvidia does.
Something does not compute, because a fine swedish lady from customers support gave an assurance of Q2 shipping Which means shipping in August according to past history. Maybe July.

As a miner, I'm only reporting earnings transformed into fiat through my bank via coinbase. I bought lots of gold/silver w btc. When I sell those, I'll report earnings based upon the basis when I bought the metals. I use btcguild. I downloaded a spreadsheet of the mining events, took the daily total, used the daily bitcoin average as the basis. My CPA seems to be satisfied with that.

You really should talk to a knowledgeable tax professional and not take advice from random strangers on the internet, but here's my understanding of what the IRS said:
My "knowledgeable tax professional" has no clue.

My CPA wants me to provide her with the value of the bitcoin when I mined it vs when I sold it. It doesn't have to be the same btc, that's a daunting task to calculate. She just needs a number for the books. She needs a basis value for when it was mined vs when it was sold. And she's treating it like short term gains, like stocks. I'll use the difficulty vs my hash rate to calculate what I mined. I can look at my payout history on btcguild, but that doesn't reflect the date mined, just the date it moved it from btcguild to my wallet. My CPA doesn't know what to do, we're really just guessing. There are simply some huge deposits into my checking from coinbase that need accounted for, that's what we're doing. If you never sell any btc, you need not report anything.

My hopes for the future: -Wallet that supports 2 factor auth - Spend verified through phone app or thumbprint
If the thief has malware on your PC they can bypass or hijack any authentication you can perform in order to authorize a different transaction. This has long been a problem for online banking systems that attempt to employ 2-factor. The thief can use malware to change what you see on your screen and change what's happening in memory so you end up authorizing a different transaction than what you intended. What's really needed is end-to-end transaction integrity verification on a dedicated hardware device. Trezor gets us most of the way there but the transaction is not verified end-to-end, only workstation-to-Trezor. A system like the Cronto banking hardware device is needed for Bitcoin, where a PKI implementation similar to BIP70 could be used to verify the address of the payee all the way to the secure device of the payer. Yeah, what he said. ^

Neptune buyers will never ROI unless btc goes to $4k. Last time knc shipped, btc went to da moon. Maybe they pumped it up for their customers. Still better to just buy btc.

I had 24 character pass-phrase.. I really thought Bitcoin would be different than the current monetary system. But we have a new 1 to 5% that can't have enough. It's much easier to take from those who are vulnerable to computer slang, coding, and have scraps. Society one day may change, but not any time soon. Looking forward to a cashless society. What would happen to crime greed. and envy in that place ? Hopefully die a long deserved death.. Long live TZM and the Venus project. These things go to show btc is not grandma easy and far from it. I don't think it's very far fetched if there are a group of gov computer hackers stealing btc to give it a bad name. If you had a good passphrase on your wallet there's no way anyone could get them unless they knew the passphrase. Could anyone have gained access to it if you wrote it down or stored it on your computer somewhere?

Unlikely, if created properly.

Same thing happened to me. 18 btc lost. My problem was I had a dumb brain wallet and a bot guessed it. Literally 2 seconds after the btc hit my wallet they were gone. I presume this may have been want happened to you. Was your private key derived from a brain wallet. Purchase a phrase guessable by a bot?

Ok first who in this world provides 'free electricity'
also you are new here with obvious no trust and iam pretty sure the payment you are asking for have to be made upfront !! well it would be a great support to see some sort of a receipt or bill from knc of your purchase, you can post the pictures in this thread !Thanks
Firstly you aint exactly a long standing member with trust so i would be quite if i was you Cant really talk can you? @ Joae1975 They will not be coming to my house they will be going to my place of work. Which just happens to be a large warehouse with dirt cheap electricity and i wont even have to contribute towards. So electricity isnt going to be a problem i have already sorted this out. Thank you for clarifying where to they're going, LOL!

If you have 5 neptunes coming to your house, it wouldn't be too difficult for a really motivated criminal to simply rob you. You're dumb. Disclaimer: I'm not a criminal, I'm not going to rob you. Just sayin'.

Start selling all your unwanted stuff on eBay then use the money to buy btc.
