If you have seen sites like Photon-sol listing new tokens every single minute you can choose to invest an amount in there. It's like gambling you know and I think the people that invest in those things are addicted to it and they are probably hoping that these crypto things skyrocket. Bounty hunters should do more research with things like this.

I have no plans on visiting it anytime soon but it's really interesting to see people and their experience with it. Reading about it with the government making available their own wallet is somewhat surreal that it's happening. If it makes everything easier when using it, why not? It could act like just a hot wallet, you know.

Saying that "it's just $80K" shows that they really have all the money in the world and it's just a drop in the bucket, you know? I agree in some ways that if you get depressed, it's definitely not for you. You need to get checked because it's YOU who decided to gamble and YOU decided to risk an X amount of money. It's all part of the risk when you are gambling.
|
|
|
I don't gamble big amounts but I do know that if I would win a large amount I would just keep it and I would feel happy because it's something to be happy about. Multiplying your money in an enormous amount would make you feel elated.
Well, what I do when I win is I withdraw all the money that I made as a capital and then let my profits roll. It's just always like that. Like in trading. It's like that.

|
|
You know that's why there are stop limits being placed with every trade? To make sure that the amount that a trader would lose would bee capped to a percent that would be acceptable to the trader. Trading is basically one that you cannot predict 100% of the time that's why it's important to have risk management and not always go in on something and be sure that you are going with it strategically.

That's already quite a long time, 5 years and counting. What made you HODL LTC in the first place? Why change your mind now?
Are you in it for the profit? Or because you believe in it?

I don't know how is gambling considered as spending but it's going to be a loss if you don't win. They won't probably get the hang of responsibilities if they don't know how to start them. If they started like that, indulging in luxuries and ignoring responsibilities, the wife shouldn't tolerate that and it is just a hard decision but a necessary one if you want to be happy.
It's not just the loss of respect within families but himself. He probably lost his value with his doing. It's sad that someone have to go through that but he/she needs to understand that gambling is addictive and he needs to stop if he experienced something like that.

There's no limit, as long as you understand what it's for and you can generate your own wallet and buy cryptocurrency for yourself. I think what imposes the age limit are the exchanges that you are going to buy from and that needs KYC. That's going to be the issue if you were a minor. Other than that, you can make yourself your custody wallet and then let somebody else send you balance or something.
Bitcoin is a decentralized exchange. Anyone can enter here at any time. No time limit is required for this. Many can become world famous at a young age. In this case we can talk about Elon Musk who created computer games at the age of 12 and later sold them. From there he earns a lot of money. Also holds the title of world's youngest programmer as he is only 13 years old. But it does not mean that everyone will have equal success. A class can have many students so not everyone is first. It requires hard work. So is the Bitcoin platform. Knowledge of Bitcoin is required before entering here. What is Bitcoin? How is it bought and sold? Also know how to fundraise. Protecting funds from being hacked requires extensive knowledge. Basically, success can only be understood if you devote a lot of time to it.
What are you talking about? Bitcoin is not a decentralized exchange but it is being traded in a "Decentralized Exchange". I don't get the connection you are pointing out with Elon and him being young. Not connected. Just because it's young? You don't make sense IMO.

Well, we all know that you could really take advantage of knowing that you can invest in this narrative. It's not going to last long now because the current narrative will go back to BTC but it will roll again towards meme coins and then NFTs. That's what I think. We will have a longer bull market but more cycles this time.
|
|
|
I think investing in meme coins is a double-edged sword. There are only a few gems that would allow you to profit and you need to be one of the first in line to get that as well. Like when it's just so little in value like many zeros in front and then reaching consecutive ATH because it has become viral. It's really hard to predict but it's worth it as long as you are investing what you can afford to lose.

Well, it's easy to know the question that you have when following or joining a community. It's where the interest of the community is prioritized and not the person who started it. It's one of the reasons why it's best to really dive into a community and interact and read the posts that they have and see if it fits you.
I believe that you can find the reason tat you are looking for when you found it. It's just that IMO. If losing a job happens to you, move forward and find the best opportunity that comes your way.

Do you know why addicts keep it a secret? It's probably because they are ashamed of what they are doing and do not want their families to know his/her agenda when it comes to those types of things. It may not be gambling but it still indicates that they don't want them to know because of those things.
I don't think loved ones or family members could help a gambling addict. Maybe in terms of helping with daily necessities or something related to that but not to the point that the addict will quit. It's going to be a support thing IMO.

I imagine this as someone who has been unruly and not following the rules of the casino. It's either that or he/she is cheating on the game. It's not something to be proud of though.
I haven't been in that situation nor do I plan to. It's never going to be a great situation and feeling when that happens. How about you OP?
|

I believe it depends on your strategy butt it's important that you manage your risk. You can trade a lot if you are a market maker, but if not, you are a swing trader. It's mostly dependent on what your goal is but if you were to trade, I believe in the long-term with the long trades, like you might be holding for a long time for a month, but when you profit, you really boom, you know?
The right setup should be waited and back test a lot so you would know if it's an effective strategy or not.

Thank you for bringing this up, maybe this time we can get confirmation with this and hopefully be accepted for the Merit Source for our board. Very helpful information that you have given. It's really surprising that the situation is like that now.

Well, that's what happens when you are losing. It's always going to be biased towards yourself and not how it would work. I'm pretty sure that if you have played different games that are like this, it would be common to experience this. Maybe just lay back and not go all in. Even if it's on the "sure or high-chance" of winning" still manage your risk so you won't get emotional.

It would help if you had decided by now OP or given updates or some progress about this thread. A lot of members have already posted their opinions. Can you update what you did for this one? What do you mean by money links? That's suspicious. ![Shocked](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/shocked.gif) YouTube has a lot of beginner friendly courses.

The possible loophole with this is that there is no actual trading yet seen. It's an indicator that would really be a great tool for trading but I haven't seen it being used. It's still not the perfect indicator because the tool shows a negative red bar on the part where the price lowers, but it turns green. NOt every red bar would be a great signal. It should be worked with other indicators as well.

I think you are offering the wrong way. You pay the investor 15-18% return? Wouldn't that be too much? What is the contract and do you have any portfolio to back your statement that you are who you say you are?
Evidence is the best way if you are really interested in giving something.
