281  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do Banks fear cryptocurrency on: August 25, 2017, 08:50:38 PM
I would say banks are fearing crypto but at the same time keep in mind that paper money will be here for a long time (at least a century) and they are not too worried (yet). lol
282  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: High transaction fees ! on: August 25, 2017, 08:49:54 PM
The transactions are outrageous I have some Bitcoin right now but there is no way I can move it or at least would because the fees are too high I will wait until they go down before even trying to move it anywhere.
283  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My error on: August 25, 2017, 08:49:10 PM
Never regret about this. Of course sometime we loose a lot but you never know to what can lead to if you were a billionaire. You can do something now - invest or a lot of interesting things by regrets you dint became a rich man so come on) I believe  in you)  Smiley

Double down. Just because you lost doesn't mean you can't make more in the future! Invest more, work harder and earn back everything you lost and more. You can do it - I have faith in you!
284  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens when we hit 21,000,000 bitcoins? on: August 25, 2017, 08:29:58 PM
Then there will be no more Bitcoins. It is that simple. After we reach 21,000,000 there cannot be any more and only the value can go up over time (or down, of course).
285  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what do you think about pump and dump? on: August 25, 2017, 08:28:28 PM
Only thing I hate that I can’t control the whole event...LoL

LOL! It would be amazing to know when to sell in a pump and dump and make so much money but realistically you can never know for sure. Tongue
286  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How to win Bitcoins with Signature Campaigns ??? on: August 25, 2017, 08:26:40 PM
You need to register your account in signature campaigns and then post usually 25-50 times each week and then you will get paid in Bitcoin or tokens or sometimes both for your posts depending which rank you are. Hope this helps!
287  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie wants to know somethings on: August 24, 2017, 04:05:27 PM
No, there are virtually no signature campaign that accept Newbies. The minimum you should be is Jr. Member and you will get only a small amount.
288  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: regret by not believing in BITCOIN? on: August 24, 2017, 04:04:42 PM
Yes I first learned about Bitcoin a long time ago when price was only $10-15 and instead of buying I thought maybe it will not amount to anything and I could have bought $200. Now I would have almost $1,000,000 and instead I have $0. You do the math. Sad
289  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How does Bitcoin looks like? on: August 24, 2017, 03:58:58 PM
This is what Bitcoin looks like:

BTC

This is the symbol for Bitcoin just like $ is the symbol for dollars. Hope this helps you. Smiley
290  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can you see bitcoin in the future? on: August 24, 2017, 03:56:24 PM
In the future Bitcoin technology and infrastructure will improve to the point that we will make instant transactions using our smartphones and there will be very low fees compared to now. Smiley
291  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are the forkers purposely trying to kill BTC? on: August 24, 2017, 04:31:50 AM
Well, it's looking like bitcoin isn't quite the platform we imagined we could build to engage in the markets equitably....It's too slow, too expensive, and involves too much maintenance.  It makes one wonder: what good is bitcoin?  Maybe bitcoin cash will solve some of these problems so that we can start engaging the markets again.  When a six dollar fee is required to make a five dollar transaction, then something's wrong!  I don't care what the bitcoin Luddites say --->  BITCOIN IS BROKEN!  We need something that works.

You are right dude and this is why we need the Lightning Network. I can't even imagine Bitcoin going past $10,000 without some major development (like LN) otherwise who in their right mind would pay 5%-10% fees on every transaction when credit cards are far lower? (2.9% and under)

It just doesn't make sense and hopefully there is a solution very shortly or Bitcoin is screwed!
292  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Segregated Witness Activates on Bitcoin: This is What to Expect on: August 24, 2017, 04:30:04 AM
Segwit is finally activated. Bitcoin blocks can now be up to 4 MB, though 2 MB is a more realistic maximum.

Quote
However, this doesn’t mean that all blocks will immediately bump to 2 megabytes in size today. For a transaction to utilize the added space, it must be sent from a SegWit address (or more accurately, a Segwit “output”) — not just to a SegWit address.

Wallets and other applications need to be ready to accept SegWit transactions.

Quote
Some wallets, like GreenAddress, may offer this option on day one, or shortly thereafter. Similarly, large Bitcoin service providers could start accepting SegWit transactions right away, though some may need more time to prepare. BitGo, a Bitcoin infrastructure provider for major exchanges like Bitstamp, Kraken and OKCoin, expects to be SegWit-ready relatively soon as well.

Lightning and other implementations.

Quote
Arguably even more highly anticipated than an increased block size, second-layer technologies like the Lightning Network or, further out, Merkelized Abstract Syntax Trees (MAST), will be more easily built on top of Bitcoin. Most of this technology is still a work in progress, and it could take several more months before regular users are expected to use it. That said, it is likely that there will be experimentation on Bitcoin’s mainnet rather soon.

Version 0.3 alpha of Lightning Network Daemon software was released yesterday, which is the last major release before mainnet beta release.

Quote
And even when the Lightning Network is functional and in use, it will take a little longer to roll out more advanced features that utilize the Lightning Network or similar protocols. These include atomic swaps, which allows for the instant and (near) costless exchange of cryptocurrencies over different blockchains, like bitcoin and litecoin.

Quote
Further, more nuanced benefits of SegWit, such as faster transaction signing by hardware wallets, will be available within a matter of days.

Recently I have read that bigger blocks isn't good. What we need is the lightning network, NOT Segwit. Although I don't know why big blocks is bad though.
293  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin overcome Paypal? on: August 24, 2017, 04:29:11 AM
Bitcoin already did overcome PayPal. Its market cap is over PayPal just crossed it for the first time last week and I think in a few years it will never again go below. Tongue
294  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The OFFICIAL SegWit Activation Thread on: August 24, 2017, 04:28:22 AM
Why do some people dislike Segwit? I have heard only good things about it and if it will improve and evolve Bitcoin why stop it?
295  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Offline Wallets Vs Online Wallets on: August 23, 2017, 06:12:10 PM
There is no question about it - offline wallets are what you need if you want to be safe and not lose all of your Bitcoin. When you have an offline wallet, or "cold storage", you cannot be hacked!!! It is impossible because the only way you could get hacked is if you share your private key with someone which of course is very stupid and then you deserve to lose your Bitcoins. Tongue
296  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: can bitcoin wallet be hacked by hackers? on: August 23, 2017, 06:03:15 PM
What kind of question is this? Of course it can be hacked did you not read the thousands of poor people that lost all of their Bitcoins because they got hacked and now have nothing while these criminals get away with the money? This also happened to me, I didn't get hacked but I got scammed multiple times. It is very sad, really.
297  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is hoarding bitcoins good or bad for it's growth? on: August 23, 2017, 05:58:50 PM
When you hoard Bitcoins it isn't cool because Bitcoins are meant to be spent also not only for investing but also spending, just like physical gold many years ago before fiat.
298  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: LedgerX deal just got backed by Google and others on: August 23, 2017, 05:58:09 PM
The fact that Google is backing these companies is truly amazing. Although Google is failing it still says something about how influential and how much attention Bitcoin is getting now and should be appreciated!
299  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Pump and dumpers. on: August 22, 2017, 10:10:51 PM
Hello everybody, im new to this world but all in on it. Basicly watching youtube all day and just loving the concept. Which i was never aware of since i thought Bitcoin was just a virtual coin given out by a company which is why i thought that would never ever come trough. Knowing the technology now (good enough for me, but still not enough though i think ive gotten the right picture on how it kinda works) made me turn around 180.

That being said. Im goodhearted and trusting by nature but i now realised there are people that set up pump and dumps. Just to vent my view on it. When u are involved in such thing know that ur basicly a criminal. And no u dont have to break the law to be one. Sometimes u break the law but still are, at least in my eyes, not a criminal like smoking pot or something like that.

I think crypto is the future. If people stay away from pump and dumps true value coins could be recognised much easier and safer.
If you are believing in crypto u need to stay away from pump and dump. Cause otherwise ur hurting the industry of cryptocurrency and are basicly raping it.

Of course there are lots of pump and dumps. Most altcoins are just that. It is simple reality. They create hyp, wait for investors (especially big ones) and then sell off all their coins leaving everyone else penniless. Tongue
300  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What does it mean to invest in bitcoin? on: August 22, 2017, 12:12:55 AM
iam all in bitcoin investment
iam day trade use pair altcoin and fiat money
and then iam invest in bitcoin related company follow ico selling and cloud mining investment(genesis-mining and hashnet)

You should never put all your eggs in one basket. Try investing in something else or taking some out of cryptocurrency. I am all for investment in crypto but putting everything you have into anything is usually a bad idea.

With that said, if you are successful at it and make money then more power to you! Tongue
