We just hit 5 blocks in quick succession nice going, send some hashrate to the pool and we can get a steady flow of linda going.

You should really give a trial copy out at the very least, no one is going to stop 200$ on a program that sounds way too good to be true as well something that is released by a newbie
284  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Real Lucifer in the Vatican on: July 09, 2017, 06:59:35 PM
Lucifer is the name given to the angel that fell from god's grace, he then became satan or the devil. Lucifer means bringer of light so it is rather fitting that a telescope looking at stars is named Lucifer.

293  Economy / Services / Re: WTR a huge amount of scrypt hash rate for 4-10 hours on: July 06, 2017, 07:01:44 AM
I do not think anyone will accept paypal from you, because you are a newbie and have no trust history. You could easily just chargrback after the contract ends, why not just withdraw to your bank account and then buy BTC from there? Not blaming you personally, but i hope you do understand that there are some bad people out here trying to use paypal and then chargebacking.
fair enough, i wouldnt mind going first if the member is trusted Smiley thanks for the advice.
Edit i didnt even think about charge back, i guess its a pretty small amount so if there is another payment method that wont allow me to charge back im open to using that
294  Economy / Services / WTR a huge amount of scrypt hash rate for 4-10 hours on: July 06, 2017, 06:45:04 AM

"That’s a great question. We can transfer to your PayPal account. iTunes or Aliexpress gift cards are another great way. Bank account transfers are possible as well. Transfer fees and cost will be borne by the user." this is very dodgy, why would a crypto mining community want their pc to mine gift cards. also the download link is a setup.exe file. which on its own just looks strange. id stay far away
297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining Recommendations for set up on: July 05, 2017, 07:22:03 PM
GTX 960 is a fairly good miner, for NVidia-orientated coins especially lbry or lyra2rev2 based coins, or point it at Nicehash.

HD 4890 is too old, not much that's going to support it at ALL any more and the performance would be a sad joke for it's power usage.
Same on the GTX 550ti cards.

Nice hash would probably be the way to go, but unless your Electricity is fairly cheap i dont see you making much profit off them, you could always try your luck with some solo mining
298  Local / Mining (India) / Re: I want to mine Ethereum at 70 MH/s. What will be the total costing for it ? on: July 04, 2017, 08:29:04 PM
You'll get roughly 6-8 dollars a day, keep in mind however that you'll mine less and less as the difficulty rises. if you are obtaining electricity illegally or at your lace of work i wouldnt risk your job or welfare for 7 bucks a day.

after some help from some reasonably smart and insightful people on this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2000177.msg19918703#msg19918703
I've managed to come up with an idea using an already well structured system to fix most of the problems (not all)
first things first before i get -rep from every tom, dick and harry as well as a mouthful of of uncoordinated hate speech, let me say a couple of things
1: i know my idea is neither original or perfect
2: I have an interest in money as does every person, however i am not doing this to earn a few dollars of BTC
3: This is a social experiment, on paper it seems solid and i hope in practice it will do the same.

This will be something i would like to grow and adapt however its always good to start small.
id like to start with anywhere between 10-20 people.
we will be using the website freebitco.in for our initial run.
the requirements to join: -English speaking
- able to log in once every few hours at least 3 times a day
-not be scared to invest a few dollars for experimentation purpose
and most of all not be a self righteous prick but rather someone who wants to convey positive ideas or improvements in a constructive manner.

if you have further questions or you just want to put your name forward please give me a PM with your email address.
