281  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin money? on: August 20, 2017, 12:38:12 PM
What can money do and what bitcoin can not do? I think bitcoin is now more as a transaction tool, many people have also used it. So yes bitcoin is like money to me.
I think they have the same aspect when it comes to its usage, as long as currency is involved I think its pretty much the same. But when it means in the transaction like in online I'm pretty much Bitcoin would have to still be converted to Fiat to be transacted.
282  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin reduces unemployment on: August 20, 2017, 11:21:47 AM
Bitcoin is not reducing unemployment . It's just some unemployed people treat bitcoin as the only source of income. It doesn't affect unemployment but instead it opens more opportunity.
You're quite right about that, these people wouldn't understand that the government is centralizing the economy therefore they're also determines the salary of all the employee under the government. Whilst Bitcoin is decentralized and the government doesn't have the authority to get a grip about it.
283  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin End World Poverty? on: August 19, 2017, 02:56:19 PM
Because not many people know with bitcoin, especially in a developing country, it seems too far to be able to end poverty in the world

So you're saying that if people knew about bitcoin, bitcoin will be able to end poverty? No, even if people knew about bitcoin, they will never be able to become a rich people. Unless, that poor people knew bitcoin before it's veey popular price like in the year of 2009 where people first bought bitcoin.
Even if these people already knew Bitcoin since 2009, still it will not eradicate world poverty. I mean this is a very broad problem to partake by just some newly born currency. If Dollars (whom by the way centuries older) didn't even reduce the world poverty to atleast 10% then what more of Bitcoin who's very young.
284  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How the future of bitcoin will look like on: August 19, 2017, 12:32:09 PM
Other cryptocurrencies don't stand a chance to over rule bitcoin because of its high price or value it will take them a lot of tome before they can replace bitcoin on top or even if they can we can never say their potential because bitcoin also started from the bottom.
For now, we can say that there is no cryptocurrencies that can replace bitcoin because bitcoin is still strong as of now and it is not that easy to beat because bitcoin is one of the most trusted cryptocurrency in the market and it is the first crypto that has been launched so getting it replaced is very impossible.

I thought Bitcoin was the first coin which was adopted widely, that's why it got so much popularity and hype. The future of Bitcoin is bright and if mass adoption takes place then it'll shoot up higher than ever.
Bitcoin is the coin with the biggest user base but I do not think we can tell that bitcoin has been adopted widely since some estimates of the amount of users of bitcoin put that number below 10 millions so I think bitcoin has a long way to go before we can tell that bitcoin has been widely adopted.
If it means in the availability and usage, then it is already available. When it comes to versatility and in utilizing it, not so much so that could be improved.

We really can't know what will be the future of Bitcoin is, and we really can't determine what could be the outcome but what we could do is, we could predict what will happen so that somehow we could know some insights of what're the possibilities. And eventually we can make it happen? I guess?
285  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin reduces unemployment on: August 19, 2017, 11:56:14 AM
I can say I know some people wich are working into crypto world and were able to keep and get a steady income from crypto doing trading and some others services, but in the general the earnings you may get aren’t enough to cover developed countries, but it does help others countries for sure.
Hmmm but in reality it only help those who're first world countries, those who've already in the more advanced phase of technology. I mean they are the only ones who could utilize it. But for those who're in the third world country well, they won't do much therefore this won't help them much.
286  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin has defeated gold on: August 19, 2017, 10:17:52 AM
Bitcoin: $1260/BTC
Gold: $1241/xau
Well, I can not believe that the Bitcoin prices has crossed over gold sooner than I expect. I thought the process would be finished in April. Wow, Bitcoin is truly worth and everyone who has sold their Bitcoin has made a huge mistake. Nothing can stop Bitcoin right now.
Yes I am also amazed how bitcoin value rises that huge after that drops. For this matter of time, I can assumed that bitcoins are more valuable than gold and a great investment than gold. But we all know that gold is part of the history and it is a natural wonders it came from our planet while bitcoins are just made by man. Truely man inventions are pretty good that can even surpass what nature can provide.
That is indeed a very good overview in about Bitcoin and Gold. It it indeed that Bitcoin's value is now more valuable than gold and not only that also its availability is not that hard since you can earn Bitcoin in many different ways of some sorts. Whilst Gold is so hard, not that you need to find good location for it but also you need good buyers for it.
287  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are holding Bitcoin? on: August 18, 2017, 03:34:35 PM
Of course for long-term investment. And I'm sure with the current prices, many are interested in bitcoin to make bitcoin a long-term investment. They believe that bitcoin prices will continue to skyrocket
I agree. Bitcoin is the right investment choice. I am sure that in the future bitcoin will become a rare item that many people are looking for, so it is certain that the price will be higher
Rare item? I don't think so, since Bitcoin is now a rising star phenomenon of some sort Bitcoin will be a common item but has so much value in the market. Rarity isn't always the label for high prices.
288  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin provide income on line? on: August 18, 2017, 01:32:54 PM
Yes, bitcoin is internet based and yes it provides income. I am not yet earning because I study things first before trying. I read about signature campaigns and for now, while waiting to rank up within 2 weeks I will apply to the only campaign that accepts newbie. That is my target.

Every student like you who are entering in this bitcoin industry are very blessed. Because for sure once you graduate or finish you're
highschool life, or college time. I think you can become one of the rich people because of bitcoin.
I do not know if you can become rich with bitcoin but bitcoin is probably one of those things that will make our future easier since we are some of the people that adopted early, if bitcoin is capable to reach billions of people even holding a small amount of bitcoin can change your life.
What? LOL, in fact I know someone who's already a millionaire because of Bitcoin. You're not just aware of what is more relevant to this community. Easier? Are you kidding me, this is not easy money you need a lot of effort and time just to learn. Then it will be just the start for you to have knowledge about this community and then earn lots of it.
289  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Safest way to keep bitcoins? on: August 18, 2017, 12:27:09 PM
paper wallet and paper wallet, go completely offline when you are generating / printing them
well you are right but the safest way for me to keep your bitcoin is to buy a hardware wallet 1-2 hardware wallet is best because you can diversify your money and all you need to keep the backup key with you it is a safe process I think after keeping your bitcoin in the hardware wallet you do not need to be worry about the security and the safety of your money
Do we really need to buy hardware wallet? As far as I know you don't need to buy it. All you need is a storage for it, that could be your PC or something. We'll the key really is the most important, to access the wallet that is. But you also need to secure your system as well, we never know when will the virus will attack so you also need tight security for it.
290  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin End World Poverty? on: August 18, 2017, 11:53:48 AM
Poverty is a very complex issue, I do not think it's a wrong financial system but a wrong state policy. Bitcoin is not a solution to eliminate poverty, but a country that can reduce poverty.
What you're saying is just exactly the same, its like telling a tale over and over again.

The state policy is very different from the financial system, if you would analyze it more clearly. You only only making it more complex, you see the state policy is concerned on the human rights and the policies that the people partakes. Whilst the financial system is all about the financial criticism, the income and outcome of the flow of the currency.
291  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin has defeated gold on: August 14, 2017, 09:43:29 PM
From the start when i used bitcoin i knew that bitcoin could defeat gold because the price of bitcoin are starting to increase unlike gold the price of it are stable. But the truth is, it wasn't bitcoin goal to defeat gold it's just arbitrary that bitcoin just defeated gold.

Last month starting bitcoin price is equals to the one ounce of gold. We may see the price dips in the past some weeks. However, price is seems recovered and price settled more than 1100$ now. Every year in April month. Price use to bump to some decent value, just check the price for past two years. I hope we gonna touch the next peak value in this month.
Yeah when i see bitcoin price higher than gold price, it's only for a while because still many people not believe with bitcoin and i bet many people in into that's trap, now they think how to covered they lost.
The above gold's price was just a only for a while because bitcoin is very volatile and after a few days the price was just go down until now. So people are now in the trap of bagholding because they don't want to lose money but even though the price drops i can still say that bitcoin is safe because after a few months it will pump again.
When was that reply? About a year ago? Didn't you see the boards? The price is already in $4000+/BTC compare to gold. In reality and ideality Bitcoin have already overcome Gold. Availability not so hard; price is higher; worldwide use? Yes! (Not all); although it is volatile atleast it is decentralized.
292  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why some people prefer Bitcoin over fiat ? on: August 14, 2017, 09:32:11 PM
Bitcoin is being used widely in porn sites, gambling and drug dealing sectors. Is that why the btc made for ? I have seen a lot of members in this forum discussing about buying drugs, gambling and enjoying porn with bitcoin. Is not it a misuse of a currency ? Block chain tech is a awesome tech and btc is getting popular. I hate these misuses of precious btc. It hurts me. This will lead into unhealthy society along with unhealthy future generation.
Bitcoin was meant as a decentralized digital currency. The adoption of bitcoin has to start somewhere right? look at VR, the porn industry was one of the first to adopt that as well Cheesy
That's what they don't understand. You see Bicoin was first used only in the Deep Web since it is the only cryptocurrency that can be used there. And besides its decentralized as you've said, so its up to us to use it in every way we wanted.
293  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin reduces unemployment on: August 14, 2017, 09:20:50 PM
I think in the presence of bitcoin will reduce unemployment, because searching for bitcoin also requires hard work and creativity, and competitiveness in bitcoin is also high almost similar to work in the real world

What is your opinion this time?
Yeah it is because as you see the the price of the bitcoin is almost a 4100 dollars many of the people are getting to know bitcoin because of its value by knowing that also those who have no work in their life can work here in bitcoin, and by working here it can produce work that's why bitcoin can reduce poverty. Smiley
You see many people have already known Bitcoin ever since. But they don't have interest in it yet. So now that its price is higher they're rushing their way into Bitcoin because it can make a lot of profit than those of their jobs.

Yes it could reduce poverty to some individuals.
294  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin End World Poverty? on: August 14, 2017, 09:10:29 PM
Definitely not. More precisely, reducing poverty in the world because it is impossible to eliminate all poverty in the world. The cause of world poverty is very complicated. So how can poor people buy it if they do not have internet access. Bitcoin is only beneficial for some people.
I agree that Bitcoin cannot eradicated world poverty. It is indeed a result of many phenomenon, such as war, disease outbreak, lack of fundings (like in communist countries, they prefer military than the welfare of the citizens) etc.

Indeed you need internet but you don't need to buy Bicoin earn, there are many ways.
295  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How the future of bitcoin will look like on: August 14, 2017, 09:00:27 PM
Bitcoin is now the highest price of all types of altcoin available, and I'm sure in the future all transactions like shopping in the market or paying a bill can already use bitcoin. I look forward to such a development
Nope, Bitcoin does not belong to the altcoins; that's why they're called altcoins because BTC is the MAIN coin.

It is already happening! You can pay bills in such and also you can go shopping and buy items you wanted using Bitcoin. BUT it only happens to those countries that have accepted it as a form of payment.
296  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin reduces unemployment on: August 14, 2017, 12:17:04 PM
Bitcoin does not reduce unemployment, but does not increase it, think about the people working in the finance and banking sector, who sells and sells bitcoin at home, which has the benefit of collecting more? There are those who make money and even make money at home.
Its true that it does not reduce unemployment but its not true that it can't increase it. You see, if somehow all of those employees would've already realized that there is a potential that they will earn more if they migrated to Bitcoin then it will definitely increase the number of unemployment since it is decentralized and no matter how much you earn from it there will be no tax, because you're not part of the government.
297  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Sound Money? on: August 14, 2017, 08:26:43 AM
Im still a newbie but for me bitcoin is money becuase money can buy anything if you earn a lot of bitcoin it can be convert it into a real money to buy food , cellphone, or any gadgets that u want or car or house Smiley
It is money but just in a different perspective. You see Bitcoin is a digital currency. Although it is both money it have different ways of transactions and such. If you would've already noticed few countries have already accepted it as means of payment and it is now much easier to use when it comes to convenience.
298  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Becoming a Global Currency on: August 14, 2017, 08:05:21 AM
Is not surprising, and the governments won\t be able to stop bitcoin. We have to hear good stuff about this coin, not only negative ones.I in bitcoin, and i believe will become the top global currency!

But the current economic situation, many countries began to address the currency bitcoin above, many are used for money laundering, so this is a very difficult problem.
Lol, why do we need to carry the problem of the government. Bitcoin has nothing to do with it since it have different aspects economically. And besides Bitcoin was made as a world wide currency and we can use it wherever and whatever way we wanted.
299  Other / Off-topic / Re: Young people should go all in on bitcoin on: August 14, 2017, 07:50:39 AM
It would be better if the young are used positively, especially on business. Young people should have creativity about business management, and bitcoin is wonderful opportunity to learn and run a business as profitable business asset.
They should learn about bitcoin, since they are still young they can explore a lot in this world and they will know about what are the
usage of bitcoin and how they benefit it. Not only by investing, they can also find a job that pays bitcoin and use that amount to real business
or even for trading, it's just a matter on how you manage your money.
I think exposing them to such things so complicated for them to comprehend will only tend to naive result and eventually they will find it not worthy of their time. I know at some point this may give them great asset as a youngster atleast. But the thing is their level of understanding and comprehension is not that high.
300  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Sound Money? on: August 13, 2017, 10:06:04 PM
Without any doubr Bitcoin is money. We can using bitcoin for the same purposes we use fiat and other currencies , i don't see real difference, unless bitcoin is a lot better because it is offering us the opportunity to make more money
That is true that Bitcoin really is money, since few countries have accepted it as means of payment. Let's focus on those countries, so now I could say that Bitcoin has already its convenience to its usage since you don't need to convert Bitcoin to whatever country's fiats you are in just to make transactions and stuffs. So now it will be used as 'Bitcoin'. Imagine that we can have that convenience all over the world, that would be amazing.
