C'mon man, you can go mining Zec and send 20% of your hashpower to developers. If you like idea or a project itself you can support it, if you don't - there are alot of others to mine.

They may be burned or may be distributed for miners as well, but from the start rules were written - coins will be distributed for participants. Actually miners also have a chance to invest, doesn't they? I'm personally invest some funds, because I believe it this project and wish it success.

I think what Tradesatoshi added VOT by itself, but it's not bad at all. Small exchange is better than no exchange. So waiting for official news from devs about exchange.
Congratulations! Waiting for reasonable exchange.

Burn unsold coins is great solution, but bonus was stated in whitepaper from the start, so I think it's impossible now. And we need a real market to talk about price. Cross fingers to poloniex decigion.

BTG mining will start at 1st november. Our pool is one of the officially supported for BTG. Check our news to be prepared for mining: http://www.nibirupool.com

Is this CPU mineable, even though its not a Cryptonight? Also, this will be much better for other users if you'll release a windows bases pool and miner.
Pool is not depend on platform, and miner as well. Any pool for your choice, one is in my signature. Any equihash miner also, fo win or linux, claymore of ewbf or any else. Also win wallet is available.
The algorithm is Equihash, but the parameters are different from zcash. More memory usage. Miner software needs to be rewritten..
info proof? devs didn't said anything about changes, it's the same equihash.
because electrum is a crap.
devs you need to release a working wallet, at least compiled win and linux daemon.
check out our pool. http://votecoinmine.site
It's located on reliable server in one of the biggest data centers in US. Already paid almost half million VOT and now it's stable as rock Also it's good to spread network hashrate.

sure I've tried, it doesn't help
You collected the first purse using Berkley DB 4.8, and the second using the most likely different version, keeping wallet.db from the first assembly. I advise you to withdraw all money from the first purse and generally remove it. Or to collect the second purse indicating the hard way to Berkley DB 4.8 I've made it on the same machine. Tried to remove completely everything, backup wallet.dat (I can't withdraw money, because old wallet won't sync). Build it again and got the same error. Also tried to recompile old wallet with 1.0 source, and got the same error.

First wallet on linux can't sync, so I've compiled a new one fro latest sources, but it won't start
Error initializing database environment /home/user/.SHIELD! To recover, BACKUP THAT DIRECTORY, then remove everything from it except for wallet.dat.
ERROR: CDB() : error Invalid argument (22) opening database environment

There are only 10 days left till the end of VoteCoin ICO! If you plan to invest please do so at https://votecoin.siteRemember that we are going to distribute all pre-mined VOT coins, no matter how much BTC we collect from investors - coins unsold at the end date of ICO will be distributed between all investors in proportion to their purchased value. So if we do not reach our 200 BTC goal, all participants may expect huge VOT bonus at the end! It's alsmost 300sat ICO price with that bonus, sounds good.

I try build mining pool support nicehash but it is so difficult. I not ever build equihash pool.
you can easily setup nicehash on our pool on high diff port stratum+tcp://votecoinmine.site:4444

give us exchange, dev. for win users - you can simply use win daemon, it works like a charm.
