yes, I heard about pokerstars but they don't take crypto, right? I like the idea that "hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard" but on the other hand I'd also agree that some people are "naturals" for some skills like math, persuasion, or even hiding feelings. No, they don't accept them, but yes, you're right, I'm also in favor of the fact that one can learn these things and be at the level of people who have some kind of special talent for poker, in addition to having some knowledge and experience great goals can be achieved, I have not reviewed it again, but the guides they give there are level 1A, I know that many current players have read and learned these guides well and that has guaranteed them great success, because there are some technical issues that They take into account at the time of the game that it usually helps a lot, I think that the rest is already psychological and usually depends on the type of thinking of the player. do you think one day they may 'cross the bridge' to web3 and start to accept crypto as a way of payment too? interesting to think about it, skill will only take you to a place, mindset and psychology will take you to the other side, when it comes to poker, but this stands true to many sports at professional level as well.

~ oh, interesting, so they already announced it? where is the best place to learn more about that launch? their twitter or somewhere else?
good to see more casinos entering the NFT world.
It's only in the phase of discussion right now, as far as I understand. There was this tweet the other day ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FHEQfhlq.png&t=663&c=H-Txns5PpywLIg) and some people say "yes" to it, and others say "nah". But I think those who seemingly oppose it just don't know what they are talking about. Apart from other things, Why would anyone mind an additional opportunity for winning tens of thousands USD? ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) haven't seen the tweet interesting idea, wrong approach, in my opinion duelbits angle could explore other ideas on NFT possibilities and interactions with the brand, or simply drop something, even if just starting by dropping a POAP to special users, why would a cassino business be related to biggest art sales in the NFT world? or maybe they want to go into the art business. then it's a different case.

That's why i posted about this because i was also shocked to see they giving away Bored Ape kennel NFT which is trading above $20k at this time which is huge giveaway for any casino and this indicates how much they have involved into this hype.Feeling that whosoever wins that particular NFT will be quite lucky guy to have hands on it free of cost. I wish I have seen this earlier contest ended yesterday almost 7k participants really small chances but we never know would be nice to win one of these bored dogs on a giveaway

The future of the metaverse is promising, and when combined with the increasingly advanced technologies of VR equipment, if combined with crypto, they can be a huge success in the not too distant future. Unfortunately the value of the equipment is still very expensive and inaccessible for many people, I hope this changes soon. Only on the issue of health, I'm a little concerned, because if today people already exchange many experiences of face-to-face relationship through online and video chats, imagine then that the metaverse is quite widespread. regarding costs it'll probably go down, remember personal computer and cellphones 20 years ago? it was much rarer to see it and much more expensive. regarding health I agree with you, in fact I'm reading a book by Naval and just read a page where he says that in general, more screens = less happiness, less screens = more happiness.

I'm not sure if a board is needed, seems like there is not enough demand for that, but for new topics should be ok
you are right about the series, after watching it I also became more interested on playing and learning more chess techniques.

I personally don't believe in this metaverse thing and think that its overrated. I don't know may I'm bad at understanding this but there will no casino in mataverse which will boom suddenly because its not interesting and enjoyable for me and the majority of my friends.
At the beginning, you're actually right. But with the shift of the popularity of the metaverse. We'll never know how the market is going to welcome that. But if it's related to cryptocurrencies and with the gamblers new choice of setting. It's very likely that many are going to start liking it. As of now, we can't see how good it will be but time will come and it's like the judgment day if people are really into it or not. It may be interesting for things that are hard to do in real life such as traveling, skiing and other extreme things, but casinos? I don't think that it will be popular in Metavers. why do people need metaverse in this case? if they like gambling they will go to the casino in real life. again, there are many reasons somebody would opt to go to a metaverse casino instead one irl one use case would be for people that don't have access to casinos in real life, in some places they are forbidden or don't operate at all or maybe people could be lazy to leave the house and want an easier experience with more comfort, we never know.

Yes, in fact did you know about pokerstars.net? there in its beginnings they left excellent guides to all public to be able to play poker like a professional, and despite all that, I still think that this way a lot of theory and a lot of knowledge is handled accompanied by skill, it has a lot to do with the luck that you have the person who plays, I have a friend that whenever he plays a tournament if he doesn't win it, he is among the first 3, sometimes I think that what he has is a talent, I don't know how he does it, but he succeeds. yes, I heard about pokerstars but they don't take crypto, right? I like the idea that "hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard" but on the other hand I'd also agree that some people are "naturals" for some skills like math, persuasion, or even hiding feelings.

agora, pq raios o cara deixou as privkeys no google drive?
vou ler o report completo
Privacidade zero. Nada realmente importante devemos guardar la... Olha que interessante aqui: In contrast, the WSJ's report claims that Google "does little to police these developers," which in some cases actually have their employees read users' emails. According to the report, employees of a company called Return Path read about 8,000 user emails two years ago in order to help train its software. https://mashable.com/article/google-reading-your-emails-responseSe eles ficam dando nossos emails para desenvolvedores contratados treinarem os robos deles, imagina o que eles fazem quando querem.

the idea for a new topic about chess is good @qwertyup23 but since it's so niche and not a lot of people post about it it's probably better to concentrate discussion here
but I don't think it's such a big problem to create a different topic for chess discussion only instead of using this one too many possibilities
Yes, if someone creates a new topic, then no problem (most importantly, do not forget to invite me there hehe). But for convenience (and due to the fact that the audience for discussing chess is rather narrow) I can simply rename this topic. By the way, I now tried to edit the first post of the topic and could not find the "add poll" option. Probably still worth creating a new topic, since this option is in demand and it is interesting to conduct different polls from time to time. What do you think? yes, unfortunately you can't add a poll to an existing topic, you'd have to create a new one for that. I think it's worth to create a new topic too, who'll pull the trigger and make it happen?

In my opinion, virtual reality glasses are not a very convenient device. Not all people are comfortable wearing glasses. Some use glasses with diopters. It is very inconvenient to put on virtual reality glasses over regular glasses with diopters. Many girls are proud of their long eyelashes and big eyes. They carefully look around and are looking for a guy to marry him. They are uncomfortable wearing virtual reality glasses. A breakthrough in the technology of metaverses and virtual reality will occur when a device is created to create real holograms. This will create a symbiosis of the real and virtual worlds. good take on the holograms, I think it's a two-way road we'll have more interactions of physical going inside the virtual and virtual inside the physical many possibilities, it's really interesting

yes, and imagine in the beginning: "electricity is not so good, I'd rather keep using candles and whale oil" "we don't need this new thing called car, we just need faster chariots/wagons" all new technologies have some degree of denial from general society, look at what is happening to NFTs now... then comes acceptance, but it may take some years. I wouldn't draw a parallel between the invention of electricity and the automobile with new inventions like the Metaverses. These "Metas" are a psychological phenomenon that does not essentially change a person's physical life for the better, but on the contrary, makes him go into the world of dreams and dreams, unbridled fantasy and illusion. In this, I see a big drawback of such an invention, because if you wander in the metaverses from an early age, then a person will grow up to be some kind of vegetable, without special interests in the real world. This is simply the degradation of humanity, in contrast to the progress brought by electricity and cars ... And also mobile phones and the Internet as an information system. things are not black and white, new discoveries brings new challenges on one hand internet brought us cheap communications, ways of working without leaving home and new territories of freedom for ideas and finances, on the other hand we have less people fucking (and fucking later in life), less testosterone, more depression, etc... the metaverse will bring other challenges and I agree with you that there will be lots of negative points but there are positives too like new possibilities for work and connections, new possibilities for teaching and learning, etc
