Anyone here following Ranji Trophy. History creted today as Madhya Pradesh for the first time won the Ranji trophy by defeating Maharashtra. Madhya Pradesh team was bein coached by Chandrakant Pandit who was a former wicketkeeper of team India. He was also the captain of Madhya Pradesh Ranji team in 1999, when they lost the finals and after 23 years won the Ranjhi trophy as a coach.

Mainstream media and it's propoganda. This will happen everytime Bitcoin has a new ATH and a new ATL. They still cannot believe that a currency managed and run by a community is becoming priceless. They will try everything possible to make people believe that Bitcoin is a bubble and should be avoided. For a decade they have tried and fail and the next decade they will again try and fail.

~~~ PCB has every right to raise this issue, why should they stop playing international cricket during IPL? Props to PCB and Rambo as they are just trying to secure their cricket board's interest, that's their main job but at the same time BCCI is also entitled to secure their product.
I have been saying this for some time. PCB will stop complaining if the foreign player release fee goes to the ICC instead of national cricket boards. Right now Pakistan and most of the smaller boards are not benefitting from the IPL, because this fee is pocketed by a handful of boards such as CA, CSA, ECB and WICB. For boards such as PCB and BCB, there is only monetary loss from this league. So their argument is also true. If the BCCI wants the ICC to keep three months every year blocked for the IPL, then the ICC needs to be compensated for it. ICC does not have any governance on domestic cricket therefore ICC cannot ask for any money from BCCI. Other boards can still schedule their international matches when IPL is played but the question is that will those players play for their country or will they play for the franchise. Let the players decide.
By the end of day 3 New Zealand have lost 5 wickets scoring 168 runs. Once again Mitchell and Blundell are on the crease. In the first innings with their contribution somehow New Zealand managed to score 329 runs. This time they're in a pressure to make some score, if not the match might end soon.
If these two guys can build a partnership then it will be easy for NZ to build a lead of more than 350 runs. NZ has already a lead of 137 runs these two need to add 250 plus to make the chase difficult for the English batters. Looking at the present form of Bairstow 350 runs lead will still be reachable for the English side anything above it might not be that easy.
Bitcoin with 18M+ currently in circulation, what will be the impact if the government decides to ban mining as alternative to stopping more creation of Bitcoin by shutting mining farms and it activities. just thinking about the effect as an investor.
Is it going to make Bitcoin more scarce and increase the price? or will it crash down the price of Bitcoin as a result of the crackdown?
From my thought it's a two ways thing,The crack down will immediately cause the price to plummet due to investors fear and most investors might sell off their portfolio's until a point where the market will absurd the selling pressure.
For instance , the last year's China crack down on both crypto transaction and mining of Bitcoin that saw a little crash on the price of Bitcoin and later the market absorb the overall pressure and shoot up. Then , In other way it will increase the value of Bitcoin on the long run since there isn't going to more Bitcoin to be created due to miners will no longer have to mine Bitcoin. therefore limited supply , will increase the price of Bitcoin.
China's crackdown was differen,t as in that country has been developing instruments to control and rule over its citizens..i mean to say that any country that has an authoritarian or semi dictator or dictator rule will be able to control and manipulated the cryptocurrency world. To counter this alarming situation, a lot of influencers have either shifted location or stopped. In that same manner a lot of inners have already shifted their location from China. The world is not just situated to a particular country. Miners have many options and therefore I think miners will find a safe heaven for themselves.
They are planning to increase IPL duration and by June the monsoon does reach Maharashtra so it will in their best interest.
How can they increase the duration of IPL which is already around 50 odd days? Now they want this IPL to be extended for 2.5 months? Please give them a suggestion that they could extend this duration to 12 months and we don't need any other tournament to be played. Pakistan has already raised its voice against it as PCB to challenge IPL's proposed extended window at next ICC meet. You cannot block international cricket for one full quarter of the year because you need to generate more revenue through IPL. There was a news in about increasing the number of matches in the mainstream media. It will be done in a phased manner but how they will accomodate those matches has not been disclosed yet. You can read this news article. It has been explained in detailed. I am not sure if an objection from a single board will stop BCCI.
England batting line up is in shambles and it's just 12th over of their 1st inning. Boult single handedly destroyed the English's Top order and Southee-Wagner duo also doing their job and running through over Poms.
And here we go 6th wicket down.
Another match but same performance by Bairstow. 130 runs in just 126 balls in a test match is just unbelievable. The English side was struggling before this guy started hitting them everywhere on the ground. The ball was swinging but he used that swing to his benefit. If he continues to play tomorrow then NZ can forget this match too.
It is time to create a new email addres and start using exchanges that are anonymous. From 1st of July the government will be collecting 1% TDS on both local and international exchanges that are operating in Indian. What does the law on TDS on VDA, crypto say? The tax is required to be deducted at the time of credit of amount or at the time of payment to the resident individual, whichever is earlier. England tries to keep New Zealand under pressure from the start. Broad, in particular, took two wickets easily which limited the opponent's run. A total of 5 wickets have fallen so far but New Zealand have got an attempt to turn around. Daryl Mitchell, Tom Blundell are doing great. A competitive match is expected.
If England's bowlers can't pick up Mitchel and Blundell's two wickets early in the second day, then New Zealand will be able to collect 350 or 400 runs. Apart from these two batsmen, there is no other experienced batsman in the New Zealand squad now. If England can't take all the wickets in the first session then maybe we will see New Zealand dominate in today's match too. Only these two have consistently performed throughout the test series. If they both get out in the first session then it would be difficult for the NZ to even score 300 runs. Again a disappointing performance by the NZ batters. One of the biggest example of bad luck was Nicholls getting out yesterday. New Zealand was pushed at the beginning of the second day. They lost Tom Blundell's wicket. Blundell returned to the dressing room after collecting 55 runs. Daryl Mitchel is still at the crease with 82 runs. As long as he stays at the crease, New Zealand's big collection hopes will survive. New Zealand scored 256 runs. Probably their innings could end in 320. Mitchell is now focused on getting his 100. I think he might start going after the bowlers after his century. NZ has already lost 7 wickets and are on 282 runs. Again a very agressive bowling by the English side. I hope NZ is able to cross the 350 runs barrier as I think this will be a tough for the English team to chase that target.
The current situation of COVID19 is not that bad yet not that good. I understand there will be many hurdles but if BCCI wants to increase its revenue kitty then they need to consider such options. They are planning to increase IPL duration and by June the monsoon does reach Maharashtra so it will in their best interest.
They don't really need to increase their revenue through retractable roofs because they are swimming in money these days thanks to the recent IPL rights record amounts which is their primary focus these days. Why do you think they haven't decided to add retractable roofs even though IPL has been running for more than a decade? Think about it. In past BCCI was full of corrupt, political members who were busy filling their pockets. Now the situation has changed a lot and with Sourav Ganguly as the president you can expect development. They are now trying to compete with EPL revenue as per Sourav Ganguly. He also has hinted that they will be evaluating the infrastructure which means that they might be working or are planning to improve the stadium condition. I hope they are looking into retractable roofs also.
The third and the final test between England and Newzealand has started. Newzealand won the toss and choose to bat first. They have already lost both their openers and have scored only 39 runs at the moment. Not a good start for Newzealand. This is a crucial match for the test world cup champions if they lose this match then this series will be a whitewash.
BCCI is not worried about this series. They are a board rich enough. And recently they got a huge amount of money from IPL. So even if BCCI does not gain financially in this series, it will not face any loss. However, it is very important for PCB. I would be happy if Pakistan vs India series will be held. Because we have not had the good fortune to watch such a series for a long time. While the Pakistan board is keen to play this series, I am not sure if BCCI will be interested in hosting this series.
Most of the time I read here peoples talk about rich BCCI, and they never have any problem with financial but no one talk about PCB is also going in better shape recently they are increasing salaries and also having some better things as well in Pakistan cricket. BCCI having very good and luxurious media contracts is good, but it does not mean others are having nothing they are also improving quality and other facilities which are working for them, and they are also having some good media rights for PSL which is now giving good profit to franchise and PCB. Even facing some issues which need some time to settle, but surely things could be in positive way for them and their game with recent Australian tour now England is also on way for tour after T-20 world cup surely it's going to be big change for them in domestic and International market. You cannot compare BCCI to any other boards. Every board is doing something good for its players and it's staff but what BCCI is doing is beyond the expectations and reach of other boards. You cannot ignore BCCI when you are discussing about cricket as they are to an extent controlling the ICC. None of the other cricket board have that kind of power or money at the moment.
It won't be an easy task but convincing of the amount of revenue such stadium will generate might make th state government and the state board agree. If I am correct you can construct retractable celing on an existing stadium. Therefore no need to construct a new one.
It is close to impossible currently to convince the government due to post-COVID economic issues. Also, they stand to lose hefty profits because of retractable roofs which is another reason why they won't agree. Also, adding a retractable roof to an existing stadium is definitely possible, but it still requires crazy levels of effort, time and money which is why corrupt BCCI won't agree. The current situation of COVID19 is not that bad yet not that good. I understand there will be many hurdles but if BCCI wants to increase its revenue kitty then they need to consider such options. Netherland improved their batting and set a target of 244 in the last match which little better than previous match. Netherland all out at 244 as batting collapse happened, I can't imagine they went 203/3 to 244 all out. No wonder England will chase the total easily in a dominant way, so Netherland will be white-washed this ODI series.
It's a good change from England and this give them amazing result in shape of 3 - 0 even it's against minor Netherlands but good start for them after having too many problems on and off the field. In this series their batting lineup completely destroy Netherlands bowling attack and never allow them for having any positive response, all top order batsmen done very good batting with few hundreds which are going to help them in near future. Now Morgan is some concern for them as he completely fails to give any positive stand in two matches and out on figure of 0 and they are going to another minor country for more practice matches which is going to help them before having big challenge in future against quality teams. Netherlands did improve their batting but honestly, it is absolutely nothing in front of England. England reached the target of 245 in just 30 overs. All knew that this was not going to be a fair competition, to be honest. But it was good to see that Netherlands at least tried to give a competition to England. I have to say as an associate country they did really well. They could not win a single match but their performance was quite good. You cannot expect a team to suddenly start performing well. Netherland were playing against England and in the past they have defeated the English side but that was a different format and a different team. At the moment they need more such games to improve themselves. I skipped all the matches as I knew there would hardly be any excitement watching them play.
BCCI can't do anything on this matter, unless State board along with States comes with the solution, which i highly doubt it because our existing stadiums are in bad shapes and state boards are not even interested in fixing such issue so i'm not expecting anything drastic. Then there is also sustainability situation, in current situation it's not possible at all.
IPL fixtures could change that but for this IPL need to have big window like 4-5 months so that expensive (retractable) stadiums could get at least 20-25 home matches to even break even price. Not that sure about the sustainability. Having retractable roofs would ensure matches during the monsoon season, and it can bring tons of revenue to the BCCI. With the IPL media rights going up by 3-4 times every 5 years, I don't think that the authorities need to worry about the ROI. For example, the washed out 5th T20I against South Africa could have been saved, if it was played in a stadium with such a facility. BTW, when was the last time we had cricket matches in stadiums with retractable roof? I remember a few matches two decades back in Australia. Yes, having retractable roof is a good solution and to BCCI should first convince the government of Maharashtra as their head office is located in Mumbai. It won't be an easy task but convincing of the amount of revenue such stadium will generate might make th state government and the state board agree. If I am correct you can construct retractable celing on an existing stadium. Therefore no need to construct a new one.
If those silly run outs didn't happened then I am sure Srilanka would have scored more than 258 runs. Again the complete match was dominated by the Srilankan spinners. I pity David Warner got stumped brilliantly for just 99 runs. Srilankan won the series against Australia and hope Australia wins the last match in this series.
^^^^ I like Border-Gavaskar Trophy better when it is played in Australia. Nowadays India just dominates test matches that are played at home, irrespective of the opponent. When the series is played in the Southern hemisphere, it becomes more entertaining and competitive. I like Ashes, notwithstanding which country is hosting the series. The Trans-Tasman Trophy is another enjoyable test series, partly due to all the bad blood which exists between both the sides that take part in it. But the undisputed champion is India vs Pakistan test series, which in all probability will not take place for the next two decades.
Nothing comes before the Indian vs Pakistan series on any format. The amount of enthusiasm and uncertainty that comes on my mind by just imagining a game between the two arch rival is unimaginable. The only hope now left to watch these two countries play will be in an ICC trophy.
In my opinion it will trade between the range of 18k to 20k for quiet sometime now. I think this is because of uncertainty, as their can be a global economy depression like the one we hand in 2008. The thing is that we all thought that Bitcoin will not get affected by the world economy but the truth is it does.
This person shouldn't have done this, because he himself knew well it is not his money. He hasn't won any jackpot or something like that. All are people's money, we don't know how many families are suffering just because they hadn't received the funds on time. Anyhow this has happened, now it is time for the banking authority to just make way for all the beneficiaries to receive the funds.
This man might be a gamble addict or a criminal. I said he might be a gamble addict because he used the the entire money on gambling. He never thought of investing the money or using it for other expenses but gambling was his option. He might be a criminal because he understood that the fund was for persons that Covid-19 pandemic has affected negatively. If he was a law-abiding citizen he would have reported to the government or the agencies concerned because the fund is not his. But because of his criminal mindset, he decided to steal the money. Its a shame that sincere and trusted people are becoming few in our society. I am sure that many people would do the same thing this man did. I do not think he is a criminal and I cannot comment whether he was a gambling addict as nothing as such has been mentioned on the article. Whatever he did was wrong and he needs to now pay that money back. He should have reported about the money that he had recieved in his bank account to the authority rather spending it like this.
