Anything can happen in cricket yesterday this match was heading towards a draw but in just a day the game went in favor of Srilanka. I did not see the whole match as I had a few presumptions earlier and did not have the time to watch the match. I will be waiting for the highlights to come out then only I would be able to understand what went wrong with Australia.

SL's spinners now have the chance to win this game for the team. Australia will either draw the match or lose it. From here, only two options remain. From nowhere to this one of the best win for Sri Lanka is having great impact on their game and future specially series against Pakistan because just yesterday we were talking they have no chance to win or even draw but right now they won by an inning is amazing effort from all team specially from Chandimal double century and Prabath Jayasuriya's debut figures are 12/177 is going to be memorable for this young man.

Today in second inning wicket was surely not playable for batsmen and with this Sri Lanka use their spinners amazingly which give them this win. With this win now they are having confidence against Pakistan and this could be going to be helpful for them to have few more important WTC points.

Prabath Jayasuriya took 12 wickets in the test match, and 6 wickets in each innings and that changed the momentum of this match.

I was thinking that a lot of people would have blindly betted on Australia as they were clear favorites before the test match and all of them would have lost today. Anyone here bet on this match ?

Despite Australia's excellent response, Jayasuriya's bowling figures were incredible! I am impressed with the performance that tied the series with the win of the test match. For the hosts, it was a memorable victory. This is a very happy sight to see Sri Lanka playing like this. It is my hope that Sri Lanka will continue to play such great cricket. Sri Lankans put on a fantastic all-round performance in both innings thanks to Jayasuriya's bowling. Once again, Sri Lankan cricket should be on the rise.

Anything can happen in cricket yesterday this match was heading towards a draw but in just a day the game went in favor of Srilanka. I did not see the whole match as I had a few presumptions earlier and did not have the time to watch the match. There is no doubt recently we have some very entertaining test matches which is good signal for fans because this format needs some good entertainment for staying into touch with global fans. Same story as we have in England vs India first three days dominating by India and then suddenly England steals the show and win match here same happen first three days Australia were in control but suddenly a very timely knock from Chandimal change the game momentum and in last two sessions Sri Lanka won the match without any trouble by big margin of an inning and 39 runs.

I know that the wicket seems to have changed drastically but it was not something where Australia was supposed to get out for only 150 runs. Australia could score a lot more if they had hung on to their wickets. But Australia certainly failed to do that and I have to give credit where credit is due. Sri Lanka did really well in both batting and bowling in this match. Impressive performance from Sri Lanka to win against Australia With the difference of an innings and 39 runs. It was quite a surprise for me to be honest because I did not think Australia is going to lose like that. The bowling of Sri Lanka was really good.

I did not expect this type of performance from Australia in the second innings, to be honest. It was a disaster for Australia. They should never have been out for only 150 runs. There were 39 runs separating the two teams by an inning. It was a really good chance for Australia to win against Sri Lanka and get a series win. However, I have to say that Australia missed out on that opportunity. Probably Australia did not take it seriously enough. The team paid the price because it was not a wicket on which they could easily get out. Because this is the same pitch where Australia and Sri Lanka both made quite significant runs.

I believe that most of the bettors had placed their bets on Australia team to win. Sri Lankans team has showed quite good performance in this whole series. It will give them some positive hope against Pakistan in their upcoming series. Chandimal is well experienced players. He played a great innings. But the bowling figure of Prabath Jayasuriya has surprised me. Because, it was his debut match in test!

It is difficult to believe that Sri Lanka will be able to collect 554 runs in an innings. But the Sri Lankan players have made this impossible task possible. Everyone was amazed at their performance. At the same time, the Sri Lankan bowlers showed unprecedented performance in the second innings. Parabath Jayasuriya's performance in particular surprised everyone. He was able to take 6 wickets. However, I would say that every player in the team has been able to contribute well to this incredible victory of Sri Lanka.

But, he achieves this milestone and give his team a historical win with few crucial WTC points with the help of this win now they are third in table and now Australia is having second spot with first is belonged to South Africa which is also going to lose this as they have two tough challenges in coming days first against England in England and then second against Australia in Australia now table and situation both are very interesting.

Have said earlier that England is going to play spoiler role in this WTC cycle and they did exactly same so far. India lost 2 more points due to slow over rates, this is going to hurt team India's ambitions in this cycle. Now England next target would be South Africa.

Sri Lankan are in shambles so not expecting much from them against Aussie, hope they surprise us in a next game. Pakistan is in sweet spot as they are only playing in the subcontinent, this would be their best chance to grab more points if they want to play finals.

Recent success of Sri lanka made a fine change in WTC point table, this was an excellent comeback from the Lankans. Point table is now looking tightly contested, their next series is against Pakistan and both teams would like to whitewash their opponent as their fortune depends on it.

Actually, Sri Lanka has played really well. Australia was done batting,  Sri Lanka came out and batted really well. They took a very good and healthy lead. And I have to say luck was favoring Sri Lanka in this match. As soon as Sri Lanka came out to bowl, the pitch has become a bowling-friendly pitch by then. And Sri Lanka to all the advantage that they could from the pitch. 

But still, Australia should not have been allowed for only 150. They could have done better. It was really amazing to see how the spinners have dominated in this test series. Finally the series and in a draw,1-1.  amazing performance from Sri Lanka even though they have not been in the best of situation in their own country right now.

Pakistan is not known for the spin bowlers that they produce. Rather, the entire Pakistani team and overall Pakistan as a country is known for the fast bowlers that they produce.

So, I don't see how Pakistan could have troubled Australia so much with spin bowling tracks. And I believe if Pakistan did prepare fast bowling tracks, the test series could have been a lot more interesting. This is because both teams have capable fast bowlers who could have effectively utilized the tracks. And I think that the Australian bowlers did not do too much wrong. I think that track just got a lot more bowling friendly as the test match progressed.
