I am seeing a pattern in these triangles, the angles are very telling on each, they point to $180. We are massively overvalued right now.

Ha ha ha!

You can tell the bears are getting panicky when all the triangles come out!  Pythagoras must be rolling in his grave!

Here is an obscenely bullish desktop wallpaper (for usage as pr0n substitute), concentrating at this multiple times a day for 2 minutes each time will release endorphins and convert every bear into a bull after long enough exposure. I have made it 1024*768 for old laptops, I can make higher resolutions too.  Grin

What tool did you get it with`?
This!!! IT'S MAGIC!!! Grin

Just tried it. Threw a remote desktop app called AmmyyAdmin in windows\system32. I'm connected. Smiley
Seen to have lost admin rights when I booted up though...

The admin issue is not a problem. You can mount it offline and see if you can change/reset Admin pass with an offline utility. As for myself; It seems I have a corrupted image then... I can't get another explanation.  Is there a direct link you can trust?

EDIT: I found the latest Gandalf's iso (November 2013 I think) and downloaded it; I will investigate later.

I did some progress. I have used RealVNC off my USB stick and managed to have remote access to the machine. I have done everything you said above, but it's not possible to alter the SPECIFIC wim file of the this release. I guess I have to build my very own. Undecided

imagex /mountrw?

I'm willing happily to cooperate with the OP here if he wants to. I am working outside the wim file for now (added some portable apps I need and RealVNC as previously stated). Unfortunately NO mounting tool is able to read/write this wim file. Imagex has it mounted but system asks formatting it reading is as "bad disk". No clues there. Have you been able to mount it yourself and/or alter stuff inside?

It's the same boat. Both parts (traders or not) are in for the greater profit (either in BTC and/or fiat). No need to be angry if you are into one category or the other... Both have got our positions you (traders) and I (hodler)... Grin

Physicist, what are you doing on the forum at 11 before noon? Go back to your field equations or Fourier transforms or whatever it is you physics kids do these days! Tongue

I always enjoy pausing and troll you a bit in here. It gives us HODLERS a great pleasure. Grin

Bitcoin/USD volatility has been decreasing continuously since it began trading, there is no reason to think this trend is going to change while the rate of adoption remains approximately constant.

The bigger the mass the larger the inertia, simple as that really. It is much easier to get 10,000 people to panic simultaneously than 100,000 ... it is why fiat fractional reserve can work with the popular delusion that your money is safe in the bank, when in fact it doesn't exist in there at all and at best only 10% is ever available for redemption (actually more like 8.7% with the latest Basel rules).

As Bitcoin holders being to number in the millions to tens of millions that "10% panic" number becomes at least a million ... everyone bitching about greedy big btc holders, these are the guys holding steady in face of extreme skepticism/negativism since day zero making this thing work for the ungrateful, skittery, day tarders.

I've been here since before $1.  You're not going to convince me by telling me to look at the charts.  I saw them as they happened.  If you want to gamble, be my guest.  But if you advertise it as a sure thing, I will call you out.

Lets revisit this and see who is right . To qoute me Selling now at $950  with re-buy set at $760 (-20%)

Meaning even though Im bullish I recognize $760 WILL be revisited before going back up. Increasing my BTC holding 20%, Lets revisit this in a Month (if not sooner) and see how it plays out shall we.

I'm not disagreeing that it might go down.  I'm disagreeing that it will go down with 100% certainty.  Giving it a month won't prove anything about my position no matter what happens.

Please design a scenario in which your position will be proven false.

My position is that nobody can predict the future with 100% certainty.  If you disagree, you need to prove that someone can predict the future with 100% certainty.  Good luck.

This! Plain and simple. You might be a master in econometrics or having a PhD degree in economics. It's irrelevant. There's no 100% possibility of predicting the next phase of a DCS. And there's proof. For all you noobs out there, please take some time to read this article here:

Hey thanks for this. Worked like a charm on my 5970. I'd like to be able to automate more stuff though. Is there a way to alter the wim file? Never done this before and (apart from mining) there are great possibilities regarding such a usb based thing (Tor implementation, wallet intergration etc).

Deep packet inspection by ISPs has been going on for at least a decade.  They never needed priority as an excuse.  But keep on cheering for more centralized control of our networks.

Would be nice if this pushes the entire internet to serve all content over TLS... however unlikely.

I'm concerned. You should be concerned too. WE ALL should be concerned. As Nick Colas stated here: http://www.cnbc.com/id/101298888

Quote
7. Bitcoin is untraceable

Bitcoin transactions happen online. Enough said. (Though Colas does offer: "If you think anything you do online is secret, I can't help you.")

I have ways to anonymize myself, I'd say it's a profound and wise thing to do, when dealing with money. Try A LOT of money you might (or might not) have within a few years *IF* bitcoin goes up or down respectively.
I have been investigating this since some time in 2012 to be honest. I came up with a solution that covers both encryption and anonymity via Vidalia (Tor protocol). Imagine an app that's able to run anonymously an instance of BitcoinQT that derives its connections through Tor protocol. Yeah; it's not perfect but it is SOMETHING when you need instant backup of your cold wallet and don't want to be traced.

If you need help I can also provide the code and package (provided you are entrusting a stranger's app from the net to sync your wallet.dat).  Grin

We ALL should pay attention on what governments say and entrust our life savings in bonds, fiat and ETFs bidding on leveraged home loans. We also should never get ourselves here again to begin with. BITCOIN IS BAD! YOU HEAR? BAD!!!

Now turn over the other shoulder, you've just started snoring and woke me up; thank you.... Grin

I personally follow and post here the UPDATED 5 rules of success for you:

1. Don't get emotional from other's people thoughts.
2. Not everyone here is a "nice person" you can trust.
3. IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO, DON'T TRADE.
4. HODL!!!
5. Until you desperately need the money follow rule #4.

Good Luck!
