If the government knows about bitcoin transaction in our country, maybe something worst will happen. We all know that government has the power to do what they want and to do what they think is right. Maybe they will implement taxes to all who used bitcoin. The other case is if they don't want the Bitcoin be legalized in their territory, then it will be banned for sure. There are lots of government can do to control once they know about it.
They can't implement taxes on Bitcoin. At least not in a way that gives them the power to just take your money. That's something that was possible with bank accounts, but that's about to change.

I remember having lot of fun watching people burn millions of doge at dogedice in 2013/14, like 1 or 2 million of them for each bet.
How many of them do you think are filled with regret now?

For sure all of us are now suprise to the bitcoin price because it's already 19k dollars and for sure maybe after few hours it will reach 20k dollars. I hope many investor will invest to bitcoin so the price will increase more and we can get a lot of money after we sell. But as of now better to buy and hold bitcoin for the future. I hope I suprise again to the price of bitcoin.
There'll be a lot of surprises, both positive and negative (especially for ATH buyers).

I like this idea of progression. So perhaps, each of us are starting at a different place on the spectrum, and perhaps bitcoin can assist us to move up on the spectrum, depending upon how much we have been able to accumulate and how good we are at HODL.
So maybe I will put these in a slightly different order than you, AlcoHoDL.....
So here it is, perhaps 12 levels could accommodate most of us and show some progression in our financial well-being (especially if we did the right thing in regards to buying, accumulating and hodling bitcoin):
First we start at:
1) supported by the parents
2) living paycheck to paycheck,
3) having a bit of a reserve and using that reserve to invest in bitcoin
4) getting by with a cushion
5) comfortable
6) sassy and splurging a bit
7) well off
8) moderately rich
9) rich
10) wealthy
11) this is gentlemen
12) filthy rich
Can we quantify these levels? ;) There's a "Don't use smileys." additional option(s...) by the way.

Hello guys, I am looking to invest some money into an alt coin that will give me short-term profits over the next weeks! Any suggestions? Thank you Ethereum blue all the way. It is a pretty nnice coin with some great ideologies. It has great features, and pretty good standing as of now. Increases and decreases. It can really be a good token for trading and riding along pumps. But it can also be a good long term investment. So it is your choice if you wanna do it long term or short term. If it had great "ideologies" (ideas/technologies?) it wouldn't have to mooch the Ethereum brand.

Trading with stocks was popular and profitable at past but now a days it is not so much popular and nearly almost unprofitable. For that reason, people who trade with stocks are transferring to invest into crypto. Investing on crypto is being more popular day by day because of its useful activities. This is also true that investing on both sides is so much difficult. If you want to invest into crypto you need to have great skills at trading and sharp mind. Crypto is developing day by day is the main cause of its success and will more successful at future.
Stocks are still highly profitable and some of the most traded assets in the world. Crypto is a wet fart in the wind compared to the global stock market... at least for now.

Holding bitkoyna during the period of growth of its value, this, in my opinion, is quite logical and there is no manifestation of some greed. If during the period of a sharp rise in price of bitcoins to sell bitcoins, this will not be a sign of generosity, but a sign of stupidity.
I wish someone was generous enough to sell me some more discounted bitcoins.

Well , what will the world be like in 100 years ? I think we are still here in our own planet but we have a lots of modern technology which we can use with our work for us to be easily finish our job . All of the people are disciplined and there’s no people are poor .
People thought the same for decades, but somehow most people still end up working all day and having little to no free time. Hopefully AI will finally change that.

These stories make me feel glad that my laziness and frugal lifestyle make unemployment completely irrelevant. I do splurge every now and then, but I'm mostly content with just the internet for entertainment. Once I can just buy at least a squarekilometre of land and set up an OTG mansion on it with some live-in cooks/maids without even caring about that kind of sum I'll probably do it though. In the meantime living small and traveling/eating big is good enough.

Thats also my plan. All this has a bittersweet taste for me; because I got into bitcoin just 1 week before i registered here.. more than 6 years since that time when i got my first coins, and almost everything got wrong.. but im still kicking and hoping for better times Ouch, I think some people here, like Arklan, also started in 2011 and supposedly end up with barely anything. But like Rosewater said, if Andreas Antonopoulos can end up with almost no bitcoin and only recently become debt free, then any bitcoiners can end up making wrong calls that eventually see most of their paper wealth to evaporate (and that includes even the current semi-billionaire such as Roger Ver). How do you wipe out your paper money? Did he not keep enough to maintain his lifestyle stashed away in secure assets and went on a reckless spending spree? in my case, longterm under/unemployment and selling my btc before the 2013 spike... and lots of dumb choices. Ah I see, tough luck. Hope things are better now at least.

It even has the typos... what attention to detail, wow. Locking myself out makes me more paranoid than hackers to be honest.
Locking myself out used to be a concern of mine too. So I would never do the 2FA. What turned me off to 2FA was way back in the Paycoin scam. I was using Authy and somehow, GAW let something expire so I couldn't get the Authy to work to access their page to collect my meager 5 XPY. I eventually did figure out how to get it to work with Google Authenticator. After that, I never bothered. However, this year, as my meager holdings gained more value, I began to start using the 2FA again. My holdings may not be worth much, but it would be rather difficult to shrug off a theft of them. Even .005 BTC would smart. I'm using Google's 2FA, but the amount of passwords and accounts that I use is getting out of hand as well. Damn limits.

I loaded up on Strat too. It's BTC movement has been sideways for too long to not break out soon.

I am not sure the bitcoin cash can be beat of bitcoin. Bitcoin cash is altcoins and no altcoins can be replace bitcoin in the future.
There's no realistic scenario in which lolBCash could overtake Bitcoin right now. Exactly, there is bitcoin for many years more!! Good for you to get into investments at such a young age. I was still playing MMOs 20 hours a day. Best of luck to you!

Rules and patterns are not always going to turn up as we might have planned them. Managing losses is an easy thing to say, but very very difficult to follow as we are only human. Therefore, trading might not be for everyone, but long-term investing can be.
You are correct - long term investing with god quality altcoins is really almost good to all but day trade can be very stressful and it is not really advisable and won't work to all. Swing trading on the other hand is something that is more relaxed and could up your investment profits. I wouldn't use my whole portfolio for that though.

No idea! I got a pretty decent connection, but i'm positive that loading up 3+ years of dogeblocks will take some time lmao.
I would recommend torrenting the blockchain, but I don't know how many coins you have so that might not be worth the security risk.

Cryptokitties peaked at only 7 transactions per second though... Waves can do over 100 per second and can easily scale to 1000. Ethereum seriously needs to fix this if it wants to stay relevant.
