2801  Economy / Collectibles / Re: WTS Russian Icons on: January 23, 2017, 08:42:52 PM
I'm confused and believe a little more context is needed.  What are "Russian Icons"?

Stalin?
Lenin?
Putin?

This topic has my interest.

you got it all wrong

it's like this

Elizaveta
Kristina
Marina
Gina Gerson
Victoria

 Roll Eyes

I had to google some names there and Gina Gerson headed me over to xhamster... that really is an icon.

So these are all "artists" with gina gerson being the only adult entertainment star
2802  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [INTEREST CHECK] My own 1 OZ silver coin on: January 23, 2017, 08:41:14 PM
cutting the holo will cut the PVT Key wont it?

How would cutting the holo affect the private key? The private key would be the little piece of paper that goes into the black spot, while the hologram is going to be used to cover it

who designed this coin? Not bad if a new designer .

Better not make front and back identical.

Good Luck OP in this new project.

I designed it..

If I didn't have the front and back identical than it would have added $15 per set in costs so it was not worth it to me.

If these 30 coins sell out in 30 days I can do this all again, and sell another set for the same price with a different back and this same front.
2803  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [INTEREST CHECK] My own 1 OZ silver coin on: January 23, 2017, 08:29:07 PM

The hologram would go over the black spot, because the black spot just represents an indention where you would put the private key.

So you have to stick the hologram on top of the face of the coin? It's off center and you'll cover the 'design' with the hologram. Also, why doesn't the design say '.999 silver' or something similar?

Judging by my rough calculations, I think the black spot is 8mm so if the hologram is positioned right, I do not think it will cover the B and if it does, only alittle amount.

The smallest the letters could be is 1mm and I couldn't find a good spot to put it.

edit: I could cut the holograms to fit if need be.

edit: I am also thinking about getting the holograms laser engraved to match the front serial number but that would increase the cost.
2804  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [INTEREST CHECK] My own 1 OZ silver coin on: January 23, 2017, 08:20:19 PM
sorry im not too good working with such small measurements - but.. isn't that unrealistically small rimjob?

Im not too sure what you are asking?

It is a standard size 1 OZ silver coin.

I think those are ugly. no offence.

The design will be stamped so I did not want to make it too detailed for fear that it would not come out looking right.

The coins are 39mm.

I think the stock hologram will be too big and won't really look "right" on the coin. But since when are DIY coins actually loaded?

I think the stock holograms are usually at least 15x15 mm in size, which will cover the "B" logo, if one were to load the coin.

Is it possible for you to use this design on the front and provide a place to put the hologram on the back side?

I think most people load their DIY coins with the face value of the same. (I do) Smiley

The one I want to use it in the OP now, it is a square and is 10x10mm it might just cover the B but I do not think I will get them any smaller.

These coins do not even say they are silver on them nor do they have a face value
2805  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [INTEREST CHECK] My own 1 OZ silver coin on: January 23, 2017, 08:01:57 PM
The hologram would go on one of the sides, and over the little black spot because that would be the indentation for it.

What are the dimensions of these coins?
Wouldn't the little black spot be too "little" for the hologram?

The coins are 39mm.

I haven't figured out what stock hologram I am going to go with yet.

But I do not think so.

I think the stock hologram will be too big and won't really look "right" on the coin. But since when are DIY coins actually loaded?

if I was to do a custom hologram, I guess something small to cover the black spot and not go over the B would be my only option.

cool on navy, my daughter starts officer training in a few months..

but back to coin business rimjob - where does the Holo go?

The hologram would go over the black spot, because the black spot just represents an indention where you would put the private key.
2806  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [INTEREST CHECK] My own 1 OZ silver coin on: January 23, 2017, 07:51:40 PM
What are the finishes?

Will they be real silver or "silver colored" (we will check)

Where dafuq does the hologram go if you have the same design on both sides?

A matte silver and a shiny silver

It will be real

The hologram would go on one of the sides, and over the little black spot because that would be the indentation for it.

I shouldn't be digging you out for the innovation,  because we need to encourage it in the community, so I am sorry -  but dude/dudette... you need more planning - I thought you were off to the army in 2 weeks anyway?

Navy, and I thought I was they asked me if I wanted to take a job leaving in February but nothing ever came of it so I guess I gotta wait till my original date of august

Interested but wondering if you'll have the physical coins in hand before taking payment for reservations?

I dont plan on setting up escrow to take the payment until all the orders and auctions are done so I only have to go to the post office once and ship them out all at the same time. But if this isnt possible, than Ill be accepting escrow once I have the finished coins in my hand.

Congratulations on your first coin release. Smiley
Is the rate of $70 fixed?

As that is a lot for an unloaded/unload-able coin.

Watching.

Yes the rate of $70 is fixed, I do not think that is much for 2 one ounce silver coins.
2807  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [INTEREST CHECK] My own 1 OZ silver coin on: January 23, 2017, 07:22:38 PM
is this a joke?

No it is not a joke, you even knew that I was doing this.

Well done sir! These look amazing. They remind me a bit of the bitcoinpenny, that's cool.

What's the material for these coins? Silver/Copper/Brass/Plastic/Wood?

Might be placing an order, good luck with sales!

Each coin is 1 OZ silver. I updated the OP with that too.

Too similar to https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=794678 I think

For now, I'll reserve #8

That was not my intention if I would have known about that design I would have made my different,, I just put my initials on the coin. Ill update the OP with that note
2808  Economy / Collectibles / [SELLING] 1 OZ silver coin IN STOCK on: January 23, 2017, 07:09:17 PM

The design is overly simple and will feature the same design on the front and the back

Each set contains 2 coins
There will be two different finishes, one coin will be 1oz Silver Matte finish, and the second one will be 1oz Silver Shiny finish.
The engraved numbers will be from 1-15
Will come in an airtight
The design will be stamped into the coin
TRUSTED ESCROW WILL BE USED,

A non-custom holog ram will be provided however, if this is successful and I order a custom hologram all of my past coins will be eligible for 1 if the user pays for shipping.

As there is no spot for a hologram, because of David hornby of magtraonics error the non custom hologram will not be provided, however assuming this series sells out, each customer will be able to get my custom holograms (a few per coin) which will be made after series 3 and before series 4 for the price of a postage stamp

2809  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [Auction] OgNasty 1oz Silver Game-themed series UNIQUE coin wallet: Tetris on: January 23, 2017, 03:27:59 AM
What kind of finish is the coin itself? It looks rough in the pictures
2810  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] MS-68 brass 0.5BTC Casascius on: January 23, 2017, 12:03:29 AM
These coins  were selled blanks by mike i suppose?

The only "blank" I have seen are the 5 btc brass/nickel ones....

Or if you mean "blank" as in "not loaded with bitcoin", all Casascius coins came loaded AFAIK... Huh

What about the bearer bond bar type ones and those 20 1k btc golds
2811  Economy / Collectibles / Re: casascius brass coin error 1btc on: January 21, 2017, 03:50:34 PM
still for sale. just the error coin
the last error went for 1.5BTC or so - how much movement in price do you have?

Not to be technically but it went for 1.62 and it was an auction, and there are a few searchable threads up where errors are selling/asking for 3k in btc at the time they are asking.

2812  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lost $25,000 AUD in one fucking day on: January 20, 2017, 08:52:22 PM
I wouldnt take it as you lost 25k, I would take it that you lost your intial investment of .05 btc. Because two weeks ago you did not have the 25k. Its not like you took 25k deposited it, and bet with a 90% chance to win and lost. You took .05 and did the impossible and than lost because you got greedy
2813  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 0.05 btc to 0.52btc to 12 BTC to 15 BTC to 17.5 BTC [BUSTED] on: January 20, 2017, 08:45:26 PM
-snip-
Wow you're so lucky man Congrats to you, can you give me some tips or strategies to win thanks.
He was very lucky in 2 days ago, turned 0.05 btc into 17.5 btc just in 2 days. If you read some of people's and OP post on above you will know how he made it. but sadly, today he was so unlucky and lost all of his winnings

Its crazy that he dumped it all back. Woulda been a better bet putting it into litecoin.  Cheesy

I am more interested in the kind of bets you had to make to return a 35000% return if I did my math correctly. That is crazy that you did not withdrawl and of it, but at least you had fun
2814  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 16x win on BitcoinBetting.website with 0% House Edge! on: January 20, 2017, 08:37:47 PM

Are you really saying you're not just advertising the site? lol. Sure looks like it to me. Seem pretty active in showing
the winning rolls.
Besides, that win doesn't really say much. The 'guy' could have a lost $100's if not $1000's before that 'winning' bet.
Same as after.

And yep, would probably need a sizable bankroll to increase win chance.

What does it matter how much they lost before winning? OP isn't saying that player as a postive bankroll, they are just saying that they won big there. What is the problem with that?

Are the odds just so bad that the house doesnt need an edge? What is the sites total bankroll, and at what amount if a withdrawal manual?
2815  Economy / Collectibles / Re: ★ Digis Coin Emporium ★ -= Microsoul, Ravenbit, Sol Noctis, Gox Coins =- on: January 20, 2017, 07:38:28 PM
BTCump, all Lealana Brass Unfunded and the Ravenbit Brass Green Label have been sold.  First post has been fully updated.

Would you be interested in trades at all? I am interested in that OG seat, but I feel like it is a little over-priced. I would wanna trade you my OG 1 OZ silver seat+btc for yours.

Do you have the case for the Sol Noctis can I buy that?
2816  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Celebrate bitcoin today by getting your own Make Bitcoin Great Again Hat! on: January 20, 2017, 07:00:32 PM
What!? your kidding right? a cap that is 0.03 BTC for now it is $ 26.91 dollar I don't think anyone would have an interest with your cap but I think it is cool by making a statement to make bitcoin great again, but I think this should be in the other section and not in the discussion, and I truly laugh when you had said that this cap Looks great with hoodies!

I could dig through this section or another, I am 100% sure this is at least the second thread about these but I think its like .03 for the hat and then .02 for shipping to the USA.

It was pointed out that you can make the same hat for a much cheaper price, and just not have the BTCC logo on the back

2818  Other / Politics & Society / Re: No Pardon for Ross Ulbricht on: January 19, 2017, 01:16:38 AM
Well Ross made a crime and he should suffer in jail. Its not the presidents of America why he is in jail, it is his own actions that led him to be placed in jail. If he did not make any illegal and illicit activities then he would be in jail in the first place. Also maybe the reason why he was not given a presidential pardon was he did not play as a good man in the penitentiary.
It's not about him being a good boy or not. When you are sentenced for life you can be the nicest inmate in the world and it won't matter.
IMO his sentence should be reduced. Yes, he did something illegal, but he hasn't killed anyone, he just created a market site. Killers and rapists are usually sentenced for 5-10 years. I've seen pedophile murderers, who raped and killed a child, sentenced only to 25 years, and this guy gets life? This has nothing to do with justice.

What about that swimmer who got 3 months? The judge stepped down and everything if I remember correctly. This case was just too high profile which deemed the sentence. He needed to be made an example of.
2819  Other / Meta / Re: Who will be the first user to reach 10,010 activity? on: January 18, 2017, 04:54:09 PM
Hopefully by the time users 10k activity, the price of bitcoin is over 10k

I plan to be here till the site is no more, but I have a long way to go to 1k activity let alone 10k

I can't beleive that nobody can see this is from 2010. But the OP is not looking for a site because it is finished and can be seen at
