2801  Other / Meta / Please remove hyperlink and image code in Private messages. on: June 13, 2013, 07:14:15 PM
There is no use of hyperlinks and images in private messages, people use them to trick peoples to go on phishing/java drive by sites and to grab ip address etc.

I'm sure many peoples have seen a fake contest where a guy sent phishing link to over 100 members.

2802  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] Eva Braun - Trying to infect users on: June 13, 2013, 07:03:13 PM
Well you are lucky that you didn't ran that file, he should get banned for doing this.

Ps: I think hyperlink and image bb code should be disallowed in pm's, once a guy tried to trick members to go on phishing links/java driveby sites by doing fake contest and a another guy also tried to grab my ip using image lol.

2805  Other / Meta / Re: [Request to Mods] Please remove the shameless thread to increase post counts on: June 13, 2013, 06:14:29 PM
well just let it be there, at least people will know who's spammer or who's not, it will be easy to identify and ban them and it will also keep spammers away from spamming other good threads.

as for scam issue, High Post count = Trusted is old thing, on some forums (eg hackforums) you can't even trust peoples with high reputation.

So use your mind, use escrow, check members history/past and then do deal, you will be safe.

Ps: I think for new members, admin should do Force Topic Read for rules & warning thread.

2813  Economy / Services / Re: Why does this gig I've created want buyers to upload a "resume"? on: June 13, 2013, 11:12:32 AM
That's "Writing Jobs" section, so probably site owner thought to add a resume option for "writing" job seekers.

It's optional not required, but i think he should add a option to hide it.

It would be a good idea to post the website URL.

thanks for your advice.
you may visit: https://796.com

Your site says "We have used ev ssl security certificate of versign for safety, obtained norton’s safety signature, as well as added Google authenticator and our exclusive security code protection set to prevent users’ fund from illegal robbery to the greatest extent. "

But you are not using ev ssl right now and frankly your site looks copy of mtgox.
