Things are looking good for this project they started on the right foot by having a good domain name and they are funded by companies on their homepage We've raised ~2.1M with about 21% coming from awesome members of the Bitcoin Community. The only thing missing is marketing and reaching out to the Cryptocurrency community I expect them go full blast when the market is steady, unlike those ICO we are seeing in the altcoin section their team is transparent on who they are and they have the expertise behind them. |

I never heard of this wallet before but I guess this is another inside job which is why I don't use a random wallet that I never heard. And look play store or apple store they always verify the app if it's from a real developer and the bad thing is how the hacker has control of their user's wallet. It means your coins/token there is not private and they also have full control of your wallet what is the purpose of their mnemonic phrase backup if they can see and control your wallet? It is more likely a centralized wallet.
If you are one of the users of this wallet better switch to another wallet that is known and open source or better buy a hardware wallet.
The inside job is just a speculation, they have the plan to refund those users and also asked Binance to freeze the accounts of those hackers after they traced it, they should extend their investigation on where did those users download the wallet, I'm sure after this some users will transfer their wallet to another more secured custodial wallets, a new custodial wallet with issues like this will have their reputation crumble because its the second time it happens. Users will still forgive them if this is the first time. |

We are in to 2023 now and 1xbit is still showing no signs of going away any time soon. I wonder what sort of impact they will have in this forum and beyond in 2023. They will most probably run some sort if signature campaign throughout the year (and in some cases maybe even multiple campaigns) that will cause friction between members. As for the number of accusations being made against them, will remain stable, will they increase or will they decrease?
They will continue to run campaigns, multiple campaigns they already build an army of shills and promoters just waiting for them to launch their campaign, these are people who value money more than their reputation here in Bitcointalk, they cannot get in other campaigns, so they become dedicated to promoting 1XBIT campaigns, right now all the campaign are paused but expect them to kick their campaign anytime soon. This is one part of gambling that should be avoided at all costs, it's more like a quicksand you've lost control of your action I once fall into it losing almost 25k on one of the casino-based tokens in their platform, and I still fall into chasing my loss but I have full control now and only limit the amount I use for chasing my losses

Most people are not satisfied with their lives and they need some sort of hope for the future to keep going and to prevent themselves from turning into crime, falling into depression etc. However messed-up your life might be, there's still hope that buying a cheap lottery ticket could potentially turn you into a millionaire (or even a billionaire) overnight. That's a powerful tool.
But the reality is, such lotteries usually have way worse odds than any casinos or gambling sites. So, mathematically speaking, you're better off gambling your money there.

Lost my bet on this fight as the result was a majority draw, the scores were 115-113 for Franco while the other two judges give a typical 114-114 score. Have not watched the fight live, only the highlights but seeing the comments that Franco was robbed, i think they have some reason to cry because Japan is known for its hometown decision (at least for me). If you want to win in Japan, you need to KO your opponent.  I checked the highlight of the fight and the fight may be too close but there was some point that Franco is dominating Ioka it was Franco who was strong with more jabs and Ioka relied on counterpunches, the fight was too close but I have Franco winning based on my observation, this is the kind of fight where no boxers totally dominated the fight, not to disappoint the crowd because its a championship they score it a draw, but yes it's hard to fight in Japan you must totally dominate your Japanese opponent like what Nietes did or knock out your opponent. |

I don't think so, it's on the platform and the community support I invested in two casino-based tokens with APY as high as 35% and the two tokens are doing good, we should not generalize even in the bear market there are exceptions to the rules that altcoins with high APY are bad to invest, these two tokens were doing great in the bull run and they retain their momentum when the trend shifted to bear market. We should check the platform, community support, and reputation of the team, and still be wary of new tokens with high APY without a platform that has usability and can serve the community. |
