2821  Other / Meta / Re: Eliminate ban appeals, but change the perma ban at the same time. on: October 19, 2022, 01:50:50 PM
The anonymity feature enables you to easily create several accounts, even if you are banned several times without any additional costs.
If someone wants to discuss or learn, banning the account will not be a big problem.

The problem lies in joining the signature campaigns, which require starting over and waiting for more than 7 months.

So our problem is only related to the profit from the campaigns and not a problem related to the forum, such as spamming.
2822  Other / Meta / Re: I want to advertise on Bitcointalk forums on: October 19, 2022, 01:32:50 PM
What kind of budget are you thinking? I have no idea.

I think that the minimum limits is $500/week, which is represented in the following (paying 50 dollars to 10 Hero/Legendary members), and then appointing a manager will increase the expenses, but it will give better results.

You can run it for one month or two then decide if you want to continues or not (so 2K-4K.)

Generally $80 per member and 20 members i.e. $1600/week will give good results if you hire a smart manager.
2823  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Inflation and why bitcoin? on: October 15, 2022, 11:09:42 AM
What you are trying to explain is not inflation but demand effect, so your calculation will not be accurate as the time interval is optional according to the price, you did not measure based on a specific commodity and the focus ignored many aspects, so you are comparing the importance of adoption in increasing the value of Bitcoin more than the fact that Bitcoin as tool to fight inflation.

As for the reason for bitcoin's failure at the present time, it is because of the small market capacity, we are still in the early days and we need a lot of time to rise.
2824  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another opportunity is coming, a time to hold on: October 15, 2022, 09:25:16 AM
All of them are predictive models that are not accurate since the current factors are very extreme and therefore it is difficult to adopt them to start studies and future plans.
In general, I do not know how to confidently express something related to Bitcoin over the next two years, but the alarm is clearly increasing.
In addition to the most important of these is the amount of investment, will it be bold or shy?
2825  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Market Analysis Today on: October 15, 2022, 09:11:37 AM
I began to believe that all the accounts that promote Shib are either scammers or being paid, or stupid people.
No one can trust a project that was launched as a joke and then tries to convince people or invite them to invest and so on.

BTW, I did not click on the video link (so as not to increase views), and therefore this reply is based on those who viewed it above.
2826  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: List of Bitcoin Companies on: October 15, 2022, 08:54:21 AM
Hey all,

I can't believe I've waited this long to create an account here and join the forum. I can't seem to find a complete list of Bitcoin-only companies anywhere so I'd like to start one here. I'm looking to join a company and my options are limited since I don't have a developer/engineering background.

What are the skills or what you can do? We cannot help you without knowing this information because it will depend on the nature of the job you are looking for.
Most of us here are ordinary people, so if you do not have real experience, you will not earn much if you want to join these companies.

- Strike
- CoinFlip
- BitGo
- Satoshi Energy
- US Bitcoin Corp

Do these companies pay employees with Bitcoin? Or are they just regular companies that provide bitcoin services?
2827  Economy / Reputation / Re: The Latest Rule is 1 merit per week for signature campaign by yahoo62278 on: October 15, 2022, 08:45:06 AM
This board for Reputation right? It is assumed that the narration of topics to complain about something (eg: merit point every week) as long as you support the story there is no need to create a topic here, so the most appropriate place is OFFTOPIC or I forgot something. Huh

In general, I see that an account is rarely removed from a signature campaign and therefore adding such a rule will enhance the quality of posts by providing open opportunities every week.

As for misuse, the appropriate rule from my point of view will be as follows:

 - If you do not earn a merit within a week, you will not be paid.
 - If you do not earn a merit within two weeks, you will be removed, or 10 merits per month.
2828  Other / Archival / Re: What a wonderful merit overflow on: October 14, 2022, 11:16:23 AM
Most of these accounts end in deadlock because they cannot generate more merits and therefore will not be able to earn more money so the only mistake would be for the campaign manager who accepts members without merits, did not review the merit history, or at least create a new rule like you must get a single Merit every week or two.

But it is wrong to take any action regarding trust.
2829  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Every email is a scammer's target, open only if you are expecting on: October 14, 2022, 11:10:25 AM
I thought that the danger in opening the e-mail was limited and not downloading the attachments, regardless of their nature.
Personally, I blame Google because they can do more or block emails that send spam quickly or develop automated, but their profits and data collection make them not do that.

Generally, if you are not 100% sure about the sender, do not open the message.
2830  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Next meme coin to buy in 2022 on: October 14, 2022, 10:45:51 AM
In any case, do you think that the reason for the increase in the value of Dogecoin last year is because it is meme coin? The main reason is promotion and media propaganda, for example, a few days ago, thousands of perfumes were sold, nothing but tweets.

Therefore, whoever tries to convince you that investing in meme currencies is a safe investment or has future value is a fraud.
Focus on investing in a currency that has real value, not media promotion.
2831  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: self hosted crypto payment gateway (payid19.com) on: October 14, 2022, 09:49:48 AM
.

There are many crypto payment gateway options, so in a quick comparison with famous  crypto payment processors, what distinguishes your service?
Also trying to change the facts by using statements such as "When we say open source, we mean that source codes are not encrypted" is not an attractive approach to customers.

What will happen if service is hacked because of bugs, will you bear the losses or will the responsibility rest with the users?
2832  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Getting a 2nd Hardware Wallet Nano Ledger S Plus For Daily Trading? on: October 14, 2022, 09:19:17 AM
If you want to trade with amounts more than a thousand dollars, then paying less than 100 dollars to buy a wallet will not be a problem.

Hardware wallets are designed for long-term storage and therefore day trading is not a suitable option, but if you want to prepare deals according to points of support and resistance (where trading times are limited times during the week or month)

anyway 2 wallet better than one specially if you want to hodling it for more than 3 years
2833  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I need to ask this before I order for a Hardware wallet on: October 14, 2022, 09:01:01 AM
Almost most Hardware wallets (when bitcoin is supported XRP is) support Ripple, so your question should be in the comparison between these wallets more than searching for which of these wallets are safer, better priced, and other details.

As for shipping, Ledger Nano X and Nano S Plus gives free shipping limited[1] offer and you may get discounts on Black Friday.

2834  Economy / Economics / Re: Court win for worker fired for not keeping webcam on on: October 14, 2022, 08:31:05 AM
What is the difference between leaving the web cam open or having a surveillance camera in the workplace?
I understand the idiosyncrasy, but both things seem the same.
The problem lies in the attempt of many employers to take advantage of workers and interfere even in their personal affairs to enhance profits, such as controlling family visits or the number of births and others.
2835  Economy / Economics / Re: JP Morgan CEO, Jamie Dimon, another Charlie Munger? on: October 14, 2022, 08:14:47 AM
What is the problem? There is not supposed to be a consensus on a particular issue, as many people may change their views based on economic, financial, political reasons, fame and others. Therefore, even if most of the world’s population uses Bitcoin, you will find some criticizing it.

If these people mention technical information or economic analysis why the coin is “dirty” and expensive or why “I will never buy BTC” then the discussion will be substantive.
2836  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New metaverse city in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on: October 13, 2022, 11:04:21 AM
It is just speculation and plans, but the general budget was issued for the next two years and did not contain huge investments in bitcoin. Therefore, the UAE government as a country will not invest in bitcoin and metaverse, but it may be done through investment funds.

So, in short, the news is inaccurate or very optimistic.
2837  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Colorado is accepting crypto for tax payments - 2 on: October 13, 2022, 10:56:48 AM
If I had the choice to pay taxes in bitcoin or dollars, what would I choose?

It is undoubtedly good news, but if there is a choice, you will find that the majority will prefer to pay in dollars instead of bitcoin and that the government will not consider keeping the bitcoin so as not to waste tax money (it is reason enough not to vote for them)

It also allows governments to relentlessly impose taxes in exchange for a general legal cover for Bitcoin.
2838  Economy / Economics / Re: Central authority can be biased. Referring to TikTok on: October 13, 2022, 10:13:54 AM
I did not download TikTok and started reducing social media, but it is the first time that I know that TikTok provide financial services.
In general, I know some people from Syria, and some of them send money in Bitcoin, as the war stopped some time ago, the cost in Bitcoin is about 10% to 25%, meaning $100 will reach $90 to $75.

TikTok is more expensive, but they are good at advertising.
If Bitcoin is combined with TikTok, things will become better, but the company will not make profits.
2839  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Why are crypto exchanges not truthful? on: October 13, 2022, 10:00:38 AM
Ads are always misleading, but reputable companies should give good promises and not just lies, I don't know, but instead of clicking on the ad, please ask the support team or go to the terms of use to verify the information before logging in.
This is how you will deprive them of getting your data for free and you will make sure of the reliability of the platform before you get deceived by more.
2840  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin mining leads to cheaper energy, and also cheaper computation on: October 13, 2022, 09:41:03 AM

Just a thought I wanted to share with you folks.
I don't think it can contribute much, let's look at it abstractly, the capacity of the bitcoin market at the moment is far from a trillion dollars, so the amount of spending on research and development will not be like companies with several trillion dollars or mega economies.
If we reach a market capacity, for example, 10 trillion, it will be a suitable motive for research and development.

Based on this article, the volume of investment in development is $80.5 billion, how much do you think the bitcoin share will be?

Quote
Semiconductor companies worldwide are expected to increase research and development spending by 9% in 2022 to $80.5 billion after climbing by an above average 13% in 2021 to a record-high $71.4 billion, according to IC Insights' soon-to-be-released 2Q Update to The McClean Report 2022
