Not quite sure what do you mean about rotating add, but the forum ads has been suspended a while ago, so your next choice is conducting a bounty campaign (since it's altcoins). But bounties marketing aren't work these days due to poor quality, you're better to launch a signature campaign with Bitcoin payment so you could have a chance to get higher quality members especially the payout is higher than the rest campaign and long term purpose.

I guess what you are trying to say is "ads" and not "add",  but the link given above by @DireWolfM14 explains it all, because from the link, I was able to capture a statement given as below,


"In addition to the inhouse forum ads, it is common for forum users to sell ad space in their signatures. These ads are not intermediated by bitcointalk.org in any way. If you are interested in advertising in this way, it is recommended that you hire a signature manager."

But, if you happen to be new into signature campaign, here is a brief explanation. Signature Campaign is a kind of campaign just like ads, whereby members of the forum are hired to promote a given project by means of post count and been paid a given $ rate either weekly or monthly.

But for a signature campaign to be successful, 3 things are involved.
1. You have a hire a signature designer who will design a very good looking signature for your company
2.  Hire a manager who will manage your signature campaign project.
3. Hire a specific forum members base on rank to help promote your project on the forum

And you can get a good Signature designer and Manager both on the "Service" board of the forum

According to THIS  post written last month, I think that theymos recently announced some changes in this ad campaigns and auctions, and it would be even harder to get something going for altcoins and projects like this.
You can still talk with individual campaign managers, hire them to start new signature campaign, with signatures and avatars for members to wear.

it is quite possible. you have a lot of forum members who do not leave certain sections, for example, gambling, and altcoin... and they do not know what is happening in the meta and other sections, because they are not interested in it.
as far as I can see on his website, he is a gamer/developer and it is clear to me that he is not interested in finding alt accounts on the forum.
in the end, if you look at some discussions and certain boards like a reputation, for example, you will see that a limited number of members come there and comment.

It is now left for you to go by what Despairo and CryptoHeadlineNews have suggested for you.

There is no place in the forum that has an open slot for rotating ads. If it has, it will only be for Btt display logo not for any other crypto projects ads. In other to that, that's why there are provisions to launch your project on the forum to get it promoted by members of the forum.

You can launch your project if you want to. There are bounty admins who can help to do that(already mentioned to you)

He is also not familiar with the forum rules (multiple posts in a row), so it is easy to conclude that he is not someone who pays attention to details.

Usually for signature campaigns, at least a 4-figures budget in US dollars is the average. You have the liberty of assigning several slots per member rank, and their weekly rates, just don't forget the campaign manager charges a management fee as well (weekly/ monthly basis).

Taking an example of Duelbits, we're talking above 4K. However take note that casinos are the majority of the advertisers and with their revenue stream, they are willing to pay top dollar as long as they gain new customers.

As said, there's no longer marketing "of the forum" (with some small differences that don't matter to you).
If you want to advertise a project, the route should be to find a campaign manager (and maybe an escrow too for the funds for the first few weeks, but the campaign manager can do that too) that will "hire" a number of users to advertise what you need in their signature space and/or avatar. Campaign managers: you can discuss with icopress or find lists like this one and see which one of them can help you. And you will need a designer for the signatures and/or avatars, but the campaign manager will advise you in that if needed.

I think that the minimum limits is $500/week, which is represented in the following (paying 50 dollars to 10 Hero/Legendary members), and then appointing a manager will increase the expenses, but it will give better results.

You can run it for one month or two then decide if you want to continues or not (so 2K-4K.)

Generally $80 per member and 20 members i.e. $1600/week will give good results if you hire a smart manager.

Like what other said above its better to choose to launch a signature campaign than running some bounties. Which is in the signature campaign you can hire some user here In forum who can advertise or promote your project here. Like what other casino did because as you can see that there are many gamblers here in forum so without doubt  many will try your services.

No worries, it's better to know beforehand since it could be a costly mistake should you advertise only to find out later.

Based on my observation, casinos have mainly been the prime choice because there are plenty of players and high rollers here, hence the competition. However not all brands could or would sustain after a few weeks.


If you're looking for a more affordable choice, there is the Bounty (Altcoin) board which you could pay in altcoins or tokens but generally the qualities of postings are much lower unless you are totally fine with the quantity > quality, as that subforum is basically for those that either are ineligible for signature campaigns or are simply there for simple tasks.

One more way is to find some popular or well-known members' avatars and/ or signature spaces for rental. Those are in the Services board.

If this is the project you are working on at the moment (Metaisland), no surprise that marketing is not having much effect as we are in the middle of bear market and I think that no matter what you do or how much money you pour in, results won't be good. Even if you have top product with an experienced team, its gonna be tough and I am sure that you already know that.

Looking at your ANN thread, I see some suspicious activity by 2 low ranking members that are talking to each other. Did anyone offer you so called "thread bumping" service where bunch of low level accounts write in your topic, giving impression that there's real interest? If yes, just tell them no as its completely useless and a total waste of money.

I don't think that amount of money will attract quality members, given the current situation where there's more spots in campaigns than there are quality members available.

I came here because I know this forum for a long time.

I don't know how it was around here before 2019, but imho this is not the place (at least not now) where you wanna advertise any sort of altcoin project and even if you go with signature campaign, don't expect much. Thing is, majority of people here are bitcoiners that don't care much about anything altcoin/NFT/Metaverse related or anything else popular at the moment. Don't get me wrong, signature campaigns can be good and effective way to promote your business around here but only if there's a lot of your target audience which I don't think is the case.
