The locking period is pretty much the principal behind staking, especially on such custodial platforms. In the future, just HODL your bitcoins or other cryptos in noncustodial wallets and just profit from the price growth over time. It's far much rewarding and less risky than staking. The small APY's aren't worth the risk locking all those coins in such platforms.

What if you wake up tomorrow and crypto.com is gone or hacked? How will you get your money back?

Sorry about your Dad through. I hope he makes it through so he can enjoy the fruits of some of his crypto investments.
2822  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: July 19, 2021, 10:25:25 PM
By leadership you mean the ability to kick the rivals to injury and send them home despite a flagrant yellow deserving aggression? The quality in those teams is not really about scoring or leading, is much more about remaining self-motivated after quite a few years of massive earnings, having your life (and probably your sons and grandsons lifes) shorte and still wanting to wake up every day to do your best and keep being elite. Did Ramos have that... yes. Was he the only one... no.
Let me simplify this;
I challenge you to name any Centre Back in La Liga who was better than Sergio Ramos in the past decade in all aspects (scoring goals and leading the team despite being a defender)

Goals win matches, not the least amount of yellow cards.

How many Rivals did he "kick" to injury and send home, if you really watched La Liga matches?
2823  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 19, 2021, 09:57:35 PM
arsenal london has signed a new player from rsc anderlecht - the central midfielder Albert Sambi Lokonga

Quote
RSC Anderlecht are set to receive a transfer fee of €17.5 million plus bonuses of up to €4 million for the central midfielder. In addition, the Belgians reportedly secured themselves a sell-on clause.
https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/news/view?id=389562

Belgian player Lokonga is still very young. He's 21 and I see little chance of playing Arsenal midfield. He can play for another team on loan for a season. He had 3 goals and 2 assists in 33 games with Anderlecht last year. After improving his football a little more, maybe he can play for the Arsenal team.
Another Arsenal signing whose existence I have just got to know about today.

The days when Arsenal would groom young players and nurture their talent into world-class beaters are now in the past. I am not trying to prophesy doom, but he's probably going to be bang average, just like the so many signings Arsenal has made in the past decade.

It's like they completely left even trying to sign good players or competing with other top clubs. A huge pain to their fans.
2824  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Neptuneswap - Plagiarism whitepaper on: July 19, 2021, 09:47:42 PM
This is a really good plagiarized whitepaper
No plagiarized white paper is a good one  Cheesy

One come trend with this scam projects is that even the names they come up with are never original. They come up with something similar to another previously hyped up joke project. So from the likes of Moonswap now we can see Neptuneswap. As soon as you see such names, just know that there's something suspicious about the project.
2825  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Impossible to Withdraw Stake After Deposit? Not Right.. Crypto.com on: July 19, 2021, 09:26:37 PM
There's usually a specific period with which the coins are staked before you can unlock them for withdrawal. What coins do you have staked in there?

2826  Other / Meta / Re: Plagiarism: Where Do We Draw the Line? on: July 19, 2021, 08:58:25 PM
It's all in black and white. If someone knows that they are copy information from someone or somewhere else, then the link to the source of the information is a must, to show that you are not passing the information as your own. There's no in between if you don't want to get your account banned for plagiarism.
2827  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: July 19, 2021, 08:49:43 PM
I will be running paid pool for La Liga this season as well. There will be some great prizes and side competitions so go check he link in the OP if you are interested.
I will be looking for ward to join again this season if all goes well. I wasn't able to join the Copa América League because I wasn't going to get any chance to watch any game throughout the tournament, but for La Liga, I will make sure I join it.

However do not let it fool you that Ramos was still an awesome player.
He was.

How many players have the great pitch leadership skill Ramos had?
How many players in Real Madrid right now have the confidence and impeccable penalty scoring record like Ramos had?

2828  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 3 BTC Lottery ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC on: July 19, 2021, 08:32:25 PM
Same what I answered to @JollyGood. In my post is nothing about 1xBit service. My answer is only for the accusation that I am 1xBit shill and/or troll because I join their signature campaign.
How does it make you feel advertising a site you very well know is a scam and is still claiming it's victims to this date with all the complaints and proofs available on the web?
How do you even sleep with all the guilt?

Don't deny it, you are a big Shill. You are promoting a company that we all know here is scam.
Quoted from the dictionary

Quote
Shill
1. noun Someone who promotes or endorses some product, service, event, etc., in an extravagant, misleading, or insincere manner in return for money or some other self-interest. Originally referred to someone who poses as a satisfied customer in order to lure other people into engaging in a swindle or con

2829  Other / Meta / Re: The red flag on: July 19, 2021, 02:50:50 PM
Are there some users exempted from the consequences of the red trust? Or first what are the consequences of having a red trust?
It entirely depends on how people see the negative feedback on your profile. Some negative feedback is genuine and even has proof in the reference showing that you can not be trusted, while other feedbacks are just sent due to disagreement between members (Not a correct way of using the trust ratings)

For example, I could send you negative feedback saying "You are very annoying" yet you never scammed anybody. So some people can still trust you and do business with you.

Quote
2. Amidst this, people are still patronizing the company. Does it therefore mean that the red flag or trust is not the true representation of a user. Can a user be a saint and yet red trusted by many?
The people patronizing the company also have red trust for different reasons. Why should you trust what a bunch of untrusted thugs tell you?
I mean, they are all coordinating to defraud more people.

Quote
3. These campaigns pay good money. Where exactly does this money come from? From the defrauded individuals or the company generated profits?
From fraud. If they had genuine intentions or were making lots of profits, they would have sorted out all the issues at hand, just like the other company around the forum.

Quote
4. Even if the forum cannot or does not want to do anything about scam moderation due to certain reasons, is there no a specific amount of red trust a user should get without a corresponding positive trust and get banned?
The moderation policy is so clear on scams. Scammers don't get banned. It's entirely up to the community to label them

Quote
5. A user who in past associated with scam and on the long run sincerely repents, is there a way the red trusts can be reversed, or is it as irreversible as the merit?
It depends on how forgiving the member who left the feedback is. But Admin or Mods never interfere with the feedback or dispute.
2830  Other / Meta / Re: NFT Board Soon? on: July 19, 2021, 02:30:34 PM
NFTs - Non-Fungible Tokens. You saw that, right? Tokens!

The forum already has a child board for Tokens; Tokens (Altcoins). So why should NFTs be any different?
Are we going to create boards of different types of tokens every time there's hype? If we did, Bitcointalk would really become a mess.
2831  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: MINERSDEALS - Is this site a scam? on: July 18, 2021, 09:56:21 PM
Any new experience with this site? I mean this is up for years and seems legit. Did anyone ordered and received good miners from them?
If a domain is up for years. it shouldn't automatically mean that it's legit. I have seen site of over 4 years scam people. I read through the reviews on Trustpilot and almost all are positive and come from the last 3 months only. For a site that has been around for years I would expect reviews from 2020, 20179, 2017 which mean the reviews might be fake. I would avoid sending money to them.
2832  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Binance P2P on: July 18, 2021, 09:25:58 PM
Especially with the currently hostile environment between Binance and regulators, they will probably up the KYC.

Just use on-forum escrow or LBC, I think you're much safer with them.
LBC may not be any much different from Binance when it comes to KYC requirements. In fact I found them to be asking way to much details as compared to Binance

Secondly, LBC is also restricted in all but 10 states in the US. If OP is not from one of the unrestricted states. Then his situation isn't any much different

Real Madrid is in a crisis with the money. As i have heard they are in huge debts and are cutting of big wages so i think this will last for 1-2 season until they make a lot of profit to buy big players. Mbappe wont join probobly Real Madrid because either PSG will ask for an outrages fee. But i heard even that the PSG owner said that they dont want to sell Mbappe at all.
Of course, they don't wanna sell him but If Mbappé refuses to pen down a contract extension, they risk being the big losers (Mbappé leaves next summer on a free transfer)
Who in this current situation would want to miss out making $150M+ on such a potential world-class player?

I think Real Madrid isn't in a worse situation as Barça when it comes to finances right now, but Barça are signing or at least trying to make bids.
2834  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [Discussion topic] Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: July 17, 2021, 08:49:13 PM
I mean, it should be all, to be fair to everyone, right? if a person there is tagged, all other participants should also be tagged. It's just a personal opinion  Cheesy
If you see anyone who's advertising a 1xbit signature and has not yet been tagged by me. You can just post the username in one of the threads talking about the 1xbit scam in reputations board. I will surely see it. You can also alert me via PM.

JollyGood has so far tagged anyone who wanted to advertise them, whether accepted or not. I was a little lenient by only tagging those who continued to advertise them, but our goals are all the same, identify and mark scam advertisers.

You can also tag any person you see doing something wrong. The task is not necessarily meant for only DT members.  Wink
2835  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: July 17, 2021, 07:57:29 PM
From the news I have heard, Real Madrid is not unwilling to sign players, they already have their radar and it looks like it will be difficult for them to get their targets, like Mbappe, they really want Mbappe at the moment, certainly not a decision for Mbappe to leave PSG.
I really don't know what's going on in Real Madrid. Without some good signings, I don't think Carlo Ancelotti will cope well enough. Zidane was good because there is a way he would utilize low class players too during the times of injuries. The Defense and attack could really use some good signings this summer. The Midfield is still perfect for another season.
2836  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Binance P2P on: July 17, 2021, 07:23:57 PM
Yes I am using Binance p2p there is amazing futures yes you must do verification if you want to trade p2p  yes there have western union future my suggestion you must trade with merchant person and see the how much trade completed the person you want to trade  Smiley
It's not a must that one should only perform trades with merchants. There are some good trading partners too who are not merchants. As long as you follow the trading instructions like not releasing your crypto unless you have confirmed that the funds were sent to your account and avoid reversible payment methods such as PayPal. You will never be scammed.
2837  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: ✅Sell cloud account (Azure,google cloud,linode,hetzner,DO)✅ on: July 17, 2021, 07:10:38 PM
yes I have opened thread there. I can show screenshot here too. Please tell me how I can attach. He is scammer I can prove.
You got scammer by a newbie account that has only one post? How careless of you.

Always use escrow in such deals and please your scam accusation has no necessary proof to show that you were scammed. Add more details like the transaction ID and screenshots of your chat with the scammer.

2838  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [WARNING] Black Phoenix Tokens (BPX) Plagiarized Whitepaper on: July 15, 2021, 09:59:33 PM
Nice catch, I will tag and flag/support the flag against the profile after sometime.

So they move the thread to archival after getting busted, or they were yet to put it in the Altcoins Announcements board?
2839  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: July 15, 2021, 09:48:23 PM
Messi can play at his current level for a couple of years, and it is not profitable for him to leave Barcelona right now. Barcelona will fulfill all his conditions, because at this stage they need him. I think it's about money. Messi, or rather his father, most likely wants guarantees of receiving a fairly large sum from Barcelona. Plus Barcelona needs to part with some players to sign Messi. I think the situation will be resolved in the near future.
They should let Varane go if he wants. He has won almost every trophy at Real Madrid except the Europa cup, so I don't think there's anything new he has to offer there.

By now, Real Madrid should have lined up for a couple of good centre backs in preparation for the replacements, but I don't know why they are taking so long. I, for one, hate last minute transfers.
2840  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Digital EURO - What are your thoughts? on: July 15, 2021, 07:49:56 AM
The digital euro will be the trojan horse for Bitcoin adoption.
https://www.ecb.europa.eu/paym/digital_euro/html/index.en.html

What are your thoughts?
Nah,

People who choose to use Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies have got more reasons to do so than just it being a digital currency.
The most important reason is because it's fully decentralized. Will the digital Euro be decentralized too? Absolutely not.

One also has a lot of freedom using and trading Bitcoin as compared to those Government controlled currencies
