That's very unfortunate news for the Clipper's fan out there. Without Leonard, I doubt if they can win this series against the Jazz, and if ever they do win, they might be sweep by the Suns IMO. The odds for game6 are already out and the Clippers are the slight underdog which means that bookies are anticipating a Jazz win especially that Mike Conley is expected to be back in that game.

Actually, the final roster that will compete in the FIBA World Cup in 2023 is yet to be determined. The ones that are playing now are called Gilas cadets since they are aspiring to be included in the final pool. Still, we could expect Junemar Fajardo to be the main big man for Gilas and maybe Jordan Clarkson if ever FIBA will allow him to play as local.

SBP is sending cadets to this window of elimination as the competition is not yet so stiff and sending a PBA-laden squad is so costly. Other teams also did the same like South Korea, expect different faces from last night come 2023 as they will be sending their best players.

Without Kawhi Leonard today, I don't think the Clipper will win this game5 because Paul George can't do it alone, the latter is so erratic that you don't know whether he brings his A-game today or not. Damn, injury really takes the excitement in this postseason, no amount of load management save Kawhi from injuries going into the playoffs huh so I think they should stop that strategy  .

Good exposure for these young guns and they are the future of the PBA especially Kai Sotto but it was Dwight Ramos who did well in this game just like in the previous window. If this kid is eligible to play in the PBA, he deserves to be the number one pick overall.


I thought the Busan experience will haunt the Gilas once again after the missed throw then the 3-point shot by Korea that tied the game, fortunately, BelANGEL who was sent from heaven make that desperate 3 point shot that saves the day for Gilas and more importantly gives the boys more confidence going forward in this tournament.

I'm staying away from this game, my thought is that the Gilas cadets will not win against South Korea and that +5.5 HC is inappropriate IMO as I think they will be destroyed by their opponents. Though this is a good experience for the young guns of Philippine basketball, betting for them is not a cool thing for now especially against a strong opponent like South Korea, maybe against Indonesia I will bet but I have to look at the odds first.

What a game, that Hail Mary three point by Belangel just went in. This kid just got future in the PBA with the way he man the point for the Gilas squad.

With this pattern that they both won on their home games, the possibility of a game7 is very possible. This series is opposite to the Clippers vs Mavs wherein both teams have not won in their homecourt till game7 for the Clippers.

The character of Mitchell will be tested in this series, either buckle down to pressure or rise up to the challenge of bringing the Jazz to the WCF.

Game5 is very important to the home team, if they lose I think this series is over in six games.

Against a Rattlif reinforced South Korea I think the Gilas Cadet would be a huge underdog in this match but still, it's exciting to watch the future of the PBA play.

I think they will announce the update of the PBA opening after the 3rd window of FIBA Asia qualifier. Though the commissioners have no direct involvement in this event I think they will closely observe how it is being done and they are also hoping that it would be a big success to impress the IATF that basketball will not be a super spreader event once it resumes, of course with the compliance of the health and safety protocol.

Speaking of FIBA, we now have a chance to have a glimpse of Kai Sotto and company as they will be facing South Korea tomorrow.

I'm very sure that Dasmarinas will give his all in this fight as this is the biggest fight so far in his career and if he could pull an upset, money fights would be pouring in. Clippers -5.5 is attractive IMO as the momentum of the series shifted to the Clippers and besides Mitchell might not be 100 percent tomorrow and Paul George's confidence is back, so a more than 10 point lead by the Clippers after the buzzer is eminent. 

Pacman speed is amazing, we all know that hehe but the only thing that I will closely watch during the fight is his stamina and endurance.

In his last fight against Thurman, he seemed gassed out in the 2nd half of the fight in which Thurman came back to make it a close fight. I watched every Pacman fight since Barrera and that is the notable change that I have seen in him, he seemed to pause and take a breather.

There's a new article that I've read that Manny would fly to the US to train in the Wild Card gym of Freddie Roach on the early weeks of July, that's before the SONA of the Philippine President, so he have more time training in the US.

That would be his biggest mistake if he takes Manny lightly but i think that's not gonna happen because Spence would not become a champion if he lacks that discipline. This fight, i think he's gonna train hard for this as this kind of event doesn't come always in a boxer's career and he is lucky that he is the one that got this fight as many aspires to be on the opposite side of Manny in the ring.

With not much time left, the Clippers will win this for sure. Paul George showed up in this game and it seems that they pushed him to get that confidence to be back in him and I thought that it does.

I'm just happy that the Clippers are back on the series. They have a good game1 and game2 but just can't hold on to their lead, maybe this win is the start for them to locked down the Jazz.
