If you've made a lot of posts in a thread and it gets trashed then your post count will go down. Don't post in unsubstantial threads that are liable to be deleted if you're worried about this.

Why do you want to become a moderator? There is no application process and asking to be one is usually the wrong way to go about it, but if you report a lot of posts accurately theymos may ask you in the future if he feels you would be beneficial, but I wouldn't hold your breath for this.

Hows that a shitposting? Im posting my thoughts about the certain topic. Off-topic is the easiest way to get to Jr.Member when you dont know much stuff about cryptoworld. Is that illegal only to write in off-topic or what? And this is exactly the problem with signature campaigns and activity/rank. This is a bitcoin forum, not an off topic forum where people come to earn money who have absolutely no interest in bitcoin or crypto other than they heard they can easily get paid here. I wouldn't even mind if you actually had something constructive to say in there, but you don't. "The easiest way to get to Junior Member". That's all you care about. Spam your way to Junior member as quick and with as little effort as possible so you can join a signature campaign on your multiple accounts to start getting paid to spam even worse drivel. Well, that's not acceptable. Can we make some changes to how signature campaigns are allowed to operate here as well? I wonder how much of the forum slowness is due to the increased traffic of hundreds of shitposters signing up with dozens of accounts each every day.
Also, can you restore the membersearch functionability? It was helpful in finding alts of bots and farmers and banning them before they even started to shit up the forum.

People who not have at least 10 activity in one week will be disqualified. Also, they don't have our signature in their profile. We check all participants every Monday.
They don't have your signature because they're banned from the forum, but if you did your job properly they shouldn't have been on your campaign in the first place. |

There have been hundreds of those @163.com accounts banned in the past. There was some serious farming going on in the Chinese section and they just used to do the rounds in there one after the other:  Just search @163.com in the memberlist and you'll see them all but there were many more that just had random character names and the @163.com email addresses which were hidden. Nothing is going to change until we get rid of signatures from ranks though. Account farming just gets more prevalent and profitable as time goes on. |
