Great lines at Nitrogensports for college football and a top rated book. After there's Betcoinsports, Jetwin, Casinobitcoin, Cloudbet and Anonibet.

2828  Economy / Gambling / Re: Direct Dice - No House Edge ! 10 BTC Jackpot ! Bitcoin, Litecoin & Dogecoin on: August 30, 2014, 09:22:55 PM
1) This is mainly applicable to sports betting and not to the Direct Dice. In Direct Dice, your bet will be rejected and refunded if you send in your bet after the secret was already revealed or if you bet more than the maximum advised.

Complete information on how we process and handle bets can be found here :

http://www.directbet.eu/Rules.cshtml

At what point is the secret revealed?

I read somewhere that you allow "instant verification", which I guess means you reveal the secret as soon as the deposit transaction confirms. If that's the case, can I really use the same address for multiple bets? Or is that a relic from sports betting?

What if I send multiple bets to the same address in a single transaction. Would those be settled as separate bets, with different rolls? Or how would you handle that? SatoshiDice incorporates the output number into the hashing as well as the txid, so they can process multiple bets per transaction.

2) The maximum bet amount is static for Direct Dice and will rarely change.

3) We are well funded and never failed to pay a winning bet. We also have the option to decrease the max bet size should we be interested in reducing variance. Furthermore, payouts are issued instantly as soon as there is 1 confirmation in the network for your initial bet transfer, so if you have any concern, you can simply wait to receive your winnings before placing another bet.

If you are really offering a +EV game, you can expect to attract lots of attention, and lose a lot of coins. I'm curious to know how many coins you have available to lose, and whether you are willing to offer cryptographic proof of your ownership of them.
People come out of the woodwork for +ev casino games. You know what you are talking about. Back in the day guys were raping the fiat books using big bonuses for +ev games. I don't know much about casinos but 9/5 jacks or better with a bonus is still nice.

I hate to keep picking on DirectBet but something is fishy here with the dice. DirectBet has stated that they have the best bonus in the industry for their sportsbook and that's far from the truth.
2829  Economy / Gambling / Re: Direct Dice - No House Edge ! 10 BTC Jackpot ! Bitcoin, Litecoin & Dogecoin on: August 30, 2014, 07:06:20 PM
The bet ID identifies the bet that you ordered (event, selection, betting option, secret, etc.) while each bet transfer is identified by its block-chain transaction ID.

Thanks for answering all my questions. That all seems very reasonable.

I have a couple of other concerns:

1) When you give me the address to send coins to, you state that the bet may be cancelled under certain rare circumstances, but don't explain what those would be. Why might you cancel my bet? It would suck if you accepted 99 losing bets then cancelled the one 100x winning one.

2) You state the max bet (for "even number") is 7.7 BTC. Does that change often? What if it changes between you telling me it's 7.7 BTC and my bet transaction getting a confirmation, such that by the time the 7.7 BTC is confirmed it is then over the max bet?

3) Do you do any kind of "proof of solvency"? I don't know what kind of a bankroll you need to spread a 7.7 BTC bet at evens with 0% house edge and not risk going bankrupt, but I imagine it's considerable. If someone gets very lucky, can you afford to pay them out? If so, are you willing to prove it by signing a message with the address of your cold wallet?
If what they do is similar to the sportsbook, then you should worry. Be careful of loop holes. You lose on ties in the sportsbook in basketball and UFC. Bets also get held up for 20 minutes or more before knowing if you have a bet. While they say it's rare, it happens all the time. Their definition of rare is very loose.

Your best bet is to play the freebies here and then make your money bets at another book.
2831  Economy / Gambling / Re: DirectBet – #1 LIVE Sportsbook & Racebook. No Accounts. Instant Payouts. on: August 30, 2014, 06:40:57 PM
College football offerings is a joke. I'm forced to move on to another book because of only offering MLs and crap.

You can't even play the ML at these prices:

WV/ALA -2500/+1050

All other books with better lines.

Jetwin

Non-competitive lines.

NCAA Football - No spreads, only moneylines and totals.

Juice on the totals - one side -120, the other side -133.

Major league ripoff.

Anonibet

Non-competitive lines

No NFL.

No USA College Football.

Bet VIP

There is no USA College Football offered at all.

The worst sportsbook software possible:

The software was designed by someone who didn't have a clue, and didn't bother to look at any other sportsbook's software on the web.

When I click on a category, I then get a game by game list.
E.g., MLB.
Then a horizontal listing game by game with the team names, but no lines.
To get the line, I have to click on a specific game, there is not a complete listing of lines once I click on MLB.
Is it possible that there could have been a worse software design than this?

42 cent college football Saturday and no games today. This is a joke of a book.

Their MLs are even worse and wait until you see their live betting.

Betcoin Sports -

No spreads only moneylines on many sports.

44 cent lines on NCAA FB totals (-122/-122).
Hideous.

They do earn the distinction of having the same worthless software as BetVIP, where clicking on a sport category does not give you lines, but a list of the matches only.
It's then necessary to click game by game to get the lines.

Did a failed software designer hold a firesale, or did Betcoin Sports and BetVIP actually pay someone to design these monstrosities?

How could every single management employee/owner of both of these "sportsbooks" not have a clue, along with the software designer?

Anyone who had any previous association with the sportsbetting industry and/or anyone who had ever spent more than 5 minutes betting sports would have rejected this worthless software.

Was it too much work for the people associated with these books to actually look at the software of other sportsbooks online?

gogo - On the top right switch the view from European to American. At first I thought the same as you but now I think that Betcoinsports has one of the better ones. I like the way they make you aware of line changes with the green and red boxes that update instantly. You don't get the odds have changed on the next screen as often.

I think there is a slight delay with live betting but instantly pregame with the green and red update.

will do
Anonibet puts up NFL lines late but no NCAA.

Well, that explains why you don't have "NFL Football" and "College Football" but rather just "American Football."

Anonibet is horrible for "American Football" anyway and if you bet American Football there, I'd highly suggest checking out other options...

Peeps - I suggest you have "NFL" and "NCAA FB" listed separately.

Bet VIP's official thread is not in this main forum but on a subforum, so I'm posting a thread here.

There is no USA College Football offered at all.

Bet VIP - why? To make things more difficult and time consuming and inefficient?

hey Peeps no worries my friend

Not sure why you mentioned jetwin since you missed my post but I haven't bet at jetwin in a long time.  Much, much better odds available elsewhere but that's just my opinion.  That's the point of this thread right?

Since you encourage player feedback, I made an informative post 2 pages back in this thread (somehow you missed it).  Let me know if you have any issues finding it as it could be beneficial to the Bitcoin gambling community.

Thanks and keep up the good work  Cool

jeremypwr - Please cut and paste it here. Or give the post # at least.
I received a PM from jeremy asking for additions to Casinobitcoin. I think that was added in the last update. The onus is on the books if something is missing as far as offerings. The same goes for additional markets not listed.

Yes I did Peeps you're correct.

Since you PMed me 1st unable to locate my posted corrections.

Since we're bringing me up and talking about private messages, why don't you tell the forum why Cloudbet in your only book who refuses to disclose their location.

I'd trust them with my money  Grin
Sorry about the PM. It's one of my rules that I try to abide by in never posting PMs which is why I kept it vague. To answer your question about location, the location of the other books was posted at another forum or I wouldn't have disclosed it for any book.

Cloudbet's location isn't posted anywhere publicly so I want to leave that alone even if I were to know. The same goes for books that are rated "D" that may someday join the "C"s and above.

Nitrogen and Casinobitcoin are offering NFL survivor pools. I don't know of anyone else.
