2822  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can USB Miner be used to mine btc and ltc? on: March 22, 2016, 05:10:34 PM
I just purchased a cheap usb miner to help me better understand how the cryptocurrency systems work. I realize this is not the best option for mining but i am not worried about making money right now. Is it possible to mine both btc and ltc with a usb miner? If so is there anything I need to do to mine ltc? the one i purchased is an asic miner block erupter
if you purcashed asic miner,so you can only mine bitcoin, but if you have dualminer,we know dualminer is it can mine both BitCoin SHA-256 and Scrypt coins (such as LiteCoins) at the same time if desired. With an easy dip switch setting, it will mine Scrypt at nearly double the dual rate making it simple to configure.

2824  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2 simple things about creators of bitcoin on: March 22, 2016, 04:47:44 PM

Let me share my personal thoughts about creators of bitcoin. I would like to just point out the following two observations:

1. With so big effort spent (in time, work and people) still nobody was able to clearly find out who that was - that means there must be really strong reasons to keep that unrevealed.

2. Bitcoin started / appeared pretty much right after those big banks collapse being the beginning of serious world crisis.

Now I will leave you with your own conclusions from the above two things :-) Smiley

that make sense, the bitcoin creator really want to make something big and anonymous,so he or they make their self anonymous too.

this is also make sense, people who really hate banks of their bankrupt,so they create something big that doesnt need any banks.
2825  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you had one chance... on: March 22, 2016, 04:39:50 PM
If you had one chance to get someone interested in Bitcoin (on a TV interview, or in private conversation with a wealthy friend, for example), and under 20 seconds...
What would you say?
20 seconds is very short, maybe i would say like this : "if you're people who love future, you should love bitcoin, because bitcoin one of best future payment, and also investement, you will not believe if if you can send money very fast, anonymous and safe"
2826  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Washington State Became a Battleground for Bitcoin Mining on: March 22, 2016, 03:53:31 PM

Quote
"We feel like it's a bait and switch."

That's Michael Cao, CEO of bitcoin mining firm ZoomHash, one of a number of bitcoin miners currently involved in a months-long dispute over power costs with a public utility provider in Chelan County, Washington.

Cao isn't alone. Other bitcoin miners in the region say they were drawn by promises of cheap power, a circumstance that's now subject to possible change.

...A moratorium on high-density load customers, which includes bitcoin mining firms, has been in place since December 2014 and is set to expire in October, by which time the PUD intends to have a rate increase plan firmly in place.

The utility is currently weighing a plan to raise rates for customers that use more than 250 kilowatt-hours per square foot or more annually, a move that would include the power-hungry bitcoin mines in Chelan. This would mean a power cost of roughly five cents per kilowatt hour, or about double what they pay now.
Washington state is popular and important buildng on USA,so is there any other state on other countries who have battleground like washington?it will important for country to have Battleground for Bitcoin Mining.
2827  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would local bitcoin advertising help to make bitcoin more popular? on: March 22, 2016, 01:55:24 PM
I mean like on your local TV/radio stations, billboards,... Where the ad would 'simply' explain the concept and its advantages. Could this help to make bitcoin more popular?

EDIT: Or an even better question: should we try to make bitcoin more popular?
yes we should try to make bitcoin more popular, ust like product, people need to know bitcoin first, and than they start to interset for using bitcoin,i also think if we introducing bitcoin with local media like tv,radio and other ads,it will effective.
2828  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what happens to Bitcoin if internet goes down? on: March 22, 2016, 01:06:33 PM
given the cayos happening in the world i wouldn't be surprised of nuclear war and in this case i would expect internet disruption question is what happens to Bitcoin if internet goes down?

home internet and mobile internet goes down

do not mean trade bitcoin to buy/sell i mean using it as a way of payment say you wanted to send money to someone abroad for family far away
block are move by internet connection,so if internet in this world goes down, also with bitcoin, they will down at same time,we can't do anything without internet connection,we can't sent bitcoin or scan wallet address.

Japanese pursued the mysterious egg attacks of Magdeburg

Tourists in front of the City Hall in Magdeburg: The attack hit several Japanese .

Unknown persons made in Magdeburg hunt for a group of students and the Japanese pelted repeatedly out of the car with eggs and sour cream. The mayor suspected xenophobic motives.

A delegation of Japanese students have been attacked in Magdeburg. Like the police, the guests were pelted and abused from a moving car with eggs and sour cream. Within three quarters of an hour three incidents were registered, a police spokesman said.
Twice Japanese students were thrown at Hasselbachplatz, once, a German passerby from something. Here some students had been struck on the head and arm. The 26 students from Tokyo were traveling in a study visit in the city.

Police had initially not track down the car from which the eggs had been thrown. Even the motive for the attack is still unclear, a spokesman said.

Mayor Lutz Trümper (independent) said that such incidents are not to tolerate. It called to oppose xenophobia. A spokeswoman for the city informed the MDR Sachsen-Anhalt, the city ready together with the German-Japanese Society Saxony-Anhalt an apology letter to the participants of the excursion before.

World War III broke out 6 years, huge disruption to everybody, there was limited nuclear bomb detonation in two smaller nations. Internet is in a state useable but not reliable.
Will Bitcoin survive? Will smuggler use Bitcoin to buy weapon, or gold to buy weapon?
depending when WW III would starts,if it start on 5 or 10 years again,i will make sure that bitcoin will survive, and maybe some countries use bitcoins for make their economic stable when WW III currently happen.
