2821  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: October 10, 2021, 01:57:23 PM
There's a rumor that there is an internal conflict between Casimero and his management team, the MP Promotions. If only MPP did participate on the purse bid then somehow the money that will go to Casimero would likely be bigger than this. It's just awkward that there is only one promotional company (Probellum) that participated in that bid.

Though Casimero will get a 70% share of the pie i think that's too small for setting up for training camp, pay for hotels, and airfare as words had it that he will be on his own for this fight unless things with his boss will be iron out.

I do hope that this rumour is not true. We all know how supportive MP specially on fighters like Casimero.

Yeah, as I have said before, even if he gets the lion share, still very small and there could be -30% of the paycheck or even higher. That's why I asked the question of whether he should accept the fight or not. Nevertheless he has everything to lose if he decided not to so he should go and keep on winning.

I follow his social media account  Grin to get updates from him directly bro and with that matter, he said on Facebook that he will not give up the belt and he will take this fight. The good thing is, it is campaigning time for the presidential election and I don't think Manny will turn his back on him as votes from the Casimero family will turn to waste if he does that lol.

Kidding aside, yeah Manny will help as long as Casimero is willing to sit down and throw his pride and ego aside. I'm in the process now on what really happen that causes this internal conflict.

MP promotion gave him an opportunity to be popular in the US, so I don't think he will turn his back on Manny, this is just one fight and he still has more fight after this, all Casimero has to do is beat Butler and then challenge Inoue again and make that fight happen.

As a fan, our discussion should focus on who our favorite fighter will fight, the money issue should be set aside as it will only make this sport more about money instead of more about pride and be the best in boxing.
2822  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: October 10, 2021, 01:14:14 PM
Lakers now at +2.5 or 2.17 to win straight up.
I like the pick, Lakers need a win and I think the last 3 losses will make them play harder and beat the Suns.

It's a rematch in the preseason and per report, CP3 is questionable, so it's an advantage for the Lakers if he will not play. Westbrook already played against the GSW but only manage to score 2 points, I hope this time around he would be able to generate points and lead the team to get their first win in the preseason.
2823  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: October 09, 2021, 09:41:42 PM
This is a bold call. I know Nets are having issues with Kyrie while Sixers with Ben but it's hard to think of Bulls and Miami defeating them. You still have the defending champs working under the radar.

We still have the Hawks and the Knicks as well, so it's going to be very difficult for Miami and the Bulls. But we will see, there could be surprises if Sixers because of the Ben Simmons saga will not figure in the top 3 standing in the East.

Ben Simmons is really a big loss for the team, his contribution in the regular season is huge, his problem just started in the series against the Hawks but it could also be mishandling of the 76ers coaching staff. For a superstar that would choose not t play if he will not get traded, there must be some big pain inside that he doesn't want to cooperate with the team.

Regardless, he still has to stay professional as he is still under contract, with the attitude he should, which could affect his future in the NBA as other teams that could be interested in the trade would see it a bad attitude for him that one day could also happen to them. This saga won't be over soon, as long as the 76ers will continue to keep their ego as well, Simmons will remain useless while the 76ers will carry the effect.
2824  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ]: Fury vs Wilder III - THE TRILOGY IS BACK ON !!! on: October 09, 2021, 09:09:36 PM
Tyson Fury black outfit for weight-ins reminded me on Undertaker with his hat and t-shirt, and Wilder is again complaining about glove tampering and cheating from Fury, but this is only proving he is afraid of Fury, and maybe he wants to mentally affect Fury Cheesy
Thanks for the share up mate and i did really enjoy seeing those behind the scenes and it turns out that Fury is heavier for 4 pounds than Wilder but having 1+kg additional wont really be that much of an issue or problem.

Yeah that undertaker-like outfit does suit him up and i cant really wait for this fight to happen.Hope that there wont be some non sense reasoning that would come from the mouth of Wilder
but looking him on weigh-ins it turns out that he's quite confident for this upcoming fight. Hmmmm
Whatever excuse he would say would not anymore get sympathy from the fans, we know already what he can do and in their last 2 fights, we know who dominate although in the first fight some judgest doesn't see that Fury proved it in the rematch. Now, on the 3rd fight, this is the conclusion and if Fury would still win, regardless of how, I think the talks between the two will be over, and Fury will move to fight a champion.
2825  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: October 09, 2021, 06:04:04 AM
^ They have proven already when they went straight to the finals during the bubble. No one expected them to be that good that year, but they upset teams in the East that time and give the Lakers everything they can handle. Most of the core players are still in Miami, intact, it's that last season they are inconsistent in the regular season. So we will see how's Lowry addition to the team will help them achieved their goals again to reach the finals, they are one of the underrated team this season that can pull a big surprise.
Of course, the Heat with Lowry and Butler can impress fans. However, look at the Heat's results in the last playoffs. They lost to the Bucks in the first round without any chance. Therefore, it isn't surprising that many don't expect that the Heat will be able to reach the final series this season.

It was a different Miami Heat last season, it seems that they are drained from the previous years season going against the Lakers. And then we have Bam and Butler getting injured, Herro and Duncan Robinson shots where not falling, so there are inconsistent last year.

Hopefully they have figured it out what's missing last year, they have Ariza and Nunn, but it wasn't there, no chemistry.

I was surprised they got swept by the Bucks, actually, I thought they would be able to beat the Bucks in the series, but what a big bounce back by the Bucks for avenging their previous season's loss, so I guess the Heat would not allow that to happen and they would also avenge their previous season loss if they will face the Bucks. I'm excited about the coming season, I believe that Miami will have a good regular season and their ranking will be in the top 4.

Is this a scam accusation or your personal review about the gambling site?

I think it's not necessary to create a thread anymore, they have an ANN thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1221154.0), you can post on their thread and it will not be deleted since the thread is not moderated, if you do that, you can help them by giving your honest feedback, and they might improve their service as they have been here for many years already.
2827  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: October 08, 2021, 05:07:16 PM

Lowry is gonna be a very good addition to the team Heat.  I think that he can make a very good duo with  Jimmy Butler. Lowry has scored 17 points a game last season with the Raptors and got about 5 and a half to rebound each game which is some decent stat. Considering Heat needed a better Point Guard and Lowry can fill in that role very good although he has aged, I'm curious to see how many seasons we will see him with the Heats.

Lowry can help Herro the same way Jimmy and Bam guide this kid, Miami has a decent roster now after acquiring Lowry.
He can manage the playmaking and let Bam and Jimmy to score. his numbers way back from Toronto are very decent he
don't have any problem playing whoever beside him.

I watch a video clip of him saying that he loves helping. He's not after with his own fame but always for the best of the team.
Regular season is more exciting to expect now. The east is also upgrading to make sure that it's not an easy journey for the
west after winning the conference finals.

PC Tucker is a defensive specialist, he can guard anyone on the floor and not only that, he also brings energy when it's needed.

I see the offense is not a problem with the Heat.

The following players could provide consistent offense if they are healthy.

1. Bam Adebayo
2. Jimmy Butler
3. Tyler Herro
4. Kyle Lowry
5. Duncan Robinson
6. Victor Oladipo

I think with the current roster of the Heat ,they can avenge their bad playoff series against the defending champion.
2828  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: October 07, 2021, 08:51:40 PM
Speaking of the effect of 3-point shots today, I don't know if you remember this but just take a look back at how these 3 players thought of the same thing by positioning themselves outside the arc waiting for the ball (link). It's funny because anyone of them could have chosen an easy layup or an open dunk to tie and extend for an OT. Just an unbelievably dumb play Grin

I never seen that picture but I would have been heated if I was the coach.  I mean cmon that's elementary school in to realize fill the paint and lay it up.  Go to ot and fight it out.  I mean did the entire team lay on the under on this game  Grin

Haha, same thought. I'd be kicking those Gatorade containers, ripping play board, blame the janitor  Grin Grin Hell, 4 against 2 and with 3 secs at most dang even 1 of them should cut inside but nah, they felt like Steph Curry on that crucial possession. If I was PG on that game same scenario no one wanted to cut inside I'd be frustrated as fuck. Rather took it inside instead of passing  Grin

This is a preseason game, maybe the approach is different, and by looking at the highlight of this play, no one in Denver uniform would like to take the two, they want to end this game with a game-winner, hopefully, this doesn't happen in the regular season as it's so dumb to trust the 3 than a high percentage shot.
2829  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: October 07, 2021, 08:26:38 PM
Feels pretty good to have the thread up and running again, I've not been the best fan betting on the preseason, due to the fact that I feel the competition is not up to standard and bets could easily go either ways, but I'll be keeping tabs and maybe tailing one or two.
How about you share mate and we will just tail, kidding! but you can always do so as this thread is for everyone, we are free to tail or fade and for me, I will just tail on a poster that is hot, no questions ask.
+1 to the vote for Harkorede to share.  Cheesy
I loss my bets again, I guess I can see some tips when the real season starts. For now I will use my bad skills at analyzing the preseason.
We just have 3 games for tomorrow so I guess I will try to parlay it again but this time I will bet for teams with higher odds to win the game.
Charlotte Hornets vs Memphis Grizzlies - Hornets (this has a close gap with 1.83 Hornets and 1.87 Grizzlies)
Philadelphia 76ers vs Toronto Raptors - 76ers
Houston Rockets vs Miami Heat - Heat
@3.54 total parlay. That should be enough. Cheers!

Just enjoy the preseason and we will start the real business once the regular season starts. It's hard to cap games now, star players aren't playing and we never know if, in the end, the team will play hard or will just give it away to their opponent. At this time, I suggest beating on the weaker teams as they have a better chance since they play harder and will not give their main players plenty of rest.
2830  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: October 07, 2021, 11:41:10 AM
A more improve LA Lakers vs an undermanned GSW, I guess I know where to bet, as long as the line is good, I would go with the LA Lakers. Westbrook will have his first game in Lakers, uniform, I like to see him give a good showdown with Curry.
So it's Westbrook vs Curry now and not Lebron anymore.  Cheesy But when Klay comes back it will be a different story. For start we could go betting for the Lakers but the odds will be different once they are complete again.

It does not look good for Lebron vs Curry match-up, lol. Although Lebron is the captain of the Lakers, I like to see a showdown between Westbrook and Curry as these are players who are explosive enough when they play. Of course, when Klay comes back (provided he is healthy), it will be a different story as the warriors will also become more competitive, but he will not be back soon.
2831  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: October 07, 2021, 11:10:54 AM
Pre-season games are going on but I'm disappointed not to see the main players of big teams in those games. But I understand of course that they don't want to cause those players to get injured right before the start of the new season. For example, we had a Lakers - Nets game a few days ago. But none of the players like Lebron, Durant, Harden and Irving played in this game. It was still a high-scoring game though. I'm just fully focused on the start of the season now.
It is okay. We just have to wait until the regular season comes within the next 2 weeks. They're all reserving what they've got for that season since all of them are preparing of it.
Just be patient and it's just a few sleeps away.

It is obvious that this superstars are not going to risk getting injured in pre-season that's why they are not playing. So it's ok, at least that is the main reason, and as fans we wanted to see them going full 80++ games.

But when the regular games starts, for sure, they are going to be in for the first minute of the game, it's important to say Lakers and Nets dictate the phase already and make the teams do the catch up for them.

Yup, just 12 more days and then we can watch the Los Angeles Lakers and the Golden State Warriors play on TNT.  It doesn't feel like it has been very long since that happened, but nevertheless I'm glad to have the NBA back.  Steph Curry vs Lebron James never disappoints either.  Although I'm expecting the Lakers to give them a pretty bad beatdown.  I haven't been following closely enough to know when exactly Klay will be back, but hopefully soon if he's not ready in 2 weeks.
A more improve LA Lakers vs an undermanned GSW, I guess I know where to bet, as long as the line is good, I would go with the LA Lakers. Westbrook will have his first game in Lakers, uniform, I like to see him give a good showdown with Curry.
2832  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant on: October 06, 2021, 06:31:08 AM
Hopefully, no last minute cancellation here because a lot are expecting to see this fight inside the ring. Being Canelo as the heavy favorite, this will be a good challenge for Caleb. Can he pull an upset just like Usyk? Seems not likely. But the fight will speak for itself. So let's see...

After so much bad blood between the boxers, I don't think that there is a possibility of last minute cancellation. And I have seen posts comparing Canelo to Anthony Joshua earlier as well, in this thread. You can compare Caleb with Usyk (still I would say that Usyk is a more classy athlete), but I don't think that it is logical to compare an all time great like Canelo with a overhyped motormouth like AJ. Given the recent thrash talk from the part of Caleb, actually it will suit more if you compare Caleb with AJ.

Let us not discuss cancellation because it's so frustrating to know that the fight we have been waiting for will just be cancelled, some fights this year has been cancelled already, hopefully, it's not a trend this year. Because of the recent cancellation of events this year, bookies are now not giving advance betting odds I guess, the Pacquiao vs Spence was cancelled but good thing Pacquiao is willing to fight the substitute, hopefully, other boxers will do.
2833  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: All crypto declared illegal in China!!!!!!!!!!!!! on: October 06, 2021, 06:15:26 AM
How will this impact Bitcoin and other cryptoprojects?? What do you think guys?

The crackdown by the Chinese government on the crypto industry is not new at this time, previously last May they also did the same thing to services related to crypto transactions, even the Chinese state ban action was also carried out in 2013 and 2017, although they continued to oppose the presence of bitcoin but so far has not had a big impact on bitcoin because many people and investors still strongly believe in investing with bitcoin.

But this time it's more serious, or we can say that it's getting worst, in short China is always against crypto, and crypto would never grow in this country. What's the effect? Seems like the bad effect was just temporary as bitcoin is now bullish rising to $50k+ and would probably increase more in the last quarter.
2834  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will $50,000 be the resistant price? on: October 05, 2021, 12:27:05 PM

We've breached $48k, then goes down again as expected, but then we get passed $49k. Hopefully we can surpassed $50k this week and with no negative news around and very bullish sentiments since the beginning of the month, I wouldn't be surprised if we can hit that goal of $55k at least this October.

As long as we are in the $50k level, it's not impossible to break the resistance and who knows, at a very short time, bitcoin will break its ATH as our ATH is only $64k, the price is very close now, we should be optimistic that the pump will continue as we are in the last quarter of the year already.
2835  Economy / Speculation / Re: Next stop $85K for Bitcoin on: October 05, 2021, 11:48:43 AM
Slow and steady, 85k still looking possible, but if we balloon, then 100k's got to be the year's aim, eh guys?

A gradual rise might happen and the latest Bitcoin ETF approval from the SEC could fuel things up making it possible to hit $100,000 this year.
October has a great opening for Bitcoin price. I remember how Bitcoin slowly rising back in 2017 on October and hit an ATH on December. Could it happen again If we see Bitcoin slowly and steadily rise?
I'm kinda positive for the next Bitcoin price, though $100,000 seems too long for Bitcoin to hit.

I doubt that $100k though, I know that the market is still bullish and it could create a new ATH, but with less than 3 months left, I believe that $100k is too much for a high marketcap coin which is bitcoin. Enjoy the pump, maybe from here we will see more pumps like what we witness this year.
2836  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why does AXS continue to increase in the market while others experience dumps? on: October 04, 2021, 09:26:44 PM
Overall the market is still bullish, take a look at the big picture and see the last 7 days' performance of the top 100 altcoins and you will see it as positive or bullish. https://coinmarketcap.com/

Axie Infinity or AXS has achieved its ATH, it's normal in the bull run and this project is really hype right now, so it's expected that it will happen and those who were able to ride it should be happy now, but actually this is normal in crypto, some coins go up, some goes down, it's called volatility.
2837  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When do you see the true bear market coming? on: October 04, 2021, 08:40:59 PM
2018 was really a year of taught for the cryptocurrency and bitcoin and a year too sad to be forgotten. Well talking of bear market to be as then is what you and I cannot predict but if there's a strong rejection or dip on BTC then it will sure affect some other cryptocurrencies.
We will never forget that year because of the heavy correction, we still got a hangover that year because of the bull run that happens in the last quarter of 2017 and continue in the early months of 2018, but after that, it's already a nightmare, but I'm glad many have still survived and we are here now enjoying another bull run. We learn from our experience and we will not easily fail even if the bear market will come anytime soon.

https://www.nba.com/news/lamarcus-aldridge-to-reportedly-sign-with-nets
This is why we cannot expect too much from him. Nets will give him the minutes but I don't think they will let him stay for a long time for the said reason.
Maybe this will be his last year and he just considers having a ring before he fully retires and just rests.
Other teams though should still be careful in defending him, he sure could stretch the floor with his shooting range which we just witnessed earlier.
Well, i agree with that!
Does anyone have a health feedback from LaMarcus Aldridge from his last game!!?

Is he still okay? Does he have the ability to play during the regular season and playoffs cautiously!!?
I think he is okay, otherwise, he would not play him. Regular games and practice games are the same, and when he can finish in practice games, he can also play in regular games. Well, I agree that he might get limited minutes and he would retire after the Nets will win a championship, he is only taking the opportunity as this is the best team so far he played with to fulfill his dream of becoming a champion.
2839  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is easier? on: October 04, 2021, 01:21:46 PM
To those who are trading consistently, I would like to ask you based on your experience.

Which is easier in making a profit, riding with the hype, or waiting until the price will dip?

Most people say that don't buy when the market is bullish, just wait until there's a price correction and the price will dip.
So with your experience, I like to know which is more effective between the two.

Personally I think that waiting for a dip is easier. It is a long-term strategy when you buy on drawdowns and then hold averaging your price on new dips. If such conservative strategy suits you, you can use it, but if you want to be an active trader, then you can try to buy on a bullish market.

But actually it is not always easy to guess a trend and judge when the end of the current hype, but this strategy is more profitable I think. Cool

I agree with that, it's more profitable as you can trade actively, and if you are really good, you can easily grow your capital since sometimes the hype stays longer and some coins will significantly grow that would give you a good return.

I know we have different strategies, we follow what we think is easy but on these two, both are really profitable if you know how to play the game in the right way.

without having trading techniques then no one can find their profit.
That's a general statement, and everyone really needs that in order to succeed.

64% of votes favors in worth a wok .

I have been tired of joining airdrop or maybe this is not my forte so i gave up.

Also, I am surprised that so many users think that airdrops can bring them any profit.

Most airdrops are scams or worthless projects. The truth is, airdrops do projects that don't have the marketing funding. If the project has no marketing funds at the very beginning, there is no chance that it will be successful. Unfortunately, this is the case with most airdrops.

In my opinion, it is a waste of time and littering your wallet with worthless tokens.

If they have a lot of time they can spend it in a productive way, and working with bounties and airdrop seems productive since although the success rate is very low, you don't need to invest money to work for ti, who knows, one day you'll hit the jackpot, so it's still worth a try.
