2821  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Impact of drinking alcohol. on: July 04, 2017, 11:34:28 AM
Drinking everyday definitely isn't good for your health.
Drinking sometimes with friends partying isn't bad, but drinking alone is a big no no.

Drinking alone is the best. If you drink alcohol in groups, then there is a trend to consume more liquor. This in turn can be detrimental to your health. But if it is limited to once in a while, then I don't think that there should be any problem.
Drinking alone is a sign of alcoholism. I don't drink to get drunk and not in control of my mind. Alcohol for me is a process of communication and it is not integral to this process. The amount of alcohol consumed is governed by each person alone because the degree of alcohol tolerance from person to person.

Yes, the degree of alcohol tolerance varies from one person to another.  Although it is quite good to drink with friends or a group but be sure that there would be no criminality involves after.  Like a rape case for example, a girl here had a drinking spree with her friends who were all male.  After they were too drunk, this girl was raped.  I actually do not felt any mercy with the girl because it is her choice.  She already knows what will happened because it happened sometimes.
2822  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Robot wars: Japan agrees to fight America in giant "Battlebots" duel on: July 04, 2017, 11:30:47 AM
Of course that would be Japan.  They are very good in robotics and we all can see that in certain establishments like hotel wherein the receptionist is a robot.  They are the first one to make a robot I think.  And maybe they already perfected every aspects of it.  Well I do not under estimate America because they are also good.  But I am Asian so I will both for Japan.   Tongue
2823  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What do you think of North Korea? on: July 04, 2017, 11:18:48 AM
Well maybe they launches that missile for a test but not to have a war.  Maybe other countries are just over acting whenever the NorKor will launched a missile.  I just watched a video wherein a white guy travelled the North Korea.  He said that when he was on tour with other people the tour guide always reminded them to comply on what they said.  They are very strict.  But to have a travel tour on that country, then it means they are not really bad.  That country do not really represent what the media tells us.
2824  Other / Off-topic / Re: What will the world be like in 100 years on: July 04, 2017, 11:07:48 AM
Monsters?  Aliens like that?  Do not watch too much okay! Grin  But I also wonder what will be the Earth looks like after a century.  Maybe and a more possible answer is the advancement of technology.  Maybe more robots.  The best thing is, bitcoin is the alternative way to buy, sell, invest or trade.  It is used by many or all of the people around the world.  Technology crossed even the remote places.  But I hope that destruction of earth like global warming would not be part of it.
2825  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Health and Religion on: July 04, 2017, 11:04:17 AM
Science is too backward to understand God.

You speak as if you had seen God and knew where exactly God is.

Has many years and to this day does not have at least a single person who says that he saw and talked with God

How do you expect people to believe in God?

Why is it so difficult for God to show Himself that God really exists?

No reason for god, angels and heaven remain hidden

EXACTLY!  Kiss
God must do something in order for all people to believe in him.
Miracles and Bibles are not enough for all people to believe in God.
I think we really need to see God, and God should talk to all people.

Don't you ever go outside and look at nature? How much more does God have to show you before you will understand that He exists?

Cool

If God wanted us to know he exists, he would know exactly what to do. Yet he chooses to not do it and then punish people for it. I don't really understand how anyone thinks that makes sense, oh well, religiotards

Cheesy

He will not show up just for us to believe Him.  He is God.  We are nothing to Him.  Yet He loves us unconditionally.  We are like flowers here today and gone tomorrow.  We are like waves tossed in the ocean.  We are nothing. We have to seek Him with all our hearts if we want to know Him.  He is not punishing us if He will not show Himself to us.  He do not needs us.  But we need him.
2826  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Evolution is a hoax on: July 04, 2017, 10:58:09 AM
Creationism is testable...
You can test whether the universe is older than 6,000 years... turns out, it is
You can test whether god could create light before creating the sun and stars... or creating plants before the sun (bad idea; god didn't really think this creation plan through)
We have artifacts from civilizations older than 6,000 years!
We have artifacts from Egypt dating across the entire period where a "global flood" is claimed to have killed everyone (i.e. the flood didn't happen either)
We have fossils that are millions of years old!
You can test many aspects of the creation hypothesis, and it fails every test

I disagree that creationism is testable, though I do agree with everything else you say. Perhaps it is splitting hairs but since we are trying to be precise in our language I would argue that yes the *arguments* that creationists often use some are testable but the actual one and only hypothesis of creationism, that God created everything, is absolutely untestable. We can debunk every strawman or logical fallacy that creationists throw up but they will just move the bar, because it's not reasoned discovery of the truth that they are interested in, it's confirmation of already held beliefs only. Their arguments are shields, not real scientific discourse. That's the point, creationism is in no way shape or form science.

Really picking at hairs here... everyone knows you can't prove a negative, right?

I was simply pointing out that creationism, as described in the bible... is testable... it definitely did not happen the way the bible claims it happened... same goes for any religious text...
Every creation story has testable elements, and every creation story is invariably flawed

Creationism (from any religion) would not even rank as a Scientific Theory as Evolution does... Creationism would not even rank as a hypothesis... creationism is pure fail city

Also the bible itself is testable. It is supposed to be the word of god but has so many mistakes and contradictions that it debunks itself. Creationism does not have any more evidence than the bible. Which they never proved to be accurate or relevant in the first place. It's fine that people want to question evolution but don't bring creationism into it.

I did not study a masters degree and even not a scholar.  Does not have expertise.  But how can you say that the Bible is testable?  So you are believing to that evolution?  It is a theory.  All the science explanation to something that still unknown and have not a clear explanation are always theories.  All answer about the creation is found in the Bible.  Does not have to profound how God created the Earth.  It does not need to state that the plants were created which have these enzymes to become a plant.  God is God.  Alpha Omega.  Beginning and the End.  He is God.  Supreme.  Creator.
2827  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is violence really the key to a drug-free country? on: July 04, 2017, 10:47:55 AM
violence is necessary to fight illegal drug.

Violence must be the last option. In my opinion, the government must try other avenues such as legalization, awareness campaigns, community education.etc before using violence against the drug paddlers and the users. But from what we are seeing, they are directly using extreme force without considering about any other option.

That would not be enough.  Do you think that the government do not do all that you suggested?  All were aware what illegal drugs can do to you and to others.  Just do not listen to Calamard and the professor guy that said that meth does not do anything harmful to our body.  In a country were killings were caused by drug addicts violence is the only option.  It is better to have those addicts be killed or jailed rather than innocent people be killed by them.
2828  Other / Politics & Society / Re: When will Religions die? on: July 04, 2017, 10:44:33 AM
religion wont die because people want something to believe in.
many more religion will just continue to arise and the only thing that would cause religion to vanish is when there are no more people.

I agree that there will be more religion to arise because some do not want or unhappy with their current religion. They will make another one to adopt the good things on it and change those which they do not want and improves it.  And like what you said religion will not die because we want something to believe in.  And religion is a good thing because it really helps you in life.  It makes you feel closer to God.  As long as it teaches what is in the Bible.
2829  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if Governments Shutdown the Internet? on: July 03, 2017, 03:41:16 PM
I think it will never happen because the internet access is vital for today's economy. Almost 70% of businesses always use internet access in performing their work every day. And it's not just bitcoins that always use internet access to make transactions of its use.

Yes it is true.  It is very impossible that it will happen.  There would be a war if that is the case.  The government will not do that because they will be the number one that will face several problems.  The economy will fall down because of the busnesses that will shut down if the government will shutdown the internet.  The country would be lame and for sure no one wants for that to happen.
2830  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in bitcoins today and be a millionaire in the future! on: July 03, 2017, 03:35:23 PM
This phrase would be more actual in 2008-2010 year. Today to buy bitcoin per 2600$ to be rich in the future is just crazy to me. I can't but even 1/4 of BTC today, what to tell about buying of at least 1 BTC! Grin
Yes, I heard of this kid and I'm very happy to him and his parents, because of I doubt he would provide it himself in such young age.
For those people who puts trust on bitcoin on a early day it is a more true thing for them. But for me it is still possible for people for now because bitcoin is still developing its price and system for transactions , resulting for more people to used bitcoin as a currency on a daily way. And the movement of price will still moved for the better future and for a better economy of bitcoin.

Yes and I wish I was one of them.  But who knows hopefully one day will be able to become part of those people who become rich with bitcoins.  It is really possible to have some millionaire on bitcoins.  They are maybe really good in every aspect of it.  Investing and trading.
2831  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people are asking you about Bitcoin now? on: July 03, 2017, 03:26:24 PM
There are many people asking me about bitcoin now .. they simply feel I earn a lot of money from btc they want to learn.
It is a good thing that many people want to earn money.  It is better indeed to earn some money rather than watching netflix all day long.  One of my co employee asked me about it today and I was like, here it goes, this what you should do.  Give the bitcoin talk link and must do.  And then this one friend of mine who is rich is asking me also about it.  Kind of reluctant because I do not want him to look down bitcoin.
2832  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is instant way to get rich ? on: July 03, 2017, 03:15:51 PM
Well yes partly.  Partly because if you have many bitcoins then you are already rich instantly.  But if you are new to it like me, and do not have many bitcoins then it would not be instant because you have to work hard.  You need perseverance and patience in earning bitcoins.  Same thing with investing or trading.
2833  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is BTC for you? on: July 03, 2017, 03:13:09 PM
For me BTC is the alternative way to earn, to sustain our needs in life.

Yes everyone are here because of many reasons and that is the one.  I have a day job but still I prefer to earn an extra so I can buy something more that my salary cannot.  Aside from its ability to give us extra income, we can use it to some things like investing on it or even paying bills.
2834  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do people hate? on: July 03, 2017, 12:12:18 PM
Some people hate because they are insecure, also as a result of surpressed anger

Yes that is always the reason why people hate someone because they are insecure, jealous, or cannot be on your level.  They may also be victims of their past.  Their experiences were not good for them that is why they tend to hate easily.   Maybe we just and should understand them.  And in return, maybe we give them some attention, kindness, and more love.
2835  Other / Politics & Society / Re: If you kill cow, then you will be killed. on: July 03, 2017, 12:02:34 PM
Pass that religion, It's good for cows. That's it. More rights neeeded for animals they don't differ from us.

Yes basically it is because of the tradition or beliefs of their religion.  So if you are a member of that religion then you should obey it.  If you do not like that and you want to taste a beef, then go out of that religion, simple as that.  Though of course, they are also created by God and they have rights.  The government should of course do something for those who will be accused of that law.  No one should be killed for killing a cow unless he is a Hindu.

No reason for god, angels and heaven remain hidden

So upon mentioning that "no reason for god, angels and heaven remain hidden" you already saw the opposites of them?  You believe in demon and hell and already saw them maybe because for you God, angels and heaven remains hidden.  Well, it is really become a debate if we talk about God.  Many believe and some little do not.  To end this, maybe we should just respect our each others opinion.  According to the Bible, You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.  God said that.  So, basically to believe is to see.  And I believe in Him.  The mere fact that I am here and breathing is the evidence that God is here.
2837  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Negative effects of technology on: July 03, 2017, 11:51:02 AM
Maybe lack of movement if you spend long periods in front of your pc. Not good for the  body.

The blame should be put on the individual and not on the technology. I know a few guys who are addicted to their PCs, playing computer games. Their family members have tried every trick in the book to encourage them to shed this habit, but it was of little use.
That's true, don't blame the computer for having a bad health, discipline is needed on using or even creating technologies.

Well true.  We should use computers and other gadgets created by this technology.  It is us who is responsible for what happening to our health, or to anything.  Discipline is needed.  It is true, all these games and applications are truly addictive and I am one of them.  But the important thing is you should know when to stop.  Do not let technology uses us.  We should use them.
2838  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Where would society be without the internet? on: July 03, 2017, 11:47:28 AM
I would say the crime rate/ rape rate and totally rates of everything would've been 10 times of the current rates, population of earth would be 12 billions people, pretty much people would have so much of spare time and that's not good. and you are forgetting something here, things like internet and bitcoin are inevitable to exist. if you want to know how would it be without anything just look at history and the times before them ever existed.
Society without internet? look at the years before internet, how was the situation before it?
True, let's just look on the positive sides of the internet for the help it gives on the users
definitely, negative effects of it will be experienced for abusing internet.

Yes crime rates become high because of the internet.  Games which you can kill people and youth become addicted to it.  They suddenly become the game and thinks that they can kill anyone.  Rapes that because of the many sites that offer instant pleasure many became sexually addict and want to try it in real life.  The result is not only rape but early pregnancy for teens.  But let us not look on the negative side but on the positive side.  It helps students to finish their homeworks fast so they can play games and watch porns.   Tongue
2839  Other / Politics & Society / Re: A beautiful disaster for the Philippines on: July 03, 2017, 11:43:43 AM
the president sure is doing some nice cleaning in his country. He may be misunderstood at time (mostly by media) because of his vulgar way of speaking but his vision for his country is good Smiley

No one cares about the language as long as he does the job properly. His popularity ratings are sky high, and only a few corrupt politicians and the drug kingpins are complaining against him. And he should ignore the media. Let them bark.
Well, he is really straightforward with what he wants and tells everyone what he thinks is right, he just doesn't do anything without any consent because he has counsel and I hate the corrupt politicians like Trillanes whose goal is only to destroy his term or to put him away as president. If you think about it, they are only mad because they have under the table deals probably and he's not focusing on the country's problems.

That dumb ass senator.  It so pathetic for those who voted him before.  He do not know what he is talking about everytime.  It seems that he elected as a senator just to be a detractor of the current administration.  He is completely insane.  You are right, they might just have under the table deals and because the President is not corrupt they are having a hard time to do all these dirty things.  May our President have more years in life.
2840  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trumps Travel Ban? (Round 2) on: July 03, 2017, 11:30:47 AM
Five months in and Trump still hasn't figured out "what's going on" ? In fact he has caused a crisis in the Middle East that could cause a regional war (another one) by playing buddies with Saudi Arabia, the main people responsible for radical Islam's existence !

He's caused a crisis? Bull.

Hillary Clinton caused a crisis. Obama caused several crises.

Trump got the ME leaders together quite nicely recently.

Was Iran there ? No, of course. He caused the crisis with Qatar with that "get together" where he sided with the worst of radical islamists, against more moderate (but not good, don't get me wrong) Iran. Now a war with Iran is very possible because of Trump.

So to wrap it all, US is behind all these crises.  I am near to believe that the US is behind every terrorist.  That they funded them to gain control on the Middle East countries because these countries are rich in oil.  If they have control with it then maybe they would be really the super country in the world.  They stir up these countries because they cannot handle it.  Besides, according to what I have read, US have many debts.
