2821  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Beware of BITYX . COM Exchange Total scam lost 5100 $ in USDT & Bitcoin on: December 17, 2022, 05:57:58 AM
Since account hasn't changed email and/or password lately, I think its more likely that they just hired that Legendary account to publish their ANN, thinking it will somehow make them more legit. Anyway, regardless ofof why account is promoting this scam exchange, I've tagged it and raised Flag Type 1  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=3067

Supported!

At the time of change of hands allegation, the account did change its email according from the posts, although not the password which was weird...still, it had an evident change of posting pattern: account started posting in russian boards - i know bilingual people exist but the account has also stopped posting in the german boards where they have been a regular since they registered. Further, they didn't do anything despite the negative tags considering that they appear to trade regularly using the account which is why I'm learning towards change of hands.

According to BPIP.org there is a change of password in 2019 there's a possibility that there is indeed a change of hands on this account, I supported the flag and their campaign here in Bitcointalk is finally over now that they are tagged and expose

2822  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Just how bad is the bear market right now? on: December 16, 2022, 10:42:54 PM
Just how bad is the bear market right now?
Historically low prices have endured for a longer period of time in the present bear market cycle than in any other.

It's bad because I still keep seeing that bad news about FTX and about people whining about their losses and the market having a hard time moving up because of too many FUD this 2022 is one of the hardest years for the industry as two of the platforms in the industry Luna and FTX gave us the biggest fiasco in the history of the industry, 2022 is forgettable but we must not lose hope 2023 is just a year for another halving and there will be more great news coming to stop from the likes of FTX and Luna from happening again.
2823  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: turned gambler after investing in BTC or investor turned gambler? on: December 16, 2022, 01:10:38 PM

Are you a gambler that become an investor or an investor that turned into a gambler?

I really don't like to gamble online but I do have experience playing in casinos back then you need credit card and bank account to play something I don't want to use to gamble as its risky and my credit limit is just enough to my household purchase, but after the popularity of Cryptocurrency and many online casinos using Cryptocurrency I was tempted to play, its fun easy and cheap I remember my first deposit was $10 worth Doge so from investor I become a gambler, but there's a lot of risk playing in casino than investing or trading I found that out after losing huge amount of money.
2824  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Go-to casino on: December 16, 2022, 11:19:32 AM
Hi guys, just interested what are your casino's of choice? Or just general online sites?
And what are your go-to games?

It just happens that I'm on this campaign but everything that is on this casino is real and can be verified they have a claim to be the number one casino in the industry I'm talking about Stake.com and these are just some of their achievement anbd these achievements is what makes them have an edge over their competitors.

and they got celebrities as ambassador

Adesanya as Stake Ambassador

One celebrity wagered over $1 billion
Drake’s Stakes: The Canadian Rapper Who Wagered Over $1 Billion In 2 Months

They have the longest marketing campaign here you just have to look around and see the huge numbers of participants wearing their banners.
2825  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Can we suffer at some exchange due to some of their services' breach? on: December 16, 2022, 08:00:44 AM
Centralized means centralized, doesn't matter how good it is. Using centralized means we already compromised our privacy. Though sometimes we don't lose funds we have been losing our data during the data breach. Even top exchange Binance is not out of data breach. So day by day it's become impossible to trust any exchange whether with our funds or data. There is no solution except dex or swap where we can't find our desired coins sometimes.

Am I the only one wishing that the top exchanges in the industry are all DEX but is unlikely to happen because investors are into so many coins and the lack of liquidity makes them turn to centralized exchanges because these centralized exchanges are good at manipulating the price and adding liquidity to attract users to trade on their platform, we either choose DEX or there should be regulation that will monitor the behavior of these centralized exchanges.
A centralized exchange is a necessary evil in this industry whether we like it or not.
2826  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Better Ways To Manage Energy Consumption For Casino Centers. on: December 16, 2022, 02:37:08 AM
Of all the industries the live casino industry is hard to manage or save energy consumption people want to see glittering lights and all electrical run equipment running, this is what people came here and they spend just to be here not only to play but also to have a memorable experience because people are by nature are attracted to glittering lights, Go GREEN is good but it should be on areas that the solar can keep up powering but when it comes to machines and billboards which needs a huge electrical consumption, they have to evaluate between consumption and profit.
2827  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What New And Other Casinos Should Do To Get To The Top And Edge Top Casinos on: December 15, 2022, 03:37:03 PM
New casinos should focus on giveaways and marketing first, massive and continuous marketing will do the wonder and when they gain players they should launch giveaways and should have a dedicated forum representative that will address all concerns, reputation is very important it ranks high on what gamblers are looking for a casino they want to have a peace of mind playing knowing that if they win a big amount they will get their winnings as long as they play within the rules of the casino.
2828  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tipping during live slot, or casino games. on: December 15, 2022, 01:42:02 PM
It's a part of tradition it's not obligatory but it can tell the kind of person you are if you're winning when you are tipping the guy who guides when you need it so tip if you win a big amount, there is such a thing as a lucky attendant and I know a friend who keeps winning in a slot because of the nice attendant who always wish him well everything he makes a spin, so as a sign of goodwill its good to tip even a small amount.
2829  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Gemini allegedly hacked, 5.7 million emails leaked on: December 15, 2022, 03:57:42 AM
As the title said, (allegedly) yet another exchange got hacked, this time "only" emails and partial phone numbers got leaked. All those having accounts there, get ready for phishing emails.

Cryptocurrency exchange Gemini appears to have suffered a data breach on or before Dec. 13. According to documents obtained by Cointelegraph, hackers gained access to 5,701,649 lines of information pertaining to customers’ account numbers, email addresses and partial phone numbers. In the case of the latter, hackers apparently did not gain access to the full phone numbers, as certain numeric digits were obfuscated.

The leaked database did not include sensitive personal information such as names, addresses and other Know Your Customer information. In addition, some emails were repeated in the document; thus, the number of customers affected is likely lower than the total rows of information.

I don't want to call it good but it's still good that important information is not included those Gemini account holders should be ready to receive scam and spam emails this is why with so much hacking going on I prefer to hide my main email and only use emails specifically for exchanges, trading and other subscriptions and am I very quick to hit the spam button even if the title of the email is very tempting to open.
2830  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is your local game includes in online casino ? on: December 15, 2022, 02:58:29 AM
It's very rare for a local game to be included in a casino that uses game providers like Evolution should be added by game providers to for it be added to casinos and game providers prefer to only install games, gamblers are most familiar with but if there are local games that gain popularity and there is a huge request from casino operators then they will likely add it, only dedicated casino for that game can we see a local game and they usually for local gamblers.
2831  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New Solution to Address the Problem of Gambling in Australia. on: December 14, 2022, 11:32:22 PM
Sportsbet, an Australian betting giant, has said that it will support any move to prohibit the use of credit cards for gambling. The operator said that this type of payment method promoted a “play now, pay later” culture which was detrimental to the well-being of players and consumers. Here is a summary of the news below

The problem:Gambling with credit cards is high-risk in nature and could have serious financial consequences.
It really is a high risk which is why some casinos offered it, when Cryptocurrency is not yet in existence and gamblers can play using bank and credit cards many become in huge debt because it's hard to stop when you have a credit line.

Quote
Proposed solution: Responsible Wagering Australia is putting forth a new interactive gambling legislation should block operators from offering credit cards as viable payment methods.
They can only do that at local casinos but at international casinos, they can request them to prevent their citizen from using their credit card.

Quote
What other solutions can you think of?
This is already a good solution and will have an impact on gamblers in their jurisdiction but concentrating more on educating their citizen on the harm of gambling is still the best solution.

2832  Other / Archival / Re: who played here? on: December 14, 2022, 10:34:42 PM
Has anyone played at this casino www.dexterbet.com ? Share reviews about them who have dealt with them or maybe someone knows a good casino with identical odds to their sportbook. Thank

The community is not familiar with this casino but checking on whois it's a new casino and hasn't done marketing yet this casino is already in its 11th month of existence they should do massive marketing, new casinos can only keep up with the competition if they do massive marketing, not good if they offer games and giveaways and no marketing of their giveaways, they should also brand itselves.

2833  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why every casino got bad habits? on: December 14, 2022, 02:56:34 PM
If you have a look at the scam accusation section, you will find that no casino has a good reputation there. Each and every casino which has their ANN thread here, has at least one complaint against them; sometimes confiscated funds, delayed withdrawal, not paying the winning, freezing account etc. Why this is the principal of all the casinos? Why they can't operate without having any issues? They always do this shit; who knows what has been done with people who don't know how to deal with such a casino. Can you show me a thread that never had any reputation issues on this forum?

A casino can have a lot of scam accusations but still enjoy the trust of the community and its representative respected that's because these accusations are baseless, cannot hold ground, and backfire on those who file these complaints this is a forum, anyone is open to creating an accusation but they need to have solid proof and can prove without a doubt that they are right and the casino is wrong, all the top casinos here like Stake, Duelbits and other top casinos have a lot of accusations but they still enjoy the trust of the community because those accusations fell short.
2834  Other / Off-topic / Re: Messi is closer to his dream on: December 14, 2022, 02:04:43 PM
The whole world is wishing Messi to win his first World Cup of course he is already a legend because of what he achieved in the past but a World Cup title is something any footballer and country wants to have I'm sure this is something Messi wanted badly and he could get this the way he and the team play, France or Morocco they'll win the Cup, I'm going to watch this final game even though I'm not a football fan, as our country is not Football crazy nation.
2835  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Naoya Inoue vs Paul Butler - Undisputed Bantamweight Bout - December 13 on: December 13, 2022, 01:28:45 PM

A good fight for both Butler and Inoue, strategy wise both fighters adjust and fight according to how they see their chances can give
them the favor, not that much but good enough to stay standing for Butler.

Again, for those who expect for an early KO Butler disappoint you all, he circulates inside the ring as expected.

I'm surprised that the fight lasted that long I don't think Inoue is challenged in this fight it's just Butler does not want to engage and Inoue is looking for the right time to unload his big punches the right time happened in the 11th round, there's nothing more to conquer or challenge him in the Bantamweight division, so he is on the next weight category lets see if he will conquer that category too, as he moves up there's a lot of challenges on those weight categories.
2836  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there any Live Casino In world that Accept Cryptocurrency and pay in crypto? on: December 12, 2022, 09:18:07 PM
There are already and since they are physical casinos there's little information on the internet, you have to trade Cryptocurrency for chips to be able to bet, I just don't know if many are paying Cryptocurrency because Cryptocurrency is highly volatile so its a case to case basis for every casino, it is accepted in a country where Cryptocurrency is a very popular and accepted form of payment in the future where major industries in the world adopt Cryptocurrency, majority of live casinos all over the world will accept as a form of payment.
2837  Economy / Gambling / Re: Spiroll.app V2 Available! - New Crypto Casino - Instant Withdrawals! on: December 12, 2022, 01:26:55 PM
I will stay away from your site after your reply about your bankroll before

SCAM ALERT! Don't play on this site --> Spiroll.app

Before you said, the max win is $5,000,000 but your bankroll only $250,000 which 20x lower than max winning amount. Imagine someone lucky to won more than $250k on your site, then...

Hello everyone! I was really upset when I saw this thread. It is very offensive that you slander without knowing why the topic was deleted. Yes, I deleted the topic. Our developer team found a big bug and I had to delete the thread hastily. After that i stopped the website. You are right in some of the comments. Big win was so high and we decreased it to $500.000. But we didn't scammed anyone! Playing or not is up to you. But before you slander, you have to ask the reasons. Thanks to everyone.

I agree with you that there’s no scam being done yet but you should be clear on what you are declaring before you put details about your casino here. There’s tons of new casino popping up here that turns to a scam. Although his conclusion base on your latest activity is harsh though.

Prove that you really have the bank roll to sustain your bets if you want to clear your reputation. Without this I myself will believe on the accusation which you dodge on your previous thread. Besides your thread deletion move will surely give a sign that you are guilty for there accusation. I’m just still giving you the benefit of the doubt since you still came back with same account to post much clearer details for your thread.

Prove your bankroll to make it simple.

What we have here is a potential scam, Casinos exist and continue to operate because of trust if you have a bad start like this I don't think you will have a successful operation its hard for a new casino to have questions about their capability before they even start their operation, could have been different if the casino is operating for many years since your bankroll is the one that is being questioned I support Beparanf suggestion to prove your bankroll but the decision is still yours, there could be another way to prove your honesty, it's your move to give it a try.
2838  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Manny Pacquiao vs. DK Yoo on: December 12, 2022, 11:40:13 AM
Wonder though was will be the numbers in terms of viewership and how much they raised in this fight.

I can't find details in the internet, so probably it was confidential but I'm pretty sure they still make money in that fight though not as big as what Mayweather made in his exhibition fights. Manny has entertained the crowd, he should continue fighting to inspire boxers that there's still life in boxing  after retirement.

There are not many people in the audience and it's not even a pay per view they will make money through sponsorships but knowing Manny he will do things for charity but since he is still strong in the ring he should do more exhibitions but I like him to be active in training and promoting Filipino boxers he has the means and the connection he can produce more Filipino champions because he has big promotions.
2839  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: airdrops campaign on gleam and other platforms. on: December 12, 2022, 06:01:08 AM
just think when we Reach the limit of Telegram channels And groups or discord servers we cannot join channels, groups or servers on discord or Telegram . So when we participating for Airdrops campaigns we've to add another Telegram or discord account to  Gleam and other platforms usually .

So adding another account  and disconnecting current discord or telegram account is a reason to be disqualified for ongoing Airdrops? ( Which we participated with current discord or telegram account ) I mean is that a trouble making option to previous Airdrops we have participate before linking new discord and Telegram account?

could anyone give me a better answer please. thank you all.

I am not an active airdrop and giveaway participant but I used to participate in the Gleam contest, and about your question yes you will be disqualified or they will not count your entry, you should be in their channel for the duration of the contest until they picked their winners if on the new airdrop will not allow you to join then you have to choose between old campaigns that are not yet counted and the new one that you are joining, when it comes to Gleam contest it's hard to cheat they check and they update your points, Gleam contest and giveaways are always random you are not guaranteed to win.
2840  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gervonta Davis VS Hector Luis Garcia SAT, JAN 07, 2023 on: December 12, 2022, 12:06:53 AM
Everyone is rooting for Davis to win by KO.. well, I'm not surprise because considering his record and his opponent, this fight will likely end up in a Knock out, of course in favor of Davis as we know who is the better fighter here. I missed this event, I thought he doesn't have a tune up fight, but thanks to one of the posters in this forum, he pointed me to this thread. I'll follow the conversation of this thread.  Smiley

He'll win by knockout, of course, I hate this trend of so many cherry-picked fights and warm-up fights, Fury, Spence, Crawford, Garcia, Davis, and Beterbiev all of them have warm-up fights before fighting their respective rivals, not doing the boxing community good we boxing fans don't want to see cherry-picked fights, there's no excitement on these kinds of fights, it's very rare to see upsets on cherry-picked fights, we want to see two even and equal in talent fighters fighting in the ring.
