28381  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Quick question, kano.is or slushpool? on: November 07, 2016, 05:25:25 AM
Bitcoin.com has a mining pool now, it could still be in beta i believe so if you need an invite just let me know and I'll see what I can do.
It's just antpool - trying to hide the fact that they are getting larger, but splitting their hash rate across another pool.

Also - current Reward
"PPS - 0 fee"
 soon to be
"PPS - 1.5% fee"

Any PPLNS pool that includes transaction fees has a higher expected payout than that.

My pool for example:
Transaction fees have averaged over 3% for about 6 months or more (and have grown since then too)

So the "expected" payout (that we usually pay more than) is greater than PPS + 1.1%
The 1.1% comes from: pool fee of 0.9% and expected orphans of 1%

The difference is:
Do you want exactly PPS (or PPS - 1.5%) every day, or do you want a varying payout that's expected to be PPS + 1.1% or more?

Seems most people prefer to be paid less Tongue

On kano.is we've only had one month since March where the average PPS reward was less than "PPS - 1.5%"
August was "PPS - 3.16%"

September was "PPS - 1.33%" and all others since March have been above PPS - e.g. June was "PPS + 11.59%" ...

I mine with your pool. I think anyone with 1th  or more should  mine at your pool.
I have 24th pointed your way.

And I finally got parts to build a one board s9 which will be pointed your way.
28382  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: 16nm ASIC, 10THS/MINER,100w/THS on wall. on: November 07, 2016, 05:12:32 AM
I'm not sure, but my gut tells me scam Undecided
the time will prove it.

yeah time has proven you are a scammer. Where is my zec cloud mining payouts? I purchased 150 h/s but you have delivered nothing...no daily payout and nothing close to the 150 h/s promised.

Sorry to,hear this.

He never contacted me so I think he may not be too good to buy from.
28383  Economy / Computer hardware / Wanted s-9 shell or s-7 shell on: November 07, 2016, 03:14:14 AM

Since no one already mentioned it yesterday.
Note the last diff change (yesterday) was only 0.395% Smiley

And to follow up  it is very low at the moment

Can one use Claymore to mine ZEC via GPU and CPU at the same time?

Not sure.  I do claymore and zcash.

That works.

I think I phrased that poorly...

I want to use Claymore to mine zcash on my GPUs. Claymore does not support CPU zcash mining as far as I can tell. Can you use a different program to mine zcash on the CPU?

yes I pointed it out a few posts back on page 49  note the zcash.flypool link     that is what I meant when I wrote zcash

I understood you  but was on my iPad  which I hate  for adding links I am now on my mac mini thus links for you

Download, configure and run our modified nicehash CPU miner

Download: Github
Choose from the following stratum servers:

Europe: eu1-zcash.flypool.org:3333
US: us1-zcash.flypool.org:3333
China: cn1-zcash.flypool.org:3333
Asia: asia1-zcash.flypool.org:3333
Start your miner using the following command. User your Zcash address as username (can be a t or z address)

nheqminer.exe -l <server> -u <address>.<worker>
Full examples

nheqminer.exe -u  t1d81R73LY4tX9y1VskH6gJELH3PfCvGwz5.rig1  -l us1-zcash.flypool.org:3333 -t 3

-t 3  is an addon if you have 3 threads
-t  6 is an addon if you have 6 threads

note  I believe you should try  -t 2 ,  - t 3  , -t 4  if you have a quad core

and -t 4 , -t 5 ,-t 6 ,-t 7, - t 8 if you have an i7  quad that hyperthreads

my results vary  depends on mobo and cpu

Along these lines I have an older spare controller.

So can I copy its firmware file?

Skip the middle man.  Just send  some btc to his address.

I can't find it anywhere within reach....

His btc address is in my signature.
28388  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v2.0 on: November 06, 2016, 09:35:41 PM

So version 2 is pretty much a waste for rx series.

I am better off doing version 1. For gpus

And zcash for my CPU.

I get 26h for my i7 6700t and 135 h for my four rx cards.

But. This version seems godlike for older cards.

Leave this version as it is and rx cards will switch back to eth coin.

For now I use claymore for eth. And zcash for CPU .

This is better then claymore for Zec and zcash for CPU version 2.

28390  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Chinese police raid miner factories in its oil capital city, 1k+ miners seized on: November 06, 2016, 06:34:35 PM
Here is google  and I say it happened.  Seems pretty clear cut.

Gear looks to be s-2 s-4 s-5 and maybe dragon miners
so the only way they can make money is stolen power.

12000 machines at 1-2th is only 10 or 20 ph  still most likely a lot more out there.

this is good news.  my hope is the s-7 farms stealing power get caught. (if they exist)

28391  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v1.1 on: November 06, 2016, 06:08:33 PM
can someone please help me

I was getting 33sols before using other program

I switched to claymors and started getting less because I had really new drivers

so I downgraded to the right driver (brand new GPUS)

I had some issues getting my PC to recognise my gpus

however now its up and running

1gpu gets 40 solds and the other gpu is only getting 10 sols... whats happening?

i then switched it to etc to see if it made a difference

an now i have 1gpu hashing at 25mhs and 1 gpu hashing at 4mhs

why the hell is one of my cards going super slow

its temp is 55 and fan of 14% (looks to mee like its not working)

if anyone can help me i would be forever grateful

unplug the  25mhs card from the monitor then plug the 4mhs card into your monitor  then boot.

see if they go to   25mh + 25mh

the 4mh bug happens with sapphire cards often  do you have that kind of card?  if not sapphire  xfx?

also what amd drivers do you use now?

How do you know they were dormant?

feedback was a year old.

here is an active account

28393  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Quick question, kano.is or slushpool? on: November 06, 2016, 04:50:43 PM
sure:

Have you a lot or a little hash power?

If you are really low on hash power  under 500gh  mining at kano.is  may put you in the dust payment area.  You don't want to mine dust at kano pool.

as for luck:

 https://slushpool.com/stats/

77.06 %
Last 10 Blocks
85.02 %
Last 50 Blocks
99.54 %
Last 250 Blocks

the above is not so good.

and kano has been down from Aug to Nov around 95%

Profitability seems to match Eth now

The ZCash is still 100% more profitable to mine than the Ethereum. But if the price drops more, they will be even.

It looks like you are very wrong with this statement Smiley

Yes  and that is good.

it still has an edge on eth in cpu mining.

two even coins is good.   remember  eth really  gained  a lot on this  the diff dropped 20%.

AMD, Nvidia and Intel  have to be jumping up and down for joy.

As a long time miner of cryptocoins I am quite happy at the moment.

I have not broken it down  but at the moment  I point to both.

I have a lot of cpus        and 4 gpus    pointed at zcash, about 307 H/s.  make that 260H/s

I have no cpus        and 15 gpus  pointed at eth.   about 323 MH/s

Eth profitablity has increased a lot due to lower diff.  I do not mind the above split.  And I can shift it all or some in under 20 minutes.

I pushed/donated some hash rate to the Burger fund on Eligius a while back but they are experiencing quite a long run of bad luck right now. Maybe you could point us to a different pool with the Burgerfund that isn't your testing channel?

Skip the middle man.  Just send  some btc to his address.
28397  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: The World’s 1st Graphics Card Integrated Miner Is Shipping in November, 2016 on: November 06, 2016, 09:58:16 AM
Okay  what will it weigh?

20 kilos  or 44 pounds.  My rough guess.

How well will it ship?  Not very well my guess.

But if the op wants to ship one to me.

I will make a long thread with photos.

And I will buy it once I finish the thread. Or ship it anywhere he wants on my dime.

What I won't do is pay for it up front.

No one has mentioned how difficult shipping a big ass pc is.  I have done it and it is hard to do safely.
