2841  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Grin | PoW Mining | Electronic transactions for all. Community driven. on: January 09, 2020, 03:14:50 AM
Would Binance list a real community coin similar to Grin? I reckon Changpeng Zhao might do what they did to Jared and Digibyte. Demand a fee of 1/3 the supply hehehe.
I am curious why Binance has not yet listed Grin coin on their platform while they already listed BEAM. I have my feeling that Grincoin is much more favorited by altcoin-crypto community, rather than BEAM. BEAM tends to be more favorited in South of Korea.

Last but not least, if Binance listed Dogecoin, without developers' activities recent years, I think there are still probability to see Grin coin on Binance, sooner or later. The volume of Grincoin does satisfy Binance's criteria and the coin can bring profits from operations to the platform.
2842  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GOLD - First 100% Liquid Stablecoin Backed by Gold on: January 07, 2020, 01:58:40 PM
The article wrapped up what GOLD project has achieved months after its birthday. Thank you for making the article in which I find the point on the predicted and long-waited global crisis. I am not sure there will be a crisis like that in next years but what happened recent 2 weeks between the USA. and Iran as well as the financial-broke situation in China are very negative components for the global financial growths in near future. Maybe crisis will occur or maybe it will not but you won't lose anything by investing in GOLD. It's especially right for long term investment perspective. For the short and medium terms, from now, I am bullish with GOLD.
2843  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: January 07, 2020, 09:55:32 AM
including ETH still exists and still has a lot of followers to date even large holders too, I am only a small holder of ETH at least I believe this more than other Altcoins that may not necessarily be able to develop following the movements of bitcoin prices, bitcoin will continue to dominate all crypto markets , the price of ETH is still really cheap at this time where many people can afford to have 1 to tens of ETH of their savings, since yesterday ETH began to increase following the price of bitcoin
Good altcoin projects usually are developed behind the scenes by their teams. There is no convincible reasons to keep or stop developing altcoin projects just because bitcoin price is dumped or bitcoin's developments get stucked from (miners or developers' debates).

With the today price of ETH, I would say that invest in ETH in the long term is much better than invest in bitcoin, for now. ETH can make 5-fold increases or even higher, but what if with Bitcoin? 5-fold increase will lift its price to $35k, 10-fold increase will lift its price to $70k. It's too high to hope. I hope it will occur too but it is more realistic to anticipate the same increases for ETH and good altcoins.
2844  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: January 07, 2020, 03:16:15 AM
Bitcoin most definitely shows not only ETH but everything else out there who is king. The market dominance shown on CMC is around 68% at the moment and with so many fake trading volumes it might be impossible to ascertain the real figures but either way Bitcoin is way out in the lead.
Bitcoin is born as a Legend, more than 10 years ago, and over the past 10 years, it has shown that it is a invincible King of crypto currency market. Some years, mostly 4 years repeatedly, altcoins make their flippenings and bring the feelings that they or some of them can beat and take over bitcoin to be another King. They all failed with that and people, who have been in the market for too long enough will do recognize and remember who are always the King here.

Nevertheless, the good news for altcoin enthusiasts is good altcoins will still be there, they will not die. Good altcoins, not shit altcoins, though.
2845  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Grin | PoW Mining | Electronic transactions for all. Community driven. on: January 06, 2020, 03:49:15 PM
@Hueristic. Hehehe what do you imply with nothing? No website or that nothing is happenning in there?

I go there for the developer announcements. That forum needs more activity, however.
A sort of campaigns like Cryptotalk forum (that was paid in BTC), why not?

If Grin team want to run promotion, it is not a too bad idea.
Further consideration is if there is a campaign, it should be paid through Grin coin. This sort of payment will do help to make Grin coin become more popular and its liquidity as well as daily volume will be magnified considerably.

Anyway, recent days are good period for Mimble Wimble coins, from Grin coin to BEAM. Congrats all.
2846  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CLAM] CLAMs, Proof-Of-Chain, Proof-Of-Working-Stake, a.k.a. "Clamcoin" on: January 06, 2020, 03:44:26 PM
We just wanted to get information available and visual for people as fast as possible.

CSS is not X's strong suit... so putting it all on a single page maybe really fast or really slow... but for now, at least you can see the historic data.

I do plan on us having it all on 1 page because we want people seeing those charts by default.
Got it, BayAreaCoins. It is your good plan to build up more user-friendly exchange, for your exchange, and for CLAM community as well. I appreciated your time to build up such exchange from sratch. It does especially make more sense after CLAM deslited from its long-lasting exchanges months ago.

The exchange built by you and your team (?) is a very good preparation for the coming rally of Altcoins, this year or next year.
2847  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CLAM] CLAMs, Proof-Of-Chain, Proof-Of-Working-Stake, a.k.a. "Clamcoin" on: January 05, 2020, 01:28:49 PM
Trading and volume have still occured sparsely but at least they have gradually improved and increased. I checked the exchange and found that visitor or (users ?) have to click on "Check out our BTC_CLAM charts" to view the chart. Would you mind adding and displaying the chart by default, in the space between the columns for Bid and Ask, please.
2848  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GOLD - First 100% Liquid Stablecoin Backed by Gold on: January 03, 2020, 05:49:39 AM
In addition, Gold token different from other project claimed to be back by gold because it price is not decided by the arbitrage traders or crypto community but the price of purity gold in the market and Gold token reserved gold was not just safe in bullion vault but also audited by a reputable company ChainSecurity. Besides, the project is a self-funding project (no ICO,IEO, STO etc) not like others project claimed to back with gold but purpose to steal investors fund.
They made a good start for their business, months ago. I have good impression about them not only because their methods to back their Gold token by real gold, and is audited by the reputable company, but also in their approach to run their campaign. Only good posters, clean trusted users accepted to join in the campaign. As I saw from the spreadsheet, when I checked before applied to participate in this one weeks ago, most of participants in the campaign are well-known on the forum. They also chose good people to translate their information and play as ambassadors. IMO, they are legit.
2849  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PoS/MN] Gentarium (GTM) | Masternode hosting platform | Shared MN service on: January 03, 2020, 01:55:19 AM
You can familiarize yourself with the platform by clicking on the link https://loan.gtmcoin.io/
This is the last post of Gentarium developer on the forum, back in October last year. Fortunately, he has still been used the forum as I saw his last active day on the forum is at 31 December 2019. I hope that when holidays go away, he and Gentarium team will back to work and release a new plans for the project, with new update on what's going on with Gentarium project, with the loan platform during the last 2 moths.

The branch of crypto industry for masternode hosting platform has changed negatively in the latter half of 2018, and GINcoin made scam exit. That's a good news because Gentarium has less competitor but it is also a kind of bad news because from which we can imagine how tough the game has changed.

2851  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Obyte: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: January 02, 2020, 03:20:28 AM
That doesn't sound very decentralized if the DEX is doing KYC, but since Obyte has already Real Name Attestation built-in, the official DEX might ask some details of your private profile, don't know yet.
But, since it will be open-source DEX, anybody can run their own DEX with different pairs and without any KYC.
Thank you. There are limited decentralized exchanges and even they self-called as DEX, they are not truly decentralized. I asked for the information with KYC requirement plans from the team because months ago, the Crypto Bridge (an old DEX) asked for KYC aims at US. citizens first, then they moved to KYCs globally and finally they made scam-exit. That's terrible. I don't say DEX built by Obyte will be a scam one, just ask for plans and transparent information.
Not sure if Sports Betting on Obyte is so unpopular because of lack of features or limited amount of sports events. Autonomous Agents could make Sports Betting even more decentralized, but the basics are already there, getting people to even use the basic features is the problem https://bb-odds.herokuapp.com/
From the basics, it will be good for Obyte generally (volume, liquidity, acceptance and price at the end) if the betting features of Obyte will be spred out and used more popularly.
2852  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Obyte: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: January 01, 2020, 03:03:23 PM
Lortz if you are concerned with Bittrex's KYC, you can go to cryptox.pl, someone might sell in your order there.
I use the cryptox.pl for a long time ago, when I got troubles with KYC on Bittrex (they rejected my KYCs due to somethings relate to my selfie or ID image). That exchange worked fine for me that time, deposits and withdrawals were both fastly. Then, when my KYC on Bittrex successfully verified, I stopped using cryptox.pl exchange. One or two months ago, when I checked them again, they still have very little trading pairs, that is not good for them.

It's cool and it will be a great boost for the new year. From that article, I can not find any points relate to KYCs. How about the Obyte team plan for KYC (required or not) on the coming DEX?

By the way, regarding to future plans, how about promotions and / or coorporations with other parties to expand the betting features of Obyte? I think Obyte is good enough to be used widely over casinos.
2853  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | The Honest Online Casino | Daily Presents + $5000 Christmas Raffle on: January 01, 2020, 04:45:57 AM
Hey! We reached out to you about making this right. We're giving you your $150 giveaway win Smiley Hope you have a nice week!
It's another nice move, Roobet team. I understood that sometimes teams have to make decisions to adjust rule when cheaters come in and compromise the system. I am not Roobet team member so I did not know what actually caused your decisions to make rule adjustments, that affected the win of dkbit95 but maybe at the time the time implemented new rules, they did not realize that there are winners instantly affected by that adjustment.

In campaigns, companies and managers emphasize that they have rights to change rules at any time they want. As the others said, new rules should only be applied with new rounds, the last round before rules changed should be applied with old rules and people who satisfy requirements with old rules should be paid. That's all.
2854  Economy / Gambling / Re: 24kCasino - Quick Payout | Loyalty Rewards | Welcome Bonus | Bitcoin-ETH-LTC ✔ on: December 31, 2019, 11:53:12 AM
On deposit there is no KYC and with regards to the merchants you are correct we are required to follow a KYC policy, However, the requirements are not that stringent and we have been taking care of this extremely fast., one of the benefits is you can withdraw into other payment forms should you wish. i.e Wire transfer, also another benefit we have is being able to offer more software choice over other crypto-only casinos.

If depositing or withdrawing via Fiat currencies then KYC is required, if depositing and withdrawing via crypto KYC will not be required but if we see something suspicious We may ask for KYC.

I don't know why you're so negative. Try to find the positivity too. If someone registered with one country and his IP address from another country. Also if a certain software has informed us of card counting or we have picked up multiple bonus cases of abuse then these would be against our terms and conditions. We may ask for Kyc in these cases. We're a big company & we're here for our players to solve any issues they face using our casino.

If you're playing without doing anything wrong, there is nothing to be worried about. Do not hesitate to post your reviews after playing on our site.
All those things should be included transparently in Terms & Conditions, at https://www.24kcasino.com/en/static-texts/terms-and-conditions

Forced KYC;
Fiat (KYC required), crypto (KYC non-required)
VPS restrictions (users use VPS are restricted or will be required to do KYCs).
2855  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How best to secure your Private Keys and/or Seed phrase on: December 31, 2019, 11:43:55 AM
Never storing important things online, from bank accounts, identities, selfie images with your ID card (for KYCs, for instance), crypto exchange account information (passwords, 2FA codes), to private keys/ mnemonic seeds.

All of those things should be stored off-line.
2856  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be Careful to Write on: December 30, 2019, 11:25:57 AM
That is very very scary at how easy it is to make a mistake
Simply said:

Being careful with any links you click on to open, from emails, from messages, from bookmark pages, from any drafts you saved.
Always double check with sites you registered accounts on.
Keeps screens of your computers (laptop or desktop) as clean from dust as possible. Because if you feel familiar with dusts, you will probably not recognise phishing sites that use Punny codes. Sometimes they look like dusts on the screen.
2857  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Link Quote to External URL? on: December 29, 2019, 07:44:45 AM
I have a topic on this one: [TIPS] to avoid plagiarism (I updated my guide with the new quoting method I learned today).
What @o_e_l_e_o guided is great (I did not know it). Thank you.
I meant that one:
You can also make the website name itself clickable using the following code:
Code:
[quote="[url=www.example.com]Website name[/url]"]Text[/quote]

Which gives this result:
Quote from: Website name
Text

If OP want to add external URL links to images, I have a guide that was locked by admin.
Guideline on posting images (with size adjustments), hyperlinks

It’s indeed difficult as there’s no formula that can tell us who’ll score on the match day, and each week we can only rely on our gut feeling to pick the players hence it’s not possible to always get them right. This weekend I have selected Rashford, Martial, Greenwood and Pogba to score and I believe these four will definitely score tonight, what do you’ll think of my predictions?.
I think that odds to see Greenwood scores again is too low. I know there is a statistic that Greenwood has very good scoring rate among other players in the Man. Utd. squad. His rate is much better than Daniel James'. There are reasons why I thought Greenwood might not score this match, because maintaining good performance along the long period is always challenging for youth players, that is what Greenwood now.
2859  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Moving wallet from one phone to another on: December 27, 2019, 01:09:06 AM
I guess that you have not yet move your funds with seeds, even one time, haven't you?
If that is the answer, now it is the right time for you to practice both:
  • Moving your fund from one device to another with seeds
  • Recovering your fund with seed
When you finish it the first time, you will become familiar with it and won't fall into paranoid when you lose your old phone.

There is no risks when you moving your fund with seeds if:
  • You don't import your seeds to fake wallets (from phishing sites)
  • Your new devices are clean from threats (viruses, malwares, etc.)
  • Your seeds' backups are saved and kept off-line
I don't advise you to save your seeds' backup online. It is too dangerous.
Additionally, don't trust, verify fisrt before doing anything with your 'real' fund.

Newbies - Read before using exchanges or investing
Electrum wallet - Update safely and avoid phishing wallets?

Thank you Loyce. I did not know the option (lower-roman). I can not use any words to express my mood now. I appreciated your merit-lifting today. Happy holidays to you, Loyce.
