2842  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Not your keys, not your coins" on: June 22, 2022, 01:39:23 PM
It is possible in centralised exchange to recover your account by reset your password by email. But it is not possible to recover your account if you hold your coin on any decentralized all it like trustwallet or metamask etc. Because decentralized all it provide a security phase for import the wallet but centralised exchange  have email and password for login . So I think centralised exchange is safe for holding but decentralized exchange also a great opportunity for decentralized because decentralized wallet have a security key and it can easily access any wallet if you have that key. And it is not possible to hack in any way. But centralised exchange have  apossibility for hacking

2844  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casino Game on: June 22, 2022, 01:04:41 PM
I was thinking that "Casino" is gambling game played by players in this forum. Because I am seen the name everyday, so today I decided to find out how the game is all about.
When I googled the name, then I discovered that it is an establishment for different types of games. Such as: Dice, crabs, black jack keno etc. That is, it is a facility or a platform for gambling. Simply means. It is a building for games. https://www.quora.com/What-is-a-casino

And also. Most terms use in the gambling platform confused me so to contribute and comment is not easy. But I know for sure that it is for the mean time, I will get all for the free flow communication. But if there is any board that I can learn those terms. Please forward the links for easy and faster learning of the terms.
On the bitcointalk forum gambling section you can seen many gambling site announced and many learning topic available. You can read all of them for learning all about gambling and casinos . It will teach you properly how to play casinos and how to use gambling betterly
2845  Economy / Gambling / Re: I want to make a telegram live betting group… on: June 22, 2022, 01:00:45 PM
I’ve actually been using telegram for very very long but i dont really see any good live betting groups. Like people share their prediction and thoughts around kind… normally i see a lot of fixed scams, posting ridiculous odds and winnings, really sick and tired of these scammers. But i dont really know if it’s easy or good to make one telegram group.

I kinda like community to share and chat around you know, everyone discuss about their games and what to bet and all. So eitherway, i’ve created a telegram group for sports and casino betting discussion. Give me some advice and opinion to better improve my group… it will be good for you all to be part of it too.  Grin

https://t.me/sportsliveforum
It will good if you can manage your telegram channel properly without any scamming . In this case you should make private your channel and add only real user who want to join in your channel . All interested people you should provide them your channel link via pm . It will protect your channel from attacking by scammer

2848  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Litecoin - a lite version of Bitcoin. Launched! on: February 05, 2017, 01:52:15 AM

I asked, noticed something here at the moment of touching the support line for this coin. No answer, no interest.

Probably we will see the next price support line (lower price level), and devs will maybe do something for this coin.  The sooner, the better for this coin.

2849  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Litecoin - a lite version of Bitcoin. Launched! on: February 02, 2017, 01:46:37 AM
I have problem with the version 13.2.x.  I can't both resync or sync the blockchain from the beginning.

So I am still using the old Litecoin version 10.4.

Bitcoin 13.2 works ok.

Anoybody has similar problems?

It seems devs used some of the rc candidates or some of the development versions of Bitcoin to make/update this Litecoin version 13.2 ? (not the last official Bitcoin version 13.2)

2850  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is being told to people in High Schools about Bitcoin on: December 24, 2016, 12:09:55 AM
Five days ago, a friend of mine studying Economics at High School had a discussion with its teacher, regarding Bitcoin, since I told her about that. Here's what the teacher said :

1. That's illegal : He did not bring many proves here, just saying that since it has not been regulated as a currency, we were in a grey area, and something in a grey area is rarely something that will become totally white from one day to another. He added that the sole purpose of that was to buy all kind of drugs over the Internet.

2. It will crash : He said that he had studied Bitcoin's price evolution throught the time (what I doubt) and said her that being so constantly rising was a sign that it was not a viable project. Its proof : manipulated prices of things like silver or wheat are very stable !

3. Anyone clear in its head wouldn't use it : First, he doesn't recognise any kind of manipulation of the money and the danger that there is for people keeping all their savings in fiat. I know that because I had him as a teacher too some times ago. So trying to explaining him about the fact that there is a clear war against cash and evident facts, like that that shows our money need to be converted into something viable to be protected from massive surveillance, is useless. Him not understanding that, since its the best argument I have, I couldn't have replied. When she told him about the speed of transactions, he replied "we have PayPal", so I said me that it wasn't worth to ever try explaining anything. As a final point, he said again that the sole real use that is making standing apart is that you can buy drugs on the Internet...

4. Bitcoin at a bigger scale would fail : I couldn't explain you much what he said because what she told me wasn't very clear so I personnally did not understood, as her I presume how confuse her explaination was. To summarize, he said that it's still a little market and that it will fail to scale and will go back to close to nothing in value.

I'd like to get your feelings on that. Just call the arguments 1, 2, 3 and 4 and tell me what you would have replied back and what it does inspire you !

Truth is somewhere between. Smiley

1. I agree with gray area. Soon more regulated very likely.

2. Of course bitcoin will crash, but after the crash it will reach new highs. Too much speculators on bitcoin to fail. Smiley

3. I agree with teacher. But, everybody enough crazy will try to speculate with bitcoin and clones or similar altcoins. Smiley

4. Of course bitcoin would fail as currency. But bitcoin will not fail as speculative playing game often considered as Ponzi cyclic game - just like any other speculative instruments. Smiley

2851  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you believe banks will work with Bitcoin, you're delusional on: December 23, 2016, 11:56:37 PM
Sooner or later banks will attack at full force meaning that they will ally with governments and put on a full ban on bitcoin, by then we must have a software that is censorship resistant, decentralized and ready os pread the nodes in countries where its legal and also illegal to run nodes but running them through masked networks like tor. We can't never give up no matter what, banks will never cooperate they will attack so be ready.

Extremely fast growing size of the blockchain is the biggest enemy of decentralization. Smiley

People will not use their own wallets mostly, and they will go to online wallets as easy "solution" which is too much risky. I am not sure in fully decentralized solution of such problem.

2852  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you believe banks will work with Bitcoin, you're delusional on: December 23, 2016, 03:05:00 AM
Banks will never support Bitcoins, BUT, banks will in time develop their own cryptocurrencies.

Imagine Bank of England making it's own crypto currency, and BACKING it up with sterling pounds. Then you will see the bitcoin prize go to 0.

Bitcoin price will not go to the zero level because bitcoin has very big speculative value for Ponzi speculators.

2853  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you believe banks will work with Bitcoin, you're delusional on: December 23, 2016, 02:58:11 AM

If they want and decide so, bank could always create its own modified version of the bitcoin - bank's  new altcoin (one of the similar thousands in the future).

No need to accept bitcoin with so huge blockchain or additional undesirable security risks (seen at the many exchanges or online wallets stealings) at all.

2854  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is a good investment now, because... on: December 23, 2016, 02:39:51 AM
because it is limited , unlike fiat currency

The very best answer I think. Smiley

Other reasons include the speculative Ponzi games in which the most of the supporters believe and are trying to involve new believers, mostly. Smiley

2855  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Many Millions of People Use Bitcoin? on: December 23, 2016, 02:01:16 AM

How many people with the positive btc balance downloaded/updated whole blockchain this month?

I think less than 10% from that ones with the positive balance.

2856  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: I've read somewhere in 4 years the blockchain will be 700GB on: November 03, 2016, 11:41:41 AM
Let assume 10% growth of the blockchain monthly. Quite real assumption.

It means growth of 3x every year.

It means blockchain growth of 81x every 4 years.

Exponential low.

This may be somewhat slower or faster which depends on the real world acceptance of bitcoin.

I think bitcoin and other virtual coin will remain "good" communitiy experiment only. Tools for "playing" on the exchanges and creating very few very rich people - it depends on the "communities" again.

2857  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How many Zcash coins actually exist? on: October 30, 2016, 02:52:33 AM
Zcash will have the same number of coins as BTC. Yet it traded at over 3000 BTC per Zcash.
At that price based on 21 million coins it would have a final market cap of $30 Trillion USD....

Is that right?

It depends on the part of the world you live in Smiley

"10% of the 21m coins to be issued are earmarked for founders, investors, employees and a putative Zcash foundation."

http://www.economist.com/news/finance-and-economics/21709329-another-crypto-currency-born-known-unknown

We know that trading started with the theoretical marketcap valuation of 10-20 folds bigger than BTC marketcap I doubt some of the initial owners of 10% coins will not sell at such attractive prices for selling.

Trading started at the theoretical valuation 10-20 folds higher than BTC marketcap.

Any comments to the next price direction?
