There's no other board that will do most of those terms to flow on your mind, it will be here in the main Gambling board only. You need to take a due diligence if there's an unfamiliar word you may encounter then best to check it via search engines and nothing else, that's what I did when I'm still a noob in the space too.

I just don't know the how others could mean other things when reading/saying such basic words. Don't get easily confused just because some uses it for a context. Remember that some terms can really be different regardless of its meaning especially when its meant to have a meaning based on context in your situation, maybe experience in gambling is something you could also try working on. Some doesn't learn from the readings but from their curiosity out of experiences.

This is true, nowadays, you can easily hit the google search button. But he can check the links posted by Maus0728 and he will understand a lot of these casino terms. Otherwise, just do a quick search and he will understand those. And yes, it would be very helpful for him to read the ToS of the site, because it will give him idea what to do and not to do once you are playing in their casino. Some casinos have slight deviations regarding their terms so better check them.

If you know how to use Google properly you can get all the terms that you want, there are no specific links for everything that you want to know about gambling, you can get it on Google and you can do research on Youtube and they will come out with the best explanation on what is gambling and everything associated with it, this forum is also a big help but it will take time before you can understand all these and you can also stumble new terms along the way.

How old are you?! You sound like a kid who doesn't have a clue about what he is doing! And this is not fun at all!

I have a feeling that OP is very young! So before everything else, he should learn about bankroll management! Or to make it simple, how to not spend everything he owns in chasing for a lucky hit! How to not become addicted to some gambling games at his young age! Gambling should be fun and entertainment, so he must learn to deal with it carefully to not become a kid who lost everything because he gambled and he didn't even know the rules and his real chances!  

This topic doesn't even deserve its place in this section! Everyone can get information about gambling and gambling games on this forum and in many other places! In my opinion, this kid wants to make some money fast and he thinks that gambling is a good way to do it! Just lurk every day at the gambling section. No need to literally do a manual study about those gambling terms. As you progress, you will automatically learn those terms. It's usual to be confused since you are new but there will be a time that you can easily interact with other people here about gambling in general.

That fact that you learned the simple term "casino" and what gambling types involve there, it's impossible that your knowledge about gambling won't be extended unless you are not really interested from the very beginning and just forcing yourself to be involved for the sake that you can comment and post here in this section.

I read his other posts.. he is just unused to decadence. I find it very cute, in a way, or perhaps a little optimistic. It is nice knowing there are people who want to learn that much and try to use organized, thoughtful ways to narrate their progress. Even if he dreadfully needs a proper teacher and the longer he is without one the longer it will take to integrate to any degree.

This is the internet anything you want to know or are curious about are keywords away for you to know, you have two tools the internet which is Google and Youtube, search and platform can give all you need there is no one platform that can give you everything, if you are very serious in learning about gambling you just need patient and time to learn everything, everything is accessible.

It is quite rare that he does not know what a casino is, since it is not necessary to have played in one to get an idea. By watching a movie in which a casino appears, for example, you get an idea. But I guess he hasn't seen one.

OP, there is no better way to get familiar with what a casino is than to gamble in one, but I don't generally recommend it because the math is against you. If at some point you want to try it, be aware of that. There are people who play casino games for entertainment but be aware that although in some cases you may leave the casino with more money, the long term tendency is inevitably to lose money.
