To be honest, I didn't even notice the ad until I read this last page.  I had to go back to the OP specifically for it...and I have used the OP a few times (at one point I spent an hour looking at the various linked threads).

I don't see it as a big issue and have voted accordingly.

Ha, that says something about how much the ad might be worth to potential purchasers too.

When you say you don't see it as a big issue and have vote accordingly, that sounds like a vote for "i don't care".  But it seems a little ambiguos.  English is famous for a thing sometimes called "negative raising" where people say things like:

I don't think she should do that.

And they mean:

I think that she shouldn't do that.

So by this pattern, it's entirely clear whether you mean "I see it as not a big deal."  Or "I don't see it as a big deal".  If you catch my drift.

I think satu would have a good point if he had said

milan 3 - 1 lazio

In common language if you say two numbers and a team name, it's usually understood that the name of the team is the winner.
2843  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: DirectBet Soccer Prediction Game *** Win Free Bets ! *** Free to Enter ! on: January 25, 2015, 03:55:03 AM
Isn't justintime the winner by virtue of having posted before Satu?  I thought that was part of the deal for this game, you have to be the first to post the correct prediction.

I just rejoined last Saturday.  By rejoined I mean that I used to be in this campaign a long time ago and then I was away and on Saturday I re-added the sig and hit the signature.html page.  Now, I notice that on Tuesday it said payment 0.000 (however, it *is* properly counting my posts since Saturday).  I'm assuming that this is because when I originally signed up (over a year ago), I did so on a Tuesday.  Now I'm just trying to figure out if I'm going to get paid this Saturday (when I readded the sig and hit the signature.html page) or on Tuesday.  Any guesses?  Anyone know for sure?

bump on this question.

anyone know?

I guess I'll find out for sure either way soon and I'll let y'all know.

[snip]

4) tyvm tspacepilot for recognizing this.  In a sea of "THIS IS TAKING TOO LONG" emails, it's nice to see a long time user draw attention to the multi-year history of cashout consistency.

You're welcome very much.  FWIW, I"m a long time but super-small stakes player who almost never cashes out.  Nevertheless you're right that I'm a long-timer and that I keep my eye on these sorts of things.

I hope you guys live forever!

Oh my god I"m late again.  I log out for one day and look, there's 3 pages of posts!  I predict

5 - 0 for Lazio win!

Jeezus, I gotta set up some kinda email alert on this thread.
2847  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: January 25, 2015, 03:16:39 AM
I agree that I do not like commercialising this community thread and someone is profiting from this. Being a staff makes this worse.
Please explain how. If it's because I get paid by Theymos, should I deny the payment for what I do? Would you do that? Updating this thread takes quite a while. The updates I just did took me 20 minutes and they are 4/5 small ones. I re-read the thread, skim for stuff that I missed, etc.

The success of this thread comes from the overview table and the original idea and design is not even OP's. It is mine. He cannot claim rights to something that is not his in the beginning. I suggested the table format and coded it (on page 3), thinking I am helping the community.

If the ads are helping bitcoin startups for free, it would be ok. Now, a staff member's thread is advertising accounts trading!
Yes, you gave me the basic idea for a table and a lot of people have contributed towards it, giving me good ideas, etc. I'm very grateful for that, because it has helped (and still helps) a lot of people. If you don't agree with what I do/did, I could redo the table design so that you aren't involved with the idea anymore. A whole new design, extra information, etc.

I do not endorse any ads, I just put up the ad from the person who won, if it's allowed inside this forum.

Here is a poll about the ad: Should I remove the ad. I will let it run till tomorrow and decide based on the votes.

i voted "remove".  While I'm no where near as passionate as sed about this issue, I also stopped visiting the OP of this thread after ads went up.  I still check in occasionally on the last few pages to see if anything interesting is being discussed.  my o my, look at al the hot shit going down these days.  Smiley

Bring back trivia bot.  Even micron likes it.  What happened?

Maybe they ran out of questions?

Reshuffle and randomize.  That solution should be as obvious as the deck of cards. Smiley

I got a few chips in a live trivia hosted by a user rather than a bot.  Still, the bot trivia was super-fun.  I agree "micron" [sic] should bring it back or whatever.

I was riding high with PD, up to 0.05 profit, then I crashed down to -0.04 profit and decided that I'd better quit.  Haven't played in a while.  I think that lifetime profit/loss stat might be too much of a reality check.  I know it's kept me from putting in more money once I saw how far behind I was.  On the other hand, it's very open and honest of PD to show us this so easily.

Thanks! It's my second time winning football prediction game. I'll send you my bet in a couple minutes.

I'm listening to a frog outside my window.  That's the song of nature, my friends.

I understand now what you mean about the login name.  As for myself, I'm curious about PD but I'm happy with the automation of bitmixer until something comes along.  I defintitely don't trust the fly-by-night new campaigns with annoying campaign managers and delayed payments.  I'll be paid a little less in exchange for less annoyance anytime.  However, from what I saw, bitmixer.io is pretty much on par with the other guys anyway.

Bump.  I'm still waiting on a code from like 2 months ago.

That parameter work well . are you trying to say that they are ... ?  Undecided
As tspacepilot said above, you have to click the submit button for it to work.  I've also gotten confused by this in the past.  However, I just checked my stats and all is working fine.

I meant parameter uid=320943. So, if we bookmark the link, we can see the details just by going to the link. This parameter was working earlier but after recent changes, it stopped working! Sad Example: https://bitmixer.io/signature.html?uid=320943

   ~~MZ~~

Aha, now I understand you.  You were talking about a URL parameter to directly do a GET request without using the form.  Perhaps bitmixer changed the server side to expect a POST request rather than GET.  Not really sure, I never tried to GET the page setting the url param until just now.  However, i can confirm that as of now I agree with you that this doesn't work.

Good news for Bit-x.

Did you realize that bitcoininformation has new name Shocked
Didn't know that was possible Cheesy

I think it's only donators that get that ability.  Anyway, the barred l means lateral fricative in americanist phonetics, I don't know if this is what he's going for or if he just likes the way it looks.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Voiceless_alveolar_lateral_fricative

No! Staff can also change their name but the username still remain same. Smiley

Huh?  Good point that bitcoininformation is now staff and that must be why he can change names.  But what does it mean that his username remains the same?

Somehow I always see these threads like two days after the match is over.   Alas, congrats to the winners.

tried for fun. set my chances to win 100x. 0.99% win chance. rolled once. Won. but i forgot to go all in and just ''free rolled''
worst day in my life.

It is sad and funny at the same time Smiley
Sometimes happens with all of us.

i guess haha. but the knot is my stomach is yet not gone. would have beeb 0.5 x 100!

Max bet at 100x is 0.2 Smiley

yeah but like what are odds of hitting the damn thing lol.

Its not that hard to hit 100x. The max profit was 30 BTC before wasn't it ?

It was 40 BTC, now reduced down to 20 BTC, and Stunna said he is going to increase it again.

Will be increasing within the week.

Or in other words, PD has been doing well to recover the loss to Hufflepuff. Cheesy

Or it's simply due to the fiat value of btc being lower there days.  40 btc ain't worth what it was 6 months ago on the exchanges.
2860  Economy / Services / Re: Up to 0.035 BTC weekly for YOUR SIGNATURE *New rules on: January 19, 2015, 02:14:34 PM
Just put my UID to the site??

That simple Smiley

Yes! Cheesy

P.S. Now the parameter isn't working! Sad No replies from Bitmixer! Undecided

   ~~MZ~~

It's a bit weird but you have to click the submit button.  If you put in your uid and press "enter", it looks like the page submitted your stuff but all you'll see is a blank reply.  This has been described upthread.
