This batch of Gilas cadets has a very bright future in terms of representing the Philippines in the FIBA competition. Personally, I was thinking that their first win against South Korea is a mix of talent and luck hehe.

If I'm not wrong this batch of cadets has the highest height average and most of them are athletic enough to defend the Koreans bombardment in the three-point area.

And we should not also forgot the coaching staff who orchestrated all the plays that made this win possible, especially to coach Tab Baldwin.

Ohh man, i just can't believe this is happening. Unlike Mexicans, there is not a lot of Filipino champions in boxing so this is big news in the Philippines.

If this is the path to unifying the 118lbs belt then i think i would go for Quadro Alas here because of youth, that's all.

That's very unfortunate news for the Clipper's fan out there. Without Leonard, I doubt if they can win this series against the Jazz, and if ever they do win, they might be sweep by the Suns IMO. Actually, the final roster that will compete in the FIBA World Cup in 2023 is yet to be determined. The ones that are playing now are called Gilas cadets since they are aspiring to be included in the final pool. Still, we could expect Junemar Fajardo to be the main big man for Gilas and maybe Jordan Clarkson if ever FIBA will allow him to play as local.

Without Kawhi Leonard today, I don't think the Clipper will win this game5 because Paul George can't do it alone, the latter is so erratic that you don't know whether he brings his A-game today or not. I thought the Busan experience will haunt the Gilas once again after the missed throw then the 3-point shot by Korea that tied the game, fortunately, BelANGEL who was sent from heaven make that desperate 3 point shot that saves the day for Gilas and more importantly gives the boys more confidence going forward in this tournament.

I'm staying away from this game, my thought is that the Gilas cadets will not win against South Korea and that +5.5 HC is inappropriate IMO as I think they will be destroyed by their opponents. Though this is a good experience for the young guns of Philippine basketball, betting for them is not a cool thing for now especially against a strong opponent like South Korea, maybe against Indonesia I will bet but I have to look at the odds first.

What a game, that Hail Mary three point by Belangel just went in. This kid just got future in the PBA with the way he man the point for the Gilas squad.

With this pattern that they both won on their home games, the possibility of a game7 is very possible. This series is opposite to the Clippers vs Mavs wherein both teams have not won in their homecourt till game7 for the Clippers.

The character of Mitchell will be tested in this series, either buckle down to pressure or rise up to the challenge of bringing the Jazz to the WCF.

Game5 is very important to the home team, if they lose I think this series is over in six games.

I think they will announce the update of the PBA opening after the 3rd window of FIBA Asia qualifier.
