2843  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any knows the mathematical formula to winning the lottery? on: May 03, 2019, 03:47:32 AM
Have you gambled lottery?
Why Mathematicians aren't riches now in gambling since they know and expert in equation solving finding the x value?
Equation solving in Mathematics are helpful to finds or pick the numbers, how did you know if it is even or odd numbers in right combination?
Is the binomial coefficient formula will really help you to find the right winning combination?

Share your thought here and let's discuss this. Cheesy

No, no such formula would help you find the right winning combination. If it did, no every good mathematician would have been a billionaire.
There have been some rare cases of lottery using specific algorithm that could be deciphered for finding winning ticket but every such incident had helped creating more cryptic and unbreakable algorithm which would enable zero loopholes hence makes it purely a matter of luck. As of online lottery, they are even much more unpredictable than the regular lottery tickets.
2844  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cancellation of project at the eleventh hour on: May 03, 2019, 03:43:54 AM
What it would be like when your long wait for a project listing on exchanges will be ended up by an apparent apology by a project for its failure to continue citing various reasons. On the part of the project team, they try to be honest by promising to return their investment to investors. But what about bounty hunters? And what about time, efforts by investors and bounty hunters? I think it will be a sort of a scam by cancelling a project at the eleventh hour under various pretexts.
Your views guys?

It's the term and conditions the bounty hunters have checked while joining the campaign. If the project fails to reach the soft cap, no payment.
If the participants are not satisfied with the term than they should not join. But when you have, you should follow the rules so does the project managers.
2845  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Coinbase now supports Dogecoin on: May 03, 2019, 03:41:50 AM
Coinbase confirmed the next coin to be supported by it's wallet would be Dogecoin.
Now you can store Dogecoin on your coinbase mobile app. The support from coinbase has resulted in a sharp rise in price of Dogecoin in the last 24 hours.

Market response

One of the best thing about dogecoin is it's ease of use. You just don't have to deal with decimals and the transaction fees mostly are of just one dogecoin. Though I'd never use it as a hodling currency or an investment but Dogecoin is a useful tool for crypto users.
2846  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin one of the most shady coin? on: May 03, 2019, 03:39:13 AM
Bitcoin from the very beginning was created completely transparent, open source. No matter who Satoshi Nakamoto is, we cannot lay claim to him for the fact that in the early period he had namynil many bitcoins. This is the privilege of the discoverers. If he did, he acted wisely. He deserved to spend the rest of his life at his pleasure somewhere on his own island with a heavenly climate.

Or is it? There are still a great deal of things we don't know about the initial phase of bitcoin. No details about the genesis block and any detail of premining.
Bitcoin was nearly unkown for some years and when it started coming into spolight, satoshi just disappeared.
2847  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Now FREE to JOIN] IPL 2019 Prediction Pool and discussion on: May 03, 2019, 03:36:00 AM
MI had the advantage of having the best bowler of the season in their squad. Also, in the super-overs, the team that is chasing always have a better chance of a victory. But still, it was an amazing fightback from Manish Pandey, and it is so rare to see the batting side winning the game when 6 runs are needed of the last ball. Anyway, SRH may still qualify for the playoffs, as they are currently 4th on the points table and have a run-rate that us superior to the other teams.

One of the memorable match of this season. Why don't they just declare the match a tie and share the points? After all it's a league.
SRH has proved it's worthiness and is still a favorite to reach the playoffs. Hope to see SRH be able to take vengeance with MI in this season.
2848  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which one do you prefer between fee discount and deposit bonus? on: May 03, 2019, 02:30:29 AM
There's no use of deposit bonus if it's just for the first time and exchanges can't just provide deposit bonus everytime the user deposits an amount.
Fee discount would be beneficial in the long run but again there are several large exchanges serving with a fees of 0.05%, that's nearly as saturated as it gets.
2849  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What causes a person to become intensely addicted to gambling? on: May 03, 2019, 02:25:11 AM
Many things may influence an addiction to gambling. In modern context, lack of guardian and guardianship is one of the reason to point out.
People are living a single and independent life. They are earning more money but less friends and gambling is more fun than socializing.
A prolonged involvement in gambling would lead them to addiction.
2850  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BitCrasha | New BTC Crash Site | Suggestions Wanted! on: May 01, 2019, 02:16:51 PM
Do you have a working model? If not how would the users be able to suggest?
What do you mean by BTC Crash site. Do you mean something similar to rocket.run ? Because I love the fun of playing there.
Some suggestions.
1. Active chat between users.
2. Graphical and maybe some unique graphics for added fun.
3. Auto mode with multiple options.
2851  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't follow the hype on: May 01, 2019, 02:01:20 PM
I've been here for years and I can say that following the hype never works for investors, this is simply an advise.

Few examples: Synereo, Savedroid, Electroneum.

Even though these projects managed to get the money they needed and much more, they still didn't manage to deliver what they promised. Or in some cases, not even get listed in decent exchanges or give ROI back.

Cryptocurrencies are not going anywhere and there will be more and more ICOs until these things get regulated (maybe years from now). So If you're an investor and you don't want to stupidly lose your money in the process, I highly suggest everyone to start researching about the projects he's interested in instead of taking his decisions based on Tweets from McAfee, press releases, scores in Icobench, etc.

There are many more that could be added to that list.
This shows that extensive advertising may be able to get a lot of investor's attention but won't be able to achieve necessary success.
But again It also doesn't mean that coins with no hypes have better rate of giving ROI back or all of the hyped coins are a failure.
It's a bit of luck and a bit of skill in analyzing the information you have to decide which project are worth your money.
2852  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Crime is getting Worse, what do we do? on: May 01, 2019, 05:08:26 AM
We are failing to learn from the mistake. Even if we are using blockchain, we are giving more control to humans and centralized softwares which can make mistakes. We have seen dozens of exchange hacked yet we flock to similar exchange. We see a hundred of fake ICO run away with investors money yet we invest without any research just because you saw that on news. This would change but it's taking too much time and it's hurting the future of crypto.
2853  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Now FREE to JOIN] IPL 2019 Prediction Pool and discussion on: May 01, 2019, 04:53:48 AM
If any, the chances of progress for RCB was near impossible. So if the match is not held or both of the teams shared the points, It would be an end for Rajisthan Royals too. With two matches left, the competition for the 4th place is going to be fierce.

With the rain effected match of 5 overs limited per side RCB till now has made 61/6 in 4.4 overs. This will going to be a good competition as RR will also play its best in order to win this match and take 2 points as it has reduced to just 5 overs.

RR looks like they might easily win this one thanks to a strong batting performance currently by Samson and Livingstone. Wickets are the key here and RR has not lost a single wicket yet.

Bad bowling once again by RCB. Not surprised honestly.

Edit: It started raining again which is why the match has been abandoned. Goodbye RCB and RR have a slim chance now. Tough luck.

This actually ruined any chances RR had. There were just mathemetical probabilities for RCB while RR were on direct competition. The loosing of point would be beneficial to sunrisers hyderabad and Kolkata Knight riders.
2854  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New Solution for provably fair? on: May 01, 2019, 01:18:42 AM
So recently I saw this new casino https://d2w.bet/info/provably and saw it used a different approach to having random games. Using something called a golle algorithm which I read up on here https://medium.com/d2w-bet/blockdraws-golle-algorithm-a-distributed-p2p-cryptographic-algorithm-for-generating-provably-a282581f787f. What do you guys think of casinos using this new approach to verifying bets etc?

Seems like a self promotion. No independent source mentioned and the so called algorithm is only used for the site d2w bet. I don't mean to raise a suspicion about it's fairness but it would be wise to stick with traditional way of proving fairness until we find an independent study about the claims of golle algorithm.
2855  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Germany's First STO - Your thoughts? on: April 30, 2019, 05:41:22 PM
I'd blindly trust them. Bitbond had been here for quite a long and had done a good business for a long period of time.
But a fixed 4% per annum and probability of getting 4% more won't lure me to invest in it.
There are many other options that provides better return of investment.
2856  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: FixedFloat — fully automatic cryptocurrency exchange with Lightning Network⚡️ on: April 30, 2019, 01:42:54 AM
Soon the reserves of our service will be increased Cool, and you can exchange much larger volumes! Wink

Best regards,
FixedFloat.com team.
Think big. Exchange wisely.

This is the best lightning supported exchange at current time. The trade I performed was quick and hassle free. Very user friendly and straight forward.
The fees are also very competitive. FixedFloat is better than Changelly or Shapeshift in many expects. It provides one more option for users to compare where you'll get the most out of your coin.
2857  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Desperately need help on bitmex on: April 30, 2019, 01:34:02 AM
No, I did trading in their platform but I lost money. I didnt win ( I did trading a little bit only)

They are suspecting you of Money laundering. Bitmex is a legit company and they have to answer everyone.
Why would you put more than 1.5 million dollars on an exchange just to withdraw it back? Were you looking for a free mixer?
If you could justify the source of income than you'll get your money back, if not, hope the country you reside doesn't care much about money laundering.
2858  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Instant withdrawal form betting site on: April 30, 2019, 01:20:18 AM
Well, Marathonbet was formed back in 1997 so they are around for a while and they are an independent sportsbook, They boast that they have around one and half million customers from over 175 countries, They are actually one of the biggest betting companies operating in Russia, And have their headquarters on the south coast of England in Brighton but they are licensed in Curacao, I really think they are user friendly and have a mobile version of the site as well and you get the same basic layout and services and have a pretty good help section in my opinion even though if it is not well-known

I have never seen 1xbet.com and don't have any experience towards it, But I have got reviews of a 1 star and accusations that it is a scam because some have withdrawn to it but the money seems off and never have arrived at the given address, But I don't really want to try it just to be safe.
1xbet is also a Russian bookmaker though they pretend to be based on somewhere else and has an operating license from somewhere else. They are still quite popular with those bonus, promotions and advertising but has a lot of complaints about scamming users. Though I personally haven't have any issue with the site.

Impressive return of SRH after the loss with Rajisthan. Warner is an one man army. Now all the eyes are on Gayle.
212 is one of the largest score in this tournament and if Sunrisers are able to get Gayle early, they'll easily have the game.
