There is any GPU to mine Bitcoin? Thanks!
Do you live in Europe? With such a cost of electricity, forget about mining forever. The price of electricity for large miners is 4-5 cents, in Russia there are places where the price is less than 2 cents. Electricity is the main item of your expenses, so look for favorable conditions.

1080 graphic cards aren't a good choice for mining anymore, leave the old cards be for PC gamers because that's the best a 1080 graphic cards can do right now, they are still 1080p display champions.
Thats not true , if you have a 1080Ti with 11 GB Ram its still a good card for mining for a few Algos. I bought mine straight after the Card was released i guess 5 or 6 years ago or something around that time , and it still mine without any problems. Depends what 1080 Versions you have for sure , and old Cards dont wanted anymore for PC Gamers , they want also the best and new cards. Not all gamers want to buy expensive graphics cards For example RTX 3060 and GTX 1080 ti https://technical.city/ru/video/GeForce-GTX-1080-Ti-protiv-GeForce-RTX-3060The GTX 1080 ti is much better at gaming, according to the test results. I think that the problem is only in the price of the GTX 1080 ti.

Thank you guys and sorry, because it was the riser sata power connector that has disconnected. Now the rig is working great. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Check for heating SATA contacts on the mining farm. Perhaps this happened due to overheating and possibly due to poor-quality contact. Or you made a mistake when building a mining farm or did not check all contacts before starting mining.

My advice is much simpler than that:
SELL ALL YOUR GPU NOW!!
Hehe ehhe he
I think you are too late with your advice. In my country, prices for some video cards fell by 50% in 3 months and there are no new buyers on the market. And then there will be even more video cards on the market. So many gamers don't exist to buy this.

C.O. May 2016 and May 2022 and the profit is the same. My price is $0.05 per kilowatt. https://whattomine.com/gpus?cost=0.05&cost_currency=USD&button=&nvidia=true&amd=true&filter=all&sort=In Hive OS, these video cards work fine for me, and I am very pleased with them.Problems for those who purchase new cards expensively.I don't recommend buying a GTX 1080 now, but I don't plan on selling mine just yet.

Hello, I never mined before, I have 4 GB GPU, I want to setup it for mining, how to ? I want to mine litecoin (not solo)
find your video card in this list, enter the cost of electricity and check the profit https://whattomine.com/gpusIf you want to mine, then start from this site https://mining.help/But on the Internet there is also other information on other resources.

Yeah, i have 512.77 like recommended on T-Rex on Github.
My OC settings were constantly good with the older Version of Nicehash or T-Rex with their 70% unlock. When i set my Memory Clock on anything over 1150, it is unstable or crashes instantly. My Card is OC from stock. Thats why i chose this oc profile. And like i said, it even crashes even without any oc or only Power limit set on like 75.
Have you tried testing your graphics card with FurMark? If the video card works without failure for about 30 minutes, then you need to look for a problem in the software. What power supply do you have? I'm testing the video card on another PC to avoid problems on your PC.

First of all if the prices of the gpu were lowered it would be good for all gamers and miners, the gpu that have been used for mining, squeezed to the maximum of their capacity have a shorter life cycle than a gpu with normal wear, i just think that's why they are avoided
yeah a complete falsehood. I know my 150-200 cards in hand are perfectly fine for gamers to buy (if I were to sell them) My cards are properly treated In America, sellers write that the video card was used or not used in mining? In Russia, some sellers write this, but some of these sellers constantly sell video cards

If you have stable 500w from solar panels you still need a bigger power supply at least a 750W i personally would still opt for eth mining with some powerful gpu
yes but will this be long term? in August there will be merge of ETH 1.0 and ETH 2.0 to ETH 3.0 When it will no longer be possible to mine eth you can switch to other altcoins, with less profit it is true but the alternatives there are some examples ergo, ravencoin, ton, etc why everybody is talking about ravencoin since it costs 0.03 cents? do i miss anything here? Ravencoin (RVN) is an old coin and one of the forks of bitcoin. At that time, it was fashionable to fork bitcoin. It is not the price of the coin that matters, but the profit. But this coin will not save the situation with mining after the end of ethereum mining.

Why do gamers try as much as possible to avoid graphic cards that have been used for mining before? Is this even making sense because it looks like tech illiteracy to me, does it makes any difference when mining to gaming because my gaming PC is always built ot upgrade with GPU that I have used for mining and there isn't any issue.
Most casual gamers in my country use $140-$200 video cards, they are 8-18 year olds. I myself play on such a video card, and in my free time I use it in mining. Now a new video card can be bought cheaper than a used one.

Hi, I have a 3060ti LHR V2 and today I tested the new versions of T-Rex, NbMiner and Nicehash(Quickminer). after less than 2 minutes the screen goes black, sound continues normally. After that either the PC restarts or the miner crashes and the pc works again. MSI Afterburner Settings: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.ibb.co%2FPNGhm10%2F1653495620972.png&t=663&c=vBalpUUWcrFpxA) has worked for me until now with the old Versions with 70% unlock and 40 Mhs. with the new Versions i have the full 55-59Mhs but i crashes after less than 2 minutes. Now the funny thing, even completely without OC it crashes, then I tried times only times to turn down the power limit, crash tried older driver, no help, tried non DCH driver, no help PS: GPU Temp on 50-55 and Hotspot not higher than 65 does anyone know what could be the reason for this? Greetings Core Clock -500? Have you installed the correct driver version? try these settings Power Limit (%): 70% or 155w Core Clock (CClock): 1450 (Locked) Memory Clock (MClock): +1750 or 3500 Fan Speed (%): 70% or more/less based on your temps. https://miningchamber.com/gpu-mining/rtx-3060-ti-lhr-mining-settings/

Is there anyway to use mobile graphic cards (laptop) in a desktop? Or there is any kind of modification around this? I have a mobile GPU that's working perfectly but the Laptop I removed the GPU from is dead.
There are no mobile graphics cards for modern laptops. The video chip is installed on the laptop motherboard. I've seen PC graphics cards from China that used a video chip from a broken laptop. This was relevant before the hacking of the LНR algorithm. You can sell your video chip, but you can't make a video card out of it at home.

How do you restart your mining rig remotely if you are not at home or at the farm? I am talking about rigs that goes into deep frozen state where you will only need to press the power button for few seconds before working again.
I use a smart wi-fi socket and in the BIOS of the motherboard I need to enable the AC power function. When voltage appears in the mains, your motherboard will start. You can use a smart wi-fi socket and electrical relays.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5289066.0Low 40's is normal for the 1080ti and it will only get lower due to a known bug suffered by the 10x0 series excluding the 1070ti where it was fixed. 1080Ti has gone from 55 to 43mh in 5 years and 1070 has gone from about 33mh to 25mh. I understand your point perfectly but I really want to know why these cards lose has rated over time, I am guessing this happened because of Nvidia lack of support for the graphic cards through support drivers or there is more.?? If AMD solved this problem, then Nvidia could also solve this problem, but perhaps they did not want to. The mining hype was in 2017 and early 2018, and the problems with the hashrate drop were during the period when mining was not very popular.
