2841  Economy / Economics / Re: Is there a place in the world you could live like a king via sig campaigns? on: March 25, 2022, 10:01:00 PM
$1500 a week is so high for people to earn weekly this already can give more comfortable life to anyone and it can  able to sustain the needs of  5 or even 10 person. Even if we say that the price of oil also inflation is so high still the person who earn $1500 a week will not get affected on it and mostly they can buy what they want for that amount they receive weekly. If that amount will not be enough for some people I don't know how they spend their money but one thing is for sure here that is totally huge and not everyone can achieve that salary.

It would be always on everybody's dream on earning that big on weekly basis which would really be putting you on a situation specially on countries which does have cheap cost of living will really give

out that kind of abundance on which you could buy on things that you do want or neither purchase some vehicle if you do know on how to save up for later.Living out with 5 person should be enough
here on my place even with just 1-week earning, how much more for a monthly income? The question is, would it happen?  Cheesy
2842  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Russia May Accept Bitcoin for Gas Exports, Lawmaker Says" on: March 25, 2022, 08:55:08 PM
No country will be in a Russian situation and won't be worried no matter no powerful the country is for every country is experiencing economic meltdown ever since the Covid-19 hit the world and adding sanctions is just like adding salt to the wound but I hope the Russian and Ukraine find an end means to the ongoing conflict between them.
I dont see for this war to end up anytime soon or on early base and if you do tend to look at on what Russia is been doing then its unlikely for this to be over and now they are finding up some alternatives

specially that sanctions do become even more that a big problem affecting Russia's economy which it isnt surprising and now they have these thoughts on accepting btc for gas exports then well
its not a bad alternative and since bitcoin is independent then they would totally or basically be touching this area despite of the hate and  negativity that they do see about it on pre-war situation.
2843  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blockchain Casinos - Consumer's Choice! on: March 24, 2022, 11:17:56 PM
how about those who already voted others because their supported casino is not yet on the list, you should configure the poll where the voter can change his vote, so from others he can now vote for his favorite casino or better lock this thread learned who's who in the gambling and how to create a poll first.
Unfortunately and as far as I know there is no option to allow users to change their votes. It's not possible with polls on SMF forums. After submitting your vote, it becomes final.
Personally, I chose "other" because I didn't see my favorite casino on the first list and am sure many others did the same and their votes would've gone to one of the casinos on the supplementary list.
This happened to me LOL  Grin Grin
In fact, I pressed the wrong button, because I wasn't focused. But at least I don't choose a casino that has a bad reputation. Regardless of which casino I choose, it's still better than choosing a reputable casino that's clearly not very ideal for inclusion in the OP list above.

This poll is somehow not representing the sentiments of the community anymore in my opinion. As they added the other casinos bit late, others voted whatever was on the list even if they prefer other casinos that were not yet listed. So don't know how they will declare winner here, if they will declare the 2nd spot or if the other category (which means, they may need to re-do this poll). Let's see, because the closing of poll is very near.
Thats why its always been inaccurate when there's some community poll because whether the list would be;

-lacking
-Including scam sites
-Thread doesnt get much attention

So its not really that solid if you do rely with these informations because only a few could able to cast off their votes.
2844  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: REASON WHY ALTCOIN MARKET HARD TO SPECULATE on: March 24, 2022, 09:56:02 PM
Altcoins are highly centralized because they are often controlled by a group of developers, so there is a lot of scam among altcoins.
Yes, controlling by a group of developers makes altcoins to be easy decreasing or increasing. Those developers who have most the tokens often manipulate the prices of the tokens on the market. Sometimes, some tokens end with scams issue, and some tokens contantly drop their prices after a series of pump made by the developers.

It's no secret that many altcoins are created solely for developers to make money from the hype.
Indeed. Some developers only want money, they do all efforts when it is in selling phase. Some projects even create a certain group named member armies, who have the goal to make the hype. The developers expect to sell all their tokens and collect huge money. Then, they aren't active anymore when they have succeed earning big money, they don't care about the project future.

90% of these projects doesnt able to materialize into those things that they had promised out when they are still on presale or initial state which is in the reality and most of them do fail to deliver

on what their investors had believed on them and just because they've been hooked into those promises then in later months or years then you would see the true motive of these developers/owners.

It do sucks when your investment is on that stagnant side and comes worst it do dumps or dies into the floor without even getting a portion of your investment.
2845  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Occupational hazards of trading crypto on: March 24, 2022, 09:12:00 PM
For a full time trader who stare at the charts 24/7 will soon have spinal problems, visual defects and probably obesity. But people don't really care as long as they are getting richer because when you have money you won't be worrying about your future so you can think and act how to overcome everything once you made money.
You bet and said it right.

This is the current situation of many today. Sitting long hours without standing up and do some stretching and experience those problems that you've mentioned.

They don't matter as long as everyone is making huge money not just from trading and anything related to crypto that will require them long hours of sitting and focusing to what they do.
Majority would really be having that mindset that whatever health issues that it could potentially imposed as long they could earn big money or profits then it wouldnt really be that an issue but actually

people should really be mindful when it comes to this kind of behavior because whats money if you health is at risk or in problem which isnt worth and be mindful or its better for everything to be balanced not not compromising your health.

Health is much more important because if you dont put importance to it then those profits you had made will really be just used for possible hospitalization or with some medication.
2846  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto.com as Sponsor's for FIFA World Cup on: March 24, 2022, 07:54:06 PM
This ain't the first time they're dealing with stuff's like this, they already dealing with Australian football League, Formula 1.
Joining/ Sponsoring the biggest event/game in football history is a great thing to see as they have been on a rapid increase ever since 2016 having over   10 million customers and over 4000 employees.
They're are also in support of teaching kids about Crypto technology, which i fancy very well!

https://blockworks.co/crypto-com-adds-fifa-world-cup-sponsorship-to-sports-marketing-strategy/
Yeah, they are all-in, you can see their logo on almost all other sports right now. They are really betting high that the exposure will give them customers for the future. And also since they have deep pockets, so why not used the biggest sporting event to market their product? Win-win for them, they are really setting the trend right with this whole new sponsorship.
Win-win situation in overall angle not only for them as a company but also it do adds up even more exposure considering it would be seen on FIFA so this would really be a good show up
and you are right that deep pockets would be having corresponding deep and aggressive kind of marketing.

This is something that we do really wish to see or witness on where theres a crypto advertisement in one of the biggest events worldwide.
It might not directly or point make out some effects but pretty much sure it would be worth.
2847  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Breaks Past The $40,000 Barrier Again? on: March 23, 2022, 11:17:38 PM
I do agree that 40k is a magical number right now and going above that and going under it happened so many times in a row right now. I believe that we should not be forgetting that it could go under 40k all over again as well. I am not saying that it will, all I am saying is that there is a chance for it to happen.

This is why I believe that we should be careful even during bull periods, even more so during bull periods even. Because when it is bear, you could buy at cheaper prices and there is a return from that, but if you buy during bull periods, there is a downside that would require you to have a lot more liquidity to cover that difference.
This is what it makes more harder to make out some analysis on which the price had able to play in between this line whether going above it or go below or under it and taking for a while on making

next movement which would really be giving out some confusions specially if you do go after for short term duration kind of trades. For now we are playing around 42k whether it would be heading

and breaking that 45k increment and goes up to 50k but everything would be still questionable or not assured for it to happen.
2848  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto is a part of war now, like it or not on: March 23, 2022, 10:22:25 PM
Cryptocurrency has both positive and negative aspects. But of course it can be used to help people. The most important thing is to give it to good hands, to people who spend money not for their own benefit, not for the purchase of weapons, but for food and necessary things for poor people. Now there are a lot of scammers and sites where you can lose your money.I don't want to take risks and will only give money to people I know personally.
Positive outweighs its negative thats why community does really support it that much which is evident or simply obvious because if it does really have that negative in deep manner then it wont really

be going this far but we are seeing the opposite. As for claiming or tending to attach Bitcoin to be part of the war or simply overall crypto then i dont see for it to be that right because
it is really just usual or normal for currency to be used just like fiat since transferring is just easy as breeze then it would be just common sense that people would really be using it instead
plus that anonymity factor.
2849  Other / Off-topic / Re: Jake Paul vs Conor McGregor on: March 23, 2022, 09:29:43 PM
I voted no although the majority think it can happen, Paul will agree, but I doubt if Connor will agree, he will be advised to just go for UFC and not a boxing match, he is good in MMA and has only fought once on boxing while Jake Paul all matches are in boxing that makes him experienced between the two and besides he has something to settle against Poirier, their last fight ended in a freak accident, so the result is not decisive.
I also voted no, though majority went for yes, first, I must admit that am not really up to date with the happenings in UFC,  but based on the story, I personally think Connor is being over confident in himself, he should atleast allow himself heal properly from his leg injury which he sustained from his fight against Dustin Poirier,  then like the @aioc said, he should settle with Poirier first, before he proceeds to challenging Paul, usman, whoever.
This is just my personal opinion.
Maybe he would do the inverse thing that he would go after with Paul,Usman etc. and lastly he would have a comeback for Poirier but lets see on what would be their plans and i would say that this is

much more worth for them to put focus on rather than on taking their shitty time on making out some arrangements on that exhibition against Jake. They are just basically nonsense if you do ask me,
if they are intently on buying some time for healing process then this wont really be an ideal kind of arrangement.
2850  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banning Bitcoin is Like Banning the Internet, Says Russia’s Finance Minister on: March 23, 2022, 08:42:10 PM
In some ways he is correct. I think the statement is a bit dramatic, but in essence, he is stating that banning bitcoin would be a huge blow to technological advancement. While I do agree with this, I don't think that bitcoin's impact on the world will be quite like the internet.

The internet enables people from across the world to share information in an instant. Bitcoin is a decentralized monetary network that serves to take the middle man out of fiscal exchanges.

Two different things imo.
But its not bad to have some comparison or presuming about similarities between the two.Yes, it might be talking about monetary network but it would be mainly focusing on decentralization which is

something a real or big thing on where people or community would really be praising or like on.Internet is something revolutionary same as Bitcoin too, it is really just having some certain extent
when it comes to actual utility which is really just common sense. If he do say up those words then he do literally just expect too much into btc.
2851  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best strategy for crypto trading on: March 22, 2022, 05:36:34 PM
To be honest, sometimes different strategies can work out situations in different ways. Much depends on the market situation.

Everything depends on the market situation, even more on what we did before some big turn! How many of us got surprised with some crazy turn? Not once or twice, to some of us, this happened many times over the past years!
So the best strategy in crypto trading is to stay calm when the storm comes! For me, that's the hardest part... there are different strategies, but if we don't have a peace in mind we will probably make a wrong move, been there done that, so now I am trying to keep myself from negatives when market is bearish, better days will come, as a long term trader I know that patience is everything!
Just embrace all the market uncertainties because this is the nature of the crypto market. You can never trade expecting that the market won't crash at any given time because most of the time, the market goes in an opposite direction. So always stay calm and focused.  You can never land a best strategy in trading but you can always find a trading strategy that will best suit on you. Trading is never perfect, so you also have to deal its imperfections if you want to stay in trading for long.
Be versatile is the key because you would really be experiencing lots of scenarios or situations which would particularly in related with unpredictable movements which any strategy would be simply

fucked up thats why as a trader then losses would be inevitable due to this kind of behavior. The thing here you should mind off is on how to sustain yourself into these times.

Trading is hard but doesnt mean its impossible to handle. It is really just needing that right effort and time spent on dealing with this market.
2852  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: March 22, 2022, 04:32:12 PM
Tyson was good player on this two players.Tyson move was always unique compared to Logan Paul.I had read the thread carefully.Nearly 7/8 was supported Tyson.Tyson match to strong arm hand was always unique one.The game with the less power person will be short run game.Paul game was good with the arm power equal to him and not to the player like Tyson.

We can already expect that almost all people who knew Mike Tyson will side on him, besides he's the legendary Iron Mike and against the amateur boxer named Logan Paul will really be a chicken and easy fight against the legendary. I mean look at the man now, even he's quite older than Logan we can still say that he will win on this one.
Clashing out between a boxer and a boxer wannabe then you could already point out on whose gonna win even though there's a huge gap in age but we could not really neglect about experience.

If Mike would really get serious on this exhibition then Logan would be sleeping on the canvass but since we know that this fight wont be happening as Mike had clarified out that he's not interested

for something like this which fighting for the sake of money which does shows a true behavior of a boxing legend.
2853  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you spend crypto? If yes, for what? on: March 22, 2022, 03:20:20 PM
Here's a question to the audience. Do you actually buy stuff with crypto, like services or goods? If yes, what kind?

I've recently got a Binance card to play around with and use it to pay for everyday expenses. Works pretty well.
Wayback when steam is still accepting bitcoin for me to buy steam credits then i do actively make use of my coins because it is really just convenient for me to do so.

Also, i do make use of my local wallet which i could buy up mobile load but now i do realized that it was just a waste of coin for me to spend those in the past
but it was really a good experience but it do really missed out the chance for me to make good profits if i do able to hold it.
2854  Economy / Economics / Re: Fuel prices hitting an eight year high on: March 22, 2022, 02:10:57 PM
Did everyone notice, that during last two weeks, oil prices have dropped for 10-15%, but on the fuel stations we see only one or two cent reduction? How can this be explained, or how will you comment on that? I can only say that once again, someone is making nice profit on us.

Anyone have serious thoughts switching regular car to electric, or you think this fuel price growth is temporary? With two diesel cars in a family, more and more often I start to think about selling one and buying an electric car for small and regular rides.
They are just simply making their stocks to be fully consumed or sell out first before they would tend to make out some adjustment on the current rollback. They could'nt just go down immediately

because if they had bought the fuel stock per barrel on a higher price then its understandable that they would need to sell it all before they would be making out those new prices or dropped down.
Its business and they would not just let it to happen that they would be selling on losses which its just a normal thing for them to do so.So its not really that shocking if you do ask me.
2855  Economy / Gambling / Re: Would you support a collective boycott of all Russian gambling platforms? on: March 20, 2022, 09:50:53 PM
Considering the current events in Ukraine and the open aggression from Russia, what are your thoughts on the collective boycott of all Russian gambling platforms in support of Ukraine?

Going by this isn't that proper as it does not put other citizens who doesn't support the ongoing war into proper consideration as the impact of gambling on people in general either Russians  or other nationale has a great benefit and doesn't contribute to the effect of the ongoing war with Ukraine, gambling can be enjoyed by any body in as much as it is not perpetrated by the war.

But you know that whatever things that connects to them would surely still face up the consequences or reactions or sanctions or prohibitions something like this which is something not really that a

surprising act or on whats happening now.Speaking with support then it would vary on someones own perception on things whether they do really show up some sympathy on business owners
who arent actually residing or agreeing on the war thats currently happening which means supports on something like this would be having different impressions.
2856  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What can we do to speed up Bitcoin mass adoption? on: March 20, 2022, 08:46:48 PM
I don't think it may happen sooner. Simply because after about 12 years since its was lunched, the number of Bitcoin users remains insignificant compared to the number of Earth's population.
There are still hard work that need to be done to achieve new milestones in bitcoin adoption. But certainly, we have to focus on three main points imo :
1- Improving the time needed to confirm a transaction : this was the main issue since the volume of transactions increased in the blockchain which caused many other issues. Several updates has been made in this field (Segwit/Taproot...) but there are always a need to work on reduce time for confirming transaction whatever the situation of the network.
2- Supporting more transactions within a single block: Segwit update was one of the biggest step toward solving this issue but the problem can pump again once the network can support more transactions per second.
3- Reducing transaction fees when the volume of transactions is high : i don't really how to solve this technically but without working on this detail , other competitors can be better alternative for bitcoin whatever it's centralized or decentralized.

I found this interesting topic discussing the same matter , i advice you to take a look at it : How can we speed up the adoption of cryptocurrencies?

It was lunched 12 years ago but trust demands too much time for that.Especially where there are sometimes high volatile situations, for those people who have no education in this, its very hard to trust it.
Awareness and indeed knowledge is the key and as said that this is something that wont really be that possible for everybody which it do really make things even more slower but well if someone do

really got curiosed then this is the time that they would really be making out some in depth research. It is true that volatility is one of the factors on why it do slows down and to add up it would

also be talking about legality. We do know that people would really hesitate on dealing up with something which isnt legalized or been preferred by government.
2857  Economy / Speculation / Re: Btc ath february 2022 on: March 19, 2022, 11:07:44 PM
February has passed, unfortunately we can not reach New ATH precisely the price of February has reached $ 33k, which makes me worry because the price can drop under $ 30k, if you see the current trend then I'm sure that New ATH will soon occur because of the market Within 4 consecutive days a positive move.

Just be realistic, at the moment, bitcoin is not bullish anymore so we cannot expect a new ATH. Based on my experience, ATH only happen when there's a bull run, and with the current economic situation like the war going on between two nation, things would not be easy as it was in the past.

Therefore, I'd rather enjoy the opportunity to buy than expect a new ATH.
We are moving sideways at the moment which its really hard to determine on where the price would be heading next.Volatility does really make things even more harder for us to determine or predict.

Well, this had been the common behavior of this market on which no one could able to precisely tell on where prices could able to reach out thats why always presume whether these support and

resistances would easily break out or not.It all matters with the demand and how other factors do affect entirely.
2858  Economy / Gambling / Re: BK8 - Biggest and Most Trusted Brand. Asia's #1 Crypto online casino BTC & USDT on: March 19, 2022, 10:49:34 PM
Are residents from the Philippines cannot register and play on your site? I am trying to create an account however I cannot see the Philippines on the country options, and of course I cannot see the Peso currency option on the list. I thought giving the country of bank and preferred currency was only for those who wanted to use fiat currency, how about those who wanted to play with cryptocurrencies?

I was also surprised to see that the Philippines is not on the list while all other Asian nations are included. So I try to scroll down if this is just a mistake, but then again it was not really included in the list.

Maybe this is just a mistake on the part of the gambling platform as Philippines is more crypto friendly than other nations, it even has 3 biggest casinos.

Same here, but if the site will not ask for KYC, then maybe it's okay to use a different country or in short provide fake information?
I know the risk, of course, that's bypassing the rules of the site, but anyone who likes to try the platform may try to fake their information, so I want to ask, how serious is it? and what would probably be the sanction if the site found out about it?
^ It is impossible that you can bypass them or even provide fake information.
Upon registering they will ask your email address and phone number which is surely by determining which country you are through the first country-code number by the mobile number. So if you will provide fake information but you can't provide them what they ask or still you will determine by them because of the IP address that you have used not unless if you use VPN but that is now a different story which is VPN is also not allowed.

Giving false information also doesn't seem like the best thing to do to be able to play at a site after all. I also don't think it is very nice to gamble on a site in the knowledge that you have provided false information there. Then you know that sooner or later problems will arise. The KYC is something almost every casino asks or can ask. And if they find out that you are committing fraud, your account will be blocked and with a bit of bad luck you will also lose your entire deposit.
But for the sake of wandering and discovering something then you wont really be having no choice but to input false information although its not really tolerable because we do know the certain risks
when you do gave out false information and if you do find out that you do like to play on the site then play with those risks that you had done. Ive seen some people been complaining about
asking full name when you do register which it doesnt really look appealing at all.
2859  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why Does This Always happen? on: March 19, 2022, 10:12:29 PM
Maybe it has happened to everyone, you are not alone. But when we sit down and reflect on it, maybe it's our trading psychology. We are so expectant and impatient to seek the profit that we forget about the risks it can bring us when we decide to buy a coin.

The market is unpredictable, so always do a thorough analysis before deciding which coin to buy and feel good with what you have.

This has certainly happened to each of us at least a few times! The longer you are in crypto, the more likely it has happened to you more than a few times! Why is this happening? Well, first we are not sure what we are getting into, how much we can trust the project, so after a while, we sell in the hope that we will find something better to invest in! The other thing is that we are impatient! We don't have enough patience to wait, we are in a hurry to make some profit and we sell too early! That’s the story of many of us, at least in the beginning until we figure some things out, we learn from mistakes, and try not to repeat them!
Market is unpredictable thats why expect on something like this because we dont even know on where price would usually go but as you do able to gain experience you would able to handle it out.

This is where people do usually gain up knowledge on real experiences towards the market and all of us did really have able to experience this one and this is where we do get knowledge.
Wont be sure on what would be the next possible movement but since we are already aware then we do have at least the idea on what we are dealing on.
2860  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your favorite casino reviewer here in Bitcointalk? on: March 19, 2022, 08:17:13 PM
Weird to see some of the casinos that has been accused of scamming here (and with lots of negative trust and flags) being listed as the "best casino" over there.
Are you sure they are all "not" biased or paid for reviewing them as the best casino? Some of them has outdated information or doesn't bother updating the information. Would be nice to see more reviewers that places unbiased reviews (or paid reviews). Most of them places the casino on the top if they are given "better affiliate" deals like good RS with no fee.

Honestly, I'm only familiar with BTCGOSU and Gamblingbro, and I don't trust the others. There are probably some biased or paid reviews, especially from the ones who are affiliated with some casinos and they would benefit if people signed up through their referral links.
Where did you find outdated and inaccurate information?

Back then, i do only trust up BTCGosu when it comes to gambling site reviews and guides and now im aware of Gamblingbro's existence and i could say that this one is pretty good which could really
tie up with Gosu and its true that the rest are trash and shit biased type of gambling review sites and thats the main reason on why i dont really put too much attention.

Current poll results.
Gamblingbro   - 10 (47.6%)
BTCGOSU   - 11 (52.4%)
Bitpunter.io   - 0 (0%)
BestBitcoinCasino.com   - 0 (0%)
casinoreviews.fun   - 0 (0%)

This is almost tie up.
