2841  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do we change the public's view of Crypto world? on: July 21, 2018, 01:39:00 PM
People view on cryptos and Bitcoin has changed

I read, 80% of the coins being dumped now are from long term holders, they want OUT!

Now there are 105,000,000 less visitors at coinbase. Google search for Bitcoin has fallen by -80%
I believe those dumping their coins will surely come back. If they are dumping their coins, there are two things involved; either they want to change portfolio or they are leaving the community. But i think 80% holders dumping their coins is still significant enough to disrupt the market

Well these dumps influence the bear market and that's likely why red days are somewhat prolonged this year, aside from a couple of manipulations. I think once the bear market lifts and the bulls return, people will automatically see bitcoin in a different light again
2842  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How does Bitcoin affect other Crypto? on: July 21, 2018, 01:36:32 PM
Every cryptocurrency is pegged to bitcoin. If for example, 1 coin is equal to 100 sats, then the value of bitcoin in usd increases, that 100 sats would be worth more now.

Agree, but sometimes here is some weird things.
Like look: bitcoin goes up - altcoins goes up, and then - it starts to flat - but altcoins dont, they go down. Dont know why, but it exists definitely

Well alts don't entirely rely on bitcoin's movement because they have their own markets with investore and traders as well. In general of course all of them are linked to btc but it doesn't mean that they're movements  will always be influenced by bitcoin.
2843  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What signup method do you prefer on Bitcoin gambling websites? on: July 20, 2018, 10:39:57 AM
Well i'd be ok with a username password and an email that can serve as a 2fa. Having too much security can be a little complicated and just a log in username and password is not as secure now as before.
2844  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: July 20, 2018, 10:35:38 AM
As reported by Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the Oklahoma City Thunder have agreed to trade Carmelo Anthony a future protected first rounder to the Atlanta Hawks in exchange of Dennis Schroder. The Hawks will also trade Mike Muscala to the Philadelphia 76ers in exchange for Justin Anderson.

Carmelo Anthony won't remain in Atlanta, his contract will be bought out and he'll be free to sign with the Rockets as a free agent. Oklahoma City will also receive Timothe Luwawu Cabarrot from Philadelphia.

Just a follow up. It's a good reading here about that three-team trade:

Why this makes sense for the Thunder

Why this makes sense for the Hawks

Why this makes sense for Carmelo Anthony

On a positive note, looks like everyone involved won and gets an advantage. Let's see what will happened next.

Well i think many saw that coming. A super team around melo just can't work. Schroeder would be a good back up to russ so definitely the thunder gained a lot here. It's anyone's guess where melo will play next since it'll be his choice.
2845  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Emotional day trading on: July 20, 2018, 09:06:19 AM
Do not do emotional day trading.

I have lost nearly 1500$  over one night.  we think this is the best coin for day trading seeing only the chart increment percentage.  then thats emotional only , no statistical investigation or research. if you do not know day please avoid from it. its better.

That's a lot of money. And I feel sorry for you. And I agree with what you're saying. I have only lost around $300 before in one day. I got depressed for quite a bit because I was still more stupid that time lol. Now I always research first before doing anything or joining anything. Especially when money is involved

Well even doing research doesn't guarantee a successful trade so you really have to leave your emotions behind. It's the same with gambling and any other ventures that concerns money. What you have to do is to be firm and have a goal.
2846  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are the bear days over? on: July 20, 2018, 08:47:37 AM
The Crypto market is changing gear gradually.... Red to Green. Is it what am thinking?
we cant easily decide if it is already the start of bull run, we just have to wait for more increase just like what happened last year, when its price continue to grow.

I think people arr mistaking a recovery period here for a bull run. What's happening right now is likely to be a market recovery and soon there will be corrections again. A bull run is what happened last december.
2847  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you feel like quitting? on: July 20, 2018, 08:44:58 AM
The market has been down for too long. Do you feel like quitting cryto because you ve lost much?
For me, am a die hard fan of crypto. I will be a coward if i run away. I will stay till the green light shows. What about you?
no, its price are just go down, it doesnt mean that it is done or anything, why would I feel like quitting if I know that it can go on top again. I should stay more since the fall on its price is a great opportunity to buy.

Yeah. And we should be prepared for times like these if we know what crypto is about before investing in it. This bear market is just part of a repetitive cycle and you only really lose when you quit.
2848  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Worried about Crypto currency future on: July 20, 2018, 08:43:04 AM
This is not the end of crypto. Although he acknowledged that the decline is happening very deeply and in a long time but this is a new beginning for crypto. In addition to the abundance of support began to appear for the crypto is certainly making good reasons for crypto in order to initiate a large pump again in some time in the future.

I like your optimism dude and i think it does make sense. Those critics may very well regret not looking deeper into crypto but they have good points as well to doubt. This market is still very young and has a lot of room to still grow, which i'm sure it will.
2849  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin is for day trading on: July 20, 2018, 07:47:39 AM
I see that people support that altcoin suits better for day trading, and not for holding. I just don't get why.
Day trading is also possible, but it requires you to have technology, real trading is not a simple matter. So if you also want to trade during the day, then you need more expertise.

Well day trading in btc isn't as popular alts since the value would be too big with movements not that fit for daily changes. Some alts are like btc which is good for holding but mostly, they're movements and volatility per day are more suited for day trades.
2850  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Decision in panic! on: July 20, 2018, 07:45:06 AM
I call I'm in a panic attack when the price suddenly going up and going down. And sometimes I made wrong decisions as well as lost a lot of money.  Undecided Undecided
I lost a lot of money. If I knew that the market will fall for 7 months, it would record in the etherium. If I knew that in January there would be no more growth, I would record profits. Here is the most important thing-IF YOU KNEW!

Problem is you don't know. So probably best to take some precautions like controlling your capital and using stop loss. Very few decisions made in panic end up well, and the few times they do can very well be because of luck.
2851  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What would you do if the altcoin price dumped? on: July 20, 2018, 07:41:45 AM
As long we do our research and background check of all related studies to the ICO we have no issues that they will fail. We just need to remain calm and let the team developer make their work to make it recover and support them to buy more while the price are cheap.

When the altcoins price dumped, the first thing I do is stop-loss, you can see it like a panic sell, but I don't, I rather sell to save my money, and buy altcoins back when they get a lower price.

That's probably to safest way to day trade. Utilizing stop loss helps you avoid getting stuck for a long time when the value drops and you have to wait for recovery. It also gives you opportunity to recover losses probably the next day.
2852  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Long time holding, is it a smart thing to do? on: July 20, 2018, 07:39:25 AM
Long time holding is a smart thing to do as far as crypto currency is concern. I have realize that, investors try to play smart in the crypto business in that, they begin to dump most tokens to cause a decline in token prices. This will in turn pave way for them to buy more tokens in other for them to hold for long and sell at higher prices when token values shoot up. In spite of this, is long term holding a smart thing to do as a bounty hunter and why?
Well it is a smart thing if the market does not get better and you are afraid to take the cutloss step. Everything will be fine if you still hold it, but some people feel very frightened to keep holding it and they start selling panic to stop bigger losses.
It probably depends on how long you plan to hold and what project you're planning to take on. You're right that day and swing traders have a tendency to affect the price movement of a coin but if you're looking at holding for a few years, then the few daily and weekly movements would be irrelevant to you
2853  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can I make money (no scam) on: July 20, 2018, 07:34:21 AM
I observe you participate in the signature campign, is not that an online job? what kind of online jobs do you expect? you can participate in campign video or use your youtube channel, you can also use your blog or medium, facebook, twitter and telegram it's all online jobs

Signature campaigns are a good way to earn crypto tokens on the side but is rarely enough to be considered as a job. There are also some offers you can check on the services section. But if you're looking for a constant paying job that is for long term, then you probably would have to look elsewhere.
2854  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Your Money Safer In Crypto than at the Bank? on: July 20, 2018, 07:18:32 AM
As long as you keep your private key, it is safer and more convenient to a certain extent than in a bank. Because you can use and trade at any time.

You're right about your private keys dude though one thing is that banks are backed by government and insurances whice means you'll have means of retrieving your money if ever it gets compromised, one thing you don't have with crypto.
2855  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you want to choose: "HODLING or DAY TRADING" which one? on: July 20, 2018, 07:16:38 AM
If you want to choose: "HODLING or DAY TRADING" which one do you prepare to choose? as we all know that Hodling is only for those who has long patience because hodling is boring and idle while some are thrilled with day trading and continuously aiming at the prospected profit!  don't  hesitate to drop your perspective here.

Well many people have had this argument over which is better and honestly, i think it's up to how a person sees and reacts to the market and his capital. I personally think hodling has lesser risks since it has lesser movement but certain people can develop skills to make them efficient in reading the market.
2856  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Frustrations: Losing Streak on: July 18, 2018, 05:37:16 PM
Put yourself a limit. No matter how much the streak continues, if you have a set amount you are willing to bet on and never go beyond than you can lose that at most. If you put yourself a 50 dollars limit everyday and bet on the place until you lose it.

The streak can be nasty and you can lose that 50 dollars in less than a minute but in the end you will go out knowing that you only put 50 dollars in the line like you promised. If you go beyond that than it means you do not have self control over yourself.

It doesn't mean going beyond your limits doesn't have self control, but there were situations that you need to go beyond because of perceptions. Nobody could really prevent a person to stop that, unless you're his/her mentor in gambling. It was just funny to hear that a gamber needs a mentor, or maybe we can call it a financial advicer to advice you in times confusions. With another cases of controlling ourselves, maybe we shoudl have to learn that if we're not having an assurance of pursuing that unpredicatable decisions to make.
It is right to set a limit and when you reach to that level, leave for home without gambling anymore otherwise you will lose more and then you will be frustrated. I think gambling must be in limits for money and time. If you win streaks you will continue and will gamble for long. Finally you will lose your money. That is the point for high frustration.
Yeah I agree with you, setting a limit is good for gamblers because by this way you can control yourself from losing lot of money at one time and you will never feel frustration. You will get frustrated when you lose streaks continuously and there is no limit for money. When you lose all your money definitely you will get frustrate which will take you in worst conditions.
some people cant put a limit on themselves because of this they would lose more. it would be better if a website put a certain setting where the user can put a limit on their account to prevent more loses and frustation.

This is easy to say that but once your emotion becomes part of the equation, it's very hard to control. When you're frustrated and on a losing streak, you'll see an opportunity to get your losses back at every turn.
2857  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: July 18, 2018, 03:10:03 PM
BREAKING NEWS!

The San Antonio Spurs have agreed to trade Kawhi Leonard and Danny Green to the Toronto Raptors for DeMar DeRozan, Jakob Poeltl and a protected 2019 first-round pick, league sources tell ESPN.

Toronto's first-round pick to San Antonio is a protected 1-20 selection. After one year, it becomes two second-round picks.

A trade call with the teams and the NBA league office is scheduled to begin shortly.

Very interesting trade! I doubt anyone could predict this.

Kawhi Leonard was considered one of the top 5 players in the NBA not too long ago, this is shocking to say the least.  Poppovich always knows what to do so I trust his opinion.

Well honestly that was completely unexpected. Toronto wasn't even in the picture when teams were trying for kawhi lol. I guess it's a good one with derozan getting a chance to be under pop and kawhi getting his own team in the east. Makes it a little more interesting :p
2858  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Market is GREEN - Do you trust it on: July 18, 2018, 02:49:19 PM
I hope that the growth that began yesterday will continue. Of course, the correction will be, but I want the general trend of cryptocurrency growth to remain as long as possible!

Well i wouldn't really expect that much as this can easily be a trap, who knows. It can be pumped by someone or a group of people with enough bitcoins anyway. Or it's the start of slow recovery from a beat down market.
2859  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is the market recovering or just a big joke? on: July 18, 2018, 02:47:16 PM
I hope that it is not a big joke. I believe that the cryptocurrency will definitely take off. This is an irresistible fact. I believe in the future of cryptocurrency.

we have much more reason than is required simply for faith. i'd say u can be sure of a significant increase in the capitalization of the entire market even this year.

I agree with you but it probably would happen a little later on. I'm not too hyped up with a few hundred dollar rise, though obviously it gives out a lot of positive vibes among the community.
2860  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I think this year 1 eth will peak at $ 2000 on: July 18, 2018, 02:42:29 PM
$ 2000 is likely to be difficult to break in the near future this market is not normal yet the many negative issues from various media will hamper the growth of crypto currency demand in the market and if eth able to return to the price of $ 1200 dollars it is very unusual if it happens in Q3 this.

What is normal though? Volatility is what's normal in this market.  Though 2k usd is hoping a bit too far lol. Eth would be fortunate to even break 1k this year at the rate things are going so far.
