2841  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: By 2020 the top 50 coin worth $1billion each on: May 23, 2017, 06:49:31 PM
I totally agree, I can even extend it to top 100, the growth in the space is growing exponentially and expect this to continue but by then there will be a form of regulation in the space and expect one or two of these developers to have end up in prison
2842  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Define Altcoin Success on: May 23, 2017, 06:46:47 PM
Why don't people understand that the model of the traditional market is different from crypto and that is why most of us here are in the space from every part of the world. They can only come to us not the way round
2843  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tried to send some eth, got 'cancelled' and 'out of gas' on: May 23, 2017, 06:44:29 PM
Hello, i tried to send 3 eth via Ledger Nano wallet three times.
In each case I had 'out of gas' and 'cancelled' status for each operation.
where is no possibility to increase gas during sending a transaction in ledger.
what's wrong? help!

Increase the gas limit and if you think is not the gas, just use myetherwallet.com for the transaction, it is a very good site
2844  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bancor | Protocol for Smart-tokens, solving the liquidity problem on: May 23, 2017, 06:41:30 PM
Only 9 days to ICO and we still know so little about it. Will it be daleyed?

The ICO date has been postponed but the new date is not official, waiting for the new date. I hope the structure of the ICO is made public, I want to make plans for this ICO.

What do you mean by 'the structure of the ICO' - terms and conditions?

I mean Structure, how many Ethers will give X number of Bancor tokens, also what is the minimum cap and the hard cap for the ICO fund

i think this coin very good for trading the movement of price very good so profitable..
i always keep for trade this coin Smiley

Good  trading volume for some days now, I think the market has gain full confidence in the project. If we can get on Poloniex which I doubt because of the technical issue the site is suffering, $1 will be the new floor
2846  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Minereum - The first Self Mining Smart Contract - NOW TRADING -NEW ROADMAP on: May 21, 2017, 07:51:22 PM
how much ether do i need in MEW for gas to send my 70 MNE to livecoin?

Gas min 400000 or +

Gas is around 65000 and 70000.
If you want to make your tx will be confirmed very fast then always use GAS over 80K

I think the gas issue depends on how congested the network is, I set 200000 gas and saw information of out of gas

2848  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think BU hardfork or use UASF now is good idea? on: May 21, 2017, 07:44:02 PM

Since SegWit/BU drama still on going and looks like consensus won't happen any time soon, do you think forcing miner to do BU hardfork or use UASF now is good idea (even with risk block split and bitcoin price crashing)?
I think it's not bad idea since miners have choose different solution and current bitcoin condition get worse over time.

What makes you think the price would crash after a fork? People wouldn't lose anything and their Bitcoins would remain safe.

I believe that hard fork will crash the price but it present a great opportunity for those that truly believe in Bitcoin to buy at a lower price again.

I just have a feeling that UASF will become successful and miners influence of the network would then waned significantly.
2849  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why not FIX the Transaction Fee? on: May 21, 2017, 07:40:39 PM
I think the transaction fee is fixed but because too many transactions are long not get confirmed then there is the increase transaction fee.

But it is only fixed in Satoshi not USD value. Currently 50ksat is worth more than a Dollar and the transaction fee is now 100ksat minimum
2850  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I think we are greedy on: May 21, 2017, 07:38:18 PM
ok.. now imagine your not american

imagine your part of the 4 billion unbanked people that want to convert their local currency to bitcoin
now imagine you being told BEFORE even thinking about how much your actually wanting to hold as bitcoin, that 20-40 minimum wage labour and you still may end up waiting 36 hours is "acceptable" just to get handed bitcoin as the transaction fee..

yep in many countries a minimum wage hour is 5-10cents

so before thinking $1-$4 is acceptable.. think about those that really need bitcoin..
Franky, I perfectly understand and share your opinion.

Bitcoin users are often caught in their own little world and  that shape their opinion through the lens of life standards in the first world country.
At the same time I don't think that Bitcoin (even with future scaling solution, which will hopefully lower tx fees significantly and improve our network)
will be able to help unbanked poor people. For these people whole system needs to change, they are being exploited in their countries with crazy low wages,
bitcoin alone is not enough to change the world for them, they need to earn more to be able to afford it.

It doesn't matter if they all pay $100 fee, all their transactions will still not get confirmed..

I totally agree with you, the high transaction fee doesn't really matter again because the issue is that the blocks can just serve the current  demand again and expect this to continue. I believe the miners will be loving this but time will certainly catch up with them
2851  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: high fees, bitcoin or ethereum! on: May 21, 2017, 07:32:11 PM
I have said it before that the situation BTC find itself all Altcoins will love to be in that position, the issue of transaction fee will be worse in Ethereum, it is just a matter of time.
2852  Economy / Economics / Re: Worst bitcoin decision you've ever made? on: May 19, 2017, 05:37:20 AM
Mine was to invest in cloud mining (Hash Ocean), it was a stupid thing to do then because I read alot of post saying they are scam but because of greed I was blind to reality.
2853  Economy / Economics / Re: The Everything Bubble on: May 19, 2017, 05:35:07 AM
Actually there are so many bubbles. Some better projects with really cheap comparing with others. For example monero is a such a nice projects with great expectaions from investors. But the price is so fixed. However for example xrp so much volume and overpriced in a very short time period.

Agreed. XRP put a ton more into their economy then say they are going to lock it up. That created a price crash when they added more and when they said they will lock a lot of it up it created a bigger bubble
Ripple must be very good example in recent times for a bubble. I hope it will get crashed down more quickly.

Did you read any ripple based ETF nor any market giant is going to adopt ripple as one of their payment option, then for what reason it is getting 10x appreciations ? As long as I am looking into their in depth related things, there was no solid events to support it to grow. Yet, it is rising in market, it must be just a bubble and may pop out at any time.

The Ripple story just shows how irrational some people are when it comes to investing (speculating) I think Ripples will take alot of people down but how great it will be I don't know
2854  Economy / Economics / Re: First investments in bitcoins on: May 19, 2017, 05:32:34 AM
With today's situation I guess I will stop buying them for now. I will buy once it falls back to 1000 dollar (as I'm posting at the time one btc equals 1900 dollars.) I would wait for sure. It may rise but it may fall below the expectations very fast so I don't want to take the risk at this time really. If I had lots of money and cost to bear the loss then I would have thought of investing in it.

What will make the price go down to $1000, I don't think the market is pricing in Bitcoin Unlimited hard fork into the price again. The only thing holding back BTC is the scaling issue and when this is solved expect the price to move to $10k.
2855  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bancor | Protocol for Smart-tokens, solving the liquidity problem on: May 19, 2017, 05:27:12 AM
What sort of money are people keen to put towards such a Project ?

I can not speak for others but I made a very-very good run on ETH in recent months (over 500%) and Bancor is my next target. I plan on shifting a certain % of that but not more than a thousand ETH.

i would put my bets also to eth

to ETH? i would bet that bancor rises more than ETH atleast short term
I would love to see Bancor do Ether run or even outperform it, but the value of Ethereum comes from the number of users on the platform, alot of developers are sitting on millions of Ethers locked in their wallets and this reduced the supply on the exchanges and this makes the price to go up. Bancor is not offering anything close to this because the fundamentals are different.

Just one day ico finished
Too late getting information about this ico Embarrassed

in a day it's not. Just need an hour . ico is one of the record's history . 275K ETH.

I really like the decision of the team to use hard cap and prevent whales, what I'm looking for now if we are serious about decentralisation is the cap on fund each address can invest into the ICO fund. If the team wants to be greedy like Gnosis team they would have raised close to 500k Ethers
2857  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Minereum - The first Self Mining Smart Contract - NOW TRADING -NEW ROADMAP on: May 17, 2017, 07:20:11 AM
How coins is one address able to mine per day, the project seems to be growing but now I want to seriously look into this project.
2858  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: THE OFFICIAL ARAGON (ANT) CROWDSALE AND PROJECT THREAD on: May 17, 2017, 07:17:05 AM
There is a hard cap at 100 million but there is also a soft cap that will be initiated manually.
$100 million hard cap, this must be a joke another DAO in making. I will try to confirm this, if this is true I will stay away. There are better projects out there with good cap that provide better prospect than this.
2859  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: SharesHub ICO [Signature Campaign] on: May 17, 2017, 07:11:20 AM
This should be moved to Altcoin market section

Do you think is good buy gup now or better wait for a dump? thanks

I could be wrong but i think the epic dump is over. You can get GUP at 7k 2 days ago. However, GUP under 10K is a bargain, marketcap still under $13 Milion, plenty room to grow
Agree there is plenty of room to grow, but for the dump, I think when BTC rally stop money will move back into Altcoins. Altcoins market today again is in red
