2841  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Any other danger apart from storing funds on exchanges? on: December 19, 2022, 08:25:29 AM
Why are people scared of centralized projects too? I thought keeping money in exchanges is the danger?

They have a good reason why investors are afraid of keeping their coins in exchange it's not a false dilemma, there are present and clear dangers in storing your coins on exchanges after what happened to FTX, people should always be aware of the danger of custodial wallet and not owning your private keys means not owning your coins.

Quote
I have Cronos and Sologenic in my wallet and I believe even with the going FUD they will bring me good profits or is there more that I should know?
It's your choice and decision if you did your research and you believe that these two coins will yield you profit then it's good for you just protect your coins by doing the right thing and that is using a noncustodial wallet to store your coins of choice.

2842  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: High Profit Projects Are Prone To Scam on: December 18, 2022, 09:41:28 PM
With my little experience so far, I have come to realize that most crypto projects that promise Investors excessive returns on their Investment eventually turn out to be scam.
It really is a scam from the start these projects use the yield model to entice investors from the start

Quote
I once participated in a a certain project that was giving Investors about 5 times (5×) bonus during their presale. The team kept postponing the exchange listing date until everybody got tired of them and realized that, it was a scam project. When the
complaints on the Telegram group became too much, the project team just abandoned the group, leaving Investors with bot.
This is always been the complaint they really don't have any plan on listing because it will cost a lot and they want to keep the money to themselves they want more investors and when exposed they will just shut down the project, sorry for your loss but this is the situation now in the altcoin.

Quote
1. So as a new trader,  it is always important to do your own research before any Investment with any upcoming crypto project.
2. Invest what you can afford to lose
3. Try to avoid some of these projects with that promise outrageous profits on investment, most of them are not realistic. How can you expect 300,000% annual percentage yield from a new project?
Without a working platform and a skilled team projects like that are doomed never to invest in projects that promise high interest and potential profit, the altcoin state is now in a sorry state you can hardly see a good new project now.

2843  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best affiliate program via Most trusted online sports betting and casino website on: December 18, 2022, 02:40:14 PM
what is criteria do they use to define themselves as "the most trusted" considering that they don't have a track record nor reviews nor have they been online for a long time?

They don't deserve our trust if they cannot back it up, these new casinos cannot come here and claimed something that they are not because we are going to question them, new casinos should stop putting these best and trusted because the community are good at looking on the casino's status, they are guilty of lying and deceiving people of claiming something that they are not

Quote
in short, they still have a long way to go before being able to assign themselves this title.
in any case, in a topic of this kind, a representative should remain to answer a bit as is the case for all the topics of casinos or reputable betting sites ...

Based on what they are showing right now, they are not headed in the right direction I don't recommend playing here there are better casinos and even new casinos that are worth looking at and playing, I recommend forgetting this one.
2844  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty hunters, how much you really earned in the last two years? on: December 18, 2022, 01:00:01 PM
2017 was a bounty with a large prize of up to thousands of dollars that I had received at that time, entering 2019 very few projects have succeeded in turning into money. and at the end of 2020 another bounty started which was quite interesting and successful, such as the DIA project, the CARTESI bounty which was developed by a bounty manager with a good reputation. can develop long term until now

2016 to 2018 are the best years to be in a bounty campaign, all projects are good the allocation equals your one month's salary or even more in your country I have 8 campaigns back then where I managed to build our house through my rewards and set up a store but now with so many bounty hunters coming and just joined just any bounty with no good projects to promote bounty hunters can hardly earn $100 a month, the altcoins are saturated and many investors lose and continue to lose money.
Their confidence in altcoins has to diminish, it's only a matter of time before we see the end of bounty hunting.
2845  Economy / Reputation / Re: It sucks that 1xbit still runs on: December 18, 2022, 10:44:14 AM
1XBIT proves that advertising works and there's corruption among influencers and reviewers, there are reviewers that give 1XBIT  high ratings and advertising networks accepts money to advertise 1XBIT and since scam is not moderated in this forum they can promote their platform here, but with all the warnings we've given here the gamblers who played here are lesser now they have to spend more to combat these warnings that will stand as long as they do not resolve these accusations.

2847  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Affiliate signature campaign on: December 18, 2022, 04:06:57 AM
>>snip<<
Welps, like I thought before, this kind of campaign won't favor those wearing the signature unless if the person wearing the signature has a casino review site, youtube channel or blog with good traffic, which i very well know most members here don't have.

The casino will keep getting the exposure via one's signature while, they won't get anything in return for weeks or even months. The only option is probably to shill the casino as hard as one can in every post while asking users to sign up using the ref link in the signature.

Blackjack.fun has good affiliate rewards but launching a signature campaign here is unlikely that participants are going to get new members, a signature is for branding and gaining trust of the gambling community, I remember signing up to one casino I did not sign up through a signature I check on their announcement thread and sign up there if not for the signature campaign I will not sign up, signature is a sign that you have a strong presence here in this forum and that will make you competitive.
2848  Other / Meta / Re: Most users just state their opinion on a topic rather than discuss it on: December 17, 2022, 09:08:58 PM
In the few period of time I've spent on the forum, I've noticed that most times, people just come to a topic and state their opinions without coming back to add more contributions on such topics, hence discussion seems difficult especially for people in some signature campaigns.
Now my question is,
~Why does it seem difficult to continue a discussion on a topic.
~Why do people just state their opinions rather than continue a discussion?
Let's discuss please

We have so many members and if we quote a lot of member's posts the topic will be out of focus, once you post your facts and opinions on the subject there's no need to come back you can only come back and quote if there is additional info on the topic that you think is not yet added by other members, I don't want a topic about a casino that will end a topic about on something out of it, like a dog.
I'm not against coming back to discuss further on the topic I always do that on main events like boxing where I first post about the fight before it happens and come back after the fight for post analysis.
2849  Other / Meta / Re: So many threads on FIFA World Cup 2022 on: December 17, 2022, 02:48:22 PM
I noticed same thing but on a second thought I said the situation is manageable and normal.
This is World Cup and it happens once every 4yrs. Meanwhile every other major leagues are in pause for the world cup. It shouldn't bother us much because in less than few days the world cup will be over.
By or before January all those threads will be irrelevant. Since they aren't threads that will linger for years, I'll suggest the moderators ignore them and in few days or weeks time they are all buried in 4 to 5 pages.

I agree next month all these topics are locked and it will take another 4 years to have so many threads like this, but this is the only event where we have multiple threads there are other sporting events but the maximum is always two like in boxing and NBA finals I seldom post on these threads as it's not my interest but because this is the World's number 1 sporting events with billions of supporters all over the world and here in Bitcointalk, we could not have one discussion and topics.
2850  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Ryan Garcia vs Mercito Gesta (January) on: December 17, 2022, 01:53:29 PM

Maybe there's less risk here but there's no assurance that they will win. Well, for Ryan Garcia, his camp knows how important this fight before a big fight with Tank Davis, so they choose a fighter that could give Garcia a good challenge. Until this fight is over, we cannot be too excited with Garcia's fight on Tank Davis as you know, upset could happen.
Between Ryan's opponent and Tank's opponent, Ryan is facing a risky challenger, Gesta's first fight was in 2003 and he fought for world titles two times already in 2012 and 2018 he is in battle tested and he just comes from a Unanimous decision win against Diaz he should not underestimate the guy style is very different from all the other boxers that Ryan has fought, he can engage and he is a good counter puncher, he will have a very good tune fight in Gesta and talking about upsets it's possible here.
2851  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future Outlook of Tron (TRX) - It can be next Ethereum? on: December 17, 2022, 12:49:32 PM

I'd only use TRX for quick and cheap transfers, but not as a store of value. With so many competitors out there, replacing ETH becomes a distant dream. Who knows how far TRX will go in the future? Just my thoughts Grin

I also used to believe that it was good for HODL Tron because of its controversial developer, it's fast and cheap and but after three years without any improvement in the price I dump and trade it to Bitcoin and Eth, I only used it now for trading my coins to fiat, I trade my coins to Tron then transfer it to our local exchange and trade it to fiat it saved me 70% of the fee, as long as Tron is fast and cheap I'm still going to use but for storing for future profit I don't think it has potential.

I'm still surprised that some people are still comparing Tron to ETH when it was settled long ago and that it can't ever replace Eth, those who believe in this are Tron's whales and die-hard supporters.
2852  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A Chilling Realization on: December 17, 2022, 08:33:33 AM
The bitcoin community has experienced one heck of a roller-coaster trip in 2022.
It really is stormy imagine two bad news in a year two bad events that make investors lose their trust in the industry

Quote
I initially joined a few Telegram and Discord communities and started following YouTubers that were influential in cryptocurrencies and bitcoin at the beginning of the year.
If they are shilling altcoins, it's not worth following these influencers there is only one coin to trust in any event, and its only Bitcoin

Quote
I also had followed a couple of them on Twitter. But as the month s rolled by, I began to see a pattern, when it became clear that the bear market's end was still far off. I noticed this and came to the conclusion that nobody knew anything. Nobody can predict what will happen next.
They are making money from their predictions and shilling coins many of them are whales of particular coins and they are shilling them so they can dump them on you, check their previous predictions and see their average if the average is lower than 50% its not worth following these so-called influencers

Quote
Therefore the onus is on you as an individual to develop your own method, manage risk, and adhere to the plan no matter what, all the while continuously growing and learning from your mistakes.
The thing is being open-minded develop your own check out others and do comparisons, there is no perfect analysis but we have to be open and always quick to take action.
2853  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Beware of BITYX . COM Exchange Total scam lost 5100 $ in USDT & Bitcoin on: December 17, 2022, 05:57:58 AM
Since account hasn't changed email and/or password lately, I think its more likely that they just hired that Legendary account to publish their ANN, thinking it will somehow make them more legit. Anyway, regardless ofof why account is promoting this scam exchange, I've tagged it and raised Flag Type 1  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=3067

Supported!

At the time of change of hands allegation, the account did change its email according from the posts, although not the password which was weird...still, it had an evident change of posting pattern: account started posting in russian boards - i know bilingual people exist but the account has also stopped posting in the german boards where they have been a regular since they registered. Further, they didn't do anything despite the negative tags considering that they appear to trade regularly using the account which is why I'm learning towards change of hands.

According to BPIP.org there is a change of password in 2019 there's a possibility that there is indeed a change of hands on this account, I supported the flag and their campaign here in Bitcointalk is finally over now that they are tagged and expose

Just how bad is the bear market right now?
Historically low prices have endured for a longer period of time in the present bear market cycle than in any other.

It's bad because I still keep seeing that bad news about FTX and about people whining about their losses and the market having a hard time moving up because of too many FUD this 2022 is one of the hardest years for the industry as two of the platforms in the industry Luna and FTX gave us the biggest fiasco in the history of the industry, 2022 is forgettable but we must not lose hope 2023 is just a year for another halving and there will be more great news coming to stop from the likes of FTX and Luna from happening again.
2855  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: turned gambler after investing in BTC or investor turned gambler? on: December 16, 2022, 01:10:38 PM

Are you a gambler that become an investor or an investor that turned into a gambler?

I really don't like to gamble online but I do have experience playing in casinos back then you need credit card and bank account to play something I don't want to use to gamble as its risky and my credit limit is just enough to my household purchase, but after the popularity of Cryptocurrency and many online casinos using Cryptocurrency I was tempted to play, its fun easy and cheap I remember my first deposit was $10 worth Doge so from investor I become a gambler, but there's a lot of risk playing in casino than investing or trading I found that out after losing huge amount of money.
2856  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Go-to casino on: December 16, 2022, 11:19:32 AM
Hi guys, just interested what are your casino's of choice? Or just general online sites?
And what are your go-to games?

It just happens that I'm on this campaign but everything that is on this casino is real and can be verified they have a claim to be the number one casino in the industry I'm talking about Stake.com and these are just some of their achievement anbd these achievements is what makes them have an edge over their competitors.

and they got celebrities as ambassador

Adesanya as Stake Ambassador

One celebrity wagered over $1 billion
Drake’s Stakes: The Canadian Rapper Who Wagered Over $1 Billion In 2 Months

They have the longest marketing campaign here you just have to look around and see the huge numbers of participants wearing their banners.
2857  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Can we suffer at some exchange due to some of their services' breach? on: December 16, 2022, 08:00:44 AM
Centralized means centralized, doesn't matter how good it is. Using centralized means we already compromised our privacy. Though sometimes we don't lose funds we have been losing our data during the data breach. Even top exchange Binance is not out of data breach. So day by day it's become impossible to trust any exchange whether with our funds or data. There is no solution except dex or swap where we can't find our desired coins sometimes.

Am I the only one wishing that the top exchanges in the industry are all DEX but is unlikely to happen because investors are into so many coins and the lack of liquidity makes them turn to centralized exchanges because these centralized exchanges are good at manipulating the price and adding liquidity to attract users to trade on their platform, we either choose DEX or there should be regulation that will monitor the behavior of these centralized exchanges.
A centralized exchange is a necessary evil in this industry whether we like it or not.
2858  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Better Ways To Manage Energy Consumption For Casino Centers. on: December 16, 2022, 02:37:08 AM
Of all the industries the live casino industry is hard to manage or save energy consumption people want to see glittering lights and all electrical run equipment running, this is what people came here and they spend just to be here not only to play but also to have a memorable experience because people are by nature are attracted to glittering lights, Go GREEN is good but it should be on areas that the solar can keep up powering but when it comes to machines and billboards which needs a huge electrical consumption, they have to evaluate between consumption and profit.
2859  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What New And Other Casinos Should Do To Get To The Top And Edge Top Casinos on: December 15, 2022, 03:37:03 PM
New casinos should focus on giveaways and marketing first, massive and continuous marketing will do the wonder and when they gain players they should launch giveaways and should have a dedicated forum representative that will address all concerns, reputation is very important it ranks high on what gamblers are looking for a casino they want to have a peace of mind playing knowing that if they win a big amount they will get their winnings as long as they play within the rules of the casino.
2860  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tipping during live slot, or casino games. on: December 15, 2022, 01:42:02 PM
It's a part of tradition it's not obligatory but it can tell the kind of person you are if you're winning when you are tipping the guy who guides when you need it so tip if you win a big amount, there is such a thing as a lucky attendant and I know a friend who keeps winning in a slot because of the nice attendant who always wish him well everything he makes a spin, so as a sign of goodwill its good to tip even a small amount.
