2841  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Btc price sideways not what the traders want on: November 20, 2021, 01:59:16 PM
Btc price sideways move not what traders want.
Trading should and must work only one way one direction.
Short or LONG
Perhaps something for SEC to deal with the finance regulaters want to regulate...well here thing they can regulate now need to stop sideways moves on the markets.
Solution here: we make CME work everyday not just sunday to friday !!
Reason why as we know when market goes one direction we earn profit with leverage one way but if sideways then its hard to use futures trading

For start let those regulaters sec and those kind of guys who eating donuts do it something useful for traders.
Every trader want this

That will never happen because if the price just moves in upwards or downwards direction the it will be relatively easy to predict the trend.
If it becomes easy to predict the trend then it will become highly volatile since everyone will be doing the same thing.
The pump and dump will take place in huge fluctuations and to be honest we cannot really control the market movements.
It has to occur naturally so that traders can do analysis on real movements and not regulated manipulations.

The problem is there are more than 44 million users registered in Freebitco.in,at least this is some of the highest ID-s I have seen there and to get in the top ten to win a share of the lottery is near impossible for most of us.However a few persons here have won a share of the weekly lottery and one just won the Lambo not long ago so anything can happen,it is just luck based but it is a very hard luck to come by,as long as you get lottery tickets by WoF spins or from the free spins nothing to lose, you only will have false hope most of the time during Sunday but we all have such hopes during that day,it is a few years every Sunday I wait to see if I won anything in the weekly lottery.

It looks like over 48 mln players have already registered on freebitcoin. You can check it by clicking the stats tab in the menu of the website. Regarding the lottery, I noticed that the total number of lottery tickets has decreased significantly in the last few lottery rounds. For example, there were 250-300 mln tickets a few weeks ago, but now it's only 110 mln tickets in the current lottery round. It is still a huge number of tickets, and the winning still depends only on luck. However, it also means that the chances of winning a prize have increased for everyone at least 2 times.
^ Wow, it is kinda I am impressed with the large user's number.
Probably most of them as of now is not active yet and not all the time there is a bettor who bought tickets. However, how lucky I am if even we have hundreds of lottery tickets compared to them if we will win. But the problem here is your chances of winning are very small and you cant be able to win. But until now I keep hoping that someday, I will be able to win this lottery jackpot prize.

You are right, many of those users won't be active and many of them would be having multiple accounts as well.
Even I had created few accounts earlier but I don't have access to them any more. I forgot their email and passwords.
I had good amount of referrals in one account but I don't even remember which account was it.
So yeah winning a lottery is definitely a luck and buying lottery tickets only a rich man's game here.
If the person has good amount of money then he can surely buy some lottery tickets for fun and see how luck favors him.
But for the others, it's probably best to earn lottery tickets from the spins and wagering.
If luck really favors us then we might win the lottery with just those tickets.

Lives need to be balanced between our jobs, our time for family and pleasure and if we think that we already have fun and enjoy playing gambling, we need to stop right away before we lose control over ourselves.
So it is better to take a break from gambling and spend our time with other things because that will help us avoid the addiction that can come to us.

That is where all the gamblers need to improvise. Having control on themself is where most of the gamblers fail.
Self control is a very important aspect of life and which helps us through every situation in life.
While gambling having a good self control will not only get us more fun but also will also help us limit our losses.
It will help us to keep our mind relaxed so that we can keep a good balance in all the things.
2844  Local / India / Re: How many in this community are into NFT? on: November 20, 2021, 12:56:16 PM
I have been looking into the NFT space for a month now on Opensea and there are many interesting things that I came to know and one of them is the rarity tool. As per my understanding if the rarity of your digital art is less than 2000 then it is considered good. The only thing that is prohibiting me to enter this space is the transaction fee of Ethereum. It seems the art is costing cheaper than the fee. Ayone knows good BEP20 or Matic NFT platforms or any project worth looking for?

Rarity of the art depends on various factors such as number of images in the collection, number of traits the art have, % of each traits the collection has etc...
All of these together determines how rare the art is. ETH NFTs are really costly because of the gas fess.
I have never thought of diving into ETH NFTs. I do have some experience in Solana NFTs though.
Solana NFTs are the best ones after ETH NFTs. They are Cheap and has some good projects.

But the NFT hype is decreasing these days in my opinion.

Do you know any good project in Solano NFT or any upcoming ones. Not much information is coming out of Solano NFT at the moment.

The best NFT project till date on Solana blockchain is Aurory. They have a good team and concept.
The current floor price is around 21 SOL which means around $4500 which is huge for an average person like me.

Website link : https://aurory.io/
You can buy it from : https://www.solanart.io/

Quote
Another question does anyone knows where to find information and news related to the NFT space? I am seriously Interested in getting those JPG images Grin

You can follow the NFT space on Twitter and Discord. On twitter search for hashtags like #NFT #SolanaNFT #NFTGiveaway #NFTshill etc...
These will give you the tweets from various NFT projects. Follow the ones which are of your interest and join their Discord servers.

Important point : There will be many NFT projects but don't fall for them. Do a thorough research before putting your money in any of them.
2845  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't buy your greed on: November 19, 2021, 06:29:39 AM
Anytime Bitcoin is bullish, there is a lot of talk in the media. People get suddenly interested in  cryptocurrency. This is the period they make all the wrong decisions, fall for scams. Just this morning a friend came to me asking me how he can invest in crypto. I was surprised because he always has been skeptical of Bitcoin. The high gains of crypto like wakanda inu and shiba is his attraction to the crypto space. These kind of people look at crypto as ponzi and just want to make quick money. He asked some annoying questions like "How much can I make if I invest?" How much have you made since you started? "When can one withdraw?" e.t.c.
I gave him some pdf files and books on the subject. He didn't look like he's going to read them. My friend is one of those who flock to crypto attracted by hype.
https://alternative.me/crypto/fear-and-greed-index/

The title is subjective because I get greedy when bitcoin dumps and I start to buy bitcoin as well as few of my favorite altcoins when market is dumping.
So that's actually a good thing to do. Buy when people are fearful and sell when people are greedy.
It's just that context of greed gets changed for some people.

And yes, buying just because of the hype is definitely a wrong thing to do. If anyone is investing in any asset just because of the hype then he is too late to invest in it.
Many would have already invested and we never know when the trend would reverse causing a loss of money.
So just tell anyone who asks you to do a research before investing and be sure about their own choices before investing.
2846  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Adoption Report Card - Year 12 on: November 19, 2021, 05:55:34 AM
Bitcoin class adoption has become the following at year 12:

- Poor man's currency

How has bitcoin become a poor man's currency ? Explain !

Quote
- Wealthy man's dangerously appealing new asset class

The wealthy are buying because they know bitcoin's potential and that it could be worth lot more in the future.

Quote
- Middle class man's not very much. Middle class in developed countries have way better medium of exchanges (or are at least viewed as such), and middle class in developed countries aren't going to pay $6,000 for 1/10th of something, or $600 for 1/100th of something.

That's what you think but that is not the case. People from all the countries are buying bitcoin from as low as a few dollars to thousands of dollars worth bitcoins.

Overall adoption grade: B-
Discuss.

If there was really a reporting tool for bitcoin then it would definitely get A or A+
Bitcoin has given our more returns than any other asset.

I also sometimes play to release my stress with normal amounts that i am not afraid to loose but when i am facing regular loss taking some break from gambling is quite good and spending time with family on weekends rather than spending all on gambling. We need to balance each aspect of our life and give time to gambling and family.

That is called money management and time management which are crucial things in our life.
Taking regular breaks from gambling will lead us to healthy gambling and will give us the fun we need to gamble.
Not taking regular breaks will lead to excess of gambling and will eventually suck up our money turning it into dust.
I have been gambling by taking regular breaks since 10 - 15 months and it has been really fun gambling this way.

Idk, for some reason I like when something like this

happens in the lottery draw. I mean, it's kinda fair when guys with so many tickets win something good. I feel like they deserve it.

As of me, I've never had more than 20k tickets, and normally I have less than 2k.  So I'm always counting on some extreme luck. I know I don't "deserve" to end up in the top 10 with my win chance less than 0.01%, but still I hope I will be there one day. Smiley

Of course, these gamblers with a huge number of tickets have a better chance of winning a prize, but this shouldn't mean that they deserve it. By the way, the winner in 3rd place had only 89 tickets in this round. It means that winning in this lottery depends only on luck, especially since many users with a small number of tickets have already won many times in previous rounds. I even wonder if there was at least one lottery round on freebitcoin when each winner had 500k or 1 mln tickets.

The people who hold so many tickets obviously deserve it because they got those tickets by wagering BTC or buying them and not just out of luck.
They would have received some portion of the tickets from the free spins but most of them would be from wagering or buying it for BTC.
People who have less tickets deserve less than them since they wouldn't have put in much effort in collecting the tickets.
2849  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Fantom done? on: November 19, 2021, 04:26:41 AM
FTM is a good coin and has really good potential as the project is doing great already. Whoever says FTM is going to zero is just speculating.
Currently, the whole market is facing a correction and it is quite normal to see such huge dips.
If you believe in the project then just keep holding your coins and stack more at cheaper prices while you can.

May I ask you a question? Do you want to buy more ftm now? It’s been crashing today.

Yes I would definitely buy some FTM but not right now. The price is still dumping and so I will wait until it bottoms out.
Once the trend is reversed and price starts pumping again I will buy more FTM at that time.
People generally don't buy in these opportunities and buy when they see the price is pumping.
By the time they enter the market the price is already pumped and then they lose money in the dump.
2850  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will MEME coin rule the world? on: November 18, 2021, 03:45:42 PM
For example, the Mufasa coin savior of the Jungle was built on BSC, plans on starting its meme coin ($MUFA) with the idea of NFT, gaming, and saving the planet with its Token.

How can a meme coin have a utility ? If it has utility it's not a meme coin.
Meme coin are created just for fun which is exactly why it will not survive in the long run.
It might stay in the market like how dogecoin has survived all these years but it won't help the crypto ecosystem in any way.
It will just be used for speculative purposes. Meme coins are just shitcoins and the hype will end soon.

Impossible is nothing but I also I find it highly not probable for Bitcoin price to get over 80.000 dollars, the maximum predicted price I have heard for November in many other places was 79.000 dollars,so I am going to bet 70-79k dollars if that is a possible option.

$79k is highly unlikely for bitcoin by the end of this month. Although we still have 12 days which is more than enough to reach that price.
We are facing a correction right now and we don't how many days more will it last. So the first bitcoin has to do it get back to $66k level.
Then comes the journey to a new ATH.

Fun Token meanwhile is at Sigma in Malta but I don't see any price improvement by that event so far, hopefully after it ends we may see price appreciation to the upside a bit.

Even I had heard about FUN at Malta and also about the layer 2 FUN token on the polygon network.
I thought the price would increased from these news but it doesn't look like the same.

It is since February since I am holding those 12.500 tokens and I want to make a quick buck out of them, for example at 0.20 I would sell them all for 2500 dollars and buy a mining rig with two powerful cards.

That sounds like a plan. Mining is really fascinating but needs a good investment in beginning.

Hello Dosto, mujhe pata hain ke bohut sare indian vai ney whitepaper translation kar sakta hain, chahe boh kisivi language ho, English to Hindi ya phir English to Bengali.
Mujhe vi full Translation karna shikna hain so kisi brother ney mujhe help karoge toh bohut aachcha hoga mere liye. Mujhe pata hain ke sab ka samay ka kimat hain isliye mey payment vi kar dunga jo mujhe shikhayega. Thank You

To learn whitepaper translation the best thing to start with would be read the whitepaper in those specific languages.
For example if you want to learn how to translate from English to Hindi then you can read the Bitcoin Whitepaper in Hindi.
You will get a clear idea of how the whitepaper in that specific language should look like and sound like.

Then start with some whitepaper and use dictionaries. You can use google translate but only as a reference.
You will have to work on sentence formation as well as retranslate some of those words as google translate is not very good at translation.
2856  Local / India / Re: How many in this community are into NFT? on: November 17, 2021, 04:02:49 PM
NFTs are quite new to be honest. It's just like the ICO era where everybody wanted to hop in to the boat and make money investing in shit tokens.
Many made good profits in the beginning but as the ICO era came to an end people started losing their money.
NFT era is just the ICO era and people started throwing their money buying NFTs with shit art.
But these days not every NFT project is making money. In fact most of them are not gaining any traction.
People are just starting to realize that they should not blindly invest in all the NFTs.

To be honest, NFT is a really cool technology but people are using it for wrong purposes.
Owning a digital asset which is unique is really a cool tech but it has to be utilized in a proper way to make the most out of it.
Only time will tell how good NFTs can be. But one thing is for sure and that is that the these shit arts are not gonna make it in the long run.
Most of these NFT projects will die soon.
2857  Local / India / Re: VHP Leader wrote to HM & FM to ban CryptoCurrency and got response on: November 17, 2021, 03:44:32 PM

Can you please decrease the size to 600 instead ?

India is not planning to impose an upright ban on cryptocurrencies as per the latest news on the internet.
India is instead planning to regulate cryptocurrencies by allowing it to be used as assets and not as payment methods.
This is a good news in itself because although not a payment method but Indian traders will be able to trade the coins if the regulation gets approved.
Most of the people throughout the world uses cryptocurrencies as assets for trading and regulating it will allow many others to take part in this hustle.

What do you think ?
Will this affect the regulations, rules, laws negatively?

Yes it will affect the regulations and laws but not negatively. Those MPs are getting paid to make the gambling regulations easier.
Although they are being corrupted they will still favor the gambling casinos because of the huge money being paid to them.
If anybody else comes in their way, casinos might even corrupt them but they will get their task done anyhow.
This is how corruption spreads throughout the nation. It's nothing new in my nation.
2859  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The reason why Crash Games usually crash at lower values on: November 17, 2021, 03:24:04 PM
We have to keep in mind that when we are playing for fun, we are putting in money that we can afford to lose.
So in this scenario, if we can afford to lose the money then there's no stress in losing which directly means that we can still have the fun while playing.
So it just depends on the amount of money that we give up for the fun.
Some people will try to play longer even if they lose some money because they want to recover their losses. We can afford to lose the money but if we still continue losses in gambling games, that will not be good for us because that can make us lose more money. Nothing we can get if that is the scenario because all of our money is gone without recovering it. So maybe we really need to manage our money and not use too big money just to play gambling.

Yes, money management is the key to fun in gambling. This is why as I said we should only gamble with what we can afford to lose.
In order to not lose more money while gambling frequently the best strategy is to deposit only that amount which you can afford to lose.
So even if you continuously gamble when you lose, you will still be losing only that specific amount and won't be able to gamble anymore.
Having a specific budget for gambling will limit our losses and our ability to gamble frequently.
If we are often playing gambling and depositing too many times, I am afraid that can cost us a high fee in the transaction, no matter what coin we use to gamble. Let say we afford to lose $5-$10 in a one-time deposit, but after you lose $5, you deposit again for $5. If you do that many times in a day, your fee will increase, although you can use the money you can afford to lose.

I prefer to have a specific budget for a week or month and have a limit on how much money we will use for gambling in one day and never try to break the limit.

Ofcourse the fees will take a major chunk of the gambling amount if you deposit multiple times a day.
If you want to play multiple times a say you would rather deposit all in one go.
If you have a budget for gambling that you can afford to lose you would rather use that budget for gambling in frequent intervals and not everyday.
Suppose I have $100 for a month which I can use for gambling then I would rather deposit $25 a week and gamble with it.
I would then wait for the next week and repeat the process. This process will enable us to have a control on our gambling limits as well as keep us within the gambling budget.
2860  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Compare Layer 1s blockchains, which is better? on: November 15, 2021, 03:58:37 PM
Solana is my personal favourite from the list. The only 1st layer blockchain which takes less than a second to get a confirmed transaction.
Along with the high TPS it has the lowest fees. Some would argue that it is not completely decentralized which is true but it is still very early.
In fact it is still more decentralized than other comparative blockchains. Everyone has a perspective and Solana is the best in mine.
