..... best guess is still that involved targets are being offered their 'get out of (social media) jail' option by getting pinned with having gotten a massage from a 17-year-old of the opposite sex.  That's a crime from which most people can recover.....

Is getting a massage from a 17 year old a crime?

It would be an offense in states where massage was licensed, for the person giving it, assuming they were unlicensed.

I'm not buying the implication that a massage = a sexual activity or act or pedo.

Likely there would have to be some associated action or activity that crossed the line into illegal.

Trump decided to fire tweets to let UK know that their free food hospitality has failed, and he’ll now stop talking to thier Ambassador who’s currently being blamed for the leaks (he’s not been found guilty yet). These leaks contain lots of criticism towards Trump, and has put UK in a very tight spot and to make it worse their Prime Minister May is supporting her Ambassador. UK needs USA help more due to Brexit looming, and I hope their new Prime Minister finds a way to defuse the tensions with Trump.

In WW2 we fought the Japs Germany Italians.  We were allies with Russia China. We beat down Germany and Japan,Italy. We Ended the war on both fronts.

Now our adversaries are China and Russia. And we are friends with Germany and Italy.

How soon these fucks forget...without U.S. they would be speaking German or Japanese by now.

Fuck the Chinese and Russian inconsiderate Bastards.

P.S. This is not towards the people of Russia or China ...Just the Governments.

That's not accurate. We remained enemies with Russia over the long time frame, allying with them for convenience in WW1 and WW2.

ffs

You seem focused on a small group of those likely to be implicated. I used the word powerful for good reason. The purpose of these large scale trafficking rings is primarily the creation of blackmail material on powerful people in all sectors in order to maintain compliance. This is much bigger than low level thugs like the Clintons. This is something that reaches to the highest levels of organizations globally and people are just barely beginning to realize it.

It's interesting at least to me, that nobody has ever explained where Epstein got his billions. You hear vague phrases like "Oh, he was a hedge fund manager <<blah blah blah>>

I mean this not cool ! you buy a piece of land and it can be taken from you because you can't keep up with inflation... because you have a frugal life sustain by minimal income... it's very unjust... what do you think of the prorpiety tax ?

Do you own the land or not? or is it just a lease? at least be clear from the title...

that's the nuke in the real estate market...

Property taxes are collected by the county, and pay for various expenses such as hospitals and school districts. These are state expenses.

States that do not have property taxes have income taxes.

Income taxes are far worse.
2851  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Government shouldn't outlaw Private Insurance and Democrats know that on: July 07, 2019, 08:54:28 PM
The current Medicare system has part C, which allows for a participant to have a private insurance company take over their Medicare benefits, (a Medicare advantage plan.) Furthermore, a participant can opt out of part B. ( A participant should have other insurance if they opt for this.) Furthermore, Medicare claims are usually handled by government contractors. (These are private companies.) However, what many of the Democratic candidates are actually pushing resembles this very little. In fact, it appears what they are offering is closer to VA health benefits for all. This program is totally run by the government and like most government run programs is totally inefficient. I'd be all for a "Medicare for all" program if what they offer is actually closer to what Medicare currently offers. However, I am feeling like many democratic candidates are actually pushing for something that I think would be disaster and labeling it "Medicare for all," since Medicare is a popular program, and they are trying to bamboozle their voters.

This is a focus on the results, not the initiative.

What they want is to take another 10-25% of peoples' income in taxes.

Then there are the promises.

Then there is what is actually delivered.

Just look at the "takings." They want to take your money. Then say "No."

Spotty logic. You have doubts because technology 50 years ago was lesser than technology now. You have to ask yourself why wouldn't the Apollo computer be capable of doing what it did. You're basically ignorant on the matter.
The Apollo flight computer was demonstrably capable. Anyone can verify this by using one of the simulators.

This was quite literally the first personal computer, predating dos, Linus, anything like windows or OS X.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apollo_Guidance_Computer

Your ability to type these messages online is the result of Apollo.

What you are really trying to say is, NASA mooned us all, right?

 Grin
Actually, no. Like any government agency, NASA can do little or nothing by itself. The work and the creativity, with rare exceptions, is the result of contractors who seldom get credit.

Over a half million Americans worked in getting the Apollo program to succeed. They remain largely nameless, and the government and its agency takes credit.

At least, that's true when taking a superficial look.

Well yes, without a doubt. Kinda forgot that this wasn't on the US mainland and that prosecutors probably wouldn't be so happy to go after a guy like this.

But in a perfect world, where the prosecution is blindfolded when picking cases (instead of thinking about the chance of winning and their careers) -- this would be something that they would go after people for statutory rape. You're without a doubt right on the blackmail portion of it though, but this wouldn't be true for the people that he isn't blackmailing.

I don't buy that, here is why.

There is no act to blackmailing, except the threat. The fact that some others went there and were blackmailed is the threat.

Anyone who looks at this and doesn't see the core evil is the trafficker is nuts.

Sure, there are some people who would eliminate prostitution, and use this to incite fear factors. "Look what could happen to you!!!"

This is the problem with "statutory" definitions of crime, they can be gamed and exploited.

You likely need to start by figuring out what exactly you did so wrong with Hitlery, and then not make those mistakes again.

So if the DNC puts Biden in its like an inside suicide job.
No, there was a lot of evil in Hillary, and her bunch. Did people see it? Yes, helped by email dumps by Julian Assauge, which he said then and to this day that his source wasn't Russian.

I think more importantly there was a lot of manifest, right out in the open incompetence in Hillary, that was inexcusable and which couldn't be shrugged or laughed off.

And there certainly wasn't any incompetence shown by Trump.

But keep in mind your "progressive radical left mind set," when you make comments like Biden would be an inside suicide job. One of your wacko nut-jobs from the left coast isn't going to bring the coal miners into your group, or the farmers, or the union workers. Those old style traditional democrats.

Well maybe not. It's too early to tell but a star may rise like Donald Trump, opposite in every way.
But for sure if they nominatee Biden, Trump will win. But hope I'm wrong. Old style politics is not going to work.

The only thing that will defeat Trump is if somebody comes along who fires everybody up, and gets a psychological foothold on people. That's why I say Gabbard, 1st Harris, 2nd, and (maybe Williamson...I can dream)

Edit.. No incompetence in Trump? Now you are trying to make me laugh..

And with Hilary, there was such huge big money smear campaign against her on Facebook which was created by the Russian company. This was proven. But still she won the popular vote!

I'll bite. How huge? How much big money?

Right, no incompetence. Seriously. Try to get through the political blinders and look at what constitutes blunders. Bengazi, Fast and Furious, the Email scandal. Leaving the ethics aside, those are incompetent blunders.

The only thing that will defeat Trump is if somebody comes along who fires everybody up, and gets a psychological foothold on people. That's why I say Gabbard, 1st Harris, 2nd, and (maybe Williamson...I can dream)

This is true, but again, get past your personal prejudices and listen to an outside opinion. My take is these women are B-O-R-I-N-G. Obama had a certain charisma, and a very good, resonating speaking voice. Some thought Beto could do it, but, nope. His fakeness is obvious. But they sure tried to push him.

To beat Trump, you'd need a nobody, with no discoverable past. Maybe hide it like Obama did. He/She would need to be pretty/handsome. Attractive and someone people would like. Hollywoody. Then you'd need to train this schmuck what to say and how to act and when to grin and look sad. Ideally, this vacuous nobody would be trained to say things that could mean anything, so various low IQ politics consumers would know he/she was saying and thinking exactly what their ideal candidate would say/think/be.

Have fun.  After you are finished creating and advocating this FrankNSteiness, deal with the fact that Trump's winning was in large part a REACTION to this nonsense.
2856  Other / Politics & Society / Re: (Lack of) Privacy on: July 07, 2019, 05:15:17 PM
Hi everyone. I've been complaining a lot on here recently about surveillance capitalism, and about Facebook's foray into crypto. I thought it might be worth a quick post for those of you who are outside the EU, and so maybe aren't aware of just how much data all of these websites gather on us, and how much they share it (sell it).

In the EU we are afforded the limited (but welcome) protection of General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR - https://eugdpr.org The aim in theory is to give consumers some measure of control of the data that is held about them, and how that data is used. In practice a lot of companies are sidestepping the 'active consent' element with pre-ticked opt out boxes, or forcing users to either a) one-click to accept data gathering or b) enter a labyrinth of permissions and un-tick every single one, and then visit the website of each named affiliate and repeat the process there, ad infinitum. But at least it is more visible now.

Anyway, if you are outside the EU you may not get even this level of transparency, so I've pasted an example below in case it is of any use. Apologies if everyone is already aware of all this!
I picked a random UK newspaper website "The Sun"...

1) When you enter the site you can either one-click to accept everything, or else edit permissions. There is often no one-tick option to reject everything.

2) Choosing to edit permissions takes you to a page with menu options for other sub-pages, in this case 'strictly necessary' cookies, measurement, content, ads, information storage, personalisation. There is also a wall of text that gives a vague overview to put you at ease... data is "mostly" used to make the site work, information does not "usually" identify you, etc.

3) Choosing to 'view vendor consent' brings up the page below. This is the list of companies with which the website shares your data. Note the scrollbar, this first page only lists up to 'Ab'... there are many many more.

What you are seeing is an example of how law and regulation enables the very activities the public thinks law and regulation works against.
2857  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Jeffrey Epstein finally arrested on Sex-Trafficking Charges on: July 07, 2019, 05:10:35 PM
Finally, Jeffrey Epstein may be brought to justice for sex trafficking of minors.....

police alleged that Epstein installed concealed cameras in numerous places on his property to record sexual activity with underage girls with other prominent people, which he had been using to blackmail other celebrities and big whigs. ....

That's pretty disgusting, I have only one question.

From time to time we see a media blurb about "XYZ went with Epstein on his Lolita Express..."

Is it probable that the guilty one here is Epstein, not those who went with him? That Epstein knew the girls were underage, but the "customers" did not?

In most states, the crime of having any sort of sexual contact with an underage girl is a statutory crime. Which pretty much means that if you violate it, you're going to have to face the consequences -- and you wouldn't be able to use the defense of -- " I didn't know" or "She looked 18 though" or even "She lied to me about her age"

So both would be guilty in this case.

Not sure in part about that. Here's why.

Epstein was taking girls to the island. --> "Trafficking." That's a US crime in the states he got the girls in.

People go to the island and have sex. --> "statuary rape" on the island in question "Little St. James Island", for which the age of consent is 18.

Prosecution would have to be there, not on the US mainland. If I ever heard of a case a prosecutor should decline to prosecute, statutory rape entrapment for purposes of blackmail qualifies. On the US mainland, this is affected by the politics of each state and who those running each state wants to destroy.

Here it's not the US mainland.

But who knows.

.... I think it likely that the _minimum_ level of degeneracy qualifying candidates for big-league political office in 'Western Democracies' (which all happen to have Rothschild Central Banks so I hear) is that they will engage in non-lethal sex with pre-pubescents on camera. ....
Of all of your mad conspiracy rants, that one I actually like...

After which I assume the Candidates get some sort of card indicating "Qualifications Complete."

So the party is split into at least two pieces, and it's fun to watch the new socialist communist wannabes trying to shoehorn their latest walking talking woke creature of the moment into the key spot.

You likely need to start by figuring out what exactly you did so wrong with Hitlery, and then not make those mistakes again.
I agree. I'm from Michigan, born an raised, haven't lived there in many years but I go back and visit a lot. I was there the summer of 2016, and I called it. Trump would win, by what I saw. A lot of hate and/or indifference for Hilary even among Democrats.  And even some dems didn't see the point in voting since they were sure she was going to win.

It was sad... There were a lot of discussions about which was the worst of the 2 evils. I personally don't think there was anything evil about Hilary, but a lot of folks did....for some reason. Hmm.... could it be all the Russian propaganda?

Also don't forget she won the popular vote by a wide margin.
In any case, I agree that workers/labor should have been targeted and were ignored by and large. Michael Moores movie covered that subject pretty well. Obama making light of the Flint Lead water poisoning. A lot of people were depending on him.
So if the DNC puts Biden in its like an inside suicide job.
