2841  Economy / Economics / Re: How do feels losing money? on: April 14, 2023, 09:30:26 PM

I have not gotten myself this days. Do you feel down when such sudden hits happens to you?

Nobody feels good when they lose money especially when the amount involve is huge. It is normal that you feel bad and if you happen to be scammed, it is more difficult to get over. In your case, it appears you invested in a ponzi . Always be suspicious when the business you plan to invest in is promising mouth watering benefit than usual. There are different of such kind of business that people are expressing regret. Also when you are investing in cryptocurrency, don't focus on cheap price but go for coins that have been successful over the years like bitcoin.
2842  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Federal government and banks are threats... on: April 14, 2023, 05:26:58 PM
But i real deals here is the government are afraid of citizens having independent living source.

It is not about government not wanting citizens having independent source of living but they want a means that they can monitor all financial services in the country. Apart from the allegation of money laundry from the onset of bitcoin creation, the government tries hard to limit the use of bitcoin but this is not all countries. Understanding your post, it looks like what happened in Nigeria. For example in Nigeria, the government had to block access to some account linked to the bank because they were means that the youth were funded to hold government to her knees during the #Endsars protest. After that protest the government came up with that ban which has really been criticized but the government has been adamant on that, refusing to allow citizen freely trade on bitcoin.
2843  Economy / Gambling / Re: NEW Flush.com Crypto Casino - ♠️ $BTC ♦️ $ETH ♣️ $DOGE ♥️ $LTC on: April 14, 2023, 02:16:02 PM

I applaud the progress that will be made by the DEV team at Flush.com because it indirectly proves that Flush is always able to provide the best for its customers.
It looks like Flush will grow and advance in this gambling industry.

The casino is fast becoming a reputable one with the reviews I have seen so far. I think the new DEV team is doing great job and increasing the awareness not only on the forum but on the internet despite being relatively new in the industry, with games spanning more than 2,000 already. I like the front design and the fact it also helps customers who don't have any crypto (bitcoin, dogecoin, Litecoin or Ethereum) in conversion of fiat currency to play.
2844  Economy / Gambling / Re: My list of good crypto casinos on: April 14, 2023, 09:34:47 AM

Gambling, oh boy! The excitement, the adrenaline surge, and the... crushing debt? Hold up, that's off-kilter. As the philosopher said, "know thyself," and that's spot on for gambling. If you're a whirlwind of emotions and prone to go all in, gambling might be a no-go. But fear not, compadres! There's a treasure trove of alternatives to satisfy your hunger for thrills without gambling your dough.

In gambling we can only control our emotions when we are not losing yet or if it happens that we are winning our games against the house edge. This is so for majority of the players because money is at the center of it all. Money is the reason for adrenaline push in gambling otherwise gambling will not be in existence even weigh back from the bible days. And what makes it worse is that the level of money involved is contributory to our emotions. If you are betting your last without hope for where next to get a living then the emotional challenge will be so uncontrollable. Even as we preach betting what you can afford to forfeit, it is difficult to stay in that line especially addicts
2845  Economy / Economics / Re: Invest your money wisely - another lesson, Techie tries to suicide. on: April 13, 2023, 02:57:06 PM

The investment was not his alone but he collected the money from various sources. He took loans and also was using the pension from his mother. Definitely, he had no plans and no idea what he was doing.

This is another lesson to learn in cryptocurrency investment. I can imagine what he was thinking after losing out in the investment. Reading the story reminded me of Sam Bankman-Fried who through him many investors lost hodlings in ftx but he never tried to take his life  Grin Well on a more serious note we need to learn not to be greedy, investing as we have the capacity won't lead into suicide mission.
2846  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you lose on slots? on: April 13, 2023, 01:22:26 PM

2. if a slot machine does not hit in 7-10 spins, consider trying a different machine. this can help you avoid getting stuck on a losing streak and losing more money.
3. if you have been playing a slot machine for 50 spins and have not gotten any free spins or big wins, consider switching to a different machine.
this can help you avoid wasting money on a machine that is unlikely to pay out.

I believe all these about changing machine when you are losing in slot game is just to significantly say take a break and come back next time. Slot games like gambling are based on luck so when you are losing don't take it out on the machine but know it that it is not a lucky day. You may lose $200 in a slot game consistently for 5 days and the 6th day you may be lucky to win $3,000 that is just the game. It is not about the machine except if you see something manipulated in the machine.

You can also change the type of slot game you are playing to try your luck, instead of traditional slot game, you can try the microgaming like mega moolah etc
2847  Economy / Gambling / Re: justbit.io asking me for KYC although their site explicitly states no KYC on: April 13, 2023, 10:39:19 AM
-snip-
They just do not want to pay, is that simple

I wouldn't conclude that too early, the casino wouldn't know a typical crypto player whether they are anti-KYC or not.
With reference to fully crypto oriented centralized casinos, I think as long as they have restrictions and comply with regulations will implement KYC eventually.

But why stating "no KYC for crypto"? And why you gyys tend to justify sportsbooks when they are being unfair?! It's a known fact that most of the sites love to scam you. I do not get these kind of things, really...

At the moment, responses are being fair to both you and the casino based on the reserved right to request

valid identification of a user under the KYC procedure for some cases.
in the ToS. If it was not stated explicitly there on the ToS then manipulation could be going on the minds of people.

Centralized casinos have a way of trying to beat customers to their game. Unfortunately, I think legally such clause of reserved right may over ride

2848  Economy / Gambling / Re: TRUSTDICE: up to $25 FREE BONUS [NO DEPOSIT REQUIRED] Forum EXCLUSIVE! on: April 12, 2023, 10:25:26 PM
Although the x5 wagering requirements is low compared to the normal casino bonus wagering requirements that usually around x30 and above.

Really you saying that, sure? Which casino has such restriction to wager 30x before making request for withdrawal? Or I am missing to understand you? what you are saying is looking very different from what I know about it.

User has a high chance to deposit immediately without reading the terms because the no wagering requirements on the bonus will make them excited to deposit without expecting a catch on the wagering requirements for deposit.

Are you encouraging users not to read ToS with this statement?
2849  Economy / Gambling / Re: TRUSTDICE: up to $25 FREE BONUS [NO DEPOSIT REQUIRED] Forum EXCLUSIVE! on: April 12, 2023, 03:18:26 PM

This forum exclusive bonus is non-wagering in the sense that, in order to receive the bonus, a newly registered forum member doesn't need to
- wager anything before receiving the bonus
- wager all of the Day 1 bonus before receiving bonus of the next day

The bonus is still subject to our site-wide T&C, which I have mentioned previously.

TrustDice Team

With this I understand that the $25 bonus for forum members is activated by registration. Is there any other criteria that will deny a user off the bonus after registration going with T&C as you have mentioned ?

I think you have to clear the withdrawal aspect on the op especially 5x wagering before withdrawal of such or winning as the case maybe.
2850  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits limiting winners on minor leagues on: April 12, 2023, 01:49:06 PM
Apart from limiting your account, casinos and indeed game houses have a way of protecting their business from loses. Just as you are playing they also investigate the activities. In your own case maybe there could be surreptitious activities they found out in the leagues you bet on. Sometimes when manipulation is discovered, the game maybe be totally removed or disabled so that you don't have access to bet on it and at times the odds are reduced to discourage players. Usually things don't go straight forward as you think it should be, there are protection giving to businesses but what is important is being paid out in full to what winning you had, worry about that and don't worry about a bet you have not taken because it is better to limit you than avoiding to pay you after you win  Grin
2851  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wagering requirements for withdraw on: April 12, 2023, 12:43:48 PM

What truly concerns me is the 5X wagering requirement on normal deposits without any bonus in order to withdraw the initial deposit or winnings.

I don't know if Op has scrutinized to confirm this and I think responses here have ignored this line and this is serious more like an indictment already. If a casino is trying to put a check on money laundering activities, then placing a 5x wager on the initial deposit (which is regarded as your personal money) before you can withdraw same deposit, is such a distrust already. We know casinos are made in a way that percentage of winning against it is lower and percentage of losing is higher , so having a 5x wager is weigh too much even for a money laundering speculation.

The ineptitude of op not reading ToS has exposed certain conditions not known already to players. Playing in a casino that has such stringent conditions before withdrawal is a meal for second thought.
2852  Economy / Economics / Re: Essentials to starting A business on: April 11, 2023, 04:45:55 PM

These are just a few of the key things you should have in place before starting a business. By taking the time to plan and prepare, you can increase your chances of success and build a strong foundation for your new venture.

You have listed some good points to start a business and following such list can be helpful. However, there is a few worthy to mention like raw materials for the business. Raw materials are important to open a business and access to it is more important. So depending on the kind of business being established, you need to open it where you can easily access your raw material. For example a mining company that deals in crude oil will need a manufacturing office close to crude deposit for easy access to it. Likewise gold mining company etc. There is a relationship between raw material and cost of transportation and that is why raw material is considered as a factor of production in economics.
2853  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are lotteries really a good way to engage with gamblers? on: April 11, 2023, 03:37:56 PM

First they were some bonus offerings, now we are also giving away "physical prizes" - a luxurious vacation or even a Lamborghini crossover.

These kind of promises, bonuses and freebies have been fascinating to attract lottery players, so if you ask me I would say this is synonymous with lottery companies because it has been the magic for the business. While I was younger, I always heard of these kind of gift promises but whether the promises were met, is another kettle of fish. This is a winning magic for lottery businesses, so I advise if you keep to such promises and redeem it to at least few people that are not family relations, friends or cronies then at the next phase you can be sure to get huge traffic on your ticket.

-If so, are there any changes you would offer to make lotteries more exciting?

To add to what can be done to attract more lottery players, you can give random tickets free to interested players who can't afford just like freebitco.

In real life, I have also withnessed some lottery companies having a whole lot of conditions on the winning prices but never disclosed them or revealed them to interested players or public. They hid such conditions from people but only to reveal such when a winner emerges making the winner not to have a choice than to accept those conditions. For example like cars won may not be driven on a particular day, time etc, will be driven with the company's logo and design all through to a certain year, meaning the winner don't have to repaint the car. So I hope you have lesser conditions for your Lambo  Grin

Another suggestion is to provide consolidation to runner up or close "lossers"

Lottery is a good way to engage gamblers as they are about taking a chance and if it happens to be more realistic in redeeming of promises, the higher the number of players taking out there luck.

2855  Economy / Gambling / Re: Metaspins.com - Crypto casino - 100% Up To 1 Bitcoin On Your First Deposit on: April 10, 2023, 06:38:18 PM

It is possible that we may require KYC at some point, so it's best to find out for your certain situation if we may require it or not.

KYC is an important consideration for players and so giving a conditional response with "may" may not be appreciated as direct response as it varies. So it will be nicer to guide players on that or if there are conditions that will warrant the request for KYC. For example if there is a particular range of winning that will require request for KYC or not, this will be fine instead of playing without the fore knowledge and later requiring KYC update. This I think can be properly cleared as a representative without a customer necessarily having a particular experience with playing.
2856  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blockchain Casinos - Consumer's Choice 2023! on: April 10, 2023, 04:24:54 PM
Op you have not made strong competition for stake as you can see everyone who has got to make a choice have done that, making a giveaway for stakes. Some of the names are not known while stake have been here along time and have had big players like drake. It is not a very robust list for bettors to choose from, there are reputable names in the forum apart from those mentioned example there is FortuneJack, flush.. Are there criteria you used to make your selection? And there financial value attached to the award?

2858  Economy / Gambling / Re: Enough to consider a casino scam? on: April 09, 2023, 08:27:06 PM
By all means, if you passed the verification process and your kyc is successful I don't think the casino has any more right to withhold your withdrawal, where there will be a problem in a situation where some of your KYC steps are unsuccessful there could nail you with that but since you said you managed to pass all the KYC process and they refused you access to the $8,000 withdrawal.
And of a truth, if I were in your shoes I will also call the casino a scam since they are deliberately withholding my withdrawal unnecessarily.

Reading the context of the OP, I’m sure that his problem was casino keeps rejecting his KYC submission despite he submits all the requirements for unknown reason. Simply the casino won’t accept his requirements as valid for him to withdraw his account. This comes his accusation against the casino for not accepting his KYC verification which is still questionable because there’s no further details on what kind of document he is submitting and whether coincides to the casino basic requirements for the KYC.

And you now manage to process with the verification and they failed to pass you?

The op verification of his KYC maybe not have been completed or the casino is yet to verify it and this may be as a result of so many reasons including blur picture and document among others. Also there could be other tiny details that are being looked out for. I have been in such situation of blurred document etc and until you provide a clearer information, the KYC maybe not be approved. However reading ToS and playing in a reputable casino safe us the stress of withdrawal when you win
2859  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rigged Game on: April 09, 2023, 06:11:19 PM
I have not heard of such as rigged game in casino but that doesn't mean the possibilities are not there especially in casinos that have not been confirmed to be reputable and also where the gambler has made substantial winning against them.

On a broader note, casino is gambling business, based on luck like gambling itself and owned by an individual or group of individuals with the aim to make profit like any other business establishment. So don't expect to have a winning edge over casinos because they are programmed to have a reasonable winning advantage over the customer, so that whatever you do to win the chances for that is mathematically reduced against the customer. So it may not be rigged but chances of winning is very much limited. This link on how to know if casino games are rigged or not will be useful to this thread

2860  Economy / Economics / Re: Recession Highly Likely on: April 09, 2023, 01:55:38 PM
The recession is not impossible to come down on some countries with the way things have turned out. One major factor that can make this recession hit different continent (if it has not already) the increase in inflation and high unemployment rate. These two factors have relationship with finance either incoming finance or out going finance. When there is no source of income, that is an indication that there is recession either on a family level or country.

To prepare for recession properly, my suggestion is to increase the level of manufacturing by the government and this will support the unemployed and the proceed goes back to the society which will add to the reserve.
