Your story is not really clear, how can we consider a site is scam or not if you do not give more details about the issue? The answers you may get from the community high likely will be just a guess or prediction or assumption. It would be better if you can provide a complete story for this case so we can get a better opinion or maybe suggestion on what should you do.

depend on their reason and how long you are going to wait , because if they are asking for at least a week or two for complete verification and checking about the system finding you some questions in your playing then best to let them do such , but if this took months or they even banned or blocked your account then they are truly a scammer and we have seen those things before.
Yes, that's right, my friend actually determines whether the casino is a scam or not. From that problem, he just has to wait by completing what the casino asks for, such as KYC, after all, KYC verification doesn't take long and the casino can process it within 24 hours.
As I said earlier, if the casino doesn't give the gambler the right after completing the requirements, then the new casino can be declared a scam casino.
But the casino should just give away the winnings and let the gambler withdraw them because $8000 is not a big amount for the casino and don't let $8000 just cause them to lose their trust and reputation.

exactly what I see here , or maybe OP is not completely believing that the site is scam so he is asking the community if they have views about this kind of casino site steps.
he does not even drop how long this case running and what is the complete answer of the casino towards his case.
but maybe He will update the thread in the coming days once he is convinced that there is scamming happening inside this problem.

First of all, you should do your own troubleshooting, like checking why you haven't passed the KYC—is it because of the blurred ID or your selfie? Wrong information and so on, contact support to find out why you failed so you can try again. Also, before considering them a scam, make sure you haven't broken a TOS, because that is likely your proof when you accuse them. Mostly, this is the move of a casino that is a scam; they will ban your account or not pass your KYC. If you ever support them and still are getting failed in KYC, it is time to raise scam accusations on them.

I also always try to make KYC before I put 1 cent in a site.

Also after passing I contact the support to confirm with them they don't need anything else, and I mean anything!

When they confirm it I make a screenshot of it just to be safe, I mean you never know what's happening next.

About the bonus, If it's advertised and you don't break any rules then you should get the bonus no matter what. It's an offer which they have to oblige. Of course they always put something in their TOS sounding like " we can refuse ... at any time" but if that happens you know this site is not worth spending 1 more $ or minute on. If they do false advertising to get new customers who knows what else they are willig to do.

I played at a lot of sites in the past and at some I had some problems due to getting limited or falsely accused of multi accounting. All the problems got solved and I always got paid, but of course the limits always stayed and I had to move on.

Hi friends, I have some questions for you guys about online casinos

What will you do if you don't know that a online casino will ask you for KYC after winning over 8,000$ on the platform? And you now manage to process with the verification and they failed to pass you? Can you consider such a casino a scam?

Also, imagine you get attracted to an online casino because of the bonuses they offer and you open an account and make your first deposit then you didn't receive the promised bonus, is this an act of scam or not?

I am trying to solve such an issue for someone very close to me and that the complaint he gave, I have no answer than maybe the bonus was canceled already before he made the deposit or there was a minimum deposit requirement.

Any other reasons?
If I have to answer it honestly, I would quickly say that they are clearly scamming you. But I believe everything that a casino will perform has got to do with its ToS, and if you fail to read and understand it, you will immediately suspect them as scammers. Besides, it’s certain that with those huge wins made by players, the casino will eventually require them to pass for KYC so that the funds will be refunded. However, in the case that your KYC has failed and was not approved, probably there was a mistake with the documents you pass to them. So you better find it then by contacting the management or the customer service in charge.

At least you're looking to be safe sometimes people also can't accuse the casino of cheating and you also don't want to be accused of cheating so it's better to give KYC at the beginning so there's no reason for the casino to mark your account as a multi user and it's annoying for everyone sometimes the casino often make it difficult for users by asking for complicated KYC when we win big because there are many cases like that in this forum.

The site might flagged your account as an abused, and if they failed you for KYC better to ask the site for their reason on declining your KYC when in fact you submitted everything. Maybe there's another problem with your account and not just with KYC, maybe you use VPN or anything that is against the rules of the site, better to communicate with them. If they refuse to help your and solve this problem, then that is the time you can consider that site as a scam. Anyway, may we know what site is this?

If the casino's Terms of Service mentioned that they might ask for KYC any moment, then it's not a scam, it's just a standard security measure they are taking, and always expect to pass a KYC check before making huge withdrawals.
~snip~

There are few people who read TOS, because it is a lot of text mostly written in small letters and probably mostly incomprehensible to most. Of course, online casinos protect themselves by asking for the user's information in case they withdraw funds from the account, but I think they would do themselves a great favor if they asked for it before depositing or even during registration.

Of course, no one wants to start such a practice, because KYC would probably reject most potential players at the beginning, but I would personally welcome such a way of doing business. Online casinos would at least protect themselves from being called a scam because they ask for KYC only when withdrawing and not when depositing.

You have mentioned several reasons which are important for gamblers to know in details. A mistake we often make that is not trying to read the terms and conditions of a casino before joining. So at one point when we prepare to withdraw our money we see various restrictions. On this issue, even if a casino is good, it can behave like this, and those who have scam schemes will be scamming. I think the fault in this case implies with the gambler who has come so far without knowing it. But generally good casinos do not cheat their customers. If the gambler can provide his information correctly then they will definitely have the opportunity to withdraw money.

I am trying to solve such an issue for someone very close to me and that the complaint he gave, I have no answer than maybe the bonus was canceled already before he made the deposit or there was a minimum deposit requirement.

In your first question, if you have 8000$ in a gambling platform that you got by winning in a casino and you did what they asked and despite that they still didn't allow you to take it out. It just means that they don't have enough funds to release the amount you have in your balance on their platform. And secondly, no one is putting much money into their gambling casino in short, there are no gamblers playing using their platform, that's just the simple thing to understand.
When it comes to the bonuses that a casino has, there are conditions that you must meet because even if you have made a deposit on their platform, if the amount you entered is not enough that should fit their conditions, you will not get any bonuses there.

It is normal for a online casino to deny user of their KYC verification if the document they provide is out of date or expired, or if the camera you used to take the picture of the documents needed is not bright enough, I have faced such before and I end up using someone else smartphone, my smartphone camera is very blurry. If you can follow the exact requirement from the casino you won't have any issues and this doesn't mean that the online casino is trying to pull a scamming stunt on the user.

Gamblers who are trying hard to avoid KYC verification should always scroll down on the casino website, the KYC Policy is always at the end of the website, many don't notice this until they are suddenly asked for verification.

Your story is not really clear, how can we consider a site is scam or not if you do not give more details about the issue? The answers you may get from the community high likely will be just a guess or prediction or assumption. It would be better if you can provide a complete story for this case so we can get a better opinion or maybe suggestion on what should you do.

This same kind of mistake other newbies or even experienced gamblers did, they give a complaints on what they themselves were the cause to that, some don't even give you the right information in other for you to be able to identify their challenges, if they now contact the casino support line, how will their issue get resolved even when we ourselves can't identity the major problem, though I understand bit everyone knows how to express themselves to an extent but in issues like this, we need more clarity with evidence if possible for proper administration.

When a gambling platform does not allow you to withdraw but requires you to meet the requirements so that you can withdraw what you have won by playing on their platform, this is just showing that the casino you played at has no reserve fund.

It is also possible that your withdrawal is delayed because they are still waiting for gamblers who will play on their platform to deposit until they reach the amount you want to withdraw. But if what really happened is that the house edge lost, that means they don't really want to release it and will immediately change your account here. But that's not the scenario you're talking about, right?

When it comes to the bonus, what I know is that there are task conditions that you must get or do or else you won't get a bonus in the end.

If I bet at the casino and get a big win after that the casino asks me to KYC, I will do that.
When the casino verifies my data and fails, I will ask the casino what the reason is and if the reason makes sense with all the details, I will understand and not accuse the casino of defrauding me.
When I was attracted to a certain casino to get a bonus then I deposited some money into that casino site and have reached the requirements to get the bonus but it was not given to me, I would say the casino cheated me.
Since it was clear that I had qualified for the bonus but the bonus was not awarded to me it was clear that the casino was a fraud.
Deposit bonuses usually do have minimum requirements to be able to get the bonus.
But my advice is if the problem happens to your friend, it's better to solve it immediately through the customer support team and ask for details of all the reasons.
If your friend hasn't broken anything but your friend seems to have been kicked out of the casino, something is wrong with that casino.

Make sure your friend take a picture with a good resolution, make sure it's not blur and clear enough, you can ask him to edit to increase the sharpness and contrast too. You can ask him to send the picture to you and if you think it's clear, but the casino is denying, ask your friend to contact askgambler or casinoguru as a intermediary. They will not be support the casino judgement if you friends have provide a solid evidence.

If you see the question from OP, it clearly says what will you do if you won 8000$ at a casino and now after winning the amount they ask for your KYC and they do not verify you purposely in order to deny the winning amount withdrawal. Well in this case, the gambler can't do much as the final decision of approving the KYC will remain with the gambling casino.

To deal with such a situation is to do the KYC as soon as you start playing at the casino and do not wait until you win such a big amount as OP did. I am sure if OP had not won that 8000$, his KYC would have been approved within no time.

I hope the OP provides detailed information on the casino's web address because I believe the OP's complaint is not related to top crypto casinos, every top crypto casino has no KYC problems and even every user can complete KYC easily after winning thousands of dollars from bets. Based on Op's explanation, there are indications of a bad plan from the casino to complicate the KYC process so that users cannot withdraw funds from the account and even if the user has completed KYC before but the casino will accuse other problems.

I hope the OP should contact the team immediately to check the KYC data that has been submitted and ask for an answer from the team about KYC being rejected more than 2 times.

By all means, if you passed the verification process and your kyc is successful I don't think the casino has any more right to withhold your withdrawal, where there will be a problem in a situation where some of your KYC steps are unsuccessful there could nail you with that but since you said you managed to pass all the KYC process and they refused you access to the $8,000 withdrawal.
And of a truth, if I were in your shoes I will also call the casino a scam since they are deliberately withholding my withdrawal unnecessarily.

Reading the context of the OP, I’m sure that his problem was casino keeps rejecting his KYC submission despite he submits all the requirements for unknown reason. Simply the casino won’t accept his requirements as valid for him to withdraw his account. This comes his accusation against the casino for not accepting his KYC verification which is still questionable because there’s no further details on what kind of document he is submitting and whether coincides to the casino basic requirements for the KYC.

And you now manage to process with the verification and they failed to pass you?
