See, I find it interesting is that you've received 49 merit points, out of 50, in one day in the span of 1 hour.

Also, merited you 10pts 2:32:54, then Just one minute later he gave you 10 more at 2:33:19, that's barely 30second interval and not to mention that it's on a completely different topic. So it looks like he's been looking specifically for you.

So the scenario would be that he, in those 30 seconds:

- read your topic
- merited it
- went back or opened your profile
- read another topic
- gave you merit

All that in 30sec. Yeah.

One more thing, in your merit history it says that you've merited him twice on the same post (10 merit). Why did you decide that the post made at 07:35:07 was worth 10 more merits just 12 minutes later ( 07:47:23 )?

Not sure what OP is smoking? What is it that he wants to prove? It just a shame IMO. These people are just taking disadvantage of the system for their own interest. I am interested to see other's reaction in it. I really hope some DT member come forward with the punishment all these three accounts deserves.

I will take a nap now. Let's see what happen after I wake up

The site has gone to shit, see https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3388754.0 to get my drift.

Merits and spamming the internet from here is all that's left and I will be exposing what is going on here with my
own little campaign and if you would like to know who to thank then thank nazi member achow101

When he has gone, i will stop.
Good luck mate. Not sure what is going on with you. I think you are taking things very personally like I said yesterday I guess. Just take the things easily.

There are 218,169 active accounts (users) in the forum. Most of them posting everyday. Among all these accounts you found rasputincoin and srmecdes post ONLY worthy to give and receive merits? You know what it means? It means merit exchanging. A provably probably1 all of these are your ALTs.

Another thing you done wrong - you sent me a redTurst to respond. Trust system has not created for taking revenge. Yes, you made me angry by giving the redTrust without any real reason (I did not do any untrustworthy stuff).

Give me a good reason now to TRUST YOU.

EDIT1:
rasputincoin: Full Member and srmecdes: Full Member should be investigated with krhnrhn: Sr. Member account. These are possible ALT accounts exchanging merits with each others (several times)

2863  Other / Meta / Re: My idea about BCT account registration on: April 25, 2018, 10:29:13 PM
I'm just a new member in this forum and as I can see it's very easy for everyone to create a new account and go around spam everything they want in here.

I think why don't we add some questions into registration form? For now, there are a lot of groups on Facebook are doing the same like this, if anyone want to join their group they need to answer some questions and admin of these groups will check these answer then they'll decide who can join the group. I feel like it's an interview.

I think we should create a list of question related to cryptocurrency and new member need to provide right answer for at least 2 or 3 questions if they want to create a new account in here.

I know Moderators and admin have a lot of work need to solve everyday but is it possible?

Are you talking about a school/college/university admission test? LOL

Mate this is a forum not an educational institute  Cheesy

Genuine people come here not to give answers about cryptocurrency, they come here to get answers and to have better understanding about cryptocurrency.

PS: Not talking about the bounty spammers.
2864  Other / Meta / Re: Banned for what? User: Sellingaccs on: April 25, 2018, 10:22:54 PM
I have gone through some of your post history. Did not find anything odd there. I wonder what could be the reason?
These are the ban procedures for spamming (again your posts looks ok).
Quote
First offence: 7 days
Second offence: 14 days
Third offence: 30 days
Fourth: Permanent ban

A ban could be for plagiarism as well. Do you think you have any possibility for that? I am really confused. Wish you good luck mate.
2865  Economy / Services / Re: [WTB] Wordpress News/Magazine Theme Design on: April 25, 2018, 03:33:20 PM
Hi guys, I want to have a wordpress news/magazine theme designed for me.
Willing to pay in BTC/ETH

Please PM me on Telegram for more information, include your Bitcointalk name.
I won't talk to people who did not post on this thread.

Thanks.

Telegram:
https://t.me/wenzani

Have you tried to buy a theme from themeforest yet? You should be getting any theme from there easily. I am a premium member of elegantthemes if you want I can have a look if they have any news/magazine theme. The advantage is you will have drag and drop facilities to design the website. Most of my static wordpress websites are using elegantthemes.

Let me know.
2866  Other / Meta / Re: I'm not a mod, I'm just a big mouth with an ignore list. on: April 25, 2018, 01:48:48 PM
In my opinion, images are fine provided they add something to the conversation. GIFs are pretty borderline - they take much longer to load via TOR or some VPNs, they are awkward to view on some mobile devices, and they generally get in the way of the conversation, especially when they add absolutely nothing like you did here.

Just a friendly word of warning - I (and several others) have certainly ignored people for excessive GIF use.

It's even worse when posters include the images in quotes. That really slow things down.

This is quite a new information for me. Never thought of getting slow and stuffs. To me GIFs are always fun nothing at all.

2868  Other / Meta / Re: Giving 50 merits was legit or ALT? Need your thoughts on: April 25, 2018, 12:59:57 PM
One thing we can do as rank and file members is to add these cheaters to our ignore lists. This means that we won't give them sMerits by accident. If I get chance, I'll make my ignore list public. I've already set up a ticketing system for appeals. Smiley

I do not have the luxury to make mistakes when sending sMerits. I have very limited number of sMerits to send. It's an advantage for me I guess.

Before sending sMerits I do a lot of research on the member. I have a sMerit sending waiting list. Whenever I see a post looks good to me I add it to my list. Then I do some research on the member (no rush when I get time), if I see the member is really doing good job for the forum then I award him/her my sMerits.

The perimeters I consider:
1. Plagarism free
2. Constructive and related to the topic
3. Not a merit seeking post
4. Previous post history
5. Previous merit history (mostly to avoid merit abusers)
etc

I said it before somewhere and saying it again, I wonder how you guys deal with sending sMerits. Sending sMerits seems a hard job to me. Sometimes I even forget that I need to send sMerits in some posts.

PS: It will be interesting to see your ignore list  Smiley
2869  Other / Meta / Re: I'm not a mod, I'm just a big mouth with an ignore list. on: April 25, 2018, 11:39:09 AM
Several members have sent me PMs to report various frauds and abuses of merit.  I'm not a mod, DT or staff member, just an ordinary Hero who talks about his ignore list. I have started a private chat room to talk to a few senior members, but it isn't really suitable for discussing individual cases. If you have discovered a suspected  abuse of the forum, then there are a number of effective actions you can take.

- Report a post to a moderator.
- Post a link and comments including proof in one of the scammer reporting threads here in Meta.
- Sending a PM to a DT may not be the best action, they are pretty busy, and may miss your message.
- Put the suspects on your ignore list so that you don't give them any sMerit.

I guess the reason is they always see you active (almost in most of the topics) on the forum. I remember long ago an advice you left for me on one of my post since then I closely followed you. Later I realised that I was one of the ignored member of you ignore list but still I was following you (It's obvious because of your presence).

It's just unbelievable for me. They took it into the next level. Really cleaver thing...  Shocked
I was not familiar about this kind of tricks, it took me a while to figure out what was going on.

I wish they use these skills for something good.  Wink Really waste of energy when using the skill for spamming.
2871  Other / Meta / Re: Giving 50 merits was legit or ALT? Need your thoughts on: April 25, 2018, 10:33:01 AM
Bump for adding two images for better reading and understanding also I believe 11 decisions (vote) are not much.
2872  Other / Meta / [Parody] Merit translation on: April 24, 2018, 11:44:52 PM
While we will not be directly moderating this, I encourage people to give merit to posts that are objectively high-quality, not just posts that you agree with.

Do not beg for merit excessively.

This was a very simple message when theymos explained about giving merits.

And these are the translations (I might bring you more in future) we are seeing through out the forum.

Why the negative feedback? Flodner is a friend of mine, am I not allowed to send him some merit? :/

He is a trusted friend he asked for some merit and I did.

Translation: Award merits who send your merits

Because meriting is not prohibited and everybody are free to distrubute theri1 merits to everyone without any reason etc.
Translation: Awarding merit need no reasons so keep awarding.

PS: It's a parody post. Merit abusers, please do not use it as a reference ground for your merit abusing activities.

Update:
New translation 1: Award merit to the bounty managers to show your appreciation/like of the project.

2873  Other / Meta / Re: Should BTT start to use kyc for fighting against multi-accounts shit posts? on: April 24, 2018, 10:47:57 PM
KYC would solve problems such as account farming. But as you may see from posts above - it wont be implemented, people on bitcointalk have right to stay anonymous.

I know you have to send some donation to open new account

Donation?(!) What are you smoking LOL

Is this really your account?
Maybe he is talking about evil IP - if you want to open account from IP which was previously banned, then you need to pay a small fee.

I know the fees about a ban IP but the statement he made, gave me a 2nd thought that by any chance is this his real account?
You can not avoid the possibility of buying this account from someone else. My be this current user is a new user on the forum. Otherwise how come someone with Sr. Member rank never noticed that it should be for IP ban not for creating a new account (!)
2874  Economy / Reputation / Re: mdayonliner's Red Trust removal T&C on: April 24, 2018, 10:29:24 PM
If I were a DT or staff or even high ranked member then I would never give you this second chance. I need to save my own ass.

But you are not a DT or staff member. So it really doesn't make any sense at all to do all this. Not others you have tagged nor you being tagged by them will get affected by exchanging negative feedback between each other as they don't really count. There are hundreds of people with a good reputation in the forum but carrying tons of negative feedbacks in their profile left by immoral users of our community, but that doesn't affect their reputation because even the dumbest person can know those feedbacks make no sense.
So, other than the fact of users accepting their mistakes, this thread has no sense to me. And also the users that are accepting their mistakes in here are tagged because they are guilty and anyone would know that just by checking their trust page.

I was a victim of a DT member today. Now it really counts when a DT member leave a RedTag for me. Anyway the upon exchanging few words with the DT and his satisfactory answer I removed my redTrust replacing a neutral trust and he removed the redTrust left for me.

My goal is to remind these merit abusers so that they do not do the mistakes 2nd time.
2875  Other / Meta / Re: Application for a merit source on: April 24, 2018, 09:59:46 PM
I have seen you around for long time and I have a believe that you have the ability to do the job. It's a responsibility for the community and I wish you do your job with success (if you become one).

I always believe, we need more merit source and more mods to make this forum better place.

Good luck mate.
2876  Other / Meta / Re: Should BTT start to use kyc for fighting against multi-accounts shit posts? on: April 24, 2018, 09:49:41 PM
Obvious that OP did not have time to look for this as the topic already were discussed.

While i am using this forum to learn something i have to read thousands of posts to understanding a meta.

and this is because of the signature campains or levelling their rank people writing posts for only cuz they have to ...

And this makes it impossible to reach to knowledge or wasting lots of time. I know you have to send some donation to open new account but people get much more than the donation so they can shitting lots of irrevelent posts. How can we get rid of them ? Can we block the user posts for filtering? Need sms activating for every acc? Using KYC system?

I feel furistrating now the unquality posts mountains on every topic... What all do you thing about these kind of newbies and multi accounts ?

( i am sorry for my bad english i am not a native speaker as you can understand Cheesy )

The idea here is to keep us anonymous, that is why theymos even disabled the email verification feature when we register and you are saying KYC verification (?) Looks like you had a long nap and just woke up  Smiley

And the forum has rule that you can create alt account but you have to Neutral trust it with you main account so that the community knows that it's your alt. Even theymos has an alt which is theymos_away (if i am not wrong).

I suggest you to spend some of your time reading the top six sticky on the Meta board although I can see you are Sr. Member  Shocked

Calm down mate. You are talking it too personally.

Can you see he even sent you some good evidence as well (ref: deleting your post). Put yourself in his (achow101) shoes. As a mod I do not think he has the scope even to concentrate in only one person's activity. You are nothing special to him.

Just accept that happened and move on giving the community. It's fun.  Smiley

2878  Other / Meta / Re: I am flabbergasted that it actually happens on this scale on: April 24, 2018, 07:43:35 PM
Most of the people that do these types of twitter and facebook bounties are also more often from third world countries, there's a lot of money in bounties and these guys they can make a years salary relatively to their country with a few successfull bounties. I'm quite suprised how much I get paid for translating, but I suppose its because ICOs don't really care about these tokens/coins, they just premine it and distribute it for cash. Why would they care if they give you a 100 or a 1000 of these tokens? Its worthless to them. I make exceptions, but I am generally carefull participating in ICOs that distribute bounties because I know they often pay out way more than they should/could and it makes it very dangerous participating, I've noticed that most of the bounty hunters from low-wage countries dump straight away on exchange launch.

Also its not just BTT that is going to shit, its also telegram groups. They're massively toxic these days compared to 6 months ago.
Imo, the whole crypto community is getting more toxic each day. I guess its less and less about the tech and more and more about the money, can't have a decent discussion anywhere.

I am not using telegram from more than one and half month. Unfortunately I have joined with a lot of groups (cryptocurrency related) these guys posts tons of messages. Information overloaded actually. I thought to remove them then again thought let it be like that since I am not using the telegram that much.
2879  Other / Meta / Re: Post the proof of your hacked account here on: April 24, 2018, 07:26:17 PM
This is a good idea. The mods can find all the list in one place. Recent account hacking posts also concerns me a lot. That's why I have created a topic day before yesterday, [Proposal: prevent account hack] A complete new login system for BitcoinTalk. IMO a new automated solution can help to prevent it.
2880  Other / Meta / Re: Suggestions to improve the forum and limit shitposting - the easy way on: April 24, 2018, 04:44:18 PM
Yeah, I don't think we should restrict them 100% from being able to create threads anywhere but I wouldn't be against some sort of Newbie Jail coming back where maybe they can only create a thread in Beginners and Help and Meta at first or something. It's getting too much with thousands of people flocking here that are have no idea at all about bitcoin but are just here to earn by posting and it just leads to utterly mind-numbing crap being posted day after day: "what is bitcoin for you" "how did you hear about bitcoin/bitcointalk" "why is the price going up/down" "should I mine or trade?" etc etc every day and it just gets worse as time goes on. Just look at the mess that is in Off Topic and Politics because those two subs are the go-to boards for people who don't know about anything else. I don't think those two boards should be accessible to lower ranks because why would someone even come here just to discuss Politics in the first place?

I am also in favour of Newbie jail idea. Restrict them only on few boards like you mentioned: Meta (since it's the place where anyone can ask stuffs about the forum) section.

What I understand visiting the Beginners and Help section is: It's about mostly bitcoin support i guess. (I might be wrong since I only thoroughly scanned it)

Whatever the board or boards they will be restricted the mod of those boards should be focusing on encouraging the members to read at least the first 6 sticky on the meta board.
