I still think these 2 patterns look familiar. Look now is a similar follow on candle.

Agree but bulls are noticeably weaker. Thus whole correction will be deeper. Based on my experience formation will look more like that:

With bottom at 10k and breakout in about 2 weeks from now.
2862  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Closing a futures position at 70700 ADA on margin balance and getting 52000! on: August 26, 2020, 10:26:50 AM
I think they should at least refund something.

Did you try to blame binance for network latency bug (you did not see price crash while performing trade because of delay caused by spam of trades)?

That being said, I withdrew all of my money from that website, and had not used it since and will not use it again. Not that I think, as of today, it is still a very trustworthy website for those who only want to buy crypto, with a good fee. But as far as I'm concerned, I'm over with Binance. I think they should at least refund something.

I think that there is no better alternative. Binance is the safest, cheapest place to trade.

And there is also something weird I noticed when I first made the limit long order. At the exact same time (like in 0 microseconds) I made my long order, I see appear, right behind my order, about 5 orders, of the EXACT SAME amount of my order, but each one a cent cheaper one after the other. As my order was being filled and amount diminished, those orders' volumes continued to be the exact same volume of my order. Can somebody explain this phenom?

There are hundreds of trading bots made by hundreds of traders using dozens of strategies. Anything can happen in orderbook. It could be spoofing orders, one trader algo bug, or anything else.

2864  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: issues with trading view chart on: August 23, 2020, 11:34:31 AM
Hi

Hope someone can help with this. I am trying to view XRP/GBP chart in 6 month, 1 year or 5year format using trading view but the chart will only show 22 July to present. It doesn't do this will all the charts but a few. Any suggestions?

Its because you are looking at charts that tradingview have from exchange that probably was not listing XRP/GPB trading pair before. GPB/USD fluctuations are negligible compared to XRP/USD fluctuations so you can do you analysis on XRP/USD as well and it is more likely to find longer chart with USD.

Test many charts to find the longest one
2865  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin can fall up to $9k or rise up to $17k - which one will happen. on: August 23, 2020, 11:28:25 AM

Whales trapped bulls after breaking 12k resistance perfectly. After that event bitcoin looks weaker and weaker with every hour. I expect bitcoin to test 10-10.5k before even trying to go up.

Testing this trend line (and even fake breaking it to trap bears this time) is very possible. After that bitcoin can continue to grow.
2866  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: list of bounties good quality (new update 23_06_2020) on: August 23, 2020, 11:06:03 AM
I want to join on this campIgn when there are still slot but the problem is i dont have computer to download thier wallet. Hoping they could release an andriod wallet and hire more participants on thier campaign.

They have community made light web wallet (https://github.com/idena-dev/idena-pocket) and community made wallet application framework for Ledger Nano S and Nano X(https://github.com/idena-dev/idena-ledger). The only problem is that you need candidate status to take part in bounty (access to PC at least once per 14 days to activate invitation) - it is not necessary to transfer funds earlier.
2867  Economy / Speculation / Re: Globb0 BTC charts on: August 23, 2020, 10:58:38 AM
People selling because they said they will if it gets back over 12?

I see it more like a whale trapping bull - like exstasie said.
Chart shows now strength now.

1- Bull trap after breaking 12k - dump instead of continuation
2- We just break trend line, test it from the bottom and slowly sinking.

In short term it does not look good. I don't expect another 12,4k test anytime soon (1 month of going sideways is optimistic scenario. Pessimistic is testing 9 500-10 000)
2868  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: list of bounties good quality (new update 23_06_2020) on: August 22, 2020, 05:49:25 PM
IDENA - First proof of person coin already listed on qtrade (0.07$/DNA) just started a bounty.

Min 15 post paid 80-200 DNA depending on your rang (full member - legendary)

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5266380.0

After last +140% pump payout for this campaing looks quite decent. 31$ for legendary member - 1 week - 15 post (2$ per post).
Idena is now listed also on Hotbit (0.156$/DNA)

Idena just can't stop pumping (0.26$/DNA). Its ~52$ for legendary member now - 1 week - 15 post and payment is already confirmed.

They are recruiting again:

UPDATE Last update - August 22, 2020

2869  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can IDENA price touch $1 ? on: August 22, 2020, 11:43:09 AM
There was no ICO but first OTC price for IDENA was ~60 sat, so first investors ROI is ~4000% Smiley

Can IDENA hit 1$? Hell yea it can. Its only 4x and with circulating supply equal 27 mln coins idena is only top 500 CMC.

Now what is idena?
Idena is innovative coin - proof of person - the only way to achieve sharding (scalable coin) without loosing decentralization. With 3000 uniqe nodes with equal voting power that idena has now it is the most decentralized coin in whole crypto industry.
Idena is about to release (Q4) oracle where it will be unbeatable - https://medium.com/idena/idena-oracles-c6e5b1908c9f
Idena is working to release SC

So idena in terms of use cases will compete with Kleros, Chainlink but based on innovative algorithm (scalable, sharding, most decentralized in whole crypto industry) not as ETH token that only clog the network.

So if we will take chainlink makretcap - 5.12 bil $ and circulating suply of idena 28 mil coins we are talking about 182$ per DNA (x830 from current price)
Even with total supply of idena - 56 mln coins we are talking about 91$ per DNA
Idena with kleros marketcap will be worth 2.5$

And oracles is only a fraction of IDENA possibilities.

I sound like i'm shilling. I know. Do your own research. I might not be objective because I'm in love in IDENA concept for more than a year - take that into consideration - I was warning you Smiley. But it trully bealive that 1-4$ is very possible and 10$ is quite nice target tu dump last 5-10% of investment (it is top 50 CMC with current supply).
2870  Other / Meta / Re: Rules on bumping in the marketplace? on: August 21, 2020, 02:57:50 PM
Making any post (even updates) under your own post in less than 24h is also considered as bumping (you can always edit previous post).

1- "bumps" - once per 24h
2- post under your own post - once per 24h
3- replies to others - no rules.
2871  Economy / Speculation / Re: Globb0 BTC charts on: August 20, 2020, 08:44:44 AM
We have now pushed the resistance up a little bit.

I am concerned that we didn't see further growth after breaking 12,000 resistance. It was so bullish. I think Bart formation (quick dump) even to 10 000 zones is possible now. I hope that my spider sense is wrong now because it detected giant bearish whale. Hope he will be eaten by Megalodon.
2872  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Idena is the first Proof-of-Person Blockchain on: August 20, 2020, 08:31:56 AM
I guess that we are closer and closer to have mobile verification!!

https://twitter.com/reddwarf03/status/1296203335498903555?s=19

This is huge.
No more "i can't be a miner because I'm not in home at xx:xx at random day" Can't wait to validate via phone.

Why is it DNA on qtrade and iDNA on hotbit, i'm getting confused.  Is IDENA possess two different identity on different exchange or there any hidden reason?

2873  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: GAMBLING SITE INVESTMENT on: August 20, 2020, 08:10:51 AM
Damn. This dump is enormous. -70% for investors. Most likely they will need years to recover because of whale investing on the dip. 6 out of 7 biggest investors open their investment Even if casino profit chart will recover to 9000 LTC investors that lost 70% will still be on loss ~-35%. This makes me even more concerned about my investment. Maybe risk is higher than i suspected? Diversification (many casino many coins) seams to be a must-have.

@Yatsan Congratulation to your profit. +12 % is pretty decent.

what happen to epoch 46? why the node difference is half of the next epoch?

Validation bug. It was well described here By realRioda. We had hard fork soon after that fixed some issues - https://medium.com/idena/idena-hard-fork-announcement-42416b1178a6. You can see this dump also on iDNA price chart.

Either-way we need to give some credits to the user @jerkasscapital since he did a lot of work digging out and connecting the dots.

Maybe it's my mistake that i quote whole message making unnecessary confusion but credits should go to @endogen, who made this sum up of his research for user @jerkasscapital.
2876  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Idena is the first Proof-of-Person Blockchain on: August 18, 2020, 07:42:46 AM
Thanks realRioda. We need more technical stuff here. Hope to see more post like that in future.

I will pass here a rumour about coinbase. Telegram community is pretty excited about that and that's why i decided to copy/paste it here. Note that this is only a rumour. Judge it by yourself.

@jerkasscapital let me sum it up:

the project team is anonymous but there is this one known and related image from the main dev: https://ibb.co/nmZ4S4L same image was also posted as the profile pic of the initiator of the initial meetup group in berlin (where it all started): https://secure.meetupstatic.com/photos/member/9/e/2/b/highres_289840491.jpeg but the thing is, it's an AI generated image.

then there is Graham Jenson. seemingly unrelated to IDENA but, he wrote this article: https://maori.geek.nz/proof-of-human-2ee5b9a3fa28 and there he is basically talking about IDENA. he is describing the whole concept there. now Graham Jenson isn't just someone, he is the Infrastructure Tech Lead at Coinbase... https://blog.coinbase.com/@GrahamJenson

notice how similar the image of Graham and Andrew is. the image from Andrew is generated from the image of Graham. and notice also how it says "New Zealand" here https://ibb.co/nmZ4S4L and that Graham is connected to that too: https://twitter.com/GrahamJenson/status/998080157394132993

and another thing: the IDENA node is coded in Go: https://github.com/idena-network/idena-go and Graham definitely is working hard with Go too: https://github.com/grahamjenson and https://maori.geek.nz/golang-desktop-app-with-webview-lorca-wasm-and-bazel-3283813bf89

last hint: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/693765642662182913/703714929307287563/unknown.png this is talking about a RPC interface that the IDENA node has. interestingly, this plays perfectly into Coinbase profiles: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/693765642662182913/703715019132502054/unknown.png

question is, what is more likely: project is a side project from Coinbase employee or actually a secret Coinbase project...

Furthermore: Idena team had access to seed investors. You gotta know people to have access to private equity like that, which lends credence to the idea this isn't just a run of the mill project by a bunch of nobodies with an idea, but actually a secret project by a large institution.

Though they could just have someone with a good finance background on the team, who knows.

2877  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots 103: More In-Depth about Return To Player (RTP) (With Poll) on: August 17, 2020, 05:11:59 AM
Why do they show a 24H RTP and RTP now? Which one should be followed? I mostly see 24H RTP to be over 100% in certain games where current RTP for that games is less than that level, why is that difference there?

24H RTP shows performance of players during last 24h. It shows nothing else than how lucky someone else was before in last 24h. This number is randomly oscillating around real RTP and has nothing to do with your expected proft/loss. RTP now or live RTP shows performance of players during shorter period (like 1h, 30 min. 4h depending on website). Its even more random.

And if less than 100% RTP, is that game not profitable if played then?

None of casino games are profitable for gambler. They are made to be profitable for casino. You can profit only when you are lucky.

If you want to know what are your actual chances of winning and how fair slot is set check real RTP not temporary RTP.
2878  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots 103: More In-Depth about Return To Player (RTP) (With Poll) on: August 16, 2020, 07:11:07 PM
Quote
not all slots with high RTP are necessarily very friendly on your bankroll. In general, games with higher are RTP are always a better choice than the ones with a lower percentage, but if your game of choice is very volatile, you can go through many thousands spins before coming anywhere close to true RTP.
Source

I believe that the goal in gambling is to stay the f out of true RTP Smiley True RTP means a loss for a gambler. The closer to true RTP you want your output to be the more certain it is that you will exit casino with loss or 0.
Therefore, if i'm gambling i choose high volatile games with as big RTP as possible. That's the only way to win big. To feel emotions.
I do not pay any attention to the live RTP. It does not matter for me if someone who played before me win o loss.

2879  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: August 16, 2020, 05:32:36 PM
I tried to visit your website and review it since I'm looking for a new casino to play but I tried to look for your FAQ and terms and conditions I don't think I can see it anywhere on the site may I ask where I could find it?

I guess there is no FAQ but i found for you terms and conditions. Scroll down to the bottom and on the left side you will see "ToS" button together with other important information like Fairness sections, AML.

2880  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: GAMBLING SITE INVESTMENT on: August 16, 2020, 05:27:36 PM
Could it be possible to ride the barts? get out when he loses, go in again after he wins?

I guess not. Its 100% random when and how next whale will play. If he will be lucky or not. TA is useless here but... I think that you can try to get in on the dips and sell tops to get better ROI than from holding. Its based on sociology and average gambler behaviour. I was once describing my thoughts about it:

What do you guys think about "trading on casino profit chart?". Not saying about doing regular TA (trend lines etc) but simply investing on the dips? From first look it does not makes sense. This chart is not moving based on supply and demand and should be moving 100% random in short term while in long term going up, but is it 100% random?

I'm just thinking:

-How often did you withdraw your profit from gambling site?

If someone wins big:
In most cases people gamble until they loose everything. Even if they double/tripple they come back next day to lose it all. They have different approach with profit money than with earned money (are willing to take more risks).
If someone loose big:
In most cases leaves casino for a while (waiting for next month salary f.e). He simply can't play more without money.

So i'm saying that after dumps casino has higher chances for short term profit than after pumps and that dives you nice kick for the start of your investment.
