2861  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Would it be poor taste to translate existing posts into other languages? on: October 06, 2021, 05:24:29 PM
I am really curious to know why you want to translate your post into two local languages. My question is, are you familiar with both languages? I think if the post is useful for the forum users you are free to do the translation. But if the post is worst then I don't think it is useful for the forum. If you are able to translate yourself then it's fine, but you should follow the forum rules. Translating your post in other languages by using any third-party service will be harmful to your account. Always keep in mind if you are going to translate a post from the others you should take permission from him but if you want to translate your post it doesn't necessary to get the permit from others just follow the forum rules. So if you think your post is useful and it will help the forum users then you may proceed with your translation by following forum rules.
2862  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Convert Your PayPal Balance To Bitcoin! on: October 06, 2021, 04:46:04 PM
If I'm taking the risk of paypal, people have to trust me.
I have enough feedback on Paxful.
https://paxful.com/user/ashwin171
Convince me that is your Paxful account. I don't believe you. Who knows if you just create a similar username of that Paxful account? Why you do not trust forum trusted users and escrow. Since you are on the forum you have to trust the escrow service. How we can trust Paxful feedback since you can't trust forum feedback?

By the way, bouncing with alt accounts is more suspicious to me. Just both accounts woke up to review your thread. I have to contact you in telegram regarding deal with escrow. But seems you have been trying to skip escrow, and asking to send you first. I am watching this thread.
2863  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to properly use a Mixer? on: October 06, 2021, 04:26:55 PM
Just be careful using a Bitcoin mixer from the Google search. Most of the mixers are just scams. Even online review could be manipulated as well, so if you just see a few positive reviews over the internet doesn't mean they are trusted. Since you already made the post here means you are in the right place from where you may go in the right direction.

A few well-known trusted mixers around the forum as already thread link has provided above. But I believe Chipmixer would be the best choice, they have good reviews and a reputation on the forum. So you might trust it.
2864  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can BTC hit 70k$ this Christmas? on: October 06, 2021, 04:08:29 PM
We can see Bitcoin price isn't much far from $60K. If the current trend continues and no bad news pop up then we might see a new ATH this month, which means anytime could touch $70K. But the problem is, there is a chance of selling Bitcoin at Christmas. If the sale happens massively then we might encounter a bear run which would dump below $40K again. I am not a good predictor nor a good analyzer, I just expressing my own thoughts. I don't think anyone could predict exactly what will happen with the price.
2865  Economy / Exchanges / Re: CoinEx or KuCoin? on: October 06, 2021, 02:48:39 PM
If you aren't encouraged to provide KYC documentation using exchange then I will suggest do not use any centralized exchange. I know Kucoin is allowing users even without verifying with KYC, but you should always be ready to provide KYC documentation while using a centralized exchange. In the beginning, even Binance doesn't require KYC for basic users. But later on, they change the rules. So any time a centralized exchange would change mind. And you might fall into a problem if in case your fund is stuck for KYC. A few decentralized exchanges are given above post, it would helpful for you.
2866  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Convert Your PayPal Balance To Bitcoin! on: October 06, 2021, 03:12:36 AM
The exchange rate is pretty handsome. I believe you will get many exchange offers. But I am worried about a few risks involved with that dealing. First of all, we know about the chargeback risk of PayPal, it's your risk. And the second risk is scammers would scam you if you do not use escrow service, this is also your risk. On the other hand, there is a possibility you might scam as well. I am not saying you are a scammer, just expressing possibility, this is our risk.

So, my question is, is will willing to accept the forum escrow service? This would, this wouldn't include chargeback risk. Escrow is just to make sure you aren't going to being scam during the deal. Though it's hard to find escrow for a PayPal deal, you may find someone.

There concern is here actually ;

After BTC comes to me, I will pay $700
2867  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Basic Types of Trading on: October 05, 2021, 06:04:50 PM
I am just away from the futures trading. Because it seems like a gamble to me and I am not good in the gamble or predictions. Whatever I am trading in is just spot trading. Future or margin trading isn't for all. Because everyone isn't a good analyzer or predictor. So without much experience, it's hard to win in margin or futures trading. Spot trading is quite safer than futures trading for beginners.
2868  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you want to see Bitcoin legal in your country? on: October 05, 2021, 05:40:33 PM
The place where you made the post most of all here is Bitcoin lover. So definitely all we love to see Bitcoin legalize in our country. My thought is if a government accepts Bitcoin as legal tender, both will be benefited from that, citizens & the government as well. Because it will be easier to use for users and the government will get tax. The thought about the crime isn't valid IMO banning Bitcoin. Because still, criminals are using both fiat and Bitcoin. It wouldn't be a good reason to not legalize Bitcoin. We should walk with the trend.
2869  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Get a $0.20 per gallon discount on petrol when paying with Bitcoin. on: October 05, 2021, 04:20:47 PM
The other criticism was about who pays for the discount; the obvious answer would be the government through tax payers money, so the citizens are paying for it.
There will be always criticism for every big step. I have read the articles where a few citizens talking about that. You have given the perfect answer. Although governments carrying out this 0.20 USD from the taxpayer, but citizens directly getting this offer from the government. It's a scope getting benefits from the government.

It seems El Salvador strongly promoting Bitcoin and encouraging citizens to use that. The president realized he should take the advantage of Bitcoin trends and improve the economic system. It's a real-time decision for a country to bring the next financial ecosystem. Hope other countries will follow El Salvador.
2870  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAmWATCH] List of 27+ Fake Project Tokens/airdrop Listed on Pankcakeswap/pre-s on: October 04, 2021, 06:10:15 PM
Looks good, you have done a good job. Just want to add, as you said 80% project is fake those have been trying to raise funds from presale, but I think the percentage is above that. I believe 98% of presale projects are just scams. They would skip with your funds at any time. Some will add tokens into the worst exchange which will consider as a scam as well. So we should be careful during investment. We need to avoid our greedy behavior to prevent such scams. Most of the tokens are just useless.
2871  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Expose] Multi-mining.net Hype Project on: October 04, 2021, 06:02:27 PM
Seems mining Ponzi has been popping up again. Earlier I have created a mining Ponzi scheme. It's pretty easy to say scam when you notice the return on investment. Not sure if a few people taking chance there like a gamble. But for me, I won't invest a penny in such as high return Ponzi scheme. They just use a few common scripts to scam people in a common way.

Anyway, hope at least forum users will not fall into that. And thanks for sharing it with the community as an advance warning. Doesn't matter either they are on the forum or not, the thread even helps on Google search besides of forum search function.
2872  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Learn more about trading on: October 04, 2021, 05:54:02 PM
I am assuming you are quite lazy to spend time reading forum threads. So first of all need to be active in reading and study more. Many threads have been created already about trading, since you are in a trading discussion read useful threads. At the same time start trading with a small fund, which means you are learning practically as well. There is no endpoint of learning, so continue till you become a pro trader.
2873  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Question to publishers and advertisers on: October 04, 2021, 05:28:45 PM
As a publisher, I wouldn't allow using video ads on my site. It's because it's quite annoying to me to see video ads on any site that I am visiting. There are chance publishers would lose visitors due to annoying video ads. Most probably gypsy would be allowed in my site if I had.

Same thought if I am an advertiser. I work for a few platforms and place ads for them. Often I choose a gypsy or normal banner. Haven't chosen video ads for any platforms. Very rarely do visitors watch videos from ads IMO.
2874  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What are the things not to do on the Bitcointalk forum? on: October 03, 2021, 05:37:06 PM
It is pretty simple, do not break the forum rules and do not abuse the forum. That's what we expect from forum members either newbie or old. A few threads have been attached above, you should learn from there in detail what should you do or what you shouldn't. More importantly, use the forum search button when you need to know something. Ask the community when you failed to find appropriate answers from the search. Avoid spamming and plagiarism will not just help the forum, it will help you as well to prevent ban your account. So, contribute to the forum.
2875  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Frequently Ask Questions(FAQ) & Answers about cryptocurrency scam. on: October 03, 2021, 05:22:54 PM
Wow! This is really a good summary of FAQ, is it possible that we can add or suggest some that arent on the list and be included in the OP? Maybe some still left unchecked but Im sure this is beyond a compilation already.
Feel free to do it. I create this thread to open discussion. So we get some other suggestions as well. I just wrote what I had remembered during writing or that question I encountered. Please share with us if you encounter any other FAQ that isn't listed in my thread.

Besides that, I create this thread to help newbies, anyone can translate in a local language or can share this thread as a reference where the same questions ask. We just need to help others by our contribution. So if anyone intends to translate you may proceed to do so.
2876  Other / Meta / Re: Should every newbie have a limit in the bounty of social media? on: October 03, 2021, 04:53:54 PM
What if the manager is a newbie? You can see in the bounty section most managers are a newbie or Jr. Member. As usual, you can't expect better service from them. Since there are no limits for managing campaigns from the forum, it's quite impossible to limit participation, either by forum or managers. And lately, most campaigns have been running by projects author. They don't care about service, they just need to spread the word about their projects. That's why it's not possible to prevent newbies from joining bounty campaigns. For your information, many threads are already open here about this issue. But who cares?
2877  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I need help about some coin prices. on: October 03, 2021, 04:41:52 PM
It's pretty confusing what you need to know exactly. Coin price, coin analysis, or suggestions to buy coins? Unless you clear what you need exactly, we are unable to help you. Just a few spammers or scammers would fill your PM. This forum is enough friendly to open discussion, doesn't necessarily ask PM for coin price. Exchange or CMC would help you to know the current price of a coin. The analysis isn't an easy task, so you may look for a few websites suggested above.
2878  Economy / Reputation / Re: Someone offers MERIT in the bounty community group on: October 03, 2021, 02:06:27 PM
In my humble suggestion, I did say that there's so much of importance attached to merits already, why don't theymos and his team outrightly ban the sell of merit on this forum.?
Theymos actually didn't permit to sell merits. One of the forum global moderators already answers it.
Quote
 Can I sell merit?
Selling merit is disallowed.

Here is the full thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2766177.0
Since merit sale for merit, sources is against forum rules. This means the admin discourages selling overall merits. Even theymos announce banning merit sales wouldn't help to prevent it. Merit sale dealing off-forum. Very rarely users are creating merit sales on the forum due to fear of a red tag. It's not much different announce by admin or global moderator. Is anyone following what the global moderator said? The abuser will always break rules, that's why they are called abusers.
2879  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 10% increase in a day - why? on: October 01, 2021, 06:35:57 PM
It's pretty simple when investors interest increases then prices start to move up. It's true some news influence the price. I have seen the news US doesn't intend to ban Bitcoin and after that investor's interest goes up and at the same time price pump as well. This isn't the unusual behavior of Bitcoin.
2880  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin have any real value? on: October 01, 2021, 06:17:06 PM
These are common questions and had discussed many times on the forum. If you spend a few more time on the forum then you will get your answer. Many users already replied to your thread, so hope you got a few basic ideas. I want to add few more things.

Before investing anywhere you should research very well in any field, either on Bitcoin or real life. Since we are talking here about Bitcoin investment then we should know what is that and how it works. Bitcoin wasn't created as an investment scheme to be honest if you read the history. But due to popularity and volatility, we make it as an investment s heme. But the reality is, we are buying Bitcoin which is cryptographic electronic money. This isn't backed by any single asset, but this is backed by the worldwide community.

If you don't know the history of Bitcoin then learn first. Then the fear will away from you. It's a virtual currency, doesn't necessarily to backed by any assets, and Bitcoin mining continues. The total circumstances are different from fiat or Gold.
