1861  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The RugPull scams/ How do recognize these projects? on: July 23, 2022, 07:06:21 PM
I have seen projects scammed even with KYC. They do KYC with a third party and rugged investors though they had a solid plan. So it's not an easy task to recognize with scam project. It's better to ignore new projects unless you don't want to gamble with your money. A new project would give you a couple of X returns or vanish from your portfolio.
1862  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Safest Exchanges in the World on: July 23, 2022, 06:59:21 PM
No, you won't find what you are looking for. Then have to use the direct decentralized exchange. But you might not get your desired pair there. For centralized exchange, no one can assure they wouldn't hack or bankrupt. We can't read exchanges owners' minds. Anytime could change their mind and anything could happen. So I won't suggest you any exchanges on that case. DYOR.
1863  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FUD Has Finally Taken Its Toll on Me on: July 23, 2022, 06:51:19 PM
Few centralized governments hardly hate Bitcoin due to decentralized behavior. They don't want to lose control over the world financial system. So they are finding a way how they could make Bitcoin weak although they couldn't ban it totally. So they choose energy issues and ban mining. But you can see even though China banned Bitcoin it doesn't help to ban Bitcoin worldwide. Still, people using it, and a lot of Chinese investors are in the cryptocurrency industry. So we don't need to think much about banning Bitcoin or ban mining. Bitcoin will exist.
1864  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Educating people on Bitcoin for free on: July 23, 2022, 06:40:20 PM
Bitcoin adapting well, but the problem is most newbies join the Bitcoin trend to become rich overnight. It's because they introduced Bitcoin wrongly. I know many people become rich from Bitcoin but it's impossible overnight. It's become quite important to educate people about Bitcoin technology and how it works. Besides that how the Bitcoin price works should know by every Bitcoin user. So that they will not regret upon the bear market.
1865  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Gemini Exchnage Credit Card on: July 22, 2022, 08:42:14 PM
I am curious. I have tried to find some info but can't access a website. It says access denied, does anyone have the same issue? I want to know are they issuing cards for all countries or do they have jurisdiction restrictions? I would like to use it if there are no restrictions in my country. Let me know if there is more information about it.

Edit,
My bad, I missed your second post.

1866  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would Bitcoin recover even if it fell to one dollar? on: July 22, 2022, 08:31:46 PM
How did you imagine Bitcoin would fall to $1? I can't imagine at all. It's already been spread all over the world and built a huge community. Many institutional investors have already taken entry here. So it won't dump in such a low price. You can see the current rate, Bitcoin has started to recover. So don't be unrealistic mate.
1867  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Learning about Bitcoin and Crypto on: July 22, 2022, 08:26:15 PM
Welcome to the forum. You are in right place to learn about Bitcoin & cryptocurrency. You have to spend your time here and engage in discussion. Use search options if you need to find anything. The peoples here are enough helpful. Besides that, you may watch YouTube videos for learning purposes. And don't be greedy if you see some greedy offer, don't fall into a scam. There are a lot of scammers around the cryptocurrency industry.
1868  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tesla: "We have converted approximately 75% of our BTC into fiat currency" on: July 22, 2022, 07:59:09 PM
If you compare the selling price with ATH then they sold at loss. But likely they aren't on the loss of average price. They have started buying Bitcoin at a low price most likely average buy price was $31,620. I don't know exactly which point they sold. So don't know if they lost or have some profits. Now I realized why Bitcoin had been dumping so hard. However, Elon made too much from Doge's manipulation. So he doesn't care about Bitcoin loss.
1869  Economy / Services / Re: Listings.Express - CoinMarketCap 24 Hour Listing ✔️ on: July 21, 2022, 08:24:40 PM
Yea, most listing agents write similar things and they could list within 24 hours. But if give them work, they say, patience sir, ongoing process bla bla bla. I have tried with a couple of listing agents, but all are fake. They tried by themselves if get listed they ask for money. Likely 10% of their project get listed successfully and they claim they list with an insider. Anyway, Coingecko doesn't need anything if can apply properly though CMC is quite complicated.
1870  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Beware of the new scam trend. on: July 21, 2022, 08:19:02 PM
This isn't new actually but might be new for you. A lot of similar scams happening around Telegram. I often receive such as DM, instead of reply then just block. Because I know it will be just a waste of time. Don't reply to random message that you aren't familiar with them. Don't be greedy, just block.
1871  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why does Bitcoin seem to have a high influence over other cryptocurrencies? on: July 21, 2022, 07:55:10 PM
It's normal, when Bitcoin is affected, the whole cryptocurrency market will be affected. Many reasons behind that, mainly panic. When people start to cash out from exchange then the Liquidity starts dumping. So traders start to move funds from each coin to others or push in Bitcoin. Traders are afraid when Bitcoin starts dumping, so they sell their holdings to secure their portfolio. That's how more dumps happen. Keep in mind, that Bitcoin is the mother coin, psychology works here.
1872  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: P2p is the original Satoshi strategy for Bitcoin exchange on: July 21, 2022, 07:29:59 PM
Nothing new. Do you think Satoshi imagined there will be an exchange like Binance? Most of the volume comes from the exchange, not from p2p. That's the reason why the Bitcoin price pumping so hard. If you ask Satoshi now, he might create something more powerful than Bitcoin. It's a matter of time. Bitcoin has created transfer money worldwide without third-party involvement. And it's happening right now. So Bitcoin working it was created for.
1873  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Google Ads Updates its Policy towards Crypto on: July 20, 2022, 08:26:50 PM
I had tried to use Google for crypto ads and succeeded as well. You should target keywords that aren't restricted by Google. Or the better option is to place the banner targeting a direct website like Coingecko. So your banner will be visible only there. But sadly I got the impression but never got many clicks. I don't know the reason exactly but at least I succeed to place a banner. But you must need to comply with their banners rules.
1874  Economy / Services / Re: Casino looking for experienced marketers and affiliates. on: July 20, 2022, 08:18:47 PM
From my experience, I can see two options for you to market your casino if related to crypto even though you don't need to hire marketers. First is preferable Bitcointalk signature campaign which has preferred by other users as well. Another is to use banner ads on crypto-oriented sites. You may use Coinzila for that, they established a great advertising network. I have seen a couple of reputed casinos running ads through Coinzila. Both of them would use by you or you may hire a signature campaign manager from the forum.
1875  Economy / Reputation / Re: How many red tags is the scammer Royse777 going to get? on: July 20, 2022, 07:50:33 PM
All the DT members don't involve with all the threads on the forum. Whether is a scam accusation or whatever. So how many red tags will get depends on how many DT members want to do so. Even I haven't read the story nor interested. Those already tag they read and think Royse777 deserves it. Also, some DT members leave positive feedback which is soft counter feedback. So it really depends on DTs mind.
1876  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hold your bag when you can on: July 20, 2022, 07:40:08 PM
The reason for the last dump was the Luna crash, we know all how drained all the Bitcoin was. So this problem won't exist forever. And it's not new for Bitcoin anymore. When Bitcoin crashed much FUD news also spread at the same time. And now, due to the up trend, we will see a lot of positive news which will pump more. So yea, holding bags though it's not Bitcoin lol. Had invested some other potential coins.
1877  Other / Meta / Re: User account email and password Reset. on: July 19, 2022, 07:08:19 PM
Create a strong password, stake your bitcoin address, and have an improved OpSec.
I am dumb and did not know what is OpSec.  Embarrassed
OpSec ~ Operational Security, according to Google

I learn a new tech term today.  Tongue

You are right,

Quote
Operational security (OPSEC) is a security and risk management process that prevents sensitive information from getting into the wrong hands. Another OPSEC meaning is a process that identifies seemingly innocuous actions that could inadvertently reveal critical or sensitive data to a cyber criminal.

In short words, secure your sensitive information properly and shouldn't be compromised anyway. For example, don't store account credentials on any online device and maintain an offline notebook or something similar. And must need to keep safe places where it wouldn't steal.
1878  Other / Meta / Re: Profile Rank and Merit Relationship on: July 19, 2022, 06:58:48 PM
The reason you are still a Jr. is that you don't read the forum although you joined more than a year ago. You aren't spending your time here to learn and contribute. Rank and merit are related to each other, on the other hand, merit and contribution are related to each others. So spend more time here, learn and contribute. Then your rank would upgrade automatically.
1879  Economy / Reputation / Re: Dead member account suddenly active? on: July 19, 2022, 06:54:08 PM
Changed hands actually aren't prohibited by the forum. So we can't expect any action from the forum if dead users account become active. If I notice such a case I would leave neutral feedback about changed hands. As long as they do not abuse the forum trust system it's fine for me. But definitely, I would keep an eye to monitor activity. Because we don't know who is behind the account.
1880  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Countries have banned Bitcoin; Do you believe is because of criminal activities on: July 18, 2022, 10:11:06 PM
It's just a stupid excuse. Are Criminal activities stopped if they ban Bitcoin? Never. It's nothing to ban Bitcoin, they just don't want to lose control of your funds. The centralized government won't allow enjoying financial freedom. They won't allow two currencies use where they don't have control. Also, many governments from poor countries don't understand Bitcoin technology or they aren't interested.
