2861  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Did you recently get a $40 "Russian Bonus" from Stake? on: January 06, 2023, 03:47:18 PM

Here is the part of my email that confirms I have received it and I made a typo above it is not 0.0023 but it was 0.002388 which was exactly 40 dollars at that time. Also I have not wagered much this week but in total I have wagered a lot last year so most likely this bonus is aimed to the persons who have wagered more than 5000-7000 dollars during the last year I assume, anyway below the pic.

Hmmm. I wager more than that amount before but I’m not active on Stake anymore for a year. I didn’t received this kind of promotional email even though I’m consistently receiving email of there promotion.

I believe this just an error for selected users that is active on Stake for certain period of time that wager specific amount. They are sending in local russian language means this promotion possibly intended for Russian players yet they mistakenly sent to everyone that meet the requirements for this bonus.

Congrats

It is a bonus for what, they should state what the bonus is for, so we will not be guessing what is intended for and those who received will not wonder, there is always a qualification why they receive this bonus and I wonder why on Russian language, maybe because the majority of those who received are Russians so they send through the Russian language to save time and effort on classifying who to send, this buzz alone is a good promotion for Stake.
2862  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you bet is chess matches? on: January 06, 2023, 08:41:15 AM
Chess tournaments as well as checkers may be a good sports field for the betting industry. I know I would bet in a chess match as I already did that against a friend. We have gathered a group pf players in my neighborhood. Thrn we started with a betting game where we could bet on the winner ot we could bet on first player going for a check. Ithe experiment worked out fine. So, if there was a site where you could bet on checkers or chess would you go for it?

The only sites I know of are https://www.chess.com/ and https://lichess.org/ these are sites dedicated to playing and improving chess skills I've used them to bet against my friends who are abroad you can sign up and search for your friend's username or you can send him the link to a game you created like this one so you can play and bet with each other.

2863  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [BEWARE SCAM] Rollbit STOLE MY EARNINGS claiming market manipulation on: January 05, 2023, 11:26:57 PM
Thanks for posting this issue and giving us the opportunity to respond to it publicly.

As mentioned via support, our traders identified abnormal trading activity on your account. After further investigation they concluded your activity was nefarious and possible via exploiting a vulnerability in the way our trading product operated.

At this point, your account had already withdrawn $21,601.61. Not bad from a $100 deposit!

That's too much profit already either you are in extreme luck or you really exploited a bug, and you can easily drain Rollbit if they let you continue to play on their platform

Quote
Fortunately, we've invested significant resources into systems that identify when a user has multiple accounts on our platform. The system remains effective in scenarios where abusers try to mask the origin of their accounts. We found evidence of efforts to conceal the origin of accounts for this case.
I know that it's not possible to divulge everything and I'm sure OP will temp you or challenge you to show proof but I don't see both parties backing on their claim, it's up now to on the appreciation of the community, but based on my observation it's possible to catch abusers based on pattern, behaviors, you can't never run a casino without a good method of tracing abusers
2864  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you a lone Sports Bettor or a Team Sports Bettor? on: January 05, 2023, 09:21:18 AM
A lone sports bettor, in my opinion, is someone who does not rely on another person to interpret the odds and advise them which sporting event to wager on. Before placing a bet, the lone gambler conducts his own study and analysis.
Even a so-called lone bettor will look at other opinions to validate his predictions, its part of the analysis in sports betting checking if he overlooks something and needs to double-check or re-analyze

Quote
In contrast, a team sports bettor, in my opinion, is a member of a betting community or group on Telegram, Facebook, or Twitter that is led by a self-described expert in sports betting. He or she chooses the game on which to make their wager after conducting the necessary research and analysis on their behalf.
Sports bettors usually start in a group but after some time do their own analysis because they usually learn how to analyze and how to analyze, this is how I start I used to be a member of a group until I left the group because the subscription is going up now I prefer to do my analysis but look on other people's predictions to see if I miss or overlook something.

For a selfie with the inscription "For rollbit"

Were you using a VPN? If you are truly innocent of the multi-accounting, I think that could be one reason - many use VPN (shared) addresses to do stuff, not a good idea IMO...

did not use VPN

One scenario is there is another in your household that used your computer to create another account and you don't know it, because every login from all their members, their IP, their location sometimes the device that they are using are recorded with date and time, they will not show it to you to protect how they tracked their users, of course, I'm speculating, you can't deny but they have a system for evidence.
2866  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [BEWARE SCAM] Rollbit STOLE MY EARNINGS claiming market manipulation on: January 04, 2023, 11:50:10 AM
Most cryptocurrency casinos don't have crypto trading features on their site. Rollbit is different and has a Crypto Futures type of game that simulates read trading. That's why the support was talking about trading manipulation etc.
I'm not playing on Rollbit and I guess some of the others here were surprised by OP's post about market manipulation, it could not be possible but checking the link you provided there really is so how come OP does not understand what the support is saying
when he is playing there, I guess everything now is on Rollbit's explanation if they want to show information that they can share I understand it's limited, will watch this thread, is this the first issue of Rollbit about trading manipulation.

2867  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Factors that contribute to form addictive gambling. on: January 04, 2023, 07:59:23 AM
Free alcoholic drinks, ease of withdrawal machines and ease of which to fund betting/gambling site wallets are serious contributory factors to addictive gambling.
They are, but there are many factors, and the casino operators online and offline are doing these things to make it easier to people to fall into gambling, they even give their users credit lines, giveaways, bonuses just anything that you can think of to make you think you are special and it's profitable to play in their casinos.

Quote
What other factors do you know contribute to form addictive gambling?
Casinos would like you to think, it's fun exciting, and profitable to be on their platform and if you have a weak character with a weak support system, gambling will take hold of you, until you become fully addicted.
2868  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Macaw Casino SCAM on: January 03, 2023, 10:03:07 PM
Thank you @macaw_casino for your conduct and also for doing the right thing.  Not often that this happens this day in age.  I am sorry to hear that you will be closing operations, as I really did enjoy the experience prior to the issues.  Have a happy 2023 and I assure you that your decisions to start the year off properly with truth and integrity, you will have many more great years to come.  To everyone else, thank you for your input and this matter is now considered closed.

If this is the case, since the issue is already resolved might as well change the title to resolved and lock the thread, it's good that Macaw_Casino did the right thing in settling the issue, they announced that they are ceasing operation because of poor software and low customer interest, they can always come back we welcome casino who prefer their reputation over profit.
2869  Other / Meta / Re: What one change would you like to see in bitcointalk in 2023 on: January 03, 2023, 08:24:01 PM
Perhaps a better merit system? I mean, whenever someone receives a merit for their reply to a thread, that user's post comes out on top! It's similar to showcasing whose response has the most substance or is the funniest, similar to reddit's.

But yeah! I think this is the most difficult to implement  Cheesy

Not really and it's possible there is a package in the SMF script where members can vote for the best response and it will come out on top of the thread I think that would be one thing that I want to be added or changed members can vote for the best response and it comes out on top below the main thread, it encourages members to give the best possible response in a discussion.
2870  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you guys bet on sports or casinos more? on: January 02, 2023, 03:27:49 PM

I'm curious as to what the ratio is for users on this forum in terms of sports vs casino betting.
If you're curious then why did you not create a poll so you can have the numbers on who is into casino betting or sports betting

Quote
I personally bet on sports 95% of the time because you can actually make money on it.
It's good that you're making money but still gambling you can possibly lose here also the same with casino betting, but the most important is you enjoy doing what you're doing in casino.

Quote
Slots and other casino games are a waste of time in my opinion.
I don't agree with your opinion and so are the majority here, but we have to respect each other opinions and interest in gambling

Quote
I can't understand why people would waste their crypto on casinos where the odds and algorithms are stacked against you.
Because you're not playing it, you are missing the excitement and the thrill.

I am planning to put 3-6 BTC on Novak Djokovic to win the 2023 Australian Open.

I just need to find a trustworthy sportsbook that will not only accept the bet but pay me too.
I am very confident in recommending Duelbits highly reputable and popular in the gambling industry, don't just take my words try them and be part of the family.

2871  Other / Archival / Re: TBD on: January 02, 2023, 01:06:58 PM
This will be a challenging project. We all are used to see regular gambling sites but this one seems totally different. Anything new most of the time takes longer time to establish.

I would say the opposite, it is not totally different but it is completely the same as other hundreds sites out there because the script/software can be bought easily through codecanyon. The main script itself is worth no more than $200, and the add on game for lottery costs him $30. For all games, someone need to spend around $800 only to own a gambling site like cryptolottery bet. For your references: https://codecanyon.net/item/crypto-casino-slot-machine-online-gambling-platform-laravel-5-application/23088602

Good revelation, I'm also a user of the Code Canyon marketplace-produced script, I would not say that script has flaws on it, because this is verified and checked by Envato
Quote
Quality checked by Envato
and I cannot say if the integrity of scripts coming from CodeCanyon are in standard when it comes to the casino if you noticed this script is already sold over 600 licenses so there's a lot of version with the same feature, but the owners of these scripts need to tweak it to differentiate from the other script so we think it's new.
For all users better check reviews of this script so you can gauge its features and if its worth using this script

2872  Economy / Gambling / Re: slots.video - reinventing jupiter rising` on: January 02, 2023, 10:55:51 AM
JupiterRising.xyz is now www.slots.video
I am now using a premium domain, this domain values at $700.

I think there is a mistake here if you are rebranding JupiterRising.xyz to slots.video, then JupiterRising.xyz should redirect to slots.video and not slots.video redirecting to JupiterRising.xyz

Quote
I've reinvented the entire platform into a different type of casino.

Through the backend, I am now able to distribute shops.

Shops have a manager, their owner, who creates his own cashiers who are his employees.

Cashier's jobs are to manually create their shop's player accounts upon request, as well as handle their deposit and their withdraw manually.

So essentially, I am a distributor who disburses credits at wholesale to shop owners.

Depending on the amount you would like to purchase in wholesale is what determines the % you receive them at.

$900 -> 3000 Credits @ 30%
$1,625 -> 6500 Credits @ 25%
$3,000 -> 15000 Credits @ 20%
$5,250 -> 35000 Credits @ 15%
$10,000 -> 100k Credits @ 10%

Shop managers are able to create their own Helper, Rules, Faq & Article pages for their own shops that players will be able to see.

For this next week, I am willing to offer demo shops that will come with 1000 credits.
This will cost $100, after the 1000 credits you will go back to standard pricing.

I have no idea how it works it's better to give us a clear picture of your new platform, a video explainer is good so we can grasp the whole concept of your new platform, you mention that this is still a casino but I have a hard time to picture what kind of casino is this.
2873  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Hackers steal $8 million from users running trojanized BitKeep apps on: January 02, 2023, 07:44:00 AM
I don't know where users download the virus-infected hijacked APK from?
They should do an investigation could be  hackers created a version of Bitkeep and installed the link going through the scammer's version on the Play store

Quote
Something really strange, important files such as cryptocurrency wallet should not be downloaded from any source other than the official version from the App Store or Google Play.
In the article they did not mention the number of victims there are still investors that do not know how to differentiate a phishing link and the official source of the wallet

Quote
This is clear negligence by users who do not adhere to the most basic safety conditions. Basically, I do not know how these people download an unknown wallet and deposit their money in it???!!!
It is, you cannot be an investor and a holder without knowing the basics of using a wallet, it's negligence on their part they are lucky if Bitkeep reimburses them its not their part anyway.
2874  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gervonta Davis VS Hector Luis Garcia SAT, JAN 07, 2023 on: January 01, 2023, 11:12:50 PM
As for the fight, and so this fight is a proceed as schedule because the women drop her charge already. And it will be this weekend already so everything have been settled and we will see if Garcia can last against the power of Davis in this fight.

While I would have thought Gervonta Davis would be the winner of this fight, given the events of this week I'm not so sure.  He can say it was no big deal and play it off, but this close to a fight to have something like this happen is beyond just a distraction.  It had to interrupt his routine going into his fight, and even now he's probably having his training and preparation disrupted by media attempts to get a reaction out of him.  Maybe he can overcome and win, but the events of this week will definitely make it a more difficult challenge for him.  This sort of thing doesn't just disappear.

Things are taken care of, for now, this is a dilemma for promoters they want healthy boxers in mind and body in the ring, especially Gervonta who is a very special boxer, come January 7 we'll see how Gervonta deals with the trauma I expect Gervonta to fully dominate Hector Garcia but this is supposed to be a tune fight and the big fights are just coming and Gervonta's handlers and promoters should see to it that everything is smooth going in the big fight which is a Ryan Garcia fight, but for now he should dispose of this another Garcia.
After this work, his lawyers and handlers should tackle all the issues and obstructions for the Ryan Garcia fight.
2875  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is playing national lottery smart or waste of time? on: January 01, 2023, 01:43:44 PM

My view on big, often state-owned lotteries is they're designed mainly for 2 reasons: to make a profit and as a social tool that sells dreams of instant life change and massive wealth to the masses to keep them in line.
First, yes I voted that I often play the lottery, and we all know that these lotteries are selling dreams and instant life chances, but there are actual people winning and people changing their lives because of the lottery, there's no logic or explanation needed because people will bet on something that will make them financially free, and it only worth $0.50 to bet in a lottery here so why not go for something that is cheap and could possibly change your life

Quote
But the reality is, such lotteries usually have way worse odds than any casinos or gambling sites. So, mathematically speaking, you're better off gambling your money there.
I once asked this, to 10 bettors and they have the same answer, and that's "It's none of my business, and it's their money"
2876  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers that don't understand basic gambling concepts. on: January 01, 2023, 11:15:10 AM

Do you have the same perception as me?
I still encounter people who believe that martingale is a good method and doubling up method is a sound method to win in gambling, if they are open-minded I can explain why it's not going to work, but if not I let them know the truth later after they lose a lot.

Quote
I think a lot of whiny threads of people telling how they ended up losing a lot more than they expected would be minimised if people understood these basic concepts. Although knowing the theory doesn't guarantee it 100% because we sometimes get carried away by emotions.
Casinos support responsible gambling and they remind their players to be like that, but it's not the responsibility of the casinos for their players to be technicality educated about the basics of gambling to minimize their losses, you are on your own when it comes to this, gamblers will either find this out through their experience or when they seek the truth.

2877  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: (Boxing) Kazuto Ioka vs Joshua Boxing Match Begins 31 December 2022 on: January 01, 2023, 09:56:47 AM

And I also doesn't think that they will reverse this decision, it's a sanction bout so the best that they can do is order for a rematch in a neutral country and see how it goes. We can't call it a robbery because there is no winner, but it's quite controversial at the end of year decision in boxing.

It's a draw and I doubt they are going to reverse that, its a bad precedent and will cast doubts on the integrity of the two judges, it's better to have a rematch, Franco can opt to have that because he won on one judge, there's always a hometown decision if the fight is close, you have to totally dominate the fight or knock your opponent out if you are fighting in your opponent soil, this is what Haney did on the two occasions he beat Kambosos, he silenced the crowd and shut down opposition by dominating the fight from start to finish.

@JuanS2099 avoid successive posts if you want to add something, then just edit your post and add additional info, we are on a holiday and they don't want pressure on this day, who would want to, give them 2 days to answer on your offer, hopefully, there will be a deal that will be accepted on both of you, not good to start a year with an issue like this.
Anyway Happy New Year to both of you  Smiley
2879  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gervonta Davis VS Hector Luis Garcia SAT, JAN 07, 2023 on: December 31, 2022, 05:17:58 PM
We will see, because we really don't know who is telling the truth in this case, but probably the lessons here for Tank is just to surround himself with good people and not those who wants to take advantage of him, and now he will be dragged in this court case wherein he should be enjoying his holiday and then looking for a fight against Hector Garcia first week of January, not it seems to be in jeopardy including his fight with Ryan Garcia.

This is going to be a test of character for Gervonta Davis, its not easy to go in a fight with this kind of issue, if he decides to go with the fight or circumstances let him continue to fight, this is really bad timing only a few days before the fight, although Hector is really not that dangerous, having uncertainty running in your mind will get you out of focus, if the fight will push through I hope Tank dispose Hector Garcia and fix this issue, he should name the people behind his post with the intention to ruin his career.

only a week before the fight and this happens. in my opinion, i believe more on what davis is saying here. seems that there are people behind who just want to get some money from him. i hope this fight will still push thru and davis should show to the world that he can be champion despite of the personal attacks to him. this is the prob of most public personalities, their personal life is open to anyone that some bad people can see where they can attack them to exhaust money from them.

His team and his promoters should protect Tank Davis, Tank is one of a kind boxer they don't want to happen to him what happened to Tyson, his team and promoters should reassure him that they will take care of everything legally, so he concentrates on the ring, he should knock out Hector Garcia and send a strong signal to his detractors that they cannot ruin
him, Tank cannot just give up now, he is undefeated won belts and everybody wants him because he is the boxer to beat, I hope no bad news will come out that Tank will back out, but if there is I hope Tank still wants to fight later.

Payouts over $250 Will Have a 3 Day Processing.
You're allowed 1 Payout per Day until we raise more Capital.
This is unaccaptable for me and for many other players here.
Nobody likes waiting and slow withdrawals.

coreyishaze can you tell me if are you the official representative for this JupiterRising gambling website?
Website was loading slower than usual for me, and I don't like using domains like xyz, and it's better to use something different.

He is honest in admitting the processes of the payouts and the lack of funding and even if we ask him to buy a copper account and hire a designer I don't think he has budgeted for this, there's no guarantee that this casino can keep up, ok for those who just want to have fun they will understand but those who look to win I don't think they will entice to play here.
You launched your casino prematurely and this is bad, we like your honesty but we need a stable casino that will meet the gambling community's standard.
