I was surprised that everybody who joined the poll voted for Gervonta Davis winning by way of knockout. If only Hector Luis Garcia would see this result, he should be worried. Or perhaps all of his worries will be gone because he is already expected to lose. So in other words, he has got nothing to lose in this fight anymore. He knows he is just a tune-up opponent. So he has everything to gain. He should be motivated by this and train hard to give the world the shock of the century. Or can he do it?

I guess boxing fans knows the power of Gervonta Davis, there are a lot of highlights of him in youtube, you can check it out. Doesn't matter to Hector Garcia though, he has accepted this fight and so he believes that he can win here.

Unfortunate turn of events for Davis though, we shall see, he is out of bail for now but chances are after new year there will be hearing so maybe the judges will decide if there is a cause for this cause and hopefully he will allow Davis to have this fight push through in January 7.

Unfortunately, it seems Gervonta doesn't want this fight anymore and suggests that it's over for him because of the trouble he is in, this is very unfortunate he has a great career and is considered to be a top boxer in the lightweight division, his team should talk him out of retirement and proceed with the fight, but if he thinks that he will have a hard time focusing on the fight they might as well postpone the fight, anyway this fight is not challenging for Gervonta, we all knows how the fight will turn out if this did not happen.

Everyone is rooting for Davis to win by KO.. well, I'm not surprise because considering his record and his opponent, this fight will likely end up in a Knock out, of course in favor of Davis as we know who is the better fighter here. I missed this event, I thought he doesn't have a tune up fight, but thanks to one of the posters in this forum, he pointed me to this thread. I'll follow the conversation of this thread. 

Well, Garcia could be the underdog here which I think everyone will agree. But mind you, Hector Garcia could also be a dangerous opponent too knowing he’s a world Olympian and a world champion so probably he has also the skills of a good boxer. But we’ll see what this upcoming match has to offer. If Davis will beat Hector Garcia, then the next on the line will be Ryan Garcia. So another must watch for all of us as Davis has always been vocal that both Garcias will never be a complete fighter for him.

Gervonta Davis has 92,59% knock out rate and he's fight with Luis Garcia which is a cherry picket opponent, how can anyone doesn't think Gervonta wouldn't win via knock out in this match? it would be different if he's fight with a champion or someone that hasn't been defeated e.g. Ryan Garcia.

And Luis Garcia is high unlikely visit this forum to read the poll he might still training very hard and wouldn't wasting his time to scroll his device.

From what I understand on his posts, it seems that  it is not true and there are individuals who wanted money from him obviously as they know that Tank could have millions in his bank account and so this individuals wanted to take a part of it, easy money for them, and it's like black mailing him. So this is another twist and only the court of law will decide which one is telling the truth here.

Right now there's no update if the fights would be canceled although Gervonta can opt to cancel the fight because of the issue he is having right now, the team should assess him if he is fit mentally to fight, of course, he is always physically fit to fight but boxing is also a mental game and you don't want a distraction as I said.

His team and his promoters should protect Tank Davis, Tank is one of a kind boxer they don't want to happen to him what happened to Tyson, his team and promoters should reassure him that they will take care of everything legally, so he concentrates on the ring, he should knock out Hector Garcia and send a strong signal to his detractors that they cannot ruin

Probably, Luis Garcia by now has been facing a serious training for his upcoming fight, so he won’t waste a time just merely reading all the comments. And besides, Luis Garcia has his own plan how to fight with Tank Davis as he has advantages over Tank according to him. But we’ll see if he can prove his words when both are already inside the ring. My vote is for Davis too, and I’m excited as to what round this match will last for.

This statement was supported by the accuser saying that the fighter does not harm her[1]

On Friday, she indicated on Instagram that Davis, “did not harm me or our daughter.”

So this clears all doubt about the claim of Gervonta Davis that he did not harm his child's mother.  It is really sad that people who wanted to take advantage of the event because there is money to be made by making it sensationalize posted unsupported claims.  These people should be sued because they are destroying other people's lives.

About the fight, the article stated that the fight is still about to happen.

Yes, Gervonta Davis is a public figure now and for sure there are people who are going to take advantage of his popularity, either to sensationalized him in a bad or negative way just like what he heard in the last couple of days, specially the timing about it as he has a upcoming fight early January.

But if his 'baby momma' has change his statement and make it appear that Davis didn't hurt them, then the drop could be automatically drop by now and so the fight with Luis Garcia is a go this Jan 7.

Yes. It's still on according to some boxing news today. They were already advertising the PPV of it even though Hector doesn't allure PPV. But Davis's action pack would be enough for them.

With all the distractions going into this fight, i don't think Davis is 100 percent ready but i also think that even if a "50 percent boxing ready Davis" will still defeat Garcia but not in an impressive manner IMO.

ML odds for now at my favarite bookies is Davis 1.05, Garcia 7.80, not attractive and not going to bet on that one. Will wait for the "Davis by decision" option as i think it will be 3.XX plus and that would be attractive odds AFAIC.
