I understand black bytes require a new backup after each airdrop to include the new blackbytes received.
2862  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 07, 2017, 05:43:07 AM
The whole BitcoinCash/BTC fee discussion is moot. I bet most altcoins can do transactions cheaper than BTC. That's not the point.

You are probably right but I have not looked further than the quote (as indicated) and what you write is a lot more comprehensive that the quote given. On the other hand, how to value Bitcoin is still out for a verdict. Even including all speculation (no discussion there), it's potential is real.
2866  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XLM] Stellar - Decentralized trading platform on: September 06, 2017, 05:40:29 PM
is there a growth prospect for the course?

Not if there are no news updates. It is awfully quiet around Stellar.
2867  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] BANKERA - the Bank for the Blockchain Era on: September 06, 2017, 10:41:09 AM
Hello,

Here you can see our blog post with more information about the payment of the first week’s net transactional revenue share: https://blog.bankera.com/2017/09/06/the-first-weeks-net-transactional-revenue-share-has-been-paid/.

The figures posted are not bad. It seems that the early crowd will have the benefit of low number of currently issued tokens for a while. Not a bad start for Bankera. Perhaps it is an idea to reinvest dividend in additional BNK tokens now that the pre-ICO is still open?
2868  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-09-05]Nobel Prize Winner Uses Bitcoin As Example of Irrational Exuberance on: September 06, 2017, 10:29:58 AM
I have not read the linked article or looked any further into his arguments but if this:

Quote
“It starts with Satoshi Nakamoto. He’s never been found. That has a nice mystery quality to it. And then he has this clever idea about encryption and Blockchain and public ledgers, and somehow the idea is so powerful that governments can’t even stop it. You can’t regulate this. It kind of fits in with the angst of this time in history.

“Somehow Bitcoin fits and it gives a sense of empowerment: I understand what’s happening! I can speculate and I can be rich from understanding this! That kind of is a solution to the fundamental angst.”

is his core argument, then he can join Dr Bitcoin (has no clue).

It seems Nova is a bit overwhelmed by the interest in DO. The DO forum is also heating up with interesting discussions and a lot of good Promo material being shared. A bunch of creative people brought together with a mission.
2870  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-09-05] 'Not an Investment': Internet Archive Defends Decision to Hold Bitc on: September 06, 2017, 08:37:29 AM
They take a small gamble with this decision, but it aligns beautifully with their mission statement.
2871  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 06, 2017, 05:46:08 AM
I see a lot of intelligent exchange of arguments. That means we can't be in a bubble extreme yet  Grin
2872  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-09-03] Bitcoin By 2020 on: September 05, 2017, 06:20:24 PM
The $20,000 prediction is a safe one, assuming price developments of the past remain valid for the future. But it takes only one bubble to shed that safe $20,000 projection to pieces.

Looking at the BETI indicator, we have reached neutral zone now. A 2013 repeat would mean $30,000+ That is not impossible, especially if we are nearing the point of 'crossing the chasm'. With marriages of fiat and crypto rolling out (e.g., TenX, Bankera), we may be less away from this point (the chasm) than we think. Crypto is definitely a HODL for me toward 2020, no matter what (except the BETI indicator reaching 1.5 before that).

Accumulate, HODL and prosper.
2873  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-09-03]As Crypto Market Sheds Billions, One Analyst Sees Buying Opportunity on: September 05, 2017, 06:12:26 PM
Bitcoin is a tue free market. No nannies, no chutes. The real thing. Fear if it goes down hard, euphoria if it goes up real hard. This correction will eventually be followed again by an upside move. The growth potential is simply (still) too big.
2874  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS - Asynchronous Smart Contract Platform - (Dan Larimer of Bitshares/Steem) on: September 05, 2017, 11:53:05 AM
For lazy people, I copy/paste the verdict from the article that Afrikoin linked:

Quote
Verdict

EOS has all the attributes of a great project and the potential to rise to one of the top 3 blockchains in the world. The lessons brought forward from previous projects are a huge advantage over most blockchain projects.

It's hard to put a price on EOS before its blockchain is live and running in 2018. That said, however, EOS is a project every investor should be watching. If it lives up to its plans, it has a potential market cap of at least $20 billion.

The BTC correction was already happening. The news just aligned beautifully to that. Humans need a story; don't confuse them with the truth.
2878  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] BANKERA - the Bank for the Blockchain Era on: September 05, 2017, 05:46:16 AM
I believe that in the best case it s gonna be 0.15$ PER TOKEN after ICO

Why do you think so? And when?

Tried to go buy some onions and Nova is not accepting new accounts atm lol.

I experienced the same. No cheap DO for me I guess.
