2861  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] BITSANE.COM Cryptocurrency Exchange Platform Is Now Live on: December 27, 2016, 02:56:07 PM

I am sure that one day will be better than bisane bittrex, yobix, and poloniex. I'm sure if the service of bitane improved, and make services for sale ico. I believe it will happen in the near future.

yeah, it has possible to happen as long as the developers work hard and develop the platform, fix the things should be fixed if it exists, add some new features, or in other words, provide what people need in an exchange. so just keep on eye on what people nowadays need.
2862  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lost Forever: 26.04 BTC Burned In 2016 on: December 27, 2016, 02:49:32 PM
The total number of unspendable bitcoins is now 2,771.4086.

http://bitcoinwhoswho.com/blog/2016/12/21/btc-burn-addresses/
I think number of unspendable bitcoin is more than this because there are also lots of addresses which contain bitcoins and nobody have access to it, like addresses of wallets whose password were lost, known addresses of satoshi etc. However nice listing...

That's true, but there is no way to confirm that they are really lost, or that the people in question really haven't access to their coins anymore. That's why it's better to wait and not include them into compiled "lost coins" lists. I from time to time spend some hours on analyzing very old wallet addresses containing plenty of coins. In some cases you will see that after 5 or 6 years the person behind one of these addresses starts moving his coins. That's why I never take for granted that they lost access to their wallets.

that is a good research. if so, then probably the owners of the addresses hold their bitcoin until some period of time. and then they will move the coins, probably they sell it. so in this case, we just need to wait for 5-6 years to know that the coins in the wallet are really lost or not yet.
2863  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I regret not being a employee of this company. on: December 27, 2016, 02:42:35 PM
So on a nice Christmas party time, drinks on the house I and my friend were discussing about Bitcoin, he's from the finance field and he generally knows a lot, so I thought I would use my Bitcoin knowledge to surprise him, wish I had not done it lol, so when I told him to invest in Bitcoin, I thought he would ask what it is and he replied he has one free bitcoin already. You can imagine the look, one free bitcoin here collecting satoshi's we hardly reach to a Bitcoin and he already has one. It so happens that the firm where he works decided to give bonus and they decided to give one free bitcoin to the selected staff and they have promised to give more in future that's so cool. You get salary, plus a Bitcoin perks of a employee life....
how lucky your friend is. well the company should have a lots of bitcoin to be given to their employees. or they accept bitcoin. whatever it is, they have give free one bitcoin.

well you do not have to regret. you can send CV or some documents to get a job on that company and work the best you can to get one bitcoin too.
2864  Economy / Economics / Re: How many BTC will make you a fiat millionaire in 5 years? on: December 26, 2016, 11:47:26 PM
I think it would be 500-1000 bitcoins because bitcoin price now is increasing than before. and I can conclude that by the end of the year, the price of bitcoin increase so high. and it can make me a millionare when I have 500-1000 bitcoins.
2865  Economy / Economics / Re: Soo, I'm planning on buying €1000 in bitcoins. Yes or no? on: December 26, 2016, 11:43:56 PM
For me, this is kind of a huge investment, but should I actually do it?

What are the risks of doing this?

it is too risky to buy bitcoin because when the price is not higher than when you buy it, you will lose price of some coins.

when the price is high. I recommend you to buy bitcoins on that fiat price when the price of bitcoin is down. I think bitcoin price is not so high in March-May. you can buy bitcoins on that months. just see the price before buying bitcoin.
2866  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me your predictions about Bitcoin on: December 26, 2016, 11:40:32 PM
In my humble opinion it's going to be a great year for Bitcoin. Historically 2012 was good, 2013 was great, 2014 was shit, probably the worst year, second half of 2015 and first half of 2016 were decent, it was obvious the confidence started to build up after the long decline of 2014 and of course the second half of 2016 was great, taking us back to the 2013 highs.
I predict 2017 will be good and we'll reach a new all time high. We'll probably crash after reaching it, but it's to be expected.

I also think that in 2017, the price of bitcoin will reach $1000, probably by the end of the year. but in the early year, I think the price will down about -$100 from the price on the last day of this year. so if someone wants to hold bitcoin, it is better to hold it until the end of 2017.
2867  Economy / Economics / Re: Holdings of gold vs Holdings of btc on: December 26, 2016, 11:36:02 PM
Does anyone have any idea how many people are using gold as a store of value vs btc?  And how long do you think until we have the same user Base as holders of gold?

here in my country, there a lots of people who do not know about bitcoin because no many people who promote it. besides, bitcoin is not very legal here. so I think there are a lots of people who are holding gold than those who are holding bitcoin.
2868  Economy / Economics / Re: How a cashless society could kill Bitcoin. on: December 26, 2016, 11:31:54 PM
I do not think cashless society will kill bitcoin but increase its price. Imagine a society without any currency notes the only method of paying is online. Since bitcoin transaction is fast and cheap and anonymous hence it would be preferred.
probably it is right. I have ever seen on TV a community who do not have any currency. they only eat from plants where they live. and no internet connection there. they even do not have any electronic stuff. but they are fine and do not think to use bitcoin. so I think OP's opinion is better.
2869  Economy / Economics / Re: If you were in desperate need for money.... on: December 26, 2016, 11:27:23 PM
One of the fastest ways is to take a loan. But that is possible only in the case that you have work. Without work nobody is going to give you a loan as I know.

actually loan is fast way, but it is not sp good because when you want to give back the money, you have to pay the interest. in my view, I do not like interest.

I prefer to work than loan someone's money. probably we can look for freelance job in some sites.
2870  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Everyone already knows about bitcoin" no.. no they do not.. on: December 26, 2016, 11:22:07 PM
same with me. it is very difficult to find someone here who knows bitcoin. but I find bitcoin users in the other island. in my city, I only find 2 bitcoin users. I do not know whether there are the other users or not. and I have ever explained bitcoin to a friend but she did not get it.
2871  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your pain and problems in the bitcoin world on: December 26, 2016, 11:17:34 PM
pain? I think it is so pain when I was kicked out from a signature campaign while it was my only job. and then I looked for another signature campaign for not a short time.

besides, I regret that in 2015 I sell my bitcoins, while now the price is so high.
2872  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you ever lost BTC from getting infected? on: December 26, 2016, 11:12:55 PM
never. I just have an online wallet, and I rarely use my computer to download something. and then when I earn bitcoin, I use it to buy things I need. I rarely save my bitcoin because it is my main job to live. so I do not often have bitcoin.
2873  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin for effective methods? on: December 25, 2016, 11:59:16 PM
I'm a new person involved in bitcointalk forum, I want to make Bitcoin, the method to get Bitcoin on the internet that I have read as:
1. typing to make Bitcoin free capcha => has been very little, your computer vulnerable to viruses invade
2. Investment in the website => almost all are scams
3. gamble => this is a violation of law
Please share with me what do I do to get Bitcoin?
those things are not good ways to earn bitcoin.  I prefer to suggest trading, mining, bitcoin business and signature campaign. you can earn higher profit by trading and mining. while bitcoin business is promised as long as you good in running a business. and signature campaign does not need so much capital financial.
2874  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It's freaking 2017 - Do you own 1 BTC? on: December 25, 2016, 11:55:05 PM
I still do not have 1 bitcoin because I have to fulfill my daily needs myself. so I cannot save my bitcoin. I need to convert it to fiat first in order to buy some stuff I only can buy by fiat. while I just earn bitcoin through signature campaign. so I find it difficult to collect 1 bitcoin.
2875  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin business idea on: December 25, 2016, 11:51:15 PM
Teaching how to trade bitcoin and altcoins. How to read candle sticks and how to make fundamental and technical analysis.
that is cool. it is not on the list, but thingking creatively is not an issue. I think teaching will not need so high financial capital of bitcoin. but it will need knowledge. well I think I prefer to Selling stuff in bitcoin and Freelance job in bitcoin. because I like selling and I am not a full time worker.
2876  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Rally! Keep hold your coins! watch that chart 1200$ soon. on: December 25, 2016, 11:44:37 PM
Too early to declare something extravagant just because bitcoin has been pumped to $900. But I won't lie, the increase had been surprising since there would be nothing significant to move the price that high. Anyways, I've already collected some profit when price was crazy at $890-$900. Time to wait for cheap coins hehe.

yeah, it is too early to state that. even the price is increasing little by little, but it is still a mistery. no body knows whether the price will reach $1200 sooner or later. but I am not sure if it will be $1200 sooner. just wait for some time more.
2877  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons to fork bitcoin in the future? on: December 25, 2016, 09:55:02 PM
Is there any issues with bitcoin to fork it when they become a problem? why not find all the reasons that might require a fork some day and only fork it once and not few times?

do you mean to fork bitcoin or to fork blockchain? and then if there is copy of it, what next? I am not really sure about that. probably it will be good idea sometimes to separate between two groups when a problem comes. so how do you separate between two groups who will use original one and copy of it?
2878  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: impact of bitcoin on your daily life/business? on: December 25, 2016, 12:01:08 AM
hello
I have a question
what was impact of bitcoin on your daily life/business?
do you use bitcoin in your really life every days in your country?
bitcoin makes me fulfill some needs like books I can buy and some daily needs because I live far from my family now. so I do not need to always ask for money to my family.

actually I convert my bitcoin to fiat first because in my country it is not acceptable everywhere.
2879  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Starbucks accepting bitcoin on: December 24, 2016, 11:58:46 PM
Seems interesting for some people, but considering that it uses another service layer chances are they aren't going to get a ton of interest in it. They might get some, but likely not as much as if it was direct.

Doesn't matter much to me, though. I don't use Starbucks or drink coffee at all, but I hope this benefits some of the Starbucks customers on this forum.

so do I. I rarely use starbucks products because I just do not like coffee. so it sounds not really interesting to me. but at least when starbucks accept bitcoin, it means that they are announcing or promoting bitcoin as well. probably there will be more bitcoin users.
2880  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [FORBES] Is Bitcoin Better Than Gold? on: December 24, 2016, 11:55:41 PM
Quote
Still Bitcoins have two advantages over gold. First, they can be used as a convenient medium of payments, though for a limited number of transactions, a function gold is missing. Second, the Bitcoin supply is expected to be limited to 21 million. The supply of gold, on the other hand, is expected to increase anytime its price rises, as it provides an incentive for gold miners to mine for gold.

so the conclusion is both bitcoin and gold is better. the things have their own advantages and disadvantages. it is difficult to say bitcoin is better that gold because bitcoin also has weakness like it is limited to 21 million although we can get it "easily", and the opposite.
